Hey, if we were able to see a dub of Digimon's 4th movie air on ABCFamily then there may be hope for this.
Personally, I wouldn't mind it if Stream ended up on Toonami or Miguzi. CN isn't exactly all that adament of airing anime movies if they're shows they're airing on one of their blocks. |

I weeded through this thread as well as a few news posts to see if I could get my answer there but I couldn't find it. If I just looked over it and the answer is obvious than somebody has permission to yell at me, but I can't help but ask if Ryouko or anyone else is going to be uploading this movie for .torrent seeding etc. or if there is something I don't know like legal issues or no-one wanted to seed...please do tell as I'd love to see it and if it's because no one will host it or seed it - feel free to ask me, I have tons of webspace that can be used at will...

Ryo has said she will not be uploading this on Saito-Raws, because of respect for WPP's promise to sub it sometime and because she doesn't want to be sued by Shopro. <<

And it's also relatively inexpensive; more sales of the movie supports the company and also broadens the chances of it being brought to North America. ;)

yes so if you guys want the movie to be shown here in the U.S please buy the moive and support the people who made it.

I want to note that even if you guys plan to download the fansub version you should still consider buying the Japanese DVD. As I said, it's affordable, and the quality is much higher than any computer-encoded version could be. If you want to watch a subbed version first to understand the plot, you're ot alone there, but please think about buying the DVD and supporting the industry!
For those who need help, you can get it at places like CDJapan ( http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=PCBE-51696 ) for around USD $25, with relatively fast and affordable shipping.

Oh yeah, you are lying. You won't get suing by SHOPRO because it is out in JAPAN only. It is not available in the USA..not yet.

I'd like to remind to people that the movie is recently out for sale. Support your fandom and buy the movie. There's several physical stores carrying the movie upon request, so if you cannot buy the movie online for whatever reason, there's always the option of an anime store carrying it for you.
I've seen it for purchase in Mexican anime stores. If it's here, more than likely is also avaible at an anime store close to you. BUY the movie, convince ShoPro we deserve a Soundtrack while we're at it XP

Then WPP has a right to sub it?! I do not think it made a sense because SHOPRO can sue WPP to subbed it too. What's the difference anyway? |
