It's probably because those 2 are pretty recent. Plus I wouldn't want anything from the Axl games in here anyway.

Once MMXCollection comes out, I won't be the only one who actually owns a copy of MMX3... and X, X2, X4, X5, and X6...

OMG, I forgot this game existed until my friend at GameStop was trying to get me to preorder another 360 game. Instead, I preordered the GC edition of this, and I can't wait for it to come out!!

I also still need to sell off my copies of X4 and X5 that I still have for PS1.

Oh, and as far as I'm concerned, the X series should have ended with 5. Six and 7 were so bad, I refuse to even look at 8.

Your loss. 8 is where they finally began to redeem themselves.

I know the games are fairly recent, but I don't know why Capcom wouldn't put X7 and X8 on the collection. Oh well. By the way, what kind of extras will X Collection include?

most likely just battle & chase or should i say megaman racing LOL, they might throw in a few episodes of axess as unlockables, that would be cool or maybe they will put a dubbed version of stream episode 1 in it as a spoiler for next year, that would be cool

I hope not because then it might not be on the cube version and that would be a ripoff.

I'm looking forward to playing the original Mega Man X as that is the one that I familiar with the most seeing that I saw my brother play it so often when I was younger. I'm also looking forward to playing X5 as that one features a storyline and characters that have gotten my interest. As for the rest of what is to offer, I wish to play those games as I want to have a better understanding as to how the Mega Man X series works.

Hmm, doesn't look like Spaz or Fong's styles to me, though that Sigma could perhaps have come from Spaz...

Trust me, you're not the only one that already owns it.

I should have browsed this thread earlier.

I agree 100%. That's what I've been saying, mostly. I do like X6 but they really should have stopped at X5. I usually try to go by X5's sad ending and forget anything after it exists. X5 was set up very nicely to end the series. After I beat it, I actually got the feeling that this was the end, I was so surprised to hear about X6.

I disagree 100%. IMO X8 isn't much better than X7 if at all. The X series was fine with it's shiny 2D look, they should have kept it instead of relpaceing it with the blocky graphics it has now. Not to mention the horrid redesigns (except for Alia's), and the fact Sigma got such a disgraceful end and was outwitted by a one shot character. Aside from playing as the navigators, there really isn't anything new in terms of gameplay. Redeem themselves Capcom did not.

X8 was okay to me. :/ It's just too easy that's all.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to playing X6, since I haven't played that in my life. Heard a lot of mixed comments about it. So...yeah. I want to know how Zero got "revived" and all that.

I don't know, I actually had a lot more fun with X8 than what I played of X7.

As for graphics? Deal with it, that's what they're using now, 3-D graphics on 2-D gameplay, and at the distance the camera is from the characters, they don't really look so blocky in X8.

For all we know, it might've been Sony pushing the 3-D part. Or maybe they just worried that gamers may not buy a 2-D graphic game that's not retro.

But given how little fun there was to be found in X6 and X7, I do feel that X8 did redeem itself in that it was fun to play again, whether you care for the story or not.

It's a mystery as to who or how he was revived. My money is on the same way as X.

I'm looking forward to X collection. My mom already agreed to get it for me for Christmas

Ocean Group is redubbing the voices for X, Zero, and Sigma in the X4 cut-scenes with the actors from CM and X8.

While I do prefer the original voices, as long as Colonal and Iris are left untouched, I'm okay with it.

I'm mainly interested in playing X4 and Battle and Chase. X4 because it has some of my favourite characters and cut scenes in it, and B&C because I like racing games, even though I'm not very good at them.

It's probably because those 2 are pretty recent.

I figured it was because they would take up too much room on the disc. I heard that 3D games require more space than 2D games, so I figured that they wouldn't have them on the disc(s) for that reason.

By the way, does anybody have any details about Megaman Racing (formerly known as Battle & Chase)? What's the plot and what are the playable characters? This is the first time I've seen pics of the game, so I'm just curious to know what it's about.

There isn't a plot. XP

The characters are the usual group (Rock, Blues and Roll) and a bunch of Robot Masters from the first two games. Iceman, Gutsman, Quickman and the like.

It's a loose plot, more than Mario Kart has. Each racer is racing for their own reasons, most to win prize money.

As I recall, Light's computer got fried in some accident, and Mega Man is out to get the money to fix it.

Bass wants to beat Mega Man at everything, so he's in.

Quick Man wants to prove he's the fastest robot, so he goes.

And so on.
