Actualy, I think we can. Rule #2 says not to steal from Ryouko's AMV's. Last I checked, the movie stuff wasn't an AMV.

EDIT: Even if we had someone's permission, we still can't.

Wasn't it Ryouko who put up torrents on the Saito Raws? But were not banned from using them.

You can't use clips straight from someone else's AMV.
You can, however, use clips from episodes and short clips that someone offers from the actual anime.
So in short... say in Ryo's media section. You can use the FCR fight all you want. (...at least I think we can) However, taking a clip from Digital Anguish is a big no-no. Understand?

Ah, okay. Yeah, any sort of episode or shortened clip taken from the original anime is free for use. So long as it hasn't been rendered, transitioned, and applied to music (or otherwise had work put into it by the editor), it should be okay to use.

Okay, yet another question. It says we can post remixes of songs, not direct rips from games. I took Departure from Rockman Zero 2, got rid of the intro part(the For Endless Fight remix), and extended it. Would that be considered a remix or arrangement?

An arrangement. Basically you'd need to add your own arranged feel to the song. Try for example comparing the song the way it sounds in the Game to the way it sounds in the Remasterized sountracks.

What you get in the Remasterized Soundtracks is the kind of thing we ask to post here. Your own 'touch' to the song. Not just take the song and just replay it the way it is or longer.

Hi everyone, I also have a question.
There is an audio drama adventure called The Incredible Adventures of Stumperman (supposed to be an action/humor story and we had a lot of great feedback) made by a friend and myself. I'm not suggesting to post like ALL of that, because we already have over one and half hours of material, but we have 30-second promo's and episode previews and stuff like that. And I could make some clips :p
Is it okay to post it in this section (we used background music from various anime and movies, including Rockman EXE, but it's a non-profit thing so we're only using them for fun)?

I have a question. I recently took the song Everytime by Simple Plan, and rewrote most of it to match a situation in my life. I ddin't however play it or make it a music thing. WOuld I be allowed to post it here, since I was thinking of putting it in the fanfiction section but I didn't see songs allowed. or do songs count as poems?
