Alright... without further ado. Here's the first chapter of my new fic: Mega Man: Next Generation

Mega Man: Next Generation

Chapter 1-1: The Awakening
It is the 21st century and the Earth has now entered a period of technological change. That was when two scientists brought forth the age of robotics. Dr. Thomas Light and Dr. Albert Wily were the ones who helped create their first robot. Because of their success, many other robots were also created for the purpose of helping mankind. But, with the arrival of robots comes controversy as the two scientists began sharing different perspectives on how robots should be used.

Dr. Light: "I believe that with the right inspiration and the right amount of attitude, robots should be used for helping mankind. Together, robots and humans can create an utopia where peace shall be brought forth over the world."

Even though Dr. Light's ideals attained respect to some of the world's greatest scientists, Dr. Wily however has different views on how robots should be used. Even though some considered to be unidealistic, Wily considers it to be his way.

Dr. Wily: "Robots are not meant for helping mankind. They are meant for war, destruction and keeping the peace. Robots shouldn't be used for such stupid stuff such as construction, medical care, and housekeeping."

Realizing that it could escalate, Wily and Light became sworn enemies with different ideals; Wily becoming an evil genius with the determination of world domination by using robots and Light becoming a scientist with a heart set on having humans and robots co-exist peacefully. Ever since then, robots have now been known to help humans but on one unexpected day, everything will occur through the eyes of one teenage boy.

16 years have passed since Dr. Light have developed his first robot and New Light City has underwent many changes. The most important change of all will revolve around a teenage boy that will encounter something that will change his life. It all began in a normal day in New Light High School as students were getting ready for another day of class. Students were heading into the school and that was when one familiar boy appeared. He was a young man who had a not-so familiar outfit that was consisted of all blue; blue jacket with white t-shirt, light blue jeans, and hair that was died blue. He looked to find his locker and hoped to get his books needed to head to class. As he looked around, he saw his environment as many kids were coming back and forth ready to head off to their classes. He checked out his surroundings and saw that everything was bustling and full of life.

Rock: "Hmph. This happens every day... students keep moving back and forth in order to head to their classes. It's a way of life for me. I just hope I got my books because I feel not the same without my dad."

It has been 8 years since his father passed away and his life hasn't been the same. He now lives with his grandfather but doesn't spend much time with Rock because he is so focused on robotic development. He still goes to school and does well, the only difference is that he has no friends. As Rock got his books and went off for class, his life was gonna get a little interesting as he went off to his classes. His first class was none other than Mathematics in which he was an expert at; no matter how hard the problem is, he's someone that can solve it with little or no hesitation. The teacher decided to let Rock show the class his math skills.

Rock: "Okay, everyone. You may need to pay attention because this type of skill only comes around in the family I'm in."

Rock begins to show some of his mathematical skill to his classmates, everyone began seeing some of the mathematical finesse that Rock is unleashing. The teacher checks out the math that Rock is doing but what he's witnessing is that the math is college-level. As Rock finishes up the work, he takes a sigh of relief and witness his success. After he sees all the mat he did, he took a major sigh of relief and the teacher was pleased to see how much mathematical progress that he had showed.

Rock: "So, what do you think? Is this math work great or what?"

Teacher: "I'm pleased with your work, Rock. I have to admit that this is some math work that I'm very pleased with. You may take your seat now."

Rock: "Thank you, sir. I knew that you would be pleased."

As Rock took a seat in his class, he began wiping his head and that was when the teacher continued on with teaching the class using some of the examples that Rock used in his earlier lesson. Rock smiled with delight knowing that he became someone who became the class genius. As class ended, he was heading off to his new class but that was when he encountered something in the hallways that made his heart had the guts to do something. A bully wearing outfit of a punk style began beating the heck out of another student. Rock knew that he didn't like what was happening so he had to do something about it. The instant the bully was about to hit him, he grabbed the fist and took a good look in the eye knowing that what the bully did was wrong.

Rock: "You've got one thing coming when it comes to messing with a young fellow."

Bully: "You've got some nerve messing with me."

Rock: "Actually... its the other way around."

The bully immediately then grabbed Rock's hand and threw a right hook but Rock was as quick and agile that he retaliated with a powerful left uppercut to the stomach. The bully began to cough out blood and vomit that he took a few steps back and then he took a look in the eye and was ready to strike again. He was more determined to put Rock out of his misery but he won't let that happen.

Rock: "Come on. I expected better. Do you think you can mess with the likes of an individual that can't fight back. Hey, you okay?"

The kid nodded in approval and he immediately went off to find a safe place. Rock then went into a Muay Thai fighting stance as he was ready to kick some butt big time. The bully however didn't care as all he wanted was to kick his butt no matter what.

Bully: "Alright ya little twerp. I'm so gonna look forward to taking you down! Prepare for the end!"

Rock: "We'll see about that."

Rock cracked his knuckles as the bully charged like a rampaging bull. That was when he closed his eyes and knew when was the right time to retaliate. As the bully charged, Rock jumped high in the air and the bully hit the wall suffering major pain. Rock turned his head around and saw the bully ready for some pain but that was when the bully decided to charge again only this time, Rock had to end it as soon as it started. The bully charged a second time and this time, instead of jumping like the last time he decided to ride on him and give him a major butt-smacking. The bully was screaming as he was ready for one heck of a ride. Unfortunately, the ride was short as he ended up in his own locker door face down on the ground.

Rock: "Well, that's the end of him. I doubt that he will be wasting time bullying others again. Dang, all this butt-kicking is making me hungry. Time for some lunch."

As he heads out of the school to get something to eat, he was pleased that he finally kept the peace. That was when the kid who he saved came by and decided to join him for lunch. Knowing that the boy wanted to make friends, Rock decided to invite him for lunch.

Rock: "So tell me something... what's your name anyway?"

Daniel: "I'm Daniel... Daniel Cossack. I want to say thank you for saving my life. I don't know what to say because no one has ever helped me before."

Rock: "Don't mention it. I don't have any friends so I do what I can to keep the peace."

Daniel: "That's kind of cool. Hey, what's your name?"

Rock: "I'm Robert... Robert Light but everyone calls me Rock. I'm the grandson of the world's famous scientist named Dr. Light."

Daniel: "I've heard of your grandpa. Your grandpa is very famous. My grandfather is a good friend of Dr. Light."

Rock: "You mean Dr. Cossack? He's the leading authority in bionic genetics."

Daniel: "Yep. He's someone that is helpful when it comes to the world of robotics. All he wants to do is to find out the difference between the physical world and the robotic world."

Rock: "That's cool. Hey, I know a good place where you can buy battlechips. Wanna see?"

Daniel: "Sure. I'm interested because I'm a battlechip collector. My grandpa gives me money every week to get my hands on some of the greatest of battlechips. I don't know how to say it but I love to collect battlechips with all of my heart. What's more fun about it is that I love battlechips but I don't have those kinds of Cybernetic Terminals that you use."

Rock: "They have it there at different kinds but you should get it where its advanced. Come on, I'll show you."

As Rock and Daniel head off to the battlechip shop, he begins to see something that definitely attracted him. It was some robots causing destruction at a nearby construction area and Rock decided to do something about it. The robots were continuing to cause havoc and destruction in a section of New Light City. Rock had to do something and deep in his heart, he didn't have much choice.

Rock: "Daniel, there's something I have to do. You go on ahead okay?"
Daniel: "Sure. You be careful."

As Daniel went off to the battlechip shop, Rock went off to see what has happened. When he arrived, he checked our some robots that are under someone else's control. Normally, he sees robots doing work but these robots were meant for destruction. That was when he grabbed a big piece of wood and decided to stop them at any cost.

Rock: "All I got to do is wait for the right moment to strike."

That was when one of the robots turned his back and Rock struck with the piece of wood. The robot didn't like it a lot but that was when he retaliated with a powerful fist attack. Rock got hit hard by that attack and that was when he grabbed an iron pipe and went one-on-one against that robot. Fortunately, there was one other robot that also wanted to fight Rock. He appeared and decides to intervene in the fight. The robot was black but he has yellow shown in his helmet and purple marks in his eyes. Those marks meant the sign that he was ready to fight.

Rock: "Dang. Who the heck is this guy?"

Bass: "I'm Bass... and I believed that you just made a big mistake."

Rock: "The only mistake you've made is bringing havoc in this city."

Bass: "Oh no. I'm afraid that the mistake you've made is messing with us."

Rock: "Try me."

That was when Bass fired his Bass Buster and Rock dodged it effortlessly. Bass wasn't pleased so he decided to go on the offensive and decided to do some hand-to-hand combat. Rock ditched the pipe and also decided to go hand-to-hand combat as well. Both of them gave it their all and each of them were determined to kick some sorry hide.

Bass: "You are indeed very skilled... for a human being."

Rock: "You're right. I ain't no ordinary human. I'm the grandson of Dr. Light; Robert."

Bass: "Robert Light, eh? You are indeed very interesting but too bad I have to put an end to your life."

Rock: "Huh?"

That was when Rock suffered a blow to the stomach and Bass immediately gave Rock a left uppercut which sent him sailing to the ground. Bass then aimed his Bass Buster for Rock who is now lying in the ground trying to get up.

Bass: "Don't bother getting up. It's gonna be over before it begins."

Rock: "What?"

Bass: "Say goodbye..."

The last thing Rock saw was a blast of light that completely engulfed him and the only thing that Bass saw was a lying corpse. Bass didn't like having to do it at first but he knew that he would have to do it eventually. As Bass orders his robots to head off, Rock tried to move with whatever strength he had but unfortunately, he failed as he lied there and began to see the light. But when Dr. Light found out that his grandson was killed by robots controlled by an evil scientist, he began working on something he never thought he would make it possible.

Dr. Light: "Ever since my son was killed by robots who want to destroy and cause massacre, I knew that it was none other by someone who vowed to control mankind. Dr. Wily, why did you take my son's life? I vow that on my grave that my son will be reborn again and will take you down once and for all!"

That was when some of the world's greatest scientists and even the likes of a famed battlechip collector named Higsby Yamitarou decided to put their strength in reviving Rock. Dr. Light as well as many different scientists put their strength in creating the ultimate weapon; a robot that has compassion, self-determination and conscience. With those three put together, this robot would become a hero to New Light City and the world. The only question is when Rock is awakened, will he accept his new body?

Six months later...
Dr. Light has finally completed the ultimate weapon and with it, it has been fully completed with various modifications. All of the scientists were pleased to seeing this new project come to fruition. Dr. Cossack was also pleased as well because he also put his part in developing a new robot that would help save the world.

Dr. Light: "It has come to this everyone. After six months of patience and dedication, our ultimate weapon is finally completed. This ultimate weapon is complete with various modifications helpful when its in combat. For example, its helmet is complete with a mega-optic radar that allows it to track any known disaster within a 300 yard radius. It's body armor and skeletal system allows it to withstand damages up to 97%. It's main weapon, the Mega Buster NG fires a powerful blast of neo-plasma generated energy that can decimate even the thickest of metals. With help from Higsby Yamitarou, we've also developed an Automated Battlechip Terminal that allows it to use various weapons for all sorts of situations."

Higsby: "Yep. My knowledge of battlechip is now his knowledge. I hope he can use it to take down Dr. Wily and his band of robots."

Dr. Light: "Of course, Higsby. Also, his legs are equipped with the most advanced acceleration system in the world. With it, he can be able to reach speeds that can put even a cheetah to shame. And now, for the moment of truth, the awakening of our ultimate weapon. It's unbelievable considering that its a new generation of robot and human put together. For I will call it... Mega Man NG.

The instant Dr. Light pressed the button, its eyes immediately opened and it began seeing everyone around him. It was an unexpected surprise seeing that everyone was here. That was when the robot began saying its first words and it was a shocker to nearly everyone around him.

Mega Man NG: "Grandpa... am I reborn?"

Dr. Light: "Huh? Can it be?"

Everyone was shocked to see Mega Man NG's voice be the actual voice of Dr. Light's grandson. Dr. Light began shedding a tear knowing that for the first time in his life, he witnesses the rebirth of his grandson in the body of a new hero. Who would have figured that the new robot that they developed for six months would hold the essence of a teen who died by the wrath of Dr. Wily's robots.

Dr. Light: "Rock, is that you?"

Mega Man NG: "Grandpa, I can't believe it. Where am I? What happened?"

Dr. Light: "Allow me to explain. It's been six months since you were killed by Dr. Wily's robots and I made a vow to create a hero that would protoect the world from the likes of Wily. Who would have figured that the hero I created would hold the soul of my grandson."

Mega Man NG: "Grandpa, my vow is your vow. I will defeat Wily at any cost."

That was when Mega Man NG detected an enemy presence from his mega-optic radar in his helmet. Dr. Light began seeing what was happening and it was none other than Dr. Wily and his legion of robot masters begin causing havoc all over a construction area.

Mega Man NG: "Dr. Wily and his no good band of robots are on the move. This time, he's attacking a construction area south of this building. I have to get moving and fast!

Mega Man NG went downstairs and went outside hoping to find a ride necessary to reach Dr. Wily and his band of robot masters. Fortunately, he found a skycycle that had the perfect capability of reaching the area. With a flick of his wrist, he hits full throttle and heads off for the construction area. Meanwhile, Dr. Wily and his band of robot masters are off ready to cause havoc but they were hoping to get their instructions first.

Dr. Wily: "Alright, my precious robot masters. Time to cause some total destruction in this area. Soon, the mayor of this city will see our power and he will know what we are capable of."

Bass: "Um, I hate to interrupt... but we got some company."

That was when Mega Man NG appeared on a skycycle ready to cause some havoc. He then immediately jumped and did a spiral galaxy spin that gave him some perfect balance and perfect aim. Armed with his Mega Buster NG, he was ready to unleash some serious butt-kicking.

Bass: "Who's this nutjob?"

Mega Man NG: "Who you calling 'nutjob' anyway? If I were you, I suggest you look before you say something. My name is Mega Man NG and I'm here to kick some sorry butt."

Dr. Wily: "Attention all robots... destroy Mega Man NG!"

That was when Mega Man NG goes off into battle and shows off some of his skill to some of Dr. Wily's robot masters. One of the robots looked like a wolverine ready to kick some sorry butt. Mega Man NG was ready to fight and his heart was set in the right path.

BeastMan: "I'm BeastMan and I'm here to slice you into a pile of smoldering junk!"

Mega Man NG: "We'll see about that!"

The instant he fired, BeastMan was sent to the ground and was immediately knocked out upon impact. That was when Mega Man went closer and absorbed Beastman's claw acquiring his special ability. With it, his Mega Buster NG transformed into one of Beastman's claws ready for a serious slicing. He then looked around to find his new target and immediately saw Bass, the same person that killed him six months ago. With a rage that is as powerful as his own heart, he charged for him.

Bass: "So, the blue boy wants a fight? He's got a fight! WideSword, battlechip in!

Bass' right arm immediately transformed into a WideSword and then he jumped high into the air and was ready for one heck of a fight. Bass and Mega Man NG's main attacks collided upon impact and they immediately struck each other back and forth hoping to not hold back at any cost. Both of them had a determination like no other but Mega Man NG was certain to beat Bass no matter how good he is.

Mega Man NG: "You are good. I mist say that for someone that has strength, you are someone that has no idea how powerful I can become."

Bass: "Is that so? Well, I'm gonna show you that true power lies on those that are tough! Tough like me! Shotgun, battlechip in!"

Bass' WideSword transformed into a Blaster and fired a shot which spread into multiple bullets of concentrated energy. Mega Man NG only had a few seconds to come up with a countermeasure before he ends up blasted into oblivion. That was when Mega Man NG came up with an idea and he had the perfect weapon to do it.

Mega Man NG: "Alright, time to get on the counteroffensive! Guard1, battlechip in!"

That was when Mega Man NG's right arm turned into a shield and immediately repelled all of Bass's shotgun blasts. Mega Man NG immediately transformed his Beast Claw into his trusted Mega Buster NG and was ready to do battle. He fired several shots of his Mega Buster NG and Bass moved quick to the bone dodging every shot.

Mega Man NG: "Maybe my shooting is way off but I have the perfect weapon for it. MarkCannon, battlechip in!"

His right arm turned into a MarkCannon, set for some major firing. He was certain to time his shot before he was to make another false mistake. Once the target was set, Bass was immediately stopped in his tracks giving Mega Man NG the opportunity to fire a shot he needs to take the bad guy out. Once it fired, Bass hit the ground and was set for another round of pounding.but Bass had a counteroffensive.

Bass: "That hurt but I'm not gonna let that stop me. Katana, battlechip in!"

Bass' right hand turned into a katana blade and he was ready to strike at Mega Man NG with everything he had but unlike Bass, Mega Man NG had a plan to settle things once and for all in just one quick strike.

Mega Man NG: "It's time to finish this! Slasher, battlechip in!"

Mega Man's right arm turned into a sword and that was when he stood in a waiting pose while Bass charges at full throttle determined to kick his butt. Mega Man NG's eyes were set at his target and he had to strike when the time was right.

Mega Man NG: "I know when the time is right. It won't be long now."

Bass: "Prepare to be obliterated, mega jerk. It won't be long before I put an end to you for good."

Mega Man NG: "That's what you think."

His eye struck as a sign meaning the time was right and Mega Man NG immediately struck Bass with one heck of a strike that sent Bass flying through the floor. With that taken care of, his Mega Buster NG was set for a charged blast to take out Bass once and for all but he wasn't gonna give up without a fight.

Bass: "What are you? You aren't human?"

Mega Man NG: "That's right, I'm not human. I'm a new generation of robot and human merged together into one. And if you think that doesn't satisfy you, maybe this will."

That was when Mega Man NG took off his helmet and it revealed a human with dark blue hair. Bass was shocked to see not only a human who was kicking his butt, but it was the same human that Bass killed six months ago. Dr. Wily saw it as a shocker because he never believed that a young man would become the ultimate fighting force.

Bass: "I can't believe it! Why it has to be you!? Of all the people that I've dealt with, why is it that you have to come back to life?"

Mega Man NG: "For one reason... to stop Dr. Wily and his band of robots from controlling the world."

Bass: "Well, you may have beaten me for now... but the next time we meet, Mega Man NG, I promise you that I'll finish the job! We're out of here, Wily."

Dr. Wily: "This blue dweeb is human? Dr. Light has something to do with this! But, I promise you that he won't see the last of us!"

As Dr. Wily went off on his Skulker, Mega Man NG watched on as he saw a new opponent head off into the horizon. With an expression as serious as his attitude, he was determined to defeat Bass and put an end to Dr. Wily one way or another. Back at Dr. Light's lab, Mega Man NG saw his old room knowing that it hasn't changed in six months. It felt that his life has changed since he now became a fighting machine.

Mega Man NG: "So many things I missed... so little time. I don't know why but I feel that this time, I want to make my second chance worth it."

Dr. Light: "I know. That's why I created you. I didn't know how you came back but I have faith that you can make your father proud."

Mega Man NG: "I know, Grandpa but what I'm worried about is that what will Dr. Wily do now? Will he strike again?"

Dr. Light: "He will do whatever it takes to stop you but you are here to stop him. The only thing that's missing is that you need to blend in with the human race. We should get to work on that."

Mega Man NG: "Right, grandpa. It's good to be back as a human again... or should I say humanoid."

Dr. Light: "Humanoid? I think I kind of like that new name. From now on, you are a humanoid; half-human and half-robot."

As Dr. Light and Mega Man NG leave the room, many things have changed. With a new hero arriving to save the day and a villain that threatens the world, its the beginning of a new adventure. Fortunately for Mega Man NG, his life reborn is a new beginning for him and battling against Dr. Wily is an adventure that he will look forward to. The most important thing that matters is that he will encounter many new friends, evil enemies, and clues that would lead to his true destiny. One thing is for sure that this adventure will push him to his limit and its limit will be beyond what anyone will expect.

On the next Mega Man: New Generation
Mega Man NG experiences life as a human after a six-month hiatus. But that becomes short-lived when one of Dr. Wily's robot masters attack a village far from New Light City. With the situation grim and dire, can Mega Man NG handle his first time living as a human and dealing with the likes of a "cutting edge" robot? Find out on the next chapter of Mega Man: New Generation... The Cutting Edge.

Finally, you came back!! :D Awesome story!! I'm not sure why you deleted your fics before, they are cool!

EDIT: One thing you might what to do is have good spacing, cause it could be painful to tried and find a certian place, and It'll probably be good to separate the chapters into 2 parts, because they are pretty lengthy (in a good way).

Anyway, good story, and don't one or two little flames burn you out. :]

I've got to say this about your story. It was one of the most interesting ones that I've ever read and stumbled upon. I mean, fusing the elements from the original series and the Exe series. I mean, battlechips while Robot Masters reeking havoc at a city? Now that proves to be something very interesting. I can't wait to see what you would come up with next. Roll falling in love with MegaMan? That I would like to see. In any case, you should keep on going. I would like to see what you could do with this story. Well, later!

Alright everyone... here's Chapter 1-2: The Cutting Edge.

Chapter 1-2: The Cutting Edge
Three days since passed since Mega Man NG had his first battle against Dr. Wily and his band of robot masters. New Light City has been experiencing attacks by the hands of Dr. Wily and his robot masters so Mega Man NG had to get out of there and stop him from causing havoc. If that wasn't bad enough, Bass gave him a challenge that was worthwhile and every time Mega Man NG went up against him, it was if he was risking his own life. If he thinks that is painful enough, he has to deal with the absurdities of school in which he has to handle that as a human being. Fortunately, Dr. Light has supplied him with what he needs to handle the situation.

Dr. Light: "Here, Mega. I upgraded your robotic system with a bracelet that allows you to transform into your human self. Press the red button and you will transform into your human self. At anytime trouble ensues, you can press the blue buttion and you can return back to your robotic self in mere seconds."

Mega Man NG: "Awesome job, grandpa. You really are the best when it comes to this stuff but for now I'm late for school so I got to go. I'm supposed to meet with Daniel at the bus stop."

Mega Man NG pressed the red button in the bracelet and he immediately transformed into his human self. A good alter ego that would be necessary but it was important if he was to accomplish in his studies. He then grabbed his books, a granola bar and went off to meet with Daniel at the bus stop.

Rock: "Who would have figured this human alter-ego would make me stronger. I got to thank my grandpa for this big time now. Hey, there's Daniel!"

Daniel was waiting at the bus stop for Rock hoping so that the two of them would go to school together. Ever since his human friend died, Daniel became more involved in his grandfather's work hoping that there would be hope in the world. Fortunately, with Mega Man NG there has been hope. As Rock arrives on scene with plenty of energy, Daniel was pleaased to see him again with great delight.

Daniel: "Rock, its great to see you again. No wonder the six months that passed really was a life-changer. I thought for certain that you never came back alive."

Rock: "Don't worry about it, Daniel. At least now I don't have to worry about idiotic robots that threaten other people's lives."

Daniel: "I agree. You got to be aware of Wily because he'll be after you more than ever in hopes to destroy you dude."

Rock: "Sure. But now all I want to do is study, k?"

Daniel: "Sure, whatever."

As Rock read some textbook while the bus began moving, the two of them relax on the bus as they head off to New Light High School. Unfortunately, Dr. Wily has a plan to crush Mega Man NG and he would make sure to get the job done no matter what it takes. By his side, Bass watches to see what Wily plans to do next. Ever since Mega Man NG appeared, his desire to battle with him is a greater urge than killing him.

Dr. Wily: "This robot is so different than the others that Dr. Light has developed. It was as if a human soul has been mixed in the development. What has he put in this robot that is somewhat different. I just don't know!"

Bass: "Calm down, Wily. You don't want to bust a blood vessel over this new type humanoid. Remember, you still have a plan in which in needs to be put in effect isn't it? We'll worry about Mega Man NG later."

Dr. Wily: "Yes, you are right Bass. Anyway, we need a new base of operations because our old fortress is falling apart. We must find a new location for its the only way we can plan our operation to destroy that mega dweeb."

Bass: "Well, we need a new base that's for sure and another plan in which I can get rid of that humanoid once and for all!"

Dr. Wily: "Calm yourself, Bass. Soon enough, you will get your revenge but for the time being, here's what I want you to do."

As Bass began hearing some of Dr. Wily's plans, he had a good intention that he will get his hands on Mega Man NG yet again. Meanwhile, at New Light High everyone was surprised to see Rock returned after a six-month hiatus. Everyone had thought that they had seen a ghost which is no wonder things were so empty.

Rock: "This is freaking me out here. Let's get to class, Daniel."

Daniel: "I agree with you. This is already freaking me out as it is."

Rock and Daniel head to class and dodged the scary escapade. Once they got in the classroom, they took a sigh of relief dodging that unbelievable predicament. The teacher came in and immediately started the lesson which gave them a scare. Nothing than having to deal with the likes of Dr.Wily though.

Rock: "That was an absolute scare, ya know that?"

Daniel: "Definitely. No wonder why I dislike getting this kind of stuff occured to me."

Rock: "Yeah."

Meanwhile, Wily has been undergoing construction at another part of the world. Turns out his new base is at an abandoned island and all his robot masters are doing their best to obtain as much space as possible so that Dr. Wily can develop his new base of operations.

Dr. Wily: "Excellent my faithful robots. Soon enough this island will be my new headquarters. With it, I can use it to concoct my most wiliest plans and one of them is to destroy that blue dweeb, Mega Man NG."

Bass: "With it, we'll be able to launch surprise attacks whenever we wish. We should make this a moving island, Doctor."

Dr. Wily: "Not necessary. If it was a moving island, people would be suspicious. For our safety, it is the best we have our island stay as it is. Alright, my robot masters continue with developing our new base. Bass, you bring CutMan, BeastMan, and Enker for an assignment I have planned for you."

Bass: "What's that Dr. Wily?"

Dr. Wily: "There's a village nearby from New Light City. I want you to cause havoc as part of a training exercise you may need. Besides, you robots these days are slacking off and all you do is play video games and nap. Now, hurry up and head off to your training."

Bass: "If you insist, Dr. Wily. CutMan, BeastMan, Enker... let's go. Wily wants us to do a training exercise at a nearby village. Time to cause some havoc!

BeastMan: "Awesome! Time for an exercise. I'm bored cutting through these trees anyway."

CutMan: "Finally! I can have some fun for a change! Time to cut some stuff down to size!"

Enker: "Calm down, CutMan. You should follow Bass's orders you know? He's commanding this operation."

Bass: "Enker, you got a point. Let's go already!"

As Bass and a group of robots head off to a remote village for a little training exercise and some havoc, Rock and Daniel were finished with school and immediately got out of the unexpected situation. Forunately, they reached outside the city and that was when they let out a major sigh of relief.

Rock: "Dang, having to deal with that weird crowd gave me the willies ya know?"

Daniel: "You said it! I don't know what else will come along at this day."

Rock: "Well, it can't get any worse than this right?"

That was when a beeping noise came from his wristwatch and Rock checked it out. He pressed the button and it was his grandfather with some important news.

Rock: "Grandpa, what's the problem?"

Dr. Light: "Rock, Dr. Wily is on the move yet again and he has sent out his robots to attack a village far away from the city. You must get to there and stop them."

Rock: "I'm on it, Grandpa. I'll take care of them personally."

Daniel: "Let me guess, Rock. Dr. Wily's robots are out causing havoc?"

Rock: "I'd knew you would say something like that."

Rock presses the blue button on his wristwatch and he immediately undergoes a transformation. First, pieces of his leg armor are placed on his legs and feet. After they are placed together, his arms were next as pieces of his hand gloves came together which then his fists immediately closed. His emblem appeared in the center of his chest and then a bath of light immediately engulfed it. Pieces of his armor appeared and then began to connect together like a jigsaw puzzle. Once the front part of his armor was complete, the rear section of the armor was then formed and all that was left was his helmet. His emblem appeared again in the left and right side of his helmet and then his helmet was formed. With everything set, his transformation was complete.

Mega Man NG: "Grandpa, I need a ride to get to the village before Bass and his robots cause some serious heck."

Dr. Light: "I have just the thing. Transferring now."

Mega Man NG: "Huh?"

That was when a beam of light came from his wristwatch and some sort of vehicle came out in the process. Rock sees it and he begins to love what Dr. Light has given him. Revealing to be some sort of skycycle, he checks out some of the specifications that the cycle contains.

Dr. Light: "This is the NG-Skycycle, Mega Man. The most advanced vehicle I've ever developed equipped with all the latest modifications available. You'll be able to reach the village in the fastest of timing."

Mega Man NG: "Thanks, Grandpa. Daniel, head to my place until I get back. I don't want anything to happen to you okay?"

Daniel: "Right, Rock."

Mega Man NG: "Alright, let's see what this thing can do."

Mega Man NG activates his skycycle and sets it up to hit the skies. Hoping to be able to reach the village, he sets the skycycle speed to high in hopes to reach it. Meanwhile, Bass and his band of robot masters are causing havoc at a village far from New Light and their destruction was never better.

CutMan: "This is so much fun, Bass. I would have suspected that this training exercise would definitely be great for our robotic bodies."

Enker: "I agree. What could possibly go wrong?"

Mega Man NG: "Maybe... me!"

Mega Man NG arrived blasting away stopping the robot masters in their tracks. He then immediately jumped high into the air and was ready to kick butt. He then looked around and saw the village in major turmoil. Reacting quickly, Mega Man NG went for the offensive and was ready to kick butt.

Bass: "Well, well... if it isn't that goody two-shoes good guy, Mega Man NG. What brings you here?"

Mega Man NG: "I'm here to stop you, that's what I'm here."

Bass: "Is that right, eh? Well, my buddies here will take care of you especially this fellow."

That was when CutMan took two steps forward and smiled with an evil look. Mega Man NG stood his ground and was ready for battle. Cutman was a robot master that had a orange-red head, red chest, white legs and a giant "C" in the middle.

CutMan: "I'm gonna look forward to slicing your sorry body into two."

Mega Man NG: "Not gonna happen. AIr Hockey, battlechip in!"

Mega Man NG brought a large hockey puck to slide with and that was when he used it to glide through the ground and gain an advantage. CutMan jumped the Air Hockey attack and countered with his signature attack, the Rolling Cutter. By throwing his cutting weapon, Mega Man NG had to move quickly to counterattack and retaliate with an attack of his own.

Mega Man NG: "Better send the attack back to CutMan! Guard1, battlechip in!"

The Guard1 was activated and the Air Hockey was immediately repelled to the other side and Mega Man NG immediately gained a higher speed boost ready to kick some robot master butt.

Mega Man NG: "Time for a double dose of pain. LongSword, GaiaHammer, battlechips in!"

Mega Man NG's hands turned into a LongSword and a GaiaHammer ready to unleash some pain. NG jumped high into the air and used the GaiaHammer to smack the Air Hockey puck to unleash some major strength to CutMan. CutMan immediately got slammed by the Air Hockey puck but he countered with a move of his own by expanding his cutting item.

CutMan: "Time for you to experience the third degree of pain. Giant Cutter!"

Mega Man NG's eyes open wide as CutMan's Rolling Cutter became gigantic and that was when CutMan threw it like a giant boomerang. With time against him, things weren't going in his favor as he needed to come up with a counterattack to not only repel CutMan's attack but retaliate with an attack of his own.

Mega Man NG: "CutMan really does know when to bring out the big guns. Hmmm, I have the perfect weapon for it. BreakHammer, battlechip in!"

His LongSword was then replaced with a BreakHammer knowing that he has the weapon needed to send CutMan packing. He then ran with everything he had and smacked the Giant Cutter with the BreakHammer and smashed it flat. Bass was shocked to see Mega Man NG have the plan needed to take him down.

Bass: "Oh hell no! This guy has the power to take anyone down. Time for me to step in!"

Enker: "Relax, Bass. CutMan has a plan at least to take that humanoid down."

Bass: "The sooner, the better. I have this urge that wants me to kill this fool."

Enker: "You need to learn to control that urge, dude."

Bass: "I know dude... I know."

CutMan looked at the crushed Giant Hammer and CutMan was angry as heck seeing a move such as this. That was when CutMan decided to make some clones of himself to make the battle a little more interesting.

Mega Man NG: "I so hate clones... especially if the clones remind me of a certain robot master."

CutMan: "Let's see you beat me now that there is more than one of me."

Mega Man NG: "I seriously hate clones. I'm gonna have to slice every one of you including your clones."

CutMan: I like to see you try, mega jerk."

Mega Man NG: "Don't say I didn't warn you. Katana, double battlechip in!"

Both of Mega Man NG's arms turned into Katana swords and the clones unleash some major heck at Mega Man NG. Mega Man NG ran with everything he had and he began taking out the CutMan clones one by one. Bass was witnessing annihilation in the making as Mega Man NG's full potential was unleashed. One by one the CutMan clones were taken down thanks to Mega Man NG's strength and use of the Katana blades.

Bass: "Oh no way! This boy has gotta be kidding me with this skill. He figures out a way to beat CutMan and he decides to show off his skill at the same time."

Enker: "Wow. Mega Man NG really does have the strength to beat CutMan after all."

Bass: "Oh how I so want to beat the hell out of this humanoid."

When all the CutMan clones were done for, only the original remained and the robot master was as scared as heck when he saw Mega Man NG's unparallel strength. Mega Man NG looked straight at CutMan and he immediately launched one final attack to put an end to him once and for all.

CutMan: "How... how can this be? My clones are known to be invincible!"

Mega Man NG: "Not to me because I knew every move you had in your memory circuits. You were so predictable with the same kind of moves that I had a perfect counterattack ready to take you out."

CutMan: "No... no way. How can he beat me?"

Mega Man NG: "It's time for me to put an end to this once and for all. FastGauge, CustomSword, StepSword battlechips in!"

Mega Man NG's katana blades were retrogressed back to hands and then, his right hand turned into a CustomSword blade and with the HeavyGauge activated, the CustomSword acquired more power and strength. Then, he immediately dashed fast as hell and the next minute, Mega Man NG reappeared on the other side. As for CutMan however, he was reduced to ashes with just one strike and that was when he looked at the other robot masters and had a strong expression within them.

Mega Man NG: "Anyone else wants a piece of me?"

Bass: "I'll pass. Even though I have this mad obsession for killing you but I'm not taking that risk. We'll meet again, blue boy."

Bass and the other robot masters got away and Mega Man NG let out a sigh of relief. Looking at his body, he feels great that this new kind of power makes him stronger inside and out. After taking the NG-Skycycle home, he returned to see his grandfather and it seemed that he was a little upset that he took longer than anticipated.

Dr. Light: "Where were you, Rock? You are 10 minutes late."

Rock: "Grandpa, I had to deal with Dr. Wily's robots. I didn't know I took longer than expected."

Dr. Light: "It's alright. You are late for dinner so get inside and chow down."

Rock: "Yes, grandpa."

As Rock got inside to eat dinner, everything was gonna go great. But, unfortunately Dr. Wily has a plan of his own and that plan wasn't gonna be as easy as it sounds especially since CutMan was reduced to shreds in one strike thanks to Mega Man NG.

Dr. Wily: "Alright, my robot master. You have an assignment. You will go into the lab of Dr. Light and find me any information regarding his so-called "ultimate weapon". Once you find the plans, download the information and return it to me. Do you get it, GutsMan?"

GutsMan: "Yes, Dr. Wily. I will find the plans and obtain what I can find."

Dr. Wily: "Excellent. You must not fail me, GutsMan. I must find a weakness to the "ultimate weapon" of his and try to destroy it. And soon, the world will bow down to my ultimate weapon!"

As Dr. Wily begins his laughter of doom, it was clear that he had a plan for destroying the designs and strategical information for the ultimate weapon but little did he noticed that Bass was hearing everything that Dr. Wily has planned to do.

Bass: "We'll see about that Wily. We'll see indeed."

On the next Mega Man: New Generation
A robot from Dr. Wily's lab comes to Dr. Light's home in search of the valuable "ultimate weapon" data. But, when Mega Man NG encounters him it turns out to be GutsMan, a robot from his human past. Seeing that GutsMan now plans to destroy, Mega helps him try to remember but GutsMan's memories start to come back. Can Mega Man NG save the friend he once cared for and unlock a hidden power from within? Find out in the next exciting chapter of Mega Man: New Generation, A Gutsy Friendship.

I'm really pleased that you like it. Now, without further ado... Chapter 3 of Mega Man: New Generation... A Gutsy Friendship.

Chapter 1-3: A Gutsy Friendship
The next day has occured too soon with after everything that has happened including his swift battle against CutMan. Rock was cleaning up his house after his grandpa went off to work so he was given the assignment to clean up the house and hope nothing would happen while his grandpa is gone. Daniel came over in hopes to help prepare for an upcoming exam the two of them have to take but little do they realize that evil will lurk and when it does, it will strike with everything it has.

Rock: "Hey Daniel, the hot pockets are ready."

Daniel: "Awesome. Oh how I so love those Hot Pockets... I would always buy them every day."

Rock: "You so have obsessions dude."

Daniel: "What about you? I don't see you with the obsession of beating Dr. Wily's robot masters all the time."

Rock: "Big deal. At least I get the job done faster than I do my homework."

Daniel: "I'd knew you would say that since you have been slacking in school."

Rock: "I have. It's been a big problem because I haven't gotten a lot of sleep."

Daniel: "How many hours did you get anyway?"

Rock: "6-7 hours of sleep."

Daniel: "Rock, I'm your best friend and all as far as that is concerned, your sleeping is important."

Rock: "How can I if Dr. Wily continues to attack the city now and then? That's what being a hero is all about. You have responsibilities."

Daniel: "Have you been watching too many hero movies?"

Rock: "I have been watching Spider-Man for the past few days. No problem there."

Daniel: "And every day during lunch, you are always reading comic books. I didn't know you had them."

Rock: "There in my room upstairs. When I had a human life, I collected lots of comic books featuring some of my favorite superheroes."

Daniel: "I have a good guess as to some of them such as Iron Man, The Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, and The Punisher."

Rock: "Don't forget Captain America and the Avengers. My dad had a huge stack of comic books and he made sure every issue that he collected would be in mint condition and that only a few would get their hands on them."

Daniel: "Whatever happened to your dad?"

Rock: "My dad was currently working on some project called Project Soul Unison which to the entire world was considered classified. My dad spent workless hours and sleepless nights trying to complete the project. I've been hearing when I was young that this project has something to do with the new generation of robots that look like humans and contain all human aspects."

Daniel: "You mean humanoids?"

Rock: "Yeah. How come I'm a humanoid. It's been six months, one week, and two days since the horrific day and now, I kind of felt bad that I didn't do anything about it. But, either way I had a job to do. Now that I'm reborn and more powerful than ever, I have the potential to put an end to Dr. Wily's reign of terror and bring a utopia for all humans and robots."

Daniel: "No wonder I like you as a friend. You are determined to get it done no matter what it takes. My grandpa dedicated his research to helping robots and humans co-exist peacefully along with Dr. Light. They say if they succeed, it would bring a new era of the peace to the entire world."

Rock: "I know. But that won't happen while evil is still around like Dr. Wily. Ever since I came into re-existence, he's been sending every robot moment he's got to kill me but I'm not letting my guard down no more because its time to fight. In the meantime, I should eat... I'm hungry."

Daniel: "Same here. We still have to study for a report we are gonna do next week ya know that?"

Rock: "Yeah. It's about the early stages of technology."

Daniel: "Didn't that happen when your grandpa was a kid?"

Rock: "Yes, of course. I still have some old photos in my room. Wait here."

As Rock went upstairs, a robotic figure of huge size and weight appeared but hoping to not cause any havoc, he had to find a way to get to the household of Dr. Light without getting detected. He looked up and saw a shadow moving quickly because of a search for a certain item.

GutsMan: "Hmmm... must find way inside. Must complete mission for Dr. Wily. Must not fail."

GutsMan then looked around and saw an entrance leading to the lower levels of the Light household. He saw two wooden doors leading to the basement. He then smacked it and continued on his way destined to obtain what he is desired. Meanwhile, Rock went upstairs and heard the unexpected noise. He looked out the window and saw the doors leading to the basement smacked by some unknown force. That was when Rock immediately went downstairs and informed Daniel of the bad news.

Rock: "Daniel, looks like we got an intruder."

Daniel: "How do you know, Rock?"

Rock: "The intruder broke through the basement doors, and now he's entering through the basement. I think I know what he is after."

Rock pressed the button and he transformed into Mega Man NG. Although Mega Man NG heads down to the basement to confront the intruder, he is certain to get the intruder and take him down. As he heads towards the basement, GutsMan was walking down the stairs in hopes of finding Dr. Wily's lab.

GutsMan: "GutsMan must find secret lab plans. GutsMan must try to obtain blueprints."

GutsMan then passes through a door and that was when he saw Dr. Light's laboratory and he was pleased now that he had finally made it to the lab. Now all he needed to do is find the documents that contain the "ultimate weapon" battle plans. That was when Mega Man NG appeared and he instantle armed himself with a battlechip weapon and he was immediately went off for battle.

Mega Man NG: "Hold it right there! LongSword, battlechip in!"

His right arm turned into a LongSword and he immediately struck the intruder with everything he had. GutsMan blcoked the LongSword strike with his own hand. That was when GutsMan's hand expanded and he gave NG a smack to the chest. It sent him at a speed of 40 mph straight through a wall seriously hitting him hard due to GutsMan's raw strength and power.

GutsMan: "GutsMan must not let enemy foe get in my way. Must crush all who stand in way of completing mission."

Mega Man NG: "Dang. This guy really does pack a punch ya know? Okay, he wants to pack a punch on me so I'll do the same. Prism, battlechip in!"

Mega Man NG then threw a Prism high into the air and he immediately got himself ready for a second strike and the second attack wasn't as better than the first.

Mega Man NG: "Time to finish things off. Spreader, triple battlechip in!"

He held both his arms high into the air and a glorious light was shown. The light was known to be as a Program Advance, a kind of mysterious and rare power that is used by combining various battlechips together in either a combination or sequence. When the light dissipated, Mega Man NG revealed his new weapon which was of immediate use that would immediately kick some sorry butt.

Mega Man NG: "Eat this! Prism plus my new weapon equals total oblivion. Hyper Burst, fire!

Mega Man NG fired a single shot of the Hyper Burst and once it immediately hit the prism, it then unleashed a volley of bright lights that aimed straight for GutsMan and he immediately was struck hard and nasty. When the Hyper Burst Prism combination finished, Mega Man NG went to check on the intruder but little did he suspected that the enemy he attacked turns out to be someone he once knew.

Mega Man NG: "Now its time to see who he really is."

He took one good look at him and it turned out to be an old friend of his. He was shocked to see GutsMan again but it was somewhat more different, stronger and modified somehow.

Mega Man NG: "I shouldn't have known it would be him. Why? It can't be. I thought my grandpa told me that he threw him out. Why did you lie to me?"

He then turned GutsMan around and he immediately began scanning him in hopes of finding some answers. What he was gonna find was something very unexpected and even worse, it took place when he was human and very young.

Mega Man NG: "What? These upgrades mean that my grandfather didn't threw him out when I was younger as a human, but he was kidnapped by none other than one scientist... Dr. Albert Wily. According to these upgrades, he had been reprogrammed to become a weapon of destruction... well, that's all gonna change. Maybe, if I can reprogram him a bit here and there... I can terminate his destruction purposes and reprogram it for the side of good. Let's see if I can do it."

As Mega Man NG began modifying GutsMan in hopes he can be a fighting machine, a BatonTon SpyBat emerged from a hidden corner watching everything that has happened. Without noticing, he has been watched by Dr. Wily and seeing that he failed the mission, decides to take matters into his own hands.

Dr. Wily: "That fool GutsMan has failed. Good work, my SpyBat. Return to the lair with what you've acquired. It's time that we commence our own attack and take out that inconsiderate robot. It's as useless as junk."

Dr. Wily knew that GutsMan had failed the mission so he decides to take matters into his own hands. Taking his special flying ship known as the Skulker, Dr. Wily heads off to New Light City in hopes of finishing the job that GutsMan failed to accomplish. Meanwhile, Mega Man NG fully finishes modifying GutsMan and when it wakes up, it saw the first thing that it appears.

Mega Man NG: "GutsMan... GutsMan is that you?"

GutsMan: "R-Rock? Is that you?"

Mega Man NG: "GutsMan. Oh, I missed you, GutsMan."

GutsMan: "GutsMan miss you too. GutsMan feel horrible."

Mega Man NG: "Let me get you inside. You need some rest after all that struggle."

GutsMan: "Rock right. GutsMan need plenty sleep."

Just when Mega Man NG takes GutsMan to his living room, a powerful explosion was heard and Mega Man NG knows that things are about to get even more unexpected. GutsMan stays behind and hopes to get himself back up to full strength. Mega Man NG checks outside and sees Dr. Wily on some sort of robotic tank. It was armed with various cannons, machine guns as well as its most powerful weapon; a powerful plasma-generated particle cannon. Mega Man NG wasn't expecting something like this to appear but he was certain to take it down no matter what the cost.

Mega Man NG: "So, Wily... you decided to take out the big guns now would you?"

Dr. Wily: "You have something that belongs to me and I think its clear that you are in my way."

Mega Man NG: "Well, whether its fair or not... I believe that you have corrupted this robot. This robot was once my friend until you corrupted him. Now you will pay and I promise you that you won't live to regret it."

Dr. Wily: "It's not me that will be making the regretting. It's you, mega dweeb."

Mega Man NG: "Bring it on, Dr. Wily!"

Dr. Wily: "You shall regret this, you insignificant excuse for a robot. Attention, all robots! Man the turrets and aim for your goal! Take out that blue dweeb, Mega Man NG!!!"

That was when every robot master began taking up specific spots on the giant tank and they all have strong emotions in taking down Mega Man NG especially some of them who have a desire for kicking butt.

CutMan: "This is gonna be fun."

ElecMan: "If this won't blast him out of the sky, nothing will."

IceMan: "I'm gonna definitely kick some butt for sure."

FireMan: "You'd better relax IceMan or you will end up being melted by that blue spark."

IceMan: "Grow up, FireMan. I don't see you take a crack at the blue icicle."

Enker: "That's because FireMan trains all day in a volcano perfecting his technique."

BombMan: "Yeah, he's got an explosive attitude when it comes to wanting to take down Mega Man NG."

FireMan: "That's right. I've been working on a technique that can take him out in one strike. I just hope I get the chance to use it in case Mega Man crosses paths with me."

Dr. Wily: "You robots stop your jibber-jabber. Prepare to fire on my command."

Robot Masters: "Roger Dr. Wily."

Dr. Wily: "It's time we put an end to this blue dweeb once and for all. Attention, all cannons... target that mega wimp and destroy him!"

Robot Masters: "Yes, sir."

Mega Man NG: "This is so gonna be fun."

Enker: "Target sighted, Dr. Wily."

Mega Man NG: "Prepare for some serious tank thrashing."

Dr. Wily: "All guns, target locked... ready..."

Mega Man NG was staying still and hoping to make the right plan but one thing was for certain, only one would make the first move and that move would determine the outcome of this showdown.

Dr. Wily: "Aim... all cannons, fire at will!"

Mega Man NG: "Prepare for this tank to get trashed into the junkyard.
Area Steal, VariableSword, ElementalSand battlechips in!"

Mega Man immediately was moving as fast as light and he immediately was nowhere to be found. Dr. Wily was checking the radar to find where Mega Man NG would be but unfortunately, he would appear in the last place he would show... right behind Dr. Wily's machine tank.

Mega Man NG: "Time to slow it down, ElementalSand!"

He fired multiple shots of sand blasts to slow down the tank and prevent it from moving at all. Hoping to slow down, he was able to fire several shots and then moving on to the other side in which he fired more shots of ElementalSand. Wily began moving the tank and that was when he couldn't due to the fact that the sand was causing him to stay still.

Dr. Wily: "What is happening? This tank isn't moving at all."

Mega Man NG: "Maybe because there is sand on the ground and you are having a hard time trying to move. Well, bad enough for you that you are the bigger pain that I anticipated."

Dr. Wily: "What?"

CutMan: "No way."

ElecMan: "No wonder we can't move."

IceMan: "This blue ice shard is asking for it."

BombMan: "I can't wait to get my hands on this dweeb."

FireMan: "Bad enough I'm gonna incinerate him."

Enker: "I'm sick of this. Let's get him now."

Dr. Wily: "Enough you no-good bunch of fools. Let me get the tank to turn around."

Mega Man NG: "Too bad it won't happen. AirStorm, Tsunami battlechips in! Let's go for a spin."

That was when Mega Man NG went for a spin unleashing a powerful wave of water making the sand hard and preventing Wily's tank from moving at all. Also, Wily's tank began to rust in which it made it easier to destroy.

Dr. Wily: "The tank is starting to rust."

Mega Man NG: "This makes things so much easier ya know."

That was when GutsMan gave the tank a powerful punch and it made things a little more difficult than normal. Dr. Wily checks out the surroundings and sees GutsMan smacking the tank realizing that Mega Man NG has finished modifying him.

Mega Man NG: "Alright! Looks like I ain't the only one kicking Wily's butt today."

GutsMan: "Dr. Wily, villain. Must crush Wily. Must destroy him!"

Dr. Wily: "What is this? It's GutsMan."

CutMan: "No way."

ElecMan: "Impossible."

BombMan: "Has he cracked up?"

FireMan: "I don't think he really is cracked up. It's that the blue flame decides to make him a good guy."

IceMan: "What do we do, Wily?"

Dr. Wily: "Well, what do you want to know? Destroy that traitor!"

Robot Masters: "Yes, Dr. Wily!"

All their weapons have their aim for GutsMan which made Mega Man NG's heart react like crazy. He only had a few seconds to counterattack before GutsMan ends up blasted out of the sky by Wily's machine tank.

Dr. Wily: "Fire! Blast that robot into shreds. And once he is no more, I'll make an even stronger GutsMan with no memory whatsoever involving that blue brat!"

GutsMan: "GutsMan scared."

Mega Man NG: "You won't be scared any longer. LifeAura, battlechip in!"

A LifeAura was formed protecting Mega Man NG and GutsMan from the cannon fire that was unleashed by the wrath of Dr. Wily. When it ended, GutsMan and Mega Man NG appeared without a scratch and everyone was shocked.

GutsMan: "GutsMan thanks you Mega."

Mega Man NG: "No problem."

But just when things got safe, GutsMan gets hit with a cannon blast and then he ends up on the ground. When NG looked, it was Bass who shot him as he had a cruel, lifeless smile which resembles his merciless attitude. Mega Man NG immediately went to his aid and realized that GutsMan was hit hard.

Mega Man NG: "GutsMan! GutsMan, are you alright?"

GutsMan: "GutsMan not alright. GutsMan no longer living."

Mega Man NG: "Please, GutsMan. Stay alive... my grandpa will save you. I promise he will."

Bass: "Your grandpa can't do a thing. I blasted him so that there won't be a chance your friend will come back."

GutsMan: "Don't listen to him. GutsMan have... something... for you."

Mega Man NG: "Huh?"

GutsMan: "Take... this. GutsMan give... Soul Essence... to... Mega Man. Use... my power... to defeat... Wily. Your father would be proud of you. Now... use it and... defeat Dr. Wily."

Mega Man NG: "I will... GutsMan... my friend."

GutsMan then opens the emblem on his chest to reveal a glowing orb. The orb contained GutsMan's Soul Essence and Mega immediately grabbed it. WIth it, he was enveloped in an aura of light as he underwent a transformation like no other. His normal body changed colors and that was when his fists changed colors from blue to yellow. His feet also changed as well and then his chest also changed but the emblem stayed the same. His helmet gained a re-designed look as it holded GutsMan's own strength. The back was with two circulated small poles and then a turn around immediately went towards to his target.

Mega Man NG: Soul Unison Guts Soul!!

Dr. Wily: "I have never seen this type of thing before."

Bass: "Soul Unison? I've heard it somewhere before."

Mega Man NG: "That's right. This technique was part of Project Soul Unison done by my father, Dr. Richard Lucas Light."

Bass: "I knew that project came from somewhere."

Dr. Wily: "I've heard of him. That is Dr. Light's son who was a prized scientist in robotics. He was an old friend of mine that I knew when he was a child. He was very energetic, very active and determined to get the job done just like his father."

IceMan: "What's the deal with this, Wily?"

Bass: "Dr. Lightmust have added the Soul Unison project to Mega Man. Now this gives me an even more reason to destroy him."

Mega Man NG: "Is that right? Too bad for you that's gonna have to wait. Guts Machinegun!"

Mega Man NG fires several machine gun shots hitting Bass hard and then he went to the ground. That was when he focused his attention on the robotic tank. He knew he had every reason to take it down and unleashing his strongest attacks would be better than nothing.

Mega Man NG: "I'm gonna end this once and for all with a Program Advance. StepSword, HeroSword, StepCross battlechips in! Evil Cut!"

Mega Man NG's Hero Sword began to charge with electricity as he dashed straight for his target. With one immediate strike, all of Dr. Wily's weapons on the robotic tank was sliced off effortlessly. That was when he turned around and was ready for the final blow.

Mega Man NG: "Alright. Time to finish this."

Dr. Wily: "All robots, abandon the tank. Retreat!"

Mega Man NG: "There won't be retreating for you this time. Rocket Guts Punch!"

His Rocket Guts Punch immediately struck the backside of the tank causing small explosions to occur in the tank. Unbelievably, all of the robot masters immediately escaped including Dr. Wily. However, Bass wasn't pleased of what he was seeing and anger began to develop within him as the tank exploded with a bang.

Bass: "This isn't over yet, mega dweeb. I will defeat you, with or without your Soul Unison powers. That will be a promise."

Mega Man NG: "I'll be ready anytime you are. I promise you with Gutsman's strength, you will crumble!"

Dr. Wily and his robot masters immediately went off running knowing that they have been beat. As for Mega Man NG, he took a sigh of relief as he de-unisoned and saw that GutsMan made a mess of things. When Dr. Light appeared and knew what happened today, he knew that he had something to tell Rock.

Dr. Light: "Rock, your father was someone that dedicated his life to doing the impossible. He developed the Soul Unison project in hopes of bringing a utopia of peace and tranquility within humans. I knew that eventually I would put the project within you."

Rock: "I know. I miss him very much. I wish I can see his grave again so I can say my thanks."

Dr. Light: "You don't have to worry. He's with you in spirit so you don't have to worry."

Rock: "Thanks, Grandpa. I really needed that."

Dr. Light: "I've modified the Automated Battlechip Terminal... you can now use Soul Unisons at any time but once you acquired a Soul Essence, it'll automatically create a Navi Chip that allows you to do Soul Unison. In the case of GutsMan, Soul Unison Guts Soul allows you to increase your power by unleashing either Guts Machinegun or Rocket Guts Punch."

Rock: "Those two techniques will help me especially since Guts Soul increased my strength substainally but I know Wily will try to stop me more than ever as well as Bass. He's more determined to defeat me but I won't let that happen."

Dr. Light: "Your father would be very proud of you. I'm having repair robots taking care of the household. You should get some sleep because tomorrow is another day."

Rock: "Sure, good night Grandpa."

As Rock went upstairs to get some sleep, a day has already come to an end. One thing was for certain that the battles were gonna be harder and the trials were gonna be tougher. One thing was for certain that only one side would gain victory and the only thing that matters is the battles ahead.

On the next Mega Man: New Generation
The city of New Light is undergoing electrical issues as it began experiencing power outages throughout the area. Mega Man NG checks it out but discovers Dr. Wily's plan to control the city using the power of electricity. If that wasn't bad enough, ElecMan gives Mega Man NG a crash course in battling robot masters. Can Mega Man NG stop ElecMan and save the city from Dr. Wily's electrifying scheme? Sorry to keep ya waiting. Here's chapter 4 of Mega Man: New Generation.

Chapter 1-4: The Electric Nightmare
Another day comes around in New Light City as life returned to normal after Dr. Wily's failed attack. Rock and Daniel are enjoying a game of tennis as they each gave it their all. Daniel has been seeing Rock slacking off and not getting enough sleep so he decides to help him in hopes that he gets the energy needed to be back into his normal self. After all, Rock is half-human and he shares some of the human qualities and drawbacks including lack of sleep.

Rock: "Come on, Daniel. What are you trying to pull on me man? You haven't been giving your all since we started playing tennis."

Daniel: "Sorry man. I didn't think you would last four hours of tennis. You are no ordinary humanoid, dude."

Rock: "This is why you are helping me become more active. From the looks of things, I should be helping you."

Daniel: "Thanks a lot dude. I really need that, seriously."

Rock: "Anyway, I just hope that the both of us would do alright. We still need to do that report because its due in three days."

Daniel: "I'm well aware of that man."

That was when Rock's watch began beeping knowing that his grandfather has been calling him but unfortunately, it wasn't of any good news at all as Dr. Light had a serious look in his eyes and so did Rock.

Dr. Light: "Rock, there is trouble at the New Light Power Company. You have to head there and see what is happening."

Rock: "My guess is that Dr. Wily has something to do with this. I know it."

Dr. Light: "You must hurry before Wily begins to cause trouble."

Rock: "I'm on my way, Rock out. Daniel, looks like we'll have to postpone our tennis game. Dr. Wily is at it again and this time, he isn't holding back."

Daniel: "I know. Be careful, Rock."

Rock: "I will."

Rock presses the blue button and he immediately transformed into Mega Man NG and with the help of a Dash Attack, he was on his way to the Power Comapny. Hoping to reach there quick, he relied on a Dash fishy in hopes of reaching his destination.

Mega Man NG: "Looks like someone broke into the Power Station. Better switch to stealth mode. Stealth, battlechip in!"

Mega Man NG vanished with the use of the Stealth battlechip and he instantly went inside without being detected. So far, Dr. Wily's robot masters including Bass have entered the Power Company and tied up most of the employees and guards. With Wily's ship hovering over the main area, Bass was given some instructions on what was needed for their mission.

Bass: "The guards have been taken care of, Dr. Wily."

Dr. Wily: "Excellent. Soon it will only be a matter of time before my plan of conquering the world will come to fruition."

Bass: "What shall we do, Dr. Wily?"

Dr. Wily: "I want you to attach this override relay control adapter to the master control computer. Once we have it connected, I'll have access to all the electricity and soon, the people will beg me to be their leader."

Bass: "As you wish, Doctor. This guy really does have a plan after all."

As Bass takes the relay control adapter to the master control computer of the Power Company, Mega Man NG sees the action unfold as he decides to do something about it. Jumping high into the air, he fires a few buster shots at Bass preventing him from reaching the master control console.

Mega Man NG: "Sorry, Bass... but you aren't controlling my electric bill today."

Bass: "It's that mega wimp. What's he doing here?"

Mega Man NG: "What do you think I'm doing,,, ruining your plans, that's what."

Bass: "Oh, its on now. Forget this job, Wily. Mega Man NG is more than enough of a job for me."

Mega Man NG: "Is that right? Maybe your friend wants a piece of me?"

Bass: "Who? ElecMan? Ha, I doubt it."

ElecMan came and took a few spaces forward unleashing a barrage of lightning bolts. Moving quickly, Mega Man immediately got out of harm's way and into the main area where the field is now a fair zone for battle.

Mega Man NG: "So, ElecMan... decided to juice up things huh?"

ElecMan: "Very funny, mega jerk. I didn't come here for chit chat. I came here to fight... are you are the top of my list."

Mega Man NG: "Too bad. It's gonna be a shame having to kick your butt."

ElecMan: "Bring it on. I'm so looking forward to giving you a shock to your systems. Soon enough, you'll experience a system crash."

Mega Man NG: "Why don't we find out? Let's get started! WideSword, battlechip in!"

ElecMan: "You better not underestimate me because I'm gonna so give you a jolt."

Mega Man NG: "We'll see about that. Let's do this!"

ElecMan: "Lightning Blast!"

ElecMan fires a powerful blast of lightning that cause Mega Man NG to be on the move. With only very little time to retaliate, he had to make a move that was fast and quick hoping to strike back with everything he had. He jumped in the air and prepared to unleash a counteroffensive.

Mega Man NG: "Your Lightning Blast is impressive but its time I take things up a notch dude. BambooSword, battlechip in!"

His WideSword was then replaced with a BambooSword and then he was gonna give ElecMan a major spanking but he countered by blocking his attack with some sort of blade coming out of his hand. Hoping to put an end to Mega Man NG, he had a cocky smile and was ready to unleash lightning once again.

ElecMan: "You are impressive, Mega Man NG. Your skills surprise even me but I think it won't be enough to stop me. Let's see you dodge this attack."

ElecMan raised his hands and that was when bolts of lightning appeared and that created a ball of energy which would determined everything. It was gonna be a big thing but unfortunately Mega Man NG had the perfect tactics needed to kick some sorry butt.

ElecMan: "It's time for me to show you just how powerful I can become. Thunder Ball!"

ElecMan unleashes the Thunder Ball but Mega prepares for a serious counteroffensive and he was determined to give it his all big time. Dashing straight for ElecMan, his eyes had a determination that was never seen before.

Mega Man NG: "You really are someone that loves to show off. Too bad I have to finish you off though. Area Steal, GaiaBlade, battlechip in!"

His Bamboo Sword was transformed into some sort of earth-elemental blade that he can take the strength of his previous weapon and increase its power dramatically. He immediately dashed out of sight and then reappeared on the other side. Before ElecMan can react, Mega Man struck him with the GaiaBlade which gave it a serious buttkicking. Dr. Wily wasn't liking what he was seeing so he decided to take matters into his own hands.

Dr. Wily: "This is so stupid. I'll have to attach the override relay myself."

That was when Wily used the stalker's robotic arms to grab the relay controller and attach it to the main central control unit. Mega Man NG saw what happened and decided to do something about it.
Mega Man NG: "Oh no you don't! YoYo, triple battlechip in! Program Advance!"

He jumped high into the air while he triggered a Program Advance that would make springing the competition a whole lot easier. When he was at a good range, he immediately unleashed his power at Wily and the Skulker.

Mega Man NG: "GreatYoYo!!"

Mega Man unleashed the Great YoYo which was composed of a giant YoYo being split into three and it immediately stopped Wily in his tracks. The attack completely scratched the Skulker and stopped it in its tracks. That was when the Skulker separated into a floating form and all the robot masters immediately grabbed on and went off.

Dr. Wily: "You may have won this round but I'll be back... and next time, you won't be so lucky."

AS they went off, Mega Man NG took a sigh of relief and he went back home knowing tha the needed some time off. Meanwhile at Dr. Wily's fortress, the mad scientist wasn't pleased with what has happened especially in ElecMan's recklessness.

Dr. Wily: "How dare you let that blue roach get the best of me. You are nothing but a bunch of useless drones. To make things worse, I couldn't get the relay console into the power grid. Now, how can I get all of the city's electricity under my control."

ElecMan: "Leave that to me, Doctor Wily. I have a plan in which we will take control of all the electricity in the city."

Dr. Wily: "You better hope that this plan works because if it doesn't... I'll be sure you will end up in the junkyard for eternity."

ElecMan: "Don't worry. My plan will be perfect. Course all of this will have to take place at night because its fortunately, the best time because that is when those fools have their guards down. I also placed a spy in the Light household. Soon, Mega will be of no concern to you than a fly on the wall."

Dr. Wily: "Hmmm, interesting. Go on, ElecMan."

As Wily listens to ElecMan's plan for a late night power company takeover, Rock enjoys a relaxing time doing his homework privately and one of Dr. Light's robot servants appeared nearby to check up on Rock.

Robot Servant: "Care for something to eat, sir?"

Rock: "No thanks. The only thing that will drive me nuts is bad breath. But I could use a good cleaning after a dirty battle with Dr. Wily."

As he went into the bathroom, a mysterious stranger locked the bathroom and bolted it tight. He then put a hole through the bathroom door and began pouring out acid inside the bathroom. What Rock won't know won't be any good for him as he is unaware of the situation.

Rock: "I'm a lean, mean butt kicking machine. What the?"

That was when he saw the bathroom being filled up with hydrocloric acid and if that wasn't bad enough, he's trapped like a rock.

Rock: "Oh no! It's hydrocloric acid! I got to get out of here."

Rock banged the door a few times with his fist and that was when he transformed into his alter-ego getting ready to blast his way out. After firing a few shots with his Mega Buster NG to no avail, time was against him.

Mega Man NG: "It's locked from the outside somehow and my grandpa reinforced the entire house with neo-titanium to keep Dr. Wily out after the incident with Wily's robotank. But only now, its keeping me in and if I don't do something fast the acid will not only eat through my neo-titanium skin but it will also eat through the human flesh that's inside. In here, grandpa help!!!"

Dr. Light however was working on a project when he saw the light beginning to fuzz out but unfortunately, what he doesn't know was that Wily has already taken control of the power company and it wasn't a pretty sight. The guards were tied up and it was as quiet as a cave. Bass then fired a plasma shot at a console generator which revealed several electrical lines. He then placed the relay on them and pressed a button which gave Dr. Wily a very pleasing sign.

Dr. Wily: "At long last, I will have everything connected to the power grid of the entire city. Soon, everyone will bow down to me."

One of the guards regained consciousness and then grabbed a pohone and recklessly called 911 but he doesn't realize that Wily also has control of the phone lines as well.

Company Guard: "Hello? We are under attack by Dr. Wily. Send in the army now!"

Dr. Wily: "You are as predictable than I thought you would be... I think you've got the wrong number."

Wily moved the joystick up which caused the telephone to have a mind of its own and immediately ensnares the guard completely making sure the guard wouldn't bother retaliating. With that taken care of, Wily didn't have anything to worry about.

Dr. Wily: "Your plan is doing even better than I expected ElecMan. With everything under my control and Mega Man out of the way... the world is mine!!"

He begins his evil cackling laugh and that would drive many people crazy but Mega Man however is in a problem of his own as the acid has completely consumed the bathroom and time was against him. Hoping to get out of there in just one strike, would have to perform a program advance strong enough to break through the neo-titanium door.

Mega Man NG: "I've only got 30 seconds before my body gets consumed by the acid. There's only one thing left to do... Program Advance! MegaCannon, triple battlechip in!"

With every second he wastes, Mega Man moves quick to unleash his program advance hoping to destroy the door and get out of there without causing any harm. On the other side, Dr. Light was out walking and discovers what he is seeing before him.

Dr. Light: "Now why would anyone bar the outside of my bathroom door? Oh no! Huh?"

Before Dr. Light can do a thing, he gets a call from his grandson saying that he decides to do something about it.

Dr. Light: "What is it?"

Mega Man NG: "Grandpa, get out of the way. I'm gonna blast my way through."

Dr. Light: "What?"

Mega Man NG: "GigaCannon3, fire!"

Firing the GigaCannon, he unleashed a powerful blast of pure energy that broke through the neo-titanium door and severely damaged a wall within Dr. Light's house. Dr. Light was about to throw a serious fit and Mega Man immediately powerede down hoping to not cause another problem.

Rock: "You came in just in time. Even though you tried your best, I had to blast the door after I got trapped in there."

Dr. Light: "Didn't I tell you that you are not allowed to unleash a Program Advance even if you are trapped in space. That cost a lot of money to try to have this entire house reinforced with neo-titanium."

Rock: "Either way... another second or I would have been mega-mush."

Daniel: "Rock, are you okay? What happened?"

Rock: "Someone has been trying to dissolve me."

Dr. Light: "It appears that we have a spy in this household."

Daniel: "Oh swell. The only question is... who?"

That was when some of Dr. Light's robotic servants appeared unaware of what has happened but fortunately, the situation was about to be more under control than anticipated.

Robot Butler: "Can we be of any further assistance, Master Light?"

Dr. Light: "Yes, please clean up this mess."

Robot Maid: "Right away, Master Light."

Rock: "You know... I've got a sneaking suspicion that the butler did it. I know it for certain."

Dr. Light: "There's no time to worry about that right now. Something is coming in over the emergency satellite scanner."

That was when an alarm came by and all three of them went to the laboratory down below and discover that the entire city is in turmoil. A call from a fellow officer has begun to report what has happened.

Cpt. Evans: "Dr. Light, this is Captain Evans of New Light Central Station. The city has been under attack by everything that isn't nailed down. Our police force can't stop it, we need some sort of help now! Help!"

After the communication ended, the three of them knew that it was all Dr. Wily's plot and knowing that he would do such a thing, something needed to be done and quickly.

Rock: "I knew Dr. Wily has something to do with this. I just know it!"
Dr. Light: "Dr. Wily is using the electricity to control everything in the entire city."

Rock: "So that's what he's been doing in the New Light Company Power Plant. What are we gonna do now?"

Dr. Light: "Head to the city and help out the people in danger. I must figure out some way to stop him."

Rock: "Daniel, keep an eye on my grandpa while I help the people in New Light City."

Daniel: "Sure thing. Be careful out there."

Rock: "Right."

As Rock went off to help the city, Daniel notices some unknown figure in the darkness and decides to check it out. He went off to the vehicle hangar and notice somebody putting something into one of the bikes and seeing that it has happened, Daniel heads to find Dr. Light and report what has happened but it was too late as Mega Man NG took the cycle and went off to the city.

Daniel: "Oh no! I'm too late. I've got to warn Dr. Light."

As Daniel went off to warn Dr. Light of the situation, the lights were then shown and they were revealed to be the robot maid shown in the vehicle hangar. If that wasn't bad enough, the robot maid had a very sadistic smile knowing that she had to do whatever she can to get rid of Mega Man NG.

Robot Maid: "You will die, Mega Man."

Meanwhile high above the city, NG was checking out everything from high above and the only thing Mega doesn't know is that a whole slew of events are about to unfold and to make things even more worse, one of them is about to hit him face first.

Mega Man NG: "I'm almost to the city. Huh? What the..."

His NG-Skycycle begins to go on the fritz and it causes him to lose balance unexpectedly but he hoped to regain his balance once he grabbed the bike and regained control yet again. Unbelievably, the cycle begins to gain speed and unbelievably heads toward ground area and to make things worse, it hits the brakes and NG crashes into a pile of trash.

Mega Man NG: "Okay, what was that all about?"

CutMan: "It's about us taking care of you."

Mega Man NG: "Uh oh."

GutsMan: "Alright ya metal meddler. Get ready to join the junk heap."

Mega Man NG: "GutsMan?"

GutsMan: "That's right. I'm reborn, revamped and ready to kick butt. And you are the first on my list."

Mega Man NG: "Wanna bet?"

GutsMan: "Yeah, Guts Punch!"

NG hits up high into the air and then he hits high gear by unleashing a powerful spreader gun blast that attacked CutMan but unbelievably it struck GutsMan and caused a sign to go on him flat. CutMan then came by and decides to retaliate with an attack of his own.

GutsMan: "Hey. No fair!"

CutMan: "Cutting you to pieces is gonna be sheer delight, Mega Man. Double Rolling Cutter."

Mega Man NG: "We'll see about that."

Mega Man NG dodged the double rolling cutter and counterattacked with an attack of using two Shotgun blasts hurting CutMan nice and good. That was when Mega Man NG was running and the bad guys were quick to follow.

Mega Man NG: "I've got no time to play with these bunch of morons. I've got a city to save and a madman to stop. Skycycle, activate!"

The NG Skycycle is activated amd he heads up into the air but unfortunately, it goes back down again and Mega loses balance again. He hits the ground and gets into CutMan and GutsMan's path.

Mega Man NG: "What's with the skycycle? It never messed up like that?"

GutsMan: "Cause we've done something with it. Isn't that right?"

Mega Man NG was immediately in their sight and with not much time remaining, something needed to be done.

CutMan: "I'm going to trim your life blue brat."

GutsMan: "And I'm gonna flatten ya."

Mega Man NG: "Don't I usually get a say in this type of thing?"

CutMan: "Of course... what will it be? A clip job?"

GutsMan: "Or a pounding?"

Mega Man NG: "I got a better idea. How about both at the same time."

CutMan: "Huh?"

GutsMan: "What?"

Mega Man NG grabs a trash can and lays it on CutMan while grabbing the top and smacks it to GutsMan flat in the face and he immediately became stuck with it and when he collided with CutMan, the both of them had a hell of a fight.

Mega Man NG: "I couldn't have done it better myself. Now, to check on the Skycycle. Activate repair mode!"

He activated the Skycycle repair mode and found something very unexpected inside the cycle and it made him feel very upset with disgust.

Mega Man NG: "Well, well... look what I've found. This circuit card unit was controlling it and if my hunch is right, whoever did this was the one who gave me a hydrocloric acid bath."

That was when he heard the sounds of many people in fear and it caught his attention knowing that something needed to be done. With no time to waste, he had to take care of the job and saw many people running from out-of-control electrical objects. To make things worse, he keeps seeing pictures of Wily doing all the control and that was so wrong.

Dr. Wily: "What's the matter? A little exercise never hurt anyone."

His cacklish laugh was heard and that immediately gave way to Rock being on the move. He saw Wily causing havoc and decided to do something about it.

Mega Man NG: "Whatever you up to Wily, Dr. Light and I are gonna stop you no matter what it takes."

Dr. Wily: "Mega Man! I thought my little spy put an end to you?"

Mega Man NG: "Sorry to disapoint ya, Wily but it'll take a lot more than that to stop me."

Dr. Wily: "Oh, really? I would much rather destroy you myself."

Mega Man NG: "Go ahead and try!"

Dr. Wily: "As you wish, blue dweeb."

That was when a bike machine went flying and decided to do some heavy damage to Mega Man. Unfortunately, he didn't have any time to retaliate and he was smacked with a whole lot of pain.

Mega Man NG: "Dang, Wily really does know how to ruin fun. Sword, battlechip in!"

With it, he was slicing through every electronic item there was and he had made sure not to let anything get in his way. But when he reached the sports section, that's when things decided to take a rear end at things.

Mega Man: "Time to practice my backhand. Wind Rack, battlechip in!"

He used the Wind Rack to immediately send some of the tennis balls back at his foe and with it, he shoved some wind and the tennis machine aside. With that taken care of, he heads off to the cosmetic show but unbelievably has more than he can chew.

Dr. Wily: "Welcome to the cosmetic department, Mega Man."

Mega Man NG: "Huh? What the?"

He was then grabbed by a cosmetic robot and then trapped by iron bars, he watches at what Wily has planned for him.

Mega Man NG: "Dude, let me go. What's the deal anyway?"

Dr. Wily: "Not to worry. I just want you to get the beauty treatment."

Mega Man NG: "As if."

Dr. Wily: "What?"

Mega Man NG: "Area Steal, Fast Gauge, Custom Sword battlechip in!"

That was when he disappeared and immediately came around at the other side armed with a CustomSword glowing thanks to the effects of FastGauge increasing its strength with ease. He struck with a powerful slash but it was blocked by another shopping item that the cosmetic robot had and now he's determined to unleash some major heck.

Mega Man NG: "Dang, when is it gonna end? PlatinumFist, battlechip in!"

Mega Man's hand turns into a fist made of pure platinum and unbelievably gave the costume robot a major smack in the face. With a smile on his face, he was ready to finish things off.

Mega Man NG: "Ya feelin kind of low? Maybe you can use a face change. DrillArm, battlechip in!"

Mega's Platinum Fist turned into a drill and immediately used it to turn that robot into scrap. He then checks around the area and finds someone getting hit by soda cans.

Mega Man NG: "Soda machine's out of order huh? GutsImpact, battlechip in!"

Using a GutsImpact, he smacked that soda machine flat in its tracks and with it, the person was saved as a result. He took a deep breath and helped the person out of there.

Mega Man NG: "That's much better. Are you okay, sir?"

Distressed Man: "Yes, thank you. Hey, look out behind you."

Mega Man NG: "What?"

Three appliances were coming to Mega Man NG at an unbelievable speed and with no time to waste, he had to make a quick move in hopes to get out of harm. Fortunately, he has one that would take care of things personally.

Mega Man NG: "This is a waste of my time. Katana, battlechip in!"

Mega Man NG's arm turns into a katana blade and he instantly slashed all three of the appliances without breaking a sweat. Unbelievably, he then gets a call from Dr. Light and knowin him, he's found a solution to the situation.

Mega Man NG: "I doubt that's covered under warranty. Huh? What is it, Grandpa?"

Dr. Light: "Mega Man, it appears I've developed something that could stop Dr. Wily and his electric nightmare. Return to the laboratory immediately and I'll explain everything."

Mega Man NG: "Right, grandpa. Oh man... I hate taking care of too many things. I'm out of here."

As he heads off towards the subway, he took the next train to the suburbs but what he doesn't know was that when Dr. Wily took control of all electricity, he also took control of the subway system. That was when the subway was going out of control in speed and Mega Man knew that a speed like that isn't required to reach that fast. Unbelievably, Mega wasn't like what he was seeing and decides to get off the ride.

Mega Man NG: "That wasn't one of my best rides. Huh? Oh crap."

Another train was heading straight for Rock and unbelievably, he didn't have much time to make a move. Whatever he had to do, he had to make a move that was quick.

Mega Man NG: "I hate days like this. AreaSteal battlechip in!"

With it, he immediately got out of the way and he immediately was out of sight. In another part of town, something very strange had happened and things were gonna get from bad to worse.

Governor: "And so, my last order of business is that I'm stepping down as your governor and turning over all of the city of Dr. Wily."

Dr. Wily: "And as my first offical act of business is placing my trusted friends in all key positions. You can relax now for New Light City is in good hands."

Watching what has happened from the laboratory, Dr. Light was finishing up a device hopeful enough to put an end to Wily's havoc. But a stranger hiding in the shadows prepares to make his move.

Dr. Light: "I've got to stop this madman before he plans to do any more harm to the entire city. Ah, there... this should do perfectly."

Mega Man NG: "Grandpa, look out. Mega Buster NG!"

With a single shot, he blasted the enemy and it turned out that it was none other the robot maid. Unbelievably, things were not as easily expected as the robot maid was determined to destroy Mega Man NG no matter what it takes.

Robot Maid: "Hasta la vista, Mega Man NG."

Before the maid turned desperado readies to fire her pistol gun, Daniel kicks a bucket of water that seriously drenched her entire face. Mega Man NG then gets a broom and does some spins to take out her arms. But, when she goes high up for the desperado-style kick Mega Man NG had only one move to make and that move had a very slashing surprise.

Mega Man NG: "Slasher, battlechip in!"

When the Robot Maid prepares a powerful kick to the face, Mega's eye shined and he instantly struck with a powerful slash and when it was over, the robot was reduced to pieces and began immediately saying the same stuff over and over again.

Robot Maid: "Mega Man la vista... Mega Man la vista... Mega Man la vista... Mega Man la vista."

Daniel: "You know for a housekeeping robot, she can sure make a mess."

Dr. Light: "Now with the situation in hand, we are certain to complete it without any trouble. Mega Man, if you can attach this device to the power grid, you can shut down Dr. Wily's plan once and for all. It's our only chance. You got to do this."

Mega Man NG: "Grandpa, I'll do my best."

Meanwhile, all over the city people are being trapped by the wrath of Dr. Wily's electric nightmare. If that wasn't bad enough, GutsMan decides to alarm everyone what is happening and that made Mega Man NG even more mad.

GutsMan: "Do not be alarmed. Dr. Wily has control over the entire city. You will all be given further instructions by the government's robot officers. On second thought, I guess you should be alarmed."

After one heck of a laugh, Mega Man NG was on the move but he used the ways of stealth in hopes to not get caught by the enemy especially Dr. Wily. Unfortunately, Dr. Wily has eyes and ears all over the city and he has been watching what has happened so far.

Dr. Wily: "He's more powerful than I anticipated, very impressive. That little blue dweeb thinks he can get past me well I've got a little surprise for this boy. Attention, all police robot units! Mega Man NG is heading east towards Jupiter Street and Central Avenue. All units intercept and destroy."

That was when sirens were heard and Mega Man wasn't liking what is happening. The robot officers were armed with plasma cannons and one of them fired giving Mega Man a shot to send it in and make the bad guy packing. He fired a buster shot and the sewer lid was open. He then grabbed a pole and played some golf with a big pot. It was needed for a hole in one and especially needed to kick butt.

Mega Man NG: "Robo officer in the side pocket. Oh yeah!"

That was when he sees three robots armed to the teeth and ready to kick butt. That made things more drastic than anticipated as he onlyhad to make a move that would change everything.

Mega Man NG: "Uh... no. Well, I guess there's one thing to do when you can't trust the police department. Geyser, battlechip in!"

He then hit the hydrant and then water began flowing sending those three guards over water and fortunately, they were out of the way and out of sight.

Mega Man NG: "If you can't trust the police department, call the fire department. Now to head for the power company."

As he went off to the power company, Bass comes by out of nowhere and stops Mega Man NG in his tracks. Normally, he would come out and battle him but this time it would be different.

Bass: "Not so fast, mega twerp. You ain't going anywhere."

Mega Man NG: "Bass, you are a humanoid like I am. If you are really a humanoid, you would do what's right for this world and stop Dr. Wily's crazy scheme."

Bass: "Please. It wouldn't be so crazy if you didn't came into existence."

Mega Man NG: "Not on your life."

Bass: "Have it your way, mega brat."

Bass fires a powerful blast and that made Mega Man NG go flying through a van side door. That was a lot of pain but not a lot of shame as Mega decides to give him somepain of his own. When he flipped a switch, he then controlled the shovel that sent Bass flying through a trash can. Mega then heads to the main control console and installs the device.

Mega Man NG: "This had better work."

Mega Man presses a few buttons and with the help of Dr. Light's device, he was able to get the electricity back to normal and many people have gotten out of an unbelievable situation. Meanwhile, at the governor's house Wily wasn't liking what has happened and things are finally taking a turn for the unexpected.

Dr. Wily: "What is happening? I'm losing control!"

Mega Man NG: "You should say, you've lost control!"

Dr. Wily: "Why you overgrown circuit breaker! ElecMan!"

That was when ElecMan went down and things were about to take an electrifying turn now that Mega Man is ready to kick some serious butt once again. This time, the two of them were gonna settle things once and for all.

Dr. Wily: "Obliterate that blue dweeb!"

ElecMan: "No problemo, Dr. Wily. Time to give this fool an Electric Blaze."

Mega Man NG: "Don't bother for I'm the one that'll take care of you. ElecBlade, battlechip in!"

Mega Man's left arm turned into an electric blade and with it, he was ready to kick some serious butt. He then sliced his ElecBlade through the governor's desk and that was when the battle accelerated big time and the both of them were unleashing attack after attack as the battle reached a second notch.

ElecMan: "This time, you won't escape my wrath! I'll be certain that you will be defeated!"

Mega Man NG: "That's what you think, electro brain. Cannon, battlechip in!"

His right arm turned into a Cannon and he immediately fired several shots at ElecMan but he immediately went on the move and dodged the attacks. ElecMan counterattacks by firing severals of his Thunder Beam and Mega Man NG was on the move yet again. Both of them were unleashing one attack after another and the battle was at a stalemate. Unfortunately, the battle was to be taken outside as the two of them were about to unleash everything they've got.

ElecMan: "This isn't getting us anywhere at all. I'm really despised of these battles. I'm gonna end this once and for all."

Mega Man NG: "You are more foolish than I thought, ElecMan. Why don't we just end this with one shot and find out who's the strongest of them all."

ElecMan; "Fine with me. One shot is better than nothing."

Mega Man NG: "We'll see who's number one."

ElecMan: "That will be me."

Mega Man NG: "Program Advance! MegaCannon, triple battlechip in!"

Mega Man NG brings out two MegaCannons and then his hands went high into the air forming a powerful Program Advance. When the light dissipated, the GigaCannon was revealed bringing forth unbelievable power. While at the same time, ElecMan gathers huge amounts of electricity from his entire body and then, he begins to generate some sort of powerful electric ball.

Mega Man NG: "GigaCannon3! Let's see if you can withstand this."

ElecMan: "I doubt it. You haven't seen the full power of what I can do. Eat this, mega jerk. Thunder Destroyer!"

Mega Man NG fires his GigaCannon3 while ElecMan unleashes his Thunder Destroyer. The attacks collided with unbelievable impact as the two of them had determination in their hearts and one goal in their minds: victory.

Mega Man NG: "You won't win, ElecMan. My power is far superior than yours."

ElecMan: "I doubt it. You won't win this battle, mega dweeb."

Mega Man NG: "Is that right? I've got one last trick up my sleeve."

ElecMan: "What?"

Mega Man NG: "Watch this! Area Steal, FighterSword, StepSword battlechips in!"

Mega Man immediately vanishes and so did the Program Advance that he used. The Thunder Destroyer was immediately heading towards mid-air and the next thing that ElecMan saw was nothing in sight. The next second, someone comes out in mid-air armed with a FighterSword and speed more faster than anything in the world. In an instant, ElecMan was immediately destroyed with one powerful strike and an anger that was defied as powerful and destructive.

Mega Man NG: "ElecMan, I hate to say it but you are way out of your league."

Instantly, he was reduced to scrap and was taken down effortlessly in one strike. That was when he saw Dr. Wily in his Skulker upset over what has happened. With a look he didn't like to see, he was certain that he would get his revenge one day.

Dr. Wily: "You haven't seen the last of me, Mega Man NG. I'll be back!"

Mega Man NG: "And I'll be waiting..."

Back at Dr. Light's laboratory, the situation was already under control as Light fully explains what he really did when he created the device in the first place.

Rock: "Looks like Dr. Wily won't be bothering us for the time being."

Daniel: "But what if he tries to get control of the power grid again?"

Dr. Light: "He can't for you see the device I made to stop it has a security circuit bent into it."

Rock: "Now that Dr. Wily has been taken care of, whatever happened to the robo spy Wily sent out to kill me?"

Daniel: "Nah, don't worry about her. I reprogrammed her into your personal assistant."

Rock: "Really? Then I'm so gonna enjoy this big time. I'll name her Doris. Alright, Doris... fetch me a Pepperoni Pizza HotPocket."

Doris: "Yes, Master Rock."

As Rock went off and took a seat in the living room household, Doris brought him a warm Pepperoni Pizza HotPocket. He begins enjoying it nice and slow and that was when he gives Doris his next order.

Rock: "Doris, fetch me a can of diet soda."

Doris: "Yes, Master Rock."

With everything taken care of, life was going grand. One thing was for certain that the bad guys have a determination for getting their butts kicked, the good guys however have a desire for relaxing as another day comes crawling to a close.

On the next Mega Man: New Generation
A mysterious tower of ice appeared over the city of New Light and temperatures begin to drop like crazy. People are getting sick with the flu and if that wasn't bad enough, the flu is spreading like a wildfire. Can Mega Man NG find out the mystery of this ice tower and if it was made by someone, who is it? Find out on the next exciting chapter, The Tower of Ice.

Alright, everyone. Chapter 5 of my fic is now on. Mega Man will have to battle the harsh elements to save New Light City. Chapter 5 is here, The Tower of Ice!

Chapter 1-5: The Tower of Ice
Another day has come through in the city of New Light as the weekend has arrived. After going through a few days of school, the weekend came quickly as Rock and Daniel are enjoying a round of tennis. Like determination on the battlefield, Rock has determination in the game and he's now helping Daniel lose weight after discovering that he has been gaining weight over the past few days. Dr. Light and Doris are around checking out on the situation and helping out Daniel as part of a weight-loss training.

Rock: "Come on, Daniel. I checked your current weight and you are 15 lbs over the limit. What's up with you, dude?"

Daniel: "Sorry, man. I've been hooked with junk food. I didn't know that it caused me to gain weight."

Rock: "Well, I'll be putting your sorry self through a series of training exercises in hopes to get you back in shape. Now, don't be quitting on me because I have known you for a long while. The only thing that matters is that you need to give it you all. Let's get started."

Daniel: "Yeah, sure. Just as long as I lose weight in this because I really want to do this man."

Rock: "Alright, let's go!"

Both of them were giving it everything they had as Rock was determined to have Daniel lose weight and he'll do whatever he can to do it. Dr. Light and Doris were watching what Rock and Daniel were doing. Hoping to be certain to get the job done, Daniel unleashes every ounce of strength in losing weight.

Dr. Light: "I'm pleased that Rock is helping out his friend."

Doris: "I agree, Dr. Light. Master Light is doing what he can to help his friend."

Dr. Light: "I agree. Doris, check the security systems to see if they are any disturbances. I want to be certain that Wily may be up to his old tricks."

Doris: "As you wish, Dr. Light."

Doris went inside the household in hopes to check on the security and see if Dr. Wily has been causing any trouble. But, what Doris will find is somewhat shocking and very unexpected as she will discover something very shocking.

Doris: "Dr. Light. You better come here quick. I've detected something amazingly unbelievable."

That was when Dr. Light, Rock and Daniel came by and they all saw the unexpected item on the horizon; it was some sort of ice tower appearing in the central part of New Light City. For some unknown reason, it has appeared before the entire city and things are getting even more unexpected.

Dr. Light: "It's impossible. How can a tower of solid ice appear over the city? That is geographically impossible."

Rock: "I'd say Wily is behind all this. I don't know why this tower is here but I smell Wily alright. One of his robot masters have something to do with this big time."

Doris: "It's even worse, Dr. Light. Temperatures all over the city have been decreasing at a very rapid rate. This ice tower is somehow generating powerful blasts of liquid nitrogen that is so strong that it can actually decrease the current temperature."

Rock: "Okay. Now I know that this is Wily's work. I don't know how he's doing it but somehow if this keeps up, this entire city will be blanketed with endless winter."

Doris: "Dr. Light, I'm also receiving reports that hundreds of people are now getting sick somehow."

Dr. Light: "This is unexpected. How can Wily do such a thing? Generate an ice tower that is geometrically impossible, reducing the temperature of the entire city, and what's worse... it can resort to a never-ending winter. Rock, you have to melt that ice tower before the entire city is frozen in its wake."

Rock: "I'm one step ahead of you, Grandpa. Everyone, you'll need to head to the underground area in case the cold freezes the laboratory."

Dr. Light: "Very well. As soon as you leave, I'll lower the laboratory so we'll be safe from Dr. Wily's cold shoulder. Be careful out there. I'd made sure you would survive against the deep freeze but never like this."

Rock: "Don't worry, Grandpa. I'll take care of that and melt it down to size."

As Rock transformed into Mega Man NG and went out, Dr. Light moved the lab to the underground area where they would be safe from Dr. Wily's cold shoulder. Using a Dash Blazer as part of his ride, Mega Man NG travels toward the snow-ridden city as he discovers the giant tower that has been the cause of this. What he'll find is that the tower turns out to be even bigger than what he saw.

Mega Man NG: "Damn, that is one hell of an ice tower. Who would have the power to do such a thing?" Oh, well... I got to find a way to get inside. Time to scan what its about."

Mega Man NG checked out the entire area where the ice tower is and there turned out to be three levels and the third level holds the source of the ice tower. Turns out that Mega Man will have a battle that will defy the horizon. Hoping to find a way in, he reaches towards the bottom and uses a HeatShot to pierce a hole inside. Now inside, he travels through this mysterious tower hoping to find answers.

Mega Man NG: "Grandpa, I'm in the first level of the ice tower. It appears as though that this tower is somehow generating huge amounts of liquid nitrogen towards the sky and forming snow towards the ground."

Dr. Light: "This is worse than I anticipated especially now that the temperatures are decreasing substatinally and hundreds of lives are at stake."

Doris: "Dr. Light, I'm checking through the radar and I'm discovering that people are getting the flu at an alarming rate. It seems the temperature dropping has caused everyone to suffer sickness."

Dr. Light: "This is most unexpected. Temperatures are now dropping to a mere 20 degrees. Mega, you must hurry. The fate of the entire city is in your hands."

Mega Man NG: "Leave it to me grandpa. I'll get the job done."

As he arrived on the first level, he discovers the entire area completely covered in ice. It was if that the person who created this place seems to have a way with keeping everything perfected. That was when unexpectedly, a line began coming forth and then two robot masters came out from above and immediately was ready for battle.

Mega Man NG: "Oh great. CutMan and ElecMan, when are these two ever gonna learn?"

CutMan: "You aren't going further blue dweeb."

ElecMan: "That's right. This ice tower will be your icy grave and we're making sure you go down with it."

Mega Man NG: "We'll see about that. Let's go. Boomerang, double battlechip in!"

Both of his hands immediately transformed into boomerang launchers and with it, both sides were ready for battle. CutMan launches his Rolling Cutter while ElecMan unleash the Lightning Blast attack. Mega Man fires both his Boomerangs and the battle has went to a free-for-all. Mega Man fires several shots of his Mega Buster NG but the bad guys were quick enough to dodge the blasts.

Mega Man NG: "You guys are better than the first time I fought you losers. Oh, we'll... I wasted too much time. Time to end this. Program Advance! MegaCannon, triple battlechip in!"

He formed the GigaCannon3 without wasting any time but that was when he looked behind and saw CutMan getting ready for a back attack. Mega Man knew he was gonna perform the GigaCannon but he has a little surprise up his sleeve.

Mega Man NG: "You think you can escape from me, CutMan. Not this time. Area Steal, battlechip in!"

Instantly, he escaped without being recognized and that was when he reappeared high in the air. That was when CutMan was scared as hell and the next thing he saw was getting blasted by GigaCannon fire. With that taken care of, all he saw left was ElecMan and he was running scared. That was when Mega Man NG had an evil look on his eyes and then he went dashing straight for ElecMan.

ElecMan: "No, please. Not again."

Mega Man NG: "Like I said, ElecMan. No matter whow many times you try... you are way out of your league. BambooSword, StepCross battlechips in!"

A BambooSword was formed and then he dashed at an exceedingly high speed and the next thing ElecMan encountered was getting sliced in half by the wrath of Mega Man NG. With those two taken care of, he continues climbing up the stairs heading up to the second area but that was when he gets a communication from Dr. Light and things were getting from bad to worse.

Mega Man NG: "Grandpa, what's going on?"

Dr. Light: "Mega, the temperatures are now at the zero range. Things are getting even worse than we thought. Heat systems are at a low level and our household can't hold up the cold any longer. You must hurry."

Doris: "We'll have to reach even further down to the lower levels."

Dr. Light: "You never told me that the lab can go even further below. Now, you all will be safe."

Doris: "We'll only be safe for a short while. You must hurry Mega Man and try to melt the ice tower before the city ends up frozen in its wake."

Mega Man NG: "Then how much time do I have left then?"

Daniel: "Dude, you have 3 hours before the entire city turns into an icicle on a platter. With every hour that passes temperatures will drop substatinally, people will be getting more and more sick and the city will be consumed with more and more snow and ice. We're all counting on you, Mega Man. Don't let us down because if you fail, the tower will bring New Light City into a new ice age."

Mega Man NG: "Daniel, for someone that has a big appetite you certainly have a big heart. I won't let you down. Just stay alive, mates."

Daniel: "Don't worry. I will stay alive man and so will everybody. Light, lower us to sublevel 15 now!"

Mega Man NG: "You go dude!"

That was when he reaches the second area and it was even more quieter than the first. If that wasn't bad enough, a shadow in black appears and unleashes some major firepower. With quick thinking, he dodges the attacks and without hesitation retaliates with firepower of his own. The black figure dodges the attack but then he appears into the light armed with a sword and that made Mega Man dodge it with unbelievable speed.

Mega Man NG: "Well, well Bass. You finally decided that you wanted to fight. It's about time and I promise you, I won't show mercy."

Bass: "I won't show mercy to you either. Show me what you got, mega dweeb. Sword, battlechip in!"

Mega Man NG: "Oh don't worry... I'll show you what I can do. Sword, battlechip in!"

Both warriors have their swords armed and ready and they immediately charged at each other with everything they had. They both attacked each other with everything they had and they unleashed strike after strike pulling out all the stops and unleashing majorly powerful blows. They then went back and decided to take the attacks to a whole another perspective.

Bass: "Impressive, Mega Man. Very impressive. I'm surprised that you have attacks that are as strong as they say. Oh well, its time for you to experience my full potential. It's time that I bring out the big guns with this. Shotgun, double battlechip in!"

Mega Man NG: "You know Bass... ever since I laid my eyes on the likes of you... you have been someone who has been constantly with an obsession for battling me. I know I'm someone that wants a battle but now I'm gonna show you the full potential of my power. You aren't the only one that can unleash powerful blows like these. Cannon, double battlechip in!"

Bass has two shotgun blasters while Mega Man NG has two green Canodumb cannons. As they looked at each other in the eye and the instant Bass blinked, both of them were on the move with break neck speed. Both of them were unleashing their main weaponry without showing any sign of giving up. Both warriors were binging out the full strength of their attacks as they kept unleashing one chip after another without warning. From cannons to bombs to various other items, all of them were bringing out the full strength of their attacks while in another area, someone is watching the entire battle. He was a robot master who is sitting on a chair made of solid ice. He was of an eskimo person that usually spends days in Antarctica and he was watching Mega Man NG and Bass unleash their full power in this battle.

IceMan: "This is so good. Who would have figured that those two would battle so fiercely. If MegaMan succeeds, I'll show him the true power of winter. It won't be long before my ice tower turns the entire city into my frozen world. With it, a new ice age will be born and victory will be mine."

As IceMan laughed on the top level of the tower, Mega Man and Bass continued their battle but they were using swords and they were bringing forth the ultimate power within them. Both of them were dashing with unbelievable speeds unleashing strike after strike but the attacks keep getting deflected by a different attack and that was when things had to come to an end.

Mega Man NG: "I got to admit, Bass. You really do have skill. The only thing that's different about this is that you need work on your accuracy."

Bass: "I'm pleased. Oh well, its time to finish thing and this time, when I mean we finish this... it will be time to end this. Alrighty then, Program Advance! `HiCannon, triple battlechip in!"

Bass brought two HiCannons and he immediately rose his arms high into the air. A bright light emanated from the merging of the HiCannons and then his new weapon appeared before him.

Bass: "GigaCannon2! Looks like you are a bigger fool than I thought you are. Looks like you will have to feel the full power of my strength."

Mega Man NG: "Impressive but I have a few tricks of my own. Program Advance! Sword, WideSword, LongSword battlechip in!"

Mega Man NG's swords began appearing and that was when his weapons rose high into the air and when that happened, a bright light emerged and that was when a sword came forth. Both of them had expressions of anger in their eyes and instantly, he was determined to unleash the full power of his attacks.

Mega Man NG: "Alright, this is all for the marbles ya know and I won't show any mercy."

Bass: "Same here but you do realize that once I unleash the full power of my attack, it will be the end of you."

Mega Man NG: "We'll see. LifeSword!"

Bass: "GigaCannon2! Fire!"

Both of them unleashed their Program Advances with everything they had and their power was second to none. IceMan was watching the entire battle as he witnessed a battle in the making.

IceMan: "Wow. No wonder Bass is so determined to beat him. He is fighting someone that has the strength to do anything and fight to do whatever he can. No wonder Mega Man NG is so honored as a hero but too bad that heroness will eventually have to come to an end."

While IceMan watches the fight from the room above, both Mega Man NG and Bass were unleashing the full strength of their attacks. Their eyes had determination like the sun and moon but the both of them had a goal on each of their mind; victory at all costs.

Mega Man NG: "I have to hand it to you, Bass. You really are someone that has potential inside. I really am surprised that you really want to battle me so much."

Bass: "You are the same thing, Mega Man NG. Who would have figured that a human like you would actually become someone that I would be destined to battle against. Oh well, I guess this proves you have what it takes to move on to the third and final floor."

Mega Man NG: "Awesome. Looks like this is the end. LifeSword, full power!"

The LifeSword immediately pushed forward with everything it had and instantly, Bass was sent flying from the ice tower all the way down to the ground. As Mega Man NG looked down, he saw Bass flying down towards the ground knowing that he kicked butt big time. That was when he went up the stairs and then he recieved another communication from his grandpa and this time, it was even worser news than Mega would anticipate.

Mega Man NG: "Huh? Grandpa, what's happening?"

Dr. Light: "This is bad. The Ice Tower is somehow affecting the inner core of the Earth. If my calculations are correct, the planet Earth will die in 1 hour. Mega, you must hurry for that time is running out as now the fate of the Earth is hanging in the balance."

Mega Man NG: "I knew something like this to occur. Now everyone is counting on me. Don't worry Grandpa, I won't fail no matter what."

As Mega Man NG continued heading up the stairs reaching towards the third and final floor, he finally finds the one who is the cause of all this. Turned out to be IceMan and he has a determination to destroy Mega Man NG after witnessing his last battle against Bass.

Mega Man NG: "IceMan! It was you all along!"

IceMan: "That's right. I created this Ice Tower so I can turn your city into a frozen wasteland. Now, I hear you have defeated Bass. Very impressive but I'm certain he will return again. Unfortunately for you, the end is here."

Mega Man NG: "We shall see about that, IceMan. I'll make sure I melt this tower when I'm done with you. FlameLine, battlechip in!"

Mega Man's right arm turned to the head of a Volbeat and then he raised his arm and fired a stream of FlameLine to IceMan. He immediately dodged it and that was when IceMan counterattacked with several blasts of his Ice Slasher. Mega Man dodge the attack and then retaliated with attacks by the FlameLine.

Mega Man NG: "Alright, show me what you got fool. HeatCross, battlechip in!"

Mega Man NG's FlameLine was turned into a Heat buster and then he fired it instantly. It then neutralized the Ice Slasher attack and that was when both of them attacked in hand-to-hand combat. With only minutes till the Earth turning into a frigid world, Mega Man had to make sure not to let anything stop him.

Mega Man NG: "I don't have much time. The planet Earth will turn into a frozen wasteland if I don't stop him. You are history, IceMan. FireSword, FireBlade battlechips in!"

Both his hands brought forth swords instantly and that was when he went on the offensive but that was when IceMan brought forth attacks of his own. IceMan placed to the ground and he immediately brought forth several spiky towers filled with ice and he was certain to stop him in his tracks. Unfortunately, Mega Man continually slashes through every tower in his pathway and when he came across IceMan, he was gonna strike him hard with unbelievable force. But, when he hit him... it turned out to be a full-class doppleganger which gave IceMan the opportunity needed to freeze Mega Man and end his hero business.

Mega Man NG: "It's a fake. Then that means..."

IceMan: "I'm right here blue dweeb. I'm gonna make sure that I put an end to you once and for all. Arctic Blast!"

Mega Man NG: "Don't be so sure of that! AreaSteal, battlechip in!"

IceMan fired his ultimate attack but Mega Man immediately dodged it thanks to the AreaSteal and unexpectedly he appeared high in mid-air with his FireSword and FireBlade armed and ready to finish IceMan. IceMan turned around and was ready to strike back by forming a powerful wall of pure ice and instantly, the attack was blocked. IceMan had a cocky laugh and that was when things decided to go up a notch.

IceMan: "You are so predictable Mega-wimp. Time for me to show you my ultimate power right at you. Arctic Blast! This time, you won't escape."

IceMan fired the Arctic Blast attack hoping to get him in his tracks and he did. Mega Man was frozen like an ice cube and IceMan smiled seeing that he had succeeded. He had defeated Mega Man NG and completed Dr. Wily's plan. But just when things were gonna go down, some red marks were appearing in the ice cube and that was when things were about to get a little heated up. When that happened, Mega Man NG was freed of his arctic prison and he was a burning beacon of light.

IceMan: This is impossible. How can you withstand the Arctic Storm at that much strength unless?"

Mega Man NG: "I used Salamander to increase my strength in hopes to escape from that Arctic Storm. Time for me to put an end to this once and for all."

Mega Man NG's body was completely engulfed in flame and then his eyes turned red as his hands immediately went high into the air. That was when he called out the weapons needed to finish the job.

Mega Man NG: "Time to put an end to this once and for all, IceMan and save this city from a frozen wrath. Tornado, Salamander, FireSword, FireBlade, Dash Blazer battlechips in!"

Mega Man immediately has his hands armed with a FireSword and FireBlade, then a Blazer fishy appeared and he then got on. The Salamander strength turned it into a fireball and then with a speed so fast, IceMan didn't feel a thing at all and that was when Mega Man NG was on the other side open with both of his weapons intact. IceMan immediately was destroyed in a wild and destructive blast. That was when Mega Man NG reached the top of the tower and then he began to spin like a cyclone with flame deep inside. Instantly, the Ice Tower began to melt and with it, the temperature began climbing up slowly and surely with every spin Mega Man NG unleashes. At the same time, the weather began changing as well. Snow was melting, and the sun appeared over the sky. The tornado gained height and strength as things was gonna get hot. After that, the tornado dissipated and then Mega Man NG reappeared high over the sky. With a smile on his face, the entire city has returned to normal and he heads back home.

Mega Man NG: "Grandpa, I did it! The city has returned to normal."

Dr. Light: "Yes you did Mega Man. You did it and with it, you saved the world in the process. I would have never figured that someone such as Dr. Wily would do such a thing. Fortunately, you were able to stop Dr. Wily before it was too late. Come home and rest, my grandson. You deserve it more than anyone."

Mega Man NG: "Thanks, grandpa. Looks like I really need a rest after all."

Mega Man NG heads home and takes a nice long nap. With the situation taken care of, the entire city should recover from the major winter storm. Unfortunately, some other evil robot master will come up and try to destroy the city. But no matter what happens, evil will rise again and try to take over the world. When that happens, a hero of justice will appear and stop evil from destroying everything in its wake. That hero is Mega Man NG, a champion that will fight to the bitter end.

On the next Mega Man: New Generation
Dr. Wily gets upset over countless defeats against Mega Man NG and decides that all of them must defeat Mega Man NG or face being sent to the junkyard. That was when FireMan decides to challenge Mega Man NG in a one-on-one battle inside a volcano. Mega Man accepts the challenge but the battle will push them to their limits. What is FireMan's real purpose and if he has a plan, Mega Man NG will definitely have something to do with it big time. Find out in the next exciting chapter, A Fiery Showdown.

This is one of the most unique rockman stories that I have ever read. It is cool how you've blended the original series with the battle network series so well.I not only like this fic's originality, but I also like your writing style too.

One of the few things that I would say is that you should make sure to stay in active voice, rather than passive.
Also, I would try to refrain from giving us all of the details so straightly. For example, instead of saying, "the sky, which was blue and mostly clear." I would say, "He ran underthe blue sky, marveling at its clarity." doing so makes a fic seem to flow more smoothly and describes the setting over time.

But anyway, I love the fic and look forward to the next chapter.

Another day, another adventure. Here's Chapter 6 of Mega Man: New Generation.

Chapter 1-6: A Fiery Showdown
A few days have passed since the Ice Tower appeared over New Light City and have been melted by the blue bomber, Mega Man NG. Now on a beautiful sunny Saturday, Rock is enjoying a jog around the park with Daniel close behind keeping up. Rock has been determined to help Daniel lose weight and so far, the process is going great. Daniel has lost 5 pounds so far and his goal is to lose 15 pounds. Fortunately, Rock and his family are there to help him out no matter what.

Rock: "Come on, Daniel. You got to give it your all man. You've already lost 5 pounds and you got 10 more to lose. Let's do it!"

Daniel: "Yeah. I'm gonna be showing you what I'm gonna be doing once I lose all this weight. I promise you that Rock. You may be very strong but I possess more power than anything else you will ever have."

Rock: "Yeah, right. You won't be able to catch up to me because I'm the strongest around and if you think you would stand a chance, you are sadly mistaken... seriously."

Daniel: "I don't think so!"

Daniel unleashes his full potential as he gives it his all but before Rock could unleash his full potential, an explosion was heard somewhere in the city. The both of them stopped and discovered that Dr. Wily would have something to do with this.

Daniel: "I know what that explosion is from. It's none other than..."

Rock: "Dr. Wily himself. Who would have figured that this guy wouldn't learn to quit. Even after I melted that ice tower, he still plans to do whatever he takes. I don't know how or why but I have a good feeling that I love to kick butt. Time to transform!"

Rock transformed into Mega Man NG and without hesitation, he turned on his skycycle and was on the move. High above the sky he sees some sort of robotic scorpion tearing the town apart. That was when Mega Man decided to do something about and witthout hesitating, he was off to battle. Wily was manning the controls and operating the lasers while the robot masters were assisting Wily in causing massive amounts of damage. Without hesitating, Mega Man immediately went on to battle and was on the attack.

Mega Man NG: "Hey, Wily. Don't you think its a bad time to be blasting the city while I'm around? CustomSword, battlechip in!"

Mega Man NG jumped off his skycycle and armed with his CustomSword, he attacked the robotic scorpion but the tail immediately blocked his attack. He then jumped down to the ground and that was when Wily's robot masters were on the move and that was when things were gonna get even more interesting.

Dr. Wily: "The blue dweeb. So, he decides to intervene in my plans eh? Attention all robot masters, destroy him!"

ElecMan: "This is gonna be a blast. Thunder Beam!"

CutMan: "I'm gonna slice him down to size. Rolling Cutter!"

GutsMan: "Time to lay the smackdown! Super Arm!"

Bass: "You are mine, mega dweeb. Bass Cannon!"

IceMan: "I'm gonna be putting you in the deep freeze. Ice Slasher!"

All five of them were unleashing their attacks which gave Mega Man not a lot of time to retaliate but fortunately, he always comes up with a counteroffensive.

Mega Man NG: "Oh, crap. These guys are really desperate to blast me out of the sky. Oh well, looks like its my turn now. AreaSteal, TripleBomb battlechips in!"

Mega Man NG immediately escaped enemy fire thanks to the AreaSteal and that made the bad guys wonder where he was at. But that was when he unleashed 3 sets of MiniBombs and that made them explode with major hurting. Fortunately, Bass jumped out of the explosion and was now with an obsession to destroy Mega Man NG.

Bass: "Alright, blue dweeb. No more tricks! Where are you?"

Mega Man NG: "I'll give you a hint. I'm taking apart Wily's robotic scorpion."

Bass: "Nandate?"

Bass turned around and saw Mega Man NG slicing and pulverizing the heck out of the robotic scorpion and he immediately sliced the heck out of its tail preventing it from firing its main weapon. Wily had a problem steering the robotic scorpion and it immediately lost its balance causing it to hit the pavement. Mega Man immediately jumped and then he went straight for Bass.

Bass: "Ekuzo, Rock Man NG. FireSword, battlechip in!"

Mega Man NG: "Koi, Forte. Stop sounding japanese man. You think I'm dumb and its Mega Man NG not Rock Man NG. ElecSword, battlechip in!"
Both of them armed up and they immediately were on the attack. With every blow one strikes, the other retaliates with unbelievable force. The two of them gave it everything they had and more as the power between them grew stronger and stronger. Somewhere on the other part of the city, a warrior of flame watches them battle. Unfortunately, the two of them decided that they went off and battled on the roof which gave the warrior in red flame a very impressive view.

FireMan: "So this is the warrior that I've heard so much about. His skills are very unprecendented and he possesses potential that is beyond anything in comparison. This is why Bass possess the strength to battle him and I believe that this young man has what it takes to fight me."

As FireMan continues watching the battle between Mega Man NG and Bass, it continued to get more and more intense as the both of them were unleashing every ounce of strength they had and fortunately, the two of them were ready to bring out the heavy artillery.

Mega Man NG: "Let's take things up a notch. DashAttack, HeroSword battlechips in!"

He jumped high in the air and that was when he rode on a green Dash fishy armed with a HeroSword and he immediately unleashed an attack on Bass but that was when Bass stopped him in his tracks using his own two hands to stop NG from using his attack.

Mega Man NG: "Damn it! AntiSword, I'd figured you use an attack like that."

Bass: "What do you think I've been doing for that past few days? After I got my butt kicked from you last time, I would vow never to get my butt kicked by you ever again. So, I've been constantly training hoping that I would get the opportunity to kick your sorry butt again but fortunately, I knew that today would be the day. And it seems that now I know every move you are gonna make, its only a matter of time before your butt gets kicked."

Mega Man NG: "For someone that has a big mouth, strong skill and uncanny strength you really are someone that has an obsession for me."

Bass: "Definitely. I want to make sure that you learn what its like to get your sorry hide kicked."

Mega Man NG: "Sorry to hear that but as far as I'm concerned with you, you are so going down. AreaSteal, battlechip in!"

Mega Man NG immediately vanished and that is when Bass began to go in shock and wonder where he went. Fortunately, FireMan watched the entire battle and that was when he saw Mega Man about to make his next move and it was about to be a painful one. High in the air and armed with a VariableSword, he unleashed a Sonic Boom sending Bass flying towards another building in the city.

Mega Man NG: "Hey, Bass. Had enough of me?"

Bass: "Damn, I ain't done with you yet. WoodAura, battlechip in!"

Almost immediately, Bass was protected in a green aura and then he dashed straight for him but that was when Mega Man had a plan of his own and it wasn't gonna be a very easy thing to begin with.

Mega Man NG: "You aren't the only one that has an aura. Let me show you what I mean! NorthWind, LifeAura, KnightSword, NeoVariableSword, StepCross battlechips in! Time to put an end to this once and for all."

Bass: "Oh no. Not NorthWind!"

And it all came into effect in just a matter of seconds. First, NorthWind completely took away Bass' WoodAura and in an instant, Mega Man NG was armed with a LifeAura that made him completely resistant to Bass's attacks. Next, Mega Man NG's arms were turned to a HeroSword on one hand and a NeoVariableSword the other. Next thing Bass knew was then Mega Man NG vanished and the next minute, he struck Bass hard with a powerful blast of StepCross. Unbelievably, Bass hit the ground and he immediately felt so much pain that he went down to the ground without bothering to make another move. Mega Man immediately powered down and turned around to see Bass suffering major pain.

Mega Man NG: "Looks like you still have a lot to learn. After all, it will take a lot more than just raw skill to defeat me. Besides, I'm someone that is born with that kind of talent and skill especially with when it comes to kicking your butt."

Bass: "Damn... you, Mega."

Mega Man NG: "Don't waste your time with me. It'll take longer for you to recover. I'm out of here! If you want to fight me again, you got to be stronger."

Mega Man NG jumped and Bass took a good loke where he was and as it turned out, he was off on his NG-Skycycle heading back to the city. Fortunately, Wily was very upset after what has happened and immediately ordered a retreat. Meanwhile high above the sky, Mega Man NG recieves a communication from his grandfather and as it turns out, it is something that is very unexpected.

Mega Man NG: "What is it, grandpa?"

Dr. Light: "Mega, it seems that you have a letter and it appears to be somehow from an unexpected foe I think you might know."

Mega Man NG: "Let Doris read the letter to me. I'll be sure to track the coordinates of where I have to be."

Dr. Light: "If you insist, Mega."

That was when communication ended between Light and Mega Man and then Rock's personal maid, Doris appeared giving him the advice needed in hopes of getting the information needed.

Doris: "Mega, this is Doris. Here is the letter that was given to you. It's right now been completely decoded and now ready for you to be read."

Mega Man NG: "Thank you, Doris. You've been a big help."

Doris: "Anything to help you."

That was when Rock began reading the letter and as he reads it, he begins to understand what is about to happen. What he's about to realize is that a big battle will occur and it will take place in an area that not even Mega Man NG will survive.

"To Mega Man NG:

I have heard much about you and your skills are extremely unprecedented. Therefore, I present to you a challenge that may at least give you a sense of interest. You see, this challenge will be nothing more than a one-on-one battle but the setting of my challenge may give you something more of a chill through your spine. The battle will take place deep within the area of Mount Hierachi. I want to see what your skills are capable of and if you accept, I promise you that this battle will be an honorable one. However, if you refuse I shall sentence you and the city of New Light in a volcanic grave. The choice is yours, Mega Man NG. I look forward to your decision, blue bomber.

From: The Warrior of Flame, FireMan"

Once he finished looking at the letter, he knew what needed to be done. That was when he set the thrusters of his Skycycle to maximum as he heads of to Mount Hierachi. Knowing that FireMan wants a battle, he is determined to give him a fight he'll look forward to have. In Mount Hierachi, FireMan was meditating deep inside the volcanic structure. His mind was as solemn like the wind and the blaze inside was as volatile as the sun. His eyes immediately open knowing that his opponent has arrived and unexpectedly, he jumps so high that he appears on the top of the volcano looking for his opponent. As it turns out, his opponent appeared right behind him.

Mega Man NG: "Hey, you!"

FireMan turned around and saw Mega Man NG on the other side of the volcano. His eyes were as sharp as a blade yet his desire for battle makes him feel uneasy. FireMan, however sees his opponent and has a heart that is burning like an eruption. The two of them looked at each other and then the both of them dropped downwards toward the inside of the volcano.

FireMan: "I've been expecting you. Who would expect that the one warrior that Wily fears would end up being this little brat."

Mega Man NG: "I'm no little brat, flame face. And as far as I'm concerned, I only came here to accept your stupid challenge. But I'm making sure that you are going down."

FireMan: "Then I have a little prize if you succeed."

Mega Man NG: "Nandate?"

The both of them landed at the inner sanctuary of the volcano. FireMan began to explain the whole purpose of his challenge but Mega Man NG seems to not take what FireMan said too seriously.

FireMan: "I'm pleased that you have arrived in such short notice. I look forward to challenging your skill. I forgot to mention to you about my little prize if you defeat me."

Mega Man NG: "Okey, dokey. Tell me, what is this "prize" you plan to give me if I win?"

That was when FireMan generated a mass amount of energy and then the energy turned into a circulated orb of power. As it turned out, it became a Soul Essence and immediately FireMan placed it inside a solid glass box. Mega Man NG realized that FireMan is serious and feels that he has no need in serving Dr. Wily.

FireMan: "You see, I no longer have any need of serving that old hag Dr. Wily and this is why I place this Soul Essence if you succeed in defeating me. I believe that you acquired the essences of worthy opponents by feeling the warmness of their hearts. It turns out you felt a warmness in my heart when you saw me for the first time. Now, its time to see if you are worthy to succeed. Are you ready?"

Mega Man NG: "I'm ready. Let's get on with it already."

FireMan: "I am looking forward to this."

Mega Man NG charged straight for FireMan and unleashed a barrage of powerful punches which caused FireMan to block his attacks. Without getting a chance to recover, Mega Man NG unleashed a powerful kick which sent FireMan spinning. That was when Fire Man counterattacked by unleashing kick after kick on Mega Man NG. Mega blocked every attack and that was when he decided to bring out the heavy artillery when he fired a shot from his Mega Buster NG. The attack pushed FireMan a bit but that was when he attacked with his own. Using his arm, he unleashed a blast of concentrated flame which caused Mega Man NG to think on his knees rather than on his rear end.

FireMan: "Let's see you taste the wrath of my Fire Arm."

Mega Man: "Okay, now that is too hot. BubbleShot, battlechip in!"

Mega Man NG's buster arm was turned into a bubble shooter and then he fired a few shots causing the flame to immediately disintegrate. He fired a few more shots which made FireMan immediately be on the move. At the same time, FireMan fired a few blasts of his Fire Arm which also made Mega Man NG be on the move. With a battle that was gonna take things to their limits, things were gonna get a little hot.

FireMan: "Impressive, Mega Man. Your skills are second to none when it comes to battling against Wily's robot masters. But unlike them, I possess power that is even stronger. Now, watch and learn Mega Man NG."

That was when he brought forth one of his arms and flame began to generate from the inside. The next thing Mega Man NG saw was that flame began to shoot out of his arm in a circulated pattern. Mega Man NG moved quick to dodge the attack and fortunately, the attack was fired at a straight distance. That was when he looked and saw the strength of FireMan's attack and decided to find out what it was.

Mega Man NG: "What kind of power was that?"

FireMan: "Did you like my Fire Storm attack? I guess my strength is consider stronger than you think. Its time for you to experience some major burning, Mega Man. Fire Storm!"

Both of FireMan's arms fired a barrage of fireballs moving at a circulated pattern. Mega Man had to do something fast and he was running out of time. Fortunately, he came up with a counteroffensive and it was perfectly needed to stop FireMan's Fire Storm attack.

Mega Man NG: "Time to neutralize his attack. FireAura, battlechip in!"

Mega Man NG's body was completely enveloped by an aura of flame. In an instant, FireMan's Fire Storm attack was absorbed completely and then the FireAura dissipated completely. Unbelievably, FireMan was shocked of this unexpected move. That was when Mega Man NG dissipated the FireAura, and immediately was charging straight for FireMan.

Mega Man NG: "Time to send you packing. FighterSword, battlechip in!"

FireMan: "You are a fool. FireSword!"

Mega Man NG was cut short in his tracks as FireMan stopped him from finishing the battle. Things were about to take a very unexpected turn especially since both of them are now armed with swords. That was when the both of them immediately started clashing their blades with everything they had but things were about to take an evasive turn.

FireMan: "Alright, time to take things up a notch. Flaming Circle!"

Mega Man NG: "Uh oh! Things are about to take a turn alright."

FireMan began to spin around in a circular pattern and that was when fire began to emerge from the circle. When the flaming circle began to form some sort of FireTower, that was when things were about to take a very blazing turn. Immediately, FireMan's twin Fire Arms unleashed a blast of powerful flame but unfortunately, Mega Man NG dodged the blast but that didn't stop FireMan from unleashing his attack all over the place. Mega Man was moving fast like crazy as FireMan's attack was going out of control. Unbelievably, Mega Man had the opportunity to counterattack but his attacks weren't going through because of a powerful circulated barrier protecting FireMan from any enemy fire. Unfortunately, FireMan's continous attack was driving Mega Man NG nuts and even worse, not even Mega Man's use of battlechips can pierce through it. That was when Mega Man came up with the ultimate counterattack.

Mega Man NG: "Time to cool you down. AquaSword, Tsunami battlechips in!"

It was about time that Mega Man NG got something needed to get the job done. He first placed his hand on the ground and he immediately unleashed a powerful tidal wave and it completely drenched FireMan in his tracks. Then, Mega Man jumped high into the air and struck FireMan hard and well. He was sent across ten feet through and then he ended up into the lava down below. Mega Man NG took a look down and saw nothing more than a flaming grave. But when he turned around, lava began to bubble which brought forth a column of lava with FireMan re-emerging. Mega Man was shocked to see something like that.

Mega Man NG: "Oh what the!"

FireMan: "You think you can take me down that easily? You are sadly mistaken, Mega Man NG."

Mega Man NG: "Is that right. Well, let's see you try this on for size. ElementalIce, battlechip in!"

His AquaSword was then changed into an ElementalIce shooter and then immediately he fired two shots causing the flame tower to be turned into solid ice. Unbelievably, flame began to erupt again and the tower immediately was destroyed. FireMan was high in the air and that was when he aimed his arms down and unleashed a major blast of flame. Mega Man NG got out of the way and immediately he raced straight to FireMan to give him one heck of a beating. After being struck with a powerful blow, FireMan hit the ground and Mega Man NG followed with high speed.

Mega Man NG: "You are going down, FireMan."

FireMan "I'm afraid you are mistaken. You will be expecting some major defeat once I unleash this. My ultimate attack, Flaming Cyclone!"

Mega Man NG: "That's what you think. AquaSword, double battlechip in!"

Both of NG's arms were armed with AquaSwords and that was when he dove straight through FireMan's Flaming Cyclone. But, that was when he decides to do something even more risky and began to spin in a cycle which may give him the opportunity to fight back.

Mega Man NG: "Time to go for a spin, Cyclone, battlechip in!"

Mega Man NG immediately went into an out-of-control spin that caused a blue tornado to emerge. Within seconds, Mega Man NG was completely inside the tornado spinning in an unbelievable speed.

Mega Man NG: "Time to go for a spin. Aquatic Cyclone!"

Instantly, a cyclone was emerged and that was when the both of them unleashed their attacks at full speed. When their attacks collided, unbelievably it was stopped in its tracks due to the fact that fire and water really don't go together and the both of them immediately were in the ring looking at each other plain in the eye. That was when the both of them looked at each other in the eye and that was when things were gonna take a very unexpected turn.

FireMan: "I'm impressed with your skill, Mega Man. I must admit that for someone like yourself, you have an uncanny way with predicting every move you make."

Mega Man NG: "You aren't bad yourself. Besides, you really know how to give me a challenge but this battle is far from over. VariableSword, TripleBomb, battlechip in!"

One of his AquaSwords turned into a magical shifting sword called VariableSword and immediately, his other AquaSword turned into his hand again and that was when a pile of 3 bombs appeared. WIth it, he threw them straight for FireMan and it immediately caused a blanket of smoke throughout the area. That was when Mega Man had the advantage and unbelievably, he fired a powerful Sonic Boom which made FireMan immediately dodge the attack.

FireMan: "Nice tactic, blue boy. You do realize that it takes more than skill to beat the likes out of me."

Mega Man NG: "That's what you think. You didn't think that it would be my only surprise to give you."

FireMan: "What? What do you mean by that?"

Mega Man NG: "What's this. TripleBomb, double battlechip in!"

He brought forth 2 sets of TripleBombs and immediately he threw them towards the ground which caused a huge amount of smoke which gave FireMan some confusion. That was when Mega Man was high in the air and was ready to strike with one unbelievable blow in hopes of finishing the job.

Mega Man NG: "I'm gonna put an end to this once and for all. Program Advance! VariableSword, triple battlechip in!"

Both of MegaMan NG's arms turned into VariableSwords and immediately he rose them high into the air forming a bright light. With it, he brought down one of his hands to reveal an all-powerful VariableSword but it is golden and emits unbelievable strength.

Mega Man NG: "Let's end this. ZetaVariable! Ike!"

Mega Man unleashed a powerful Sonic Boom which was aiming straight towards FireMan. When the smoke cleared, all FireMan had to do was aim up and then he was completely engulfed by the power of the ZetaVariable attack. When it was all over, FireMan was reduced in half and now was nothing but a robot lied down with no will to live. Mega Man NG went closer to him and that was when he saw FireMan, battered and nearly destroyed. He then came to him and FireMan only had a few things to say.

FireMan: "Congratulations, Mega Man NG. You have done well. You had the strength to defeat me in battle and I am most pleased with your victory. Now, take the Soul Essence and use my strength to beat Wily."

Mega Man NG: "But what will happen to you?"

FireMan: "Just leave me... its... much better for me. I'll rest in peace this way. Farewell... Mega Man NG."

Instantly, Mega Man sees FireMan closing his eyes and amazingly, he rests in peace. His body has been completely dissipated and with it, he has ceased to exist. That was when he reached to the cage, he immediately touched the Soul Essence and felt a powerful surge of energy. Unbelievably, he was consumed by its energy and underwent a dramatic transformation. HIs body was covered in flame and then parts of FireMan began to be brought forth revealing a Soul Unison. When it was over, he became the very essence of FireMan and with his strength, he would use it to defeat Wily and bring peace.

Mega Man NG: "Soul Unison Fire Soul!"

With a powerful roar, the strength of Fire Soul propelled him out of the volcano and out of sight. While he was flying, he took one last look at the volcano where FireMan now rests in peace and realizes that not all robots are evil. Only with the right inspiration, even those that are evil will follow a path of justic. Now with Fire Soul, Mega Man NG's heart burns like a volcano erupting in the morning sun and with the determination of a lion, his heart will fight more than ever in the battles ahead. One thing is for sure, he will never forget a warrior who taught him the true value of life. That warrior was FireMan.

Mega Man NG: "Rest in peace, FireMan."

With the help of his personal maid, Rock has been constantly training in hopes of achieving the full potential of his Soul Unisons. That was when explosions have been occuring all over the city and things take a very drastic turn. Mega Man NG heads off to find out what is going on only to discover that BombMan is the cause of all this. Can Mega Man NG save the city from an explosive fate?
