FLCL. THEY ONLY MADE, LIKE 6 EPISODES!! 6! Whew. -_-; But why did they end it with Haruko leaving? She was one of the funniest characters! There wouldn't be an FLCL without her! T_T _________________ I am Solar Boy Django! TAIYOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!!!!

FLCL was basically an OVA that tested new forms of animation for GAINAX. Most OVA series are 6 episodes long. That's how long it was, and I wouldn't have anything longer. Short and sweet. They might have been able to stretch it to ten or twelve, but I'm not so sure. |

mmm lets see:
Medabots: season 2(or 3 with the kilobots) sucked on its own, the ending in season 1 was good but o well...
Inuyasha: doesnt have a real ending since they stopped making episodes and the manga continues(they say they might continue the anime)
Digimon S2: throw in (malo)myotismon for 2 eps with a ridicilous plot on how he survives etc.
DBGT: dbgt was bs anyway, even though i liked the Super17 saga because of cell and freeza.
Wolfs Rain: everyone died, and in "paradise" which is actually our world kinda, all the wolfs are humans now with no memory of their previous life except kiba. |

You know many people have problems with the 02 ending. And some parts of the later epsiodes. GT was a problem in it's self. I never seen the medabots kilobot ending (and I'm still looking for it if anyone has it.) and it figures wolf's rain ended like that. It makes sense. |

The only two anime I've ever seen from begining to end I thought both had bad endings. They were FMA and ONE OVA (but then again, the series itself was pretty bad) _________________ "I, frankly, felt like the reception we recieved on the way in from the airport was very warm and hospitable, and I want to thank the Canadian people who came out to wave - with all five fingers - for - for their hospitality."

Ooh FMA, you are so silly.
We had a marathon of the second half today, and...
Well, you think you get the plot. You figure out the big evil plot and say "OH NOES, I knows what gonna happen, sumbody do something!"
But then it's like, [spoil:bcc766bf4e]other side of the gate, Nazis, WFT?![/spoil:bcc766bf4e] I was seriously considering kicking the projector off the table [spoil:bcc766bf4e]when it looks like Roy has died, I was unhaaaappy.
Overall... I'm not sure. It left me with a funny feeling. Al is back but young, and Ed's in Germany... T_T Not a sad ending, but not the kind of happy ending I want either!! Bwaaaaa...[/spoil:bcc766bf4e] |

Ninja Cadets! in my opinion had the worst ending because that left me with lots of questions.
[spoil:66f77f92b1] Was she really the princess? What happened to those other 2 who were posessed and then disappeared before the palace was destroyed?
What happens next?[/spoil:66f77f92b1] :] _________________

I think I figured out FMA, [spoil:383a2e4301]it involves the "real world", our world in WW2 or I think 1 and the gate being why al can transmute with out a circle like his teacher. It also kind of explains why that one homuculus had ed's arm with the fox bite.[/spoil:383a2e4301] Yeah so I watched the ep with that child they found and I looked up some stuff so I don't know if what I said made sense. |

I thought flcl was a great show. Best show in my opinion. AS for me I think Rurouni Kenshin had not a bad ending but a dissapointing one[spoil:d2b02b3095]Kenshin dying beacuase of disease...?[/spoil:d2b02b3095]. I thought FMA ending was fantastic, but maybe I'm wierd. _________________

Oh, I'd fogotten about this one. Twelve Kingdoms. The series is pretty cool, but there was one thing they left unresolved, and Made the series feel incomplete for me. [spoil:83aae7f4e6]There was a Ki-Rin from one of the other kingdoms (wish I could remember the name of the kingdom) that Queen Kei learned about. He was a rare Black Li-Rin and had been living in Horai (Japan) before he was found and returned to the land he belonged in. At some point, he went back to Horai and the king of his land disappeared. The reason this happened was never adequately explained and I really wanted to see it resolved. To be fair, the story of that Ki-Rin was more of a side story while the main story was about Queen Kei, but it was a good 6 episodes of side story which was left unresolved at the end of the series. Not right in my opinion.[/spoil:83aae7f4e6] _________________ Church: Are you following any of this?

Zodiac, you were right about the Guyver series being incomplete. In fact, they actually remade it and continued past that point (Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor, you can get subbed copies off ebay or watch the first few episodes raw on youtube.com). Unfortunately, although the remake of the series is even better than the first, they again end without much resolution. [spoil:2324641e3a]Chronos takes over the world and Sho returns with increased power. That's it. No more. Nada. Just stops there.[/spoil:2324641e3a]
Regardless, it is still a good series with a more developed storyline than the first.
Big Plus: It actually has encounters with the Zoalords in it. _________________ Check out my latest comics series, Our Superhero is the Village Idiot!, at http://z6.invisionfree.com/Megaman_EXE_Board/index.php?showtopic=290&st=0#entry5681773 . |

Well, I'll have to keep an eye out for the new Guyver. It was pretty annoying that the one Zoalord shows up in the last episode, but there was just no explaination of where he came from or anything. Thanks for metioning HyperBlade. _________________ Church: Are you following any of this?

X TV ticked me off the most. I continued watching the lame second half mostly to see the final battle that had been hyped up since the first episode but [spoil:73ab9d6e1d]it didn't even last three minutes. If a battle is going to be hyped since since the start, it should last the entire episode.[/spoil:73ab9d6e1d]

The series just seemed to drag out at the end. I personally believe that it should have ended one or two episodes earlier at the end of the episode.
Not to mention [spoil:d7a84703f7]The last battle between Kazuma and Ryuho was bad, and they kill Straight Cougar for no reason![/spoil:d7a84703f7]
Also, I loved Samurai Champloo, but I didn't like the last epsiode. [spoil:d7a84703f7]Fuu meets her father, who is sick and dying, only to watch him be killed by the government assassin. Then, at the end, after Jin talks says that he finally found friends, they all split up! The rest of the episode was pretty good, though, I just didn't like the resolution.[/spoil:d7a84703f7] _________________

Was. So. Bad. And it was all hyped up too, but ended up being such a disappointment. _________________ Church: Are you following any of this?

That is NOT what happened in the Inuyasha ending for the anime...
The real ending: [spoil:0b1042528d]NOBODY dies other than Onigumo....in fact, in the end of the anime, NOTHING is different from the beginning of the series. The Jewel is still shattered, none of the relationships are resolved, etc etc.[/spoil:0b1042528d]
In other words, there was no ending, just like the manga, which is STILL going on.
Other than that, I never found myself too upset over most endings, mainly because I can't really expect too much most of the time, or maybe because most of my interests have had impressive or spectacular finales. I DO have a problem with series that seem to never end however....such as:
-Inuyasha (Manga version. I think the series has gone on MORE than long enough)
-One Piece
-Pokemon (must I go over this one?)
There are others, but those are the three I wanna point out.[/spoil] _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)

Well, DrkXFuZion your wish of InuYasha Manga ending may come true soon. As for the anime, however. There's plans to possibly continue it at a later point in time. This is why the ending for the anime didn't completely go off the source material.
Anywho, getting into Star Ocran EX, to be perfectly honest, the show didn't even really end.
For those wonder, the anime ends when Claude and Everyone defeat the planet's controller (God, what was his name?) and then they are given the chance to travel through a pathway, using the similar gateway Claude entered at the beginning to another world. And it just ends there.
What gets me is the fact the show was suppossed to be 52 episodes long. Star Ocean EX was canned due to bad ratings, from what I heard. Another offender the anime had was it went off both source materials it was based off of. The Star Ocean EX manga was much closer to the game in many ways, obviously barring some differences. Yet somehow, it went off for about 5 or so episodes, then started getting slightly back on track.
What I really wish was that TV-Tokyo would've had 26 more episodes produced that went onto Rena's world. (Which essentially, it was suppossed to.) Obviously it didn't....
You know, I really think it's Star Ocean EX's fault on why we didn't get anymore Star Ocean anime or manga for that matter. To be perfectly honest, I liked the series, but the ending just was one gigantic cliff hanger. I just wish TV-Tokyo tried to carry on the series a bit longer... *sigh* |
