^_^ He's such a cuuuutie, even if his purpose was very predictable.
I liked this episode, but... I dunno, I think it's weird they include the Beast-Out forms so early on...

The Aka-chan navi is a lot like Culumon from Digimon Tamers... it's clearly a catalyst for Rockman's change.

Laika is apparently here to stay as a regular character now. He and Searchman's names were bumped up in the credits. I guess he didn't need his Crest of Duo to Cross Fuse after all since he can still do it. Wonder if the others can as well.

Hello, new person posting.

I agree with Kram, those things in the ending look like Beast-ified versions of the EXE 5 Battle Chip Gates... Possibly for someone to send Battle Chips to the Beasts? Or just the Beast Out Rock?

It will be interesting to see how those play out.

Watched it, and got a couple of questions.

1. Is it just me, or did Meijin get a new set of glasses? *looks at the Opening*

2. ...Is it just me, or Enzan has sudden growth is now a lot taller than Netto is?

3. Number isn't very good at ice skating, now is he? [/sarcasm]

4. >___> Since when did Meiru abandon her thing and change to skating?

Currently at the the middle of the episode, and it looks pretty good.

Edit: Finished. Beast looks good. Like between the all-out CFness of Stream and Axess's serious and angst. This should be either my 2nd or most favorite series.

Btw, isn't that a bit too much for a first episode? *looks Rock acting like Episode 52-ish in Original EXE*. Jeez.

hopefully bass gets a bigger and longer lasting role......his longest role was probably in the whole gospel, pharoahman, shuryou storyline.....

Finished watching the first episode. Since I'm too lazy to type my thoughts in (I'd only be repeating what I said), I introduce to you my Livejournal post.

I like the theme song but it's not as upbeat as the previous songs. Still, the "Ole!" parts got stuck in my head and I sing it to annoy my brother. The new fighting background music is awesome, and the new PETs look like iPods. I also find it nifty that the Navis can appear as a mini hologram on the NetOps' shoulders.

Also, about the Netto-Enzan-Raika/Rock-Blues-Searchman thing-- about frigging time the anime put the trio together. During the last season, the opening sequence focused on those three, and yet in the show they barely focused on the "main trio" at all. They seem to be putting it together in Rockman.EXE Beast though.

Besides the huge cast from the upcoming game (Megaman Battle Network 6), some characters are staying. I think the new girl with Clownman would hold a strong relationship with Madoi and Coloredman, be it friendship or rivalry, and the kid with Killer looks kind of emo to me.

I'm surprised that Netto's not moving away from Akihara like he's going to in the game. I'm also amazed at how Dingo, out of the rest of the [spoil:d3fde612fb]Cross Fusion Rangers[/spoil:d3fde612fb], is staying in the series, and Dekao's promoted to main character once again. (Well, he took part in the ending sequence!) Is it me or does Meiru hug Netto every time in the opening sans the one in the first season?

Onto some parts of the plot. With Netto and co. taking care of the baby Navi, it reminds me so much of Doremi and co. taking care of the magical baby Hana-chan in Ojamajo Doremi #, but least Rockman doesn't have to change diapers and worry about Aka-chan taking a dump in his arms.

Woah ! Colonel ! I think the Iris theory for Butterfly girl makes a lot of sense... If it is not the case, Colonel could become a counterpart to Forte as the So Much Strong Navi Who Saves The Day In The Last Episode

If Butterfly Girl gets Colonel... Just imagine a CrossFusion (pink Colonel !) and the reaction of poor Meiru !

Is that right? Well, these new PETs are smaller than the previous ones created, plus the Navi simulation appearing beside you (on your shoulder in this case) is a very nice enhancement.

The new transformations for this first episode of Beast was actually very unexpecting to me. Usually, new powers and transformations appear a little later, but this new series of Rockman EXE introduces some of the new powers very early. I'm really intrigued about Rockman's new transformations since new Soul Unisons failed to appear much in Stream. I also like the theme music when Rockman transformed. Now all everyone needs to know is how Aka-chan inherited this new power?

With this knowledge, I'm now really impatient to play EXE 6. I'm hoping less Cross Fusion and more transformations for this series.

there will be Cross Fusions, but...
i wouldn't mind having Beast out forms, Cross Forms, and some Cross Fusion being balanced out in terms of usage.

Well the frist episode was good only but hey there was never a show I did not watch with a starting episode which told a lot of the story. It will get better has it goes on I am sure not so sure about Rockman and the baby thing looks a little out of place and I hope the rest of the Cross fusion memeber make a reappears or at less get Maylu back on the team.

Hmmm.

I watched it, and I was moderately impressed. The new PET design is slick, and, well, seeing three-dimensional holograms of the navis interact with humans should add for some character development points later on.

CF does makes its appearance, but it seems to be less pronounced than that of Stream...which could be a good thing. We could see the story development of Axess make its return.

And yes, having the whole catalysis of the major crosses in the first episode seems rather strange and out of line...

Even before I watched the episode, I notesed a something. "Clownman", or who we think is clownman, looks like the clown from Megaman 7. Heh, I remember them saying PET's evolved frome cell phones, but I don't recall them evolving from I-pods.
