Just a reminder to you GF as you asked me about this awhile ago but Gundam SEED: Neverending Tommarow comes out ...er tommarow.(Man that sounded dumb.) For Ps2. It looks promising. They use the SEED dub cast instead of whoever they used for Battle Assault 3 thank god.(Though the original would be better. I'll definitely be getting it tommarow. |

Its release date is 27/9/05, but shipments havent made it anywhere here yet.
Well I'm a big gunam fan, seen most of the series, favorites would be Stardust, 8th MS, Z/ZZ, and Destiny. I collect MSiA rather than kits and my colletion is pretty decent. (In my sig, they are MSiA)
Got my copy of NET, looks good so far. |

Yeah its weird though. They changed alot of the music. Some of the music is from other Gundam games. However some SEED music is in this game. So whats the deal? They only changed some of the music. |

I tend to disagree the ending battle of seed makes it better than its sequel...Mwu dies..did not see that coming...freedom was about to get owned by providence but kira pulls one out of his ass somehow the battle sequence between the two was alot better than the one between him and Rey, though for once Athrun's fight sequences were respectable...seed picked up when freedom was introduced when destiny was introduced i had promise to pick up but then it was overshadowed by strike freedom which didnt look that hot in its first outing there was too much backstory too late in the story and thus one was left wondering and wanting they gave mwu a good set of sequence but again they crammed the conclusion into the first 15 mins then they killed off the ones that they needed to in the end, not like seed where it ended with Rau dying and the misfiring of Genesis....seriously they should be allowed a do over or something. |

What the hell happened to Destiny? Around the time when [spoil:51b9c28485]Stellar[/spoil:51b9c28485] died the series just became complete crap. The animation became sub-par and the story took a nose-dive. The ending just failed. It left way too many questions un-answered. Destiny's change is pretty much the opposite of ZZ Gundam's. Destiny began good, while ZZ began bad. Then, half way, Destiny got horrible, where ZZ got better.[/spoil] _________________

I loved Destiny's ending. It's set up in case there's a third part to the story. If Fukuda can get the funding, he'll probably do one. I thought it was great. |

The staff happened. The director, was an incompetent moron who hired his wife as scriptwriter and let her do whatever the hell she wanted. He also had practically no passion for his work, and its history, and was lazy and spent time recaping episodes and having 15 mins 2 person conversations ordering the VAs to talk as slowly as possible so all the had to do was animate mouths moving. He also had poor monet management skills. The head writer had no clue what she was doing and constantly changed angles and main characters around. She would have been fired form any other show exceept this because her husband was the director. They also decided to use the show to vent their anger upon the western world for whatever reason.
Anyway thank god this shit is over. Hopefully the next series will have a new director and writer. |

well now that i know that info, i understand why it was so poor cause i watched the finale like 5 times and i yet to see why [spoil:5c4b8b295b]Rey shot Gilbert[/spoil:5c4b8b295b], "because he wanted a future", it doesnt make sense for someone who was a die hard follower[spoil:5c4b8b295b] to up and shoot him[/spoil:5c4b8b295b]. it was highly confusing. |

And GSD DVD's still sell well even if it does get crappier. That's gonna inspire Fuduka to make SEED 3. >< |

Whoa man! O_O And I thought I was angry at GSD.
Well now that Destiny is over I'll share my opinion. I think GS/GSD went over board with the Tragedy theme. Way too many civilian casualties, and not enough comic relief. Mwu and Andy are not enough too lighten the mood of the overall story. And the fact that they both get frustrated during the toughest of times just adds to the fact that they're not enough. Also, the characters are just aren't appealing enough, I mean how often have we seen them laugh? And the reused animation doesn't help either. However, the last ep did knock a good laugh out of me. I mean how easliy Terminal beat Zaft. After all of Zaft's domination, they couldn't even scratch Terminal.
So my final rating is F+. I would have given it a D-, but I thought it was unfair that the Dom pilots should survive while the Astray girls should die. Had it killed the Dom pilots and Yzak, I would have given it a D+. |

After watching the ending a second time, it wasn't as good as I had previously thought...Not nearly. You're right. It didn't make any sort of sense, and they could have done better. If another Seed series is made, Fukuda and his wife should not be put in charge. |
