I still have that clip. :) My guess is that it's a public piece of music - maybe from a well-known composer. It's not unusual for anime to re-use music from other sources. That piece in particular was only used in the Bug Style episode - which may mean they got special permission for that one scene alone to use it.

One Piece did something similiar during the episode where Luffy fights against Crocodile. Plus, sometimes the move can be done the opposite. Liberi Fatali from FFVIII was used once as background music fro the Olmpics if I'm not mistaken.

Come to think of it I remembered hearing the same song during a Sonic X comercial on the Fox Box.

I did notice a few people wanting the instrumental themes played during a few episodes of Axess and Stream.

Since I have a nifty program that rips music from videos, I was wondering if you'd all like me to upload the clips with the music?
