In issue 5 it shows Forte obtaining megaman's saito style. Is Forte strong enough to defeat Serenade with this style becoz both Forte saito style and serenade gave rockman saito a thrashing.
Also for those who play mmbn3 u all noe its serenade who gave GIGA FREEZE to Rockman so does that mean Colonel also got it from serenade? (Plz dont flame a newbie)

Erm...what? It's kinda hard to decipher what you wish to ask. Nevertheless...

Anyway....for the first question, if my memory serves me correctly, you would be correct. Then again, it's all in the plot, with the underlying theme of belief in internal abilities, tenacity and the "never-say-die" spirit, which allowed Rock to overcome in future volumes of the manga. Come to think of it, I need to refresh my memory about that...*raids a nearby Barnes & Noble*

Second question--where the hell did Colonel come from? He wasn't "EXE-ified" until EXE5. How would he have gotten his hands on a program that Serenade kept, if Serenade is exclusive to EXE3?

The Manga follows its one story line, in the games and anime Forte never had Saito style. Colonel could of got his hands on the Giga freeze program from anywhere because the Manga doesn't follow the games or the anime, it kinda mixes them togather.

Midnight Critic, are you implying that Colonel and Barrel suddenly coalesced into being when EXE 5 started? That would mean that the entire Universe consisted of Akihara, the Sci Lab complex and Downtown in the original EXE game.

No, just because Colonel wasn't introduced as a Character until EXE 5 doesn't mean that in the story he didn't exist earlier. EXE 5 was merely our introduction to him.

Think about this logically. Colonel and Barrel weren't even thought of at the time of EXE 3, so yeah, they did become real at the beginning of EXE 5

But in chronological terms IN the game they still existed! You miss the point, for example: Regal only turned up in EXE 4, yet in the Story he was around way before the events of EXE 1 started.

One, speak English. Two, don't mix dub and original names. It just confuses people.

In Forte's battle with Serenade, Forte had held back his power. Saito style would definately amply his power. Even if he did hold back with Saito style, Serenade just barely defeated him.

The manga and game story line do not cross. In the manga, Serenade gave Rockman the power of bug style and is not known if it (real life Meijin said Serenade is a hermaphrodite or something) even had Giga Freeze. Hell, Regal just pops out of no where in the manga. I'm not sure if Colonel has Giga Freeze in the game, but he has it in the manga (eighth issue, near the end right before Blues and Rock are imprisoned). They COULD have met sometime in the past, battled, and Colonel COULD have gotten it, but it is unconfirmed.

Thank you, Malik. Yes, Colonel MAY have gotten himself the GigFreeze program at some time in the past, but there is absolutely NO evidence that he did do so, either in the games or anime. Strictly canonically speaking, we have to disregard all of the hypotheticals and base our assumptions JUST on what is presented in the games and anime. I'm not saying that it is IMPOSSIBLE for Colonel to have the GigFreeze program and have met up with Serenade in the past, but with the information given, that is NOT a logical conclusion. Q.E.D. Razz

Neither Game or Anime gave it to him? Well, it is a possibility that Serenade did give it to him in the manga sometime before, but as Midnight said, there is no evidence of it. There's no evidence that Serenade even has it.
