How about a 'Users veiwing this thread'

Y'know, the thing that says how many and who(unless they are hidden) are veiwing the current thread? Not sure if there's a mod or a hack for phpbb that lets you do this.

I really don't think that's necesary. It's not really informing much, because many people can still stay hidden when posting. So that doesn't offer no benefits forum-wise really, other than 'looking fancy' and we'd rather have functionability over flashy, unnecesary elements in the forum.

Anyway...I'm sure the userlist of users browsing a forum or the board itself is fine enough. If you had such information, what would you do with it?

I think that such a thing is already in place, since when you go into any section of the forum it has a part under the moderators/administrators that work on that section it has a list of those currently viewing threads in that section. You can also check what someone is doing by hitting the "Who's Online" tag at the bottom. It will bring up a chart saying what section a person is in right then, if they are reading a thread, replying, or checking their messages. I think don't think that the extra tag to list people looking at one thread in particular is really needed.
