what is so different on the DVD's compared to the tv series so far it looks the same to me...though it is sad that when i was watching the first 10 episodes again I couldnt remember them so much had happen and the story didnt have enough linearity it kept going back and forth with those recap episode but they recaped very little, in one episode , it was like looking at the last two episodes from one persons point of view... |

Not exactly true. Some people like to re-watch their favorite episodes. And it's true, DVD quality is slightly better than the TV's quality. It usually depends on which station airs the program. |

Yeah, I can't believe people in Japan buy them for $55(Don't know how much in yen) for GSD DVD's and only like 5 epis, in the U.S. they sell for like $20-$30. >< |

The DVD's also have some special features on them, such as more information on the Gundams, which some fans enjoy. I know that the Gundam SEED DVD's that I have also have the music video by TM Revolution of the intro song. In some cases like with the "The Empty Battlefeild", Movie 1 of the Gundam SEED series, it tells the first few dozen episodes over again with some new scene's added to it that weren't in the other DVD's or aired on TV from what I can see. _________________

I hope that you don't mean Gundam SEED: Movie 1 "The Empty Battlefield", because if you do then I would like to know what I bought at Otakon, watched when I got home, and is now sitting along side my DVD's for the series. I would like to see proof positive as well that the oav or ova is cancelled as well other then just one line. _________________

I wouldn't be surprised. I'm sure some one at Sunrise is pissed at what happened with the series. _________________

OVA would most likely explain more of the questions they didn't show at the end. |

Kira gets too much attention. >> In Universal Series Amuro was only the main charater in CC and Mobile Suit Gundam. He's just a major(not main) in most of the other series. Kira is so far, main character in both. >> Hope fully he doesnt go Triple Main Character. |

The series' rating was pretty good when you compare it with the other recent Gundam series, such as Wing, G, and V. |

Most likely only because SEED was so good, the fans kept up with Destiny. _________________
