I believe it's one of those How To Draw Manga books, and the word 'Manga' is in big red capital letters.
Not like the title helps in finding it, though. ^ ^; The author is Hikaru Hayashi.

Nice picture of scythe. Kind of fanservice-y but it's good art and good art may have a little fanservice in it. The tail looks pretty cool too.

One thing I forgot to mention earlier-
The tail actually looks like its an extension of her spine, not just jutting out of her ass.XD You did a really awsome job making that look realistic.

The tail was fun to do. ^ ^ With the cross-hatching looking like scales, though.. the cross-hatching was hard. o.O

Yay, okay, I've finally gotten the courage to ask you, Featherdust, if you don't mind telling, how do you do your shading? It seems to blend together so perfectly. Your drawings are very realistic and creative. Also, I still adore the eyes, how did you do them so well, too? xD

Hum... it's kind of hard to answer. I learned the shading pretty much on my own, and practiced drawing eyes in my manga-drawing book before I drew them on my own. You've just got to practice, and practice, and practice... If I don't like the shading on my drawing, I erase it until I get it right. Critique from others helps, too.

So Scythe is a dragon-girl, eh? Nice touch on the tail. Usually, I see others just placing a tail on their character's butt. Yours is realistic, technically speaking.

Thanks for all of the comments! Haha, Panda, I would've resorted to being smart-alec the first time someone asked me. Then again... well, I'm kind of smart-alec-ish anyway. ^ ^; ...Though I can't make origamis. o.O

Anyway, I decided to update with two pics that need critique.... critique is good for my soul. :P

Vyrus.EXE
Vyrus is Forte's psychopathic-serial-killer-brother. He was in a fanfic I was writing earlier, though I discontinued it, because I can probably put him and the plot to a better use in another fic I'm starting. So yeah... He's supposed to look insane. My friend thought he looked sad. o__O;;

Antrodemus.EXE
Credit goes to Jenova Spawn for thinking of the name. I was watching my Saturday night anime and got bored... I wanted to draw Beastman, but I had no reference, so I ended up with something like this...and made it into a navi. Yay. \o/

What do I want out of this? CRITIQUE. I NEED SOME. NOW.

These are both fantastic!

Vyrus- He looks REAALLLYY evil. The shading around the eyes is extremely omnious, and adds to the psychoness. The hair is great, and the shine is superb. Overall great picture

Antrodemus- RAWR! He looks beastly. Like worse than a raptor beastly. You did a frighteningly good job making him look so damn scary.

Vyrus- Insane? Sad? I think not, I say he looks plain evil! (but it wasn't overdosed. xD) Hmm...critiques for this one? The shine in his hair on the sides seem a little smudged (unless that's what you wanted), but ah, now I see how you did it. ^o^ (although I should already know how to do them). Maybe the ear needs a tiny bit of a fixing, but I love the shading, as always. (the top of his head reminds me of a Hershey Kisses for some reason...o.O)

Antrodemus.EXE - The pose seems a little awkward in my opinion. I really like how you drew the head, the "spikes" "coming out" seem pretty close to perfect if you ask me (but then again, nobody asked me), but Antrodemus looks a little either distant or just staring at anybody who dares look at him. (It's the eye, that's all, it's all in the eye).

Yeah, and Hen-uhh... "JENOVA SPAWN", it think the reason Yar-"FEATHERDUST" seems to draw better is because her shading is a lot better than what you usually do. You try to stay away from it (kinda), but she takes it head on.

Anyways, both are awsome. Like, totally rockin'. The second guy (what'shisface) looks a bit like Beastman, but more like he was turned into a dragon.

Yo MAMA was a dragon! ooooooooooh.

Panda: HERSHEY KISSES! =D Yeah, the ear does need some work. I suck at ears... which is why I draw more navis than humans. Though Vyrus is a netnavi, he would've looked too much like Forte with his helmet on. o.O
