Or...Slur could be hiding out of sight!!! And gave good Nenji his Napalman!
Maybe Nenji found Napalm after Rockman wiped the floor with him? _________________

That's exactly what I was getting at. Since EXE 3 goes by the fact that you didn't do the Secret Area, then Rockman never fought NaplamMan either, thus making the whole Secret Area stuff a non-canon optional extra thing for the player to do after they've cleared the main story.
Or are you implying that the World 3 server still existed and NaplamMan was independent anyway, but Netto and Rock just never went there(Based on EXE 3's assumption)? |

Yes, I'm going by the fact that they still existed, even if you never went there. After all, if you didn't do the secret area in EXE1, Pharoahman still existed, as proven by EXE2 and Transmission. _________________ EXEHQ. Click now, I demand it.

Yes, but that falls down when explaing Rock's amnesia to Forte in EXE 4&5. Let's just settle it and say that the EXE characters must have bad memories. _________________

Well, considering how all of Rock's encounters with Forte after EXE 3 are part of the non-canon bits, it doesn't matter. Then again, in EXE 4 it is possible to fight Forte before you even do the asteroid, but with the random scenarios EXE 4's story is screwed up anyway. Heck, the two different verisons of every game pass 2 makes it even more screwy.
In my personal opinon, Netto went through all the tournament scenarios, even though it can't happen in the actual game.
And as for the different verisons, in my opinion the first verison of the game that's released in Japan is the canon path(Red Sun/ToB/Whichever verison of 6 is released first), and the second one is simply an alternate timeline(3 Black/Blue Moon/ToC/The other verison of 6). |

Rock HAS to encounter Forte before he fights Proto, because Forte absorbs the Guardian Program for Wily. _________________

Yeah.
With the secret areas bit, I still believe that Rock invaded the whole friggin area and destroyed it, then convientely forgot about the whole scenario. -.-
Same goes for the secret area in EXE3. I think that Rock would battle Serenade first, beat him/her, get the Rank 1, then after being deleted by Proto, Lan gives it back to Serenade afterwards.
Oh, and all of the scenarios in EXE4 - both versions - were played out, once only. =P
Whaddya think? _________________

I agree. I also believe that Team Colonel was the true timeline to EXE5. And as for Rockman forgetting about Forte in EXE4, I believe his memory sucks. But he does remember him in EXE5 oddly enough.(The real Forte, not the LoC) _________________ EXEHQ. Click now, I demand it.

Seriously, BAD BAD MEMORY! He keeps acting like "just a friend" to Maylu until the end of the game and people refer to him as just that kid. And the LoC Forte was the real one, just Rockman forgot after a couple of hours. But, will Forte have some of NG's attacks in BN6? because he goes back in the Nebula hole, makes me think hes going to absorb Ng just like in the anime.

If he does, than we shall all truly fear him. The last thing I need is for him to kick my ass with a Hells Rolling Darkness Overload Chaos Nightmare HellFlame Serpent Thousand Death Hand combo. _________________ EXEHQ. Click now, I demand it.

Forte seems to be one of those endlessly powerful bad-asses who just keep getting stronger for no real reason every time you see them. It gets rather tiring, to be honest, to see him pull a Zero and garner all the praise and admiration from the fandom for practically zero effort. -.- _________________ Stuck In The Middle With You; a Metroid and Halo crossover

But than again, this is the guy who barely survived the undernet after being falsely accused of the Alpha Revolt. Forte deserves some credit. Plus, he gains all his new power from his "Get Ability Program." _________________ EXEHQ. Click now, I demand it.

I shudder to think about Forte in EXE6 and beyond...
But yeah, BOTH Lan's and Rockman's memories just plain suck. =P _________________

I'm not really agree. I think Rock and Netto always went through the secret chapters of all the games, after all, they're all "prequels" to the next game. The fact Navis keep coming back is just a mere lazy plothole Capcom leaves behind. In EXE, Rock meets Forte for the first time, but nobody knows who's him really. There's just a voice about a Navi who stole the LifeAura. Then, in EXE2, after defeating the weak copy of Forte and Gospel, the real Forte shows up and destroys all of his weak copies in the WWW server. As you reach the place, Netto and Rock don't KNOW where they are, but they meet Forte again, again, not revealing the truth about him... but we DID know that Shoryu was just manipulated by somebody else, as it's shown in EXE3. After Rock comes back escaping deletion inside of Proto, though, we find out in the secret area about Serenade, who fought and barely defeated Forte, back then. After the Proto incident, Forte also SOMEHOW MANAGED to escape (insert another plothole here, unless it's "that part of Proto's programming that even him couldn't touch"... maybe it was an "exit" for the swallowed navis?), and fused with the leftover data of the multibug lifeform Gospel, and "healing his wounds" with the bugfrags we put in the bugfrag trader. He doesn't even remember his own name, too much of his data is screwed to actually remembers things straight, he just keeps going on, seeking for power, more and more power, as it's also shown in EXE4 and EXE5. Him merging with Nebula Gray in EXE is definitely a possibility (the anime "previewed" that, so I think they're going to let him do that ingame as well). Anyway, the REAL EXE plot paused at EXE3, EXE4 and 5 were just "side-chapters" of the real plot, unless they're going to continue the EXE3 story in EXE6, using the elements they managed to obtain in the previous two EXE chapters, featuring Regal... and I definitely hope so.
The fact Netto and Rock never remember about Forte is just a convenient plothole of the writers so to keep Forte's existance always mysterious. _________________ SPOILER:

The ending is still a bit, well, sucky. "ZOMG PH#$R TEH POWA OF LUV!~"
I had to laugh my head of though, somebody was watching me and after Saito/Hub did his naked scene when the other team Navis arrived he asked, "Are they going to go naked too?"
But still, you know anytime they want to use darkness in the plot they're going to somehow end up winding their way back to Regal. *Sigh* _________________

Lol. I can't argue with that. Maybe "Saito" is just Rockman below all the armor, it's not like Rock can take off that "tight" he wears anyway, since that's his body (read: he's always naked anyway ). But let us not open again the dead topic "Can Navis can take off their helmets or not", shall we? _________________ SPOILER:

He didn't escape, it was implied that he was rescued by what we assume is Gospel. (during the EXE 3 ending we get a blank screen with some dialogue of Forte speaking and something growling at him in response, along with Gospel's signature growl sounds) That also explains how he was able to merge with Gospel in the secret area, and why the BugFrag trader growled at you. _________________ Stuck In The Middle With You; a Metroid and Halo crossover

That still doesn't really answer HOW did he manage to get out of there. And what was Gospel DOING there? Plothole I say. PLOTHOLE. _________________ SPOILER:

Of course, this is Capcom who made the game... Can you really expect more from them? They really aren't the greatest at solid plots. The X series proves this quite nicely. _________________ There is no signature, Mister Anderson. |
