|
|
I found the new Jazwares figures yesterday of ProtoMan, MMZ Zero, Command Mission X, Rush, and CutMan, and my god, the paint jobs are even worse than Mattel's Soul Unison figures. Fortunately, they did have two Zero's that had decent paint jobs (got one to open, one to keep sealed). Oh, and the CmdMission X was the most ugliest looking piece of crap.
Zero is quite cool though, but his leg articulation is odd, and he could have used more weapons. _________________ Once I was Dr Kain, but I died and have been reborn as Gankutsuou. |

So the paint jobs were worse than a kid's meal toy? |

I don'tknow about that as I've seen some pretty good kid's meal toys paint jobs.
For example, CM X's eye had a blue blotch sloping down from his blue eye ball to his mouth, the red light on his helmet was chipped, there was paint bleeding into his face and on his chest.
Rush had globs of paint across various parts of his body, along with black specks all over it, and his mouth looked like it was partially painted as you could see little bits of white in various spots.
As for ProtoMan, well his nose looked crooked and had black paint cover a section of it like a scar. _________________ Once I was Dr Kain, but I died and have been reborn as Gankutsuou. |

>_< Blech! That sounds terrible! Where did you see them at? I haven't really seen a bad Jazzwares paint job yet. Its been the NT Warrior Soul figures by Mattel that have been crap. Then again, I haven't seen anything new from Jazzwares since the X-Buster... _________________ Power wielded by incompetance leads to nothing but self destruction. |

I found the battle dioramas of X vs Sigma and Forte vs Rock, and I agree, the paint jobs are crappy. I mean they're small figures, but they're the ONLY figures in that set... Took me forever to find decent ones.
I also found the Dr Wily lab set, and it took me 4 of them to find a halfway decent paint job on him, most of the time the grey is EVERYWHERE on his nose...
Nowhere is selling the actual action figures around here anymore, but the paint job is getting worse, maybe that's why... _________________

My local Kaybee Toy Works (the regular store in the mall didn't have them).
So, the diorama sets are out huh? I'm actually not surprised to hear the paint jobs are dreadful. Just look at their mini figure pack, you can't get worse than that. _________________ Once I was Dr Kain, but I died and have been reborn as Gankutsuou. |

You can find the dioramas and Dr. Wily's Lab set at Big Lots, Dioramas are $7.99 and Wily's Lab is $19.99 _________________ -Follow me on Twitch.tv-

They also have Wily's lab at TRU (the only new MM thing TRU has gotten since the first set of Cross Fusion figures).
Hecxz, you're lucky to have a Big Lots that actually sells stuff. Mine don't even sell the bootleg Transformers stuff. _________________ Once I was Dr Kain, but I died and have been reborn as Gankutsuou. |

I saw the dioramas at my local Big Lots too. I almost got one, but for Big Lots, you'd think they could do a little better than $7.99.
Speaking of bootleg robots, some Big Lots have bootleg Machine Robo Rescue robot sets. Which is weird because I just started watching it and then found out about the bootlegs. lol They're neat too. You'll notice them if you see things like a combining police, jet, fire engine, drill, or helicopter robo. They come in various sizes but they're neat. ^_^ _________________ Power wielded by incompetance leads to nothing but self destruction. |

How does Jazzwares even keep the license to make these crappy toys? I've yet to see even one that I'd consider buying. -_- _________________ 「無一物」

Same reason why Mattel has the license to make crappy paint jobs on their NT figures, crappy ass Yu-Gi-Oh! figures, etc. _________________ Once I was Dr Kain, but I died and have been reborn as Gankutsuou. |

But Mattel at least has one or two good toys from each line.
Jazzwares has.... nothing. Both the painting and molding is bad. -_- _________________ 「無一物」

The only part of my Cut Man figure that's ass is his right hand.
But they really half-assed him overall. There's no way to secure the cut blades on his head.... |

Do they just fall out, or is there enough friction to hold it?
Might consider returning it for another. For all we know, someone forgot to put a switch in. Or the part didn't come out right.

Nope the packagaing of the Cut Man figure mentioned no head shooting action whatsoever. You just put the cut blade in his head, it kind of sucks because it just won't stay in proper position. |
