Sunset-CosmoSwallow Fluff One-Shot Shounen-Ai

"I always love it out here, standing like this..." Swallowman breathed, taking in all the sights.

Cosmoman allowed himself a small smile at his boyfriend. Swallowman loved to journey up to this particular point of the net every few weeks, just to get away from the stress of battling. The thing Cosmoman found odd, however, was that Swallowman loved coming out to this spot every time the sun was setting.

The larger navi couldn't hold it back any longer. He had to ask the bird navi. "Swallowman...why do you love it out here at this time of day?" Cosmoman asked curiously, still smiling at the joy Swallowman expressed on his face. The bird navi turned around and smiled at him.

"Because...it's all breathtaking, don't you think?" he questioned before turning around again. "The sunset is so beautiful...I just love staring at it whenever I have the chance."

Cosmoman had to admit, the sunset was pretty nice. The sky was colored orange-red as the sun was only halfway visible, indicating that night was about to come. Sighing, he sat down on a rock outcropping. "I can see why you like it out here. It's all silent up at this point...it's like you can come up here just for some piece and quiet."

Swallowman shook his head. "Not only that, but..." he smiled again as he waled back to sit with Cosmoman, "This place always reminded me of my dream when I was just activated."

"Oh?" Cosmoman questioned, staring intently at his boyfriend. Swallowman chuckled.

"Yep. When I was first activated, I wandered around the net, not caring about wherever I went. One day, I came across this area." he said as he gestured all around him. "At the time, the sun was setting. The image was so beautiful at the time, I couldn't bear to move away until night had fallen."

"This very same area?" Cosmoman asked curiously as he hugged his boyfriend from behind.

Swallowman nodded. "I always made it a habit to come here whenever I have the time to, just so I can see the sunset."

"Heh..." Cosmoman chuckled, "Kinda like me. I'm always interested in how the planets move and how stars function, so I study them every night."

Swallowman slightly laughed as he snuggled a bit closer to Cosmoman. "Maybe...but I also have a dream." he murmured, "This dream of mine...I just want to fly out towards the sunset, to see what is beyond the horizon. The wanderer within me yearns to do it someday."

Cosmoman smiled. "You'll do it someday, I'm sure."

"Maybe...who knows?" Swallowman said as he shrugged. "But one thing is for certain..." he said while turning to face Cosmoman, "If I do decide to fly beyond the horizon, I want you to be there with me."

Cosmoman chuckled. "But you forget, Swallowman. I cannot fly." Swallowman laughed at that.

"So? Your heart is with me. They'll fly together."

Cosmoman smiled, almost looking wistful. "Perhaps..."

Swallowman sighed as he kept looking at the sunset. "Let's stay here for a bit longer, I don't know when we'll be able to do this again."

Cosmoman blinked before chuckling again. "Alright, whatever you say."

They then spent their remaining in silence as they stared at the setting sun, just basking in the beauty of it.

Well, just a quick one shot to get me motivated enough to finish the next chapter of Bonds...oh well.
