Hmm, that seems like a good drop for the Air Swords. I'd suggest dropping one Invisible * and an Attack +10 * for 2 Shadow *, the Invisible isn't a big loss since you're dropping one for another very good defensive chip and Attack +10 would be last thing you slap onto a Snake. |

Hmmm...
Snake
-------
3 Invis *
2 Shadow *
4 Snake D
4 Geddon1 *
4 Areagrab *
3 Airsword *
1 Darkman V2 D
1 Darkman V3 D
1 Darkman V4 D
1 Fastgauge * (regular)
1 FolderBak *
1 Atk+30 *
4 Wood+30 *
There we go. I decided to cut out Atk+10 TOTALLY since, true, I never put Atk+10 onto a Snake. I also took out a Darkman considering they caused flinching and Airsword didn't. Yarr 2 Shadows now. _________________

Looks pretty solid, find a way to test it and let us know the results. We'll most likely be able to fix any flaws in the folder if there turn out to be any. And I'm having trouble figuring out what to preset in my Toad Soul folder, any ideas?
Pulse Beam 3 S x4
Wide Shot 3 S x4
Geyser S x4
Ocean Seed * x3
Side Bubble 1 S x4
Double Crack * x3
Invisible * x4
Sanctuary S
Shademan SP S
Shademan DS S
Dark Wide T |

Hmm. Is there any particular reason that FastGuage and FullCust are NOT included among the list of chips in the folder? It doesn't seem that your folder would experience a detriment from actually speeding up the gauge and having bonus turns... _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! Maybe it's a Netbattling folder, in which FastGauge is rather foolish in most cases. >_> _________________ (\ ºvº\ (\

Fastgauge would hurt the folder, since all the attacks cause fliching. If Fastgauge was used, he would only be able to pulloff a couple of attacks per turn. I suggest that you put in a Slowgauge or two, so that you can use more attacks per turn. Maybe take out a Pulsar for one? |

I have a question.
I was thinking about making a Wood Folder in BN3 involving Snakes w/ GaiaBlade/GaiaSword. Also, I want to put a few more Wood-type Chips to add the strength of the folder, but I don't, however, want Spice on it. From what I've heard, Spice is easy to dodge/block with Reflect/Shield/AntiDamage/etc.
Instead, I am considering the underused Wood chip, Rope2. The problem of the matter is, Rope is one of the MOST predictable chips to get away from in BN3, but I really want to find a way to be able to use Rope effectively. Right now, the only thing I could think of is AreaLock w/ 3 AreaGrabs or an ObjectLock with 2 AreaGrabs and a Wind (or whatever). Please don't suggest Timpani, because all that does is stop the paralysis of the vines.
So, does anyone have any ideas? -_-; |

Use Plasmas and/or ZapRings to keep them in place. Sensors are a very good idea too. Then you can Rope them and laugh in their face. XD
If you were using a GaiaBlade/Sword folder, put in MasterStyle (No, I'm not on drugs here) and EverCurse. Not only the PAs are pretty powerful, but the chips are almost perfect fodder for GaiaSword/Blade (unless you were using Mines to do this). _________________

I think in BN5, EVERY Aqua chip causes flinching. >_<
Possibly remove 1 Pulsar/Pulse Beam/Bat Shot for a FullCust which is presetted. This should fare well in this folder considering, the gauge will still be normal, and it'll speed up the folder. Not to mention if your opening Custom sucks, you can quickly get another one. It also serves as a fodder for the Beat program. _________________

Well mainly it's because using Quick Guage and Full Custom shorten my time in Toad Soul, the offense of the folder. The aqua chips cause flinching, the longer the turns the more attacks I can make. |

Well, put in 2/3 SlowGauges. Why are the Pulsars in there anyway? _________________

O-kay... Let's give this a try.
This is basically a Virus Busting folder for BN5:ToC, and it's really nothing more than a stepping stone to the S Slasher folder on GFAQ's. But it's doing really doing a nice job for me.
Stepping Stones to S Slasher
3 AirHockey S
3 MarkCannon S
3 Invis *
3 Katana1 S
3 AreaGrab S
2 Sword S
2 WideSword S
2 LongSword S
2 Fan *
1 AntiDamage *
1 CrackBomb *
1 ShadeMan S
1 ShadeManSP S
1 ShadowMan S
1 SlowGuage S (<-- Buy time on Liberation Missions)
1 Guardian 0 (<-- Instant 1-turn Liberation)
This pretty much relies on Shadow Soul's ability to rev up Sword Chips and strike from anywhere on the field. Pairing a MarkCannon and a Sword works wonders with Shadow Soul. _________________

Hmm. One extra SlowGauge? Plus, the AntiDamage and CrackBomb don't look like they belong in there either... You have anything else at hand? _________________

The Pulse Beams are in there for the cheapest PA created, not including Darkness, Big Noise. If you play S-code you should be using it, since the ability to hit the entire enemy area for 400 damage, pierce invisible and stun is just way too over powered to not use. |

Agreed.
That happens to look a LOT like the folder I use for liberations...and for general play. If I can recall it off of my head it is--
2xAirshot *
2xSword S
2xWidesword S
2xLongSword S
4xAirHoc S
4xInvisible *
4xAreaGrab S
1xFstGauge * [PRESET]
1xFullCust *
1xShadeManSP (240)
1xLarkManSP (270)
1xTimpani *
3xPulsar3 S
1xDarkCirc R
1xDarkSword Z
When it is a Liberation folder, a Pulsar3 S is preset and the FullCust * and the FastGauge * are swapped out for SloGauge *'s.
I'm working on a B-coded folder that centers around WavePit and RainyDay, but I am missing quite a bit of it, and there is a lot of filler. Any suggestions? _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! But they'll have to avoid the Whammy, as they play the most exciting game of their lives! Methinks for your ToadSoul folder...
1. Numbersoul Fullcust
2. ToadSoul, Slowgauge Wideshot3, Wideshot3, Wideshot3
220+220+220=660 not bad for the second turn. _________________

I have 2 liberation folders.
Burn
------
4 Invis *
3 Slowgauge *
4 GrassSeed *
4 Redwave H
4 Firehit 2 H
4 LavaSeed H
2 Areagrab *
3 Mine H
2 CustVolt 1 *
Lavaseed, Redwave. 190 damage unavoidable. With Grass on opponent's side of the stage = 360 damage. How about dem apples? Firehit is also nice since viruses don't flinch. Slowgauge and Custvolt lengthen your turns. Mine is for fast moving viruses.
Greased Lightnin'
--------------------
4 CustVolt 1 *
4 CustVolt 2 G
4 CustVolt 3 G
4 OceanSeed *
4 Thunder *
4 Invis *
2 Areagrab *
1 Magnetman SP M
3 Slowgauge *
Double damage elec chips over ocean panels. Preffered version is ToP considering then you can charge the CustVolts up in MagnetSoul. Your turns pass REALLY slowly. Couldn't find a good G chip so use Magnetman for Unison only.
Hmm. Yarr. _________________
