Urgh, Ultimate mode for RmZ4 was worthless!
Zero 3 had absolute forte, wich maxes out zero's every skill, where Zero2 had a hilarious Ultimate Form, wich sucked big time... since it didn't fill the spaces as in Zero1 or Zero3.
In Zero 4 however, the ONLY 'profit' from ultimate is the 21 Elf Capacity Level...in wich the elf effects stack, wich is dis-benefitial since the three 'shooting elves' wich fire Thunder,Flame and Ice fire the entire time if you want that 2x Defense >.<
shrug, Zero 3 was best overall imo...

Kraft took me forever once...
because i had no life left and i tried to avoid him without taking 2 hits from him because i forgot to equip the elves
but i had the emulators...
and is it first or second time you fight him
but if it's the first....
get the EX SKill from LunaEdge (choose showy as your weather) first and get a subtank...
an easy way to get a subtank is to go to LunaEdge's stage (Ice Wolf) then there will be two routes after the stairs, go to the lower route, there will be two crab like creatures, one with a black ball and one that holds something resembling a card, steal the card from the crab and don't use it or throw it away, later on when you see a door with electricity around it, then you use the card and you can go in....
now i will ask anyone this question....
after you get pass level 8 on your elf level (get all EX Skill i think) how do you get any higher besides equiping the Elf armor
Edit: oh and if you want to know how to dodge his lasers either...
1. Get behind him and wack him with your saber or....
2. Dash at the last second under his laser
but if you can't fufill those conditions on the sub tank and the EX skill, start a new game...
but don't i repeat DON'T charge up your saber or whatever.... your Buster works as well though

@Shadow.EXE- The parts needed for Double Jump are Faital, GanGaGun, GyrocannonH and Cannon Hopper. Faital and GangaGun can be gotten in Heat Genblem's stage, while Gyrocannon and Cannon Hopper and be gotten in the Area Zero intro stage. If you need any other recipies, check Aeon17's walkthrough on GameFAQs, he has all the recipies listed, though he does use the japanese names. It's not too hard to figure out what they are.
@Kaito the Ramen Bandit- No, there is no way to raise your Elf level beyond 8.
@crudpuppet- Craft is hard, but if you have a Sub-Tank handy and maybe a few points into your Elf's Nurse levels you'll be able to beat him. No special weapons are required; he can beaten just with your Sabre's 3-hit combo. However, having the Double Jump chip makes things a lot easier.
-When he raises his gun and emits a red laser sight, jump behind him and hit him with your sabre combo. Failing that, you can always dash under his attack.
-When he jumps straight up, he'll throw a grenade that bursts into fragments. This is his hardest attack to avoid. Try and slash the grenade before it hits the ground.
-When he crouches down and tosses three grenades, you can try and back away, or you can charge forward and hit him with your combo. The damage from the grenades is minor.
-When he jumps up with his gun out, he'll use his attack to swoop along the ground. Jump up and slash him as he moves to stop the attack.
-When he points his gun upward, he'll launch a slow missle that homes in on you. Combo him, then slash the missle to destroy it. If you're close enough and already comboing him when he starts the attack, there's a good chance you'll destroy the missle as he fires it.
-His dodge roll is rather pointless and only serves as giving you an opportunity to attack. It's annoying if he rams into you with it, though.
-Try not to stay too close to Craft because he can pop out a large knife-like lance and charge. If he hits you, he'll do damage and then launch the knife and slam you into the wall for more damage. This is his most damaging attack, so avoid it at all costs. He's vulnerable for a bit after the attack, so if he missed you, you can jump in and combo him.
-Most importantly is the fact that Craft has no weaknesses or resistances, so use anything and everything you have to take him down. I only mentioned the sabre combo because he stands still long enough for you to hit him and it does the most damage.
@Elpis- Ultimate mode can be considered useless, but only if you're looking for something challenging. Ultimate mode is just flat-out fun, since you're practically invincible (2 full life bars, double defense, health drops AND double effectiveness for the health drops? Short of falling into spikes or lava, it's impossible to die!) and the Elf shots slaughter anything in your general area, you can go crazy playing the game however you want.

I'm pretty sure Gyro Attacker is the Gyrators found in Mino Magnus' stage. You can find them in the outside sections along with V-Fencers hanging around on rails. To defeat them, you'll need to attack them from behind (the side opposite of their propellers), or simply let them crash into a wall. It's a bit tricky getting their parts, however, since they're so high in the air that if you don't follow dropped parts down to the ground, they'll dissapear.

Hm, I dunno how much help I can be, considering I never S ranked those stages myself. 
For Sol Titanion's stage, stay in the shade as much as possible, use your buster to take out enemies while you're in the shade, and dash and dash jump to move through the sun as quickly as possible. The mini-boss is tough, but you can beat it easily if you use Mino Magnus' Tractor Shot to absorb the bullets the boss fires, then smacking it with the held-down Tractor Shot (you can deal insane amounts of damage by hitting enemies with the charged shot held in front of you). Try to deal as much damage before you destroy all the orbiting pods, because once those are gone, the mini-boss unleashes an attack that's difficult to avoid, and it becomes impossible to hit it with the held Tractor Shot. Make sure you hit all the generators along the way, they're all through doors that are easy to spot. For Titanion herself, use Tractor Shot to disrupt her attacks, especially useful for stopping her flamethrower attack.
Since the Ragnarock stages are all different and don't feature any especially unusual challenges, just be sure to finish as quickly as you can and avoid taking damage as much as possible. Save before each stage so you can try again if you don't get your S rank. As for the final stage, good luck, because getting an S rank from 10 boss battles is no picnic.

Hey, I finally picked up this game today. I work at a GameStop, and we haven't gotten any more copies in since its first shipment, so I finally got sick of waiting and went to EB. Low and behold, they had ONE copy left. Great thing is, with the take over/merger, I got to use my employee discount on it. So far, I've played the first three levels (well, the plant dude is the first of the 8 bosses I've played), and it is awesome. However, I don't like this new Elf System since it doesn't seem like you can get more health upgrades since there is only one single Elf now.
