Official EXE6 Discussion Thread! Spoilers Abound!

Drats! With my luck the very two Crosses I'm interested in would appear in the opposite version of the version I previously wanted. Well, Shuuko and Aqua Cross are first priority and Tengu Cross is second and if I could chosse Red over Blue for Wind Soul, and Blues over Colonel for Gyro Soul, then I'll have no problem choosing Falzor over Greiga for Shuuko, Aqua Cross, and Tengu Cross. And Shuuko did get a new outfit afterall. All the more reason to ditch Greiga!

And Falzor's box art DOES look better. Oh, nevermind, I'll be getting the English version anyway. Then again, CoA has beem doing a good job of keeping the box art like it's original Japanese versions so maybe there is hope.

Sorry if I'm bringing up old hat, but... The thread got really long on me >_>

The way I see it... I'm figuring that Capcom's gonna be going on a mission system here. And what I mean by that is this: You know how the Link System area has shots of controlling Heat/Aquaman? Well... The formula may go as follows:

Do stuff as Netto/Rock.
Find operator
Do something stupid for operator
Operator lets you pilot their Navi for a short section
After this, you get their Cross/fight a boss [that the borrowed Navi couldn't beat].
Repeat

I wouldn't put it past Capcom at this point... Seems controlling Rock takes up less and less time these days, as opposed to the olden days when you ran around the 'net all the time. Sure, you still did dumb little tasks as our bumbling hero, but...

In any case, I'm waiting for the next Corocoro to come out... Judging by past games, the contest winners' Navis will show up then. And, hopefully, a bit more information on the Cross System itself. Ach, so little info... it actually feels like it causes the time remaining to slow the hell down. Sucks.

I have a feeling that the next coro coro we see should have some info on the remaining Crosses along with the winning navi's.

Well, I saw 10/15 on the site somewhere... whether that's referring to this month's release or not, I've no clue.

Also, trolling around Yahoo Japan and popping into forums had yielded some interesting information... whether it's the TRUTH or not's anyone's guess. c.c;

Anyway, here's a bit I pulled:

Nabi goto no tokutei shinario kuria suru to "Kurosu" wo nyuushu

My translation powarz be sketchy at best, but... that seems to indicate getting a new Cross after doing some random scenario with a navi... and that the Crosses can Beast Out as well. Or... something. c.c; Someone with better translation skills than mine care to take a crack at that?

There's no way I could be correct in my previous post's guess of Cross getting, and this could still just be more speculation by some random Japanese fans, but... figured it was worth a mention.

Makes me kinda wonder what Cross Beast forms look like... if they change visually or just add power(s) and such... c.c;

Maybe it is means you can go from Cross, to Beast out then when Beast out runs out of turns you return to that cross instead of normal rock. Or maybe they will be um darker versions of the Crosses kinda like a Chaos Soul. That is my opinions. And the Coro COro stuff usually comes out around mid month, or at least that is when the scans are posted. So that means they should be up soon.

Meh, I'm just happy I can play as Tenguman. I'm wondering if something will happen like in EXE5 where [spoil:3bc3ddf17c]Rockman turned DS and you got to play as Colonel/blues permanently for a short part of the game.[/spoil:3bc3ddf17c] only this time, it happens with another navi like Heatman or Tenguman.

If they do have another Rock is stolen, and turned evil now you have to control this navi. Chances are it would be the team leader navi. Which would probably be Heatman and Aquaman for their respective teams for now, that is how it seems but we won't know 100% until the game is released.

I really, really, don't think Aquaman or Heatman would fit as a team leader. They just don't have the look or personality to me.

Meh, I tend to get both versions of the game anyway but I'll be getting Greiga first just for Slashman. Also, I'm not the biggest fan of Aquaman and his operator, so that just makes my decision easier. XP

I am getting Falzor first because my friend wants to get the Forte-sama's Puppy's look a like first. That is what he calls Greiga. Which means I get to order Falzor first. Then in december we are going to order the oposite versions just because we can. And that way we don't have to choose between the two. I wound up getting both versions of BN3, BN4, and BN5, then my Protoman version and SP got stolen, then I got EXE 5 DS. Now I am planning on ordering both of the EXE 6's.

Ya know, this will probably be the first time that I buy both versions. They have some really cool navis and some pretty interesting stuff going on there. Argh! The wait for the NA version is gonna kill me!

Not sure if anyone posted this yet, but they updated and the 'water' soul/cross has been verified to be AQUA soul/cross AGAIN!!

yes Crudpuppet if you looked at this page and the previous one we have been talking about Aqua Cross. They are not souls at all, they have the Style turn limit of no limit. Plus they are activated from an in battle menu that says in english on one corner CROSS SELECT. Meaning they are now crosses not Souls. Yet they are not Crosses as far as we know in the sense of FCR, and SCR. But that is because they are activated in battle so they couldn't really have a Mfolder -2 or anything like that, and Hp+ what ever wouldn't made much sense becasue they are in battle when activated.

So that is what we know.
