Yes, the copy of Forte did turn into Gospel. The real Forte kept destroying all the clones cause he was disgusted by them. As for all the other plot holes we have, maybe that's what the anime is used for? After all, it DOES explain how Napalmman is still alive.

No, Gospel, that's not why he's back. That is the real Forte, but he lost his memories. I don't know if he got them back or not, but it is the real him regardless.

He most likely got his memories back, otherwise he wouldn't be able to recognize Rockman... hey, did he do so in the first place when he resurfaced in the Secret Net 3 as BassGS?

No, he knew nothing. He didn't even remember his name. He even said "I exist only to fight...I have no other purpose..." And when Rockman shouts his name, he asks "Forte? Who could that be?"

Oops.. forgot about that...
Hmmm... Maybe Tamako had something on her face in EXE4, and that's why Netto didn't recognize her? 
Probably, it's because it was just a one-time 'official' encounter... Sometimes even I don't recognize people whom I met for the first time when I see them months later...
Well, at least this theory applies to Kero & Toadman (I hope)...
And remember: After EXE2, Netto never mentions anything about his father being the "Master of the Navis"... how humble...

KymeraDS, I think most likely that they are all just plot-holes. 
CFS, thanks. I guess that Forte re-recognised Rockman during EXE5 from the 'plot' of EXE4.
