Now that you mention it, the space epic does remind me of what happened in the beginning portion of Dragonball GT. On another note, what the gang are doing in Sonic X reminds me of Sonic Adventure 2 where Sonic and company had to go into space as well to reach the Ark even though the two concepts are much different. |

As for the Sonic the hedgehog movie, that was just downright awesome! It seemed more Anime-ish than Sonic X is. I'm glad I actually own it,so cool...
If Sonic can practically teleport, then of course he'd be able to survive falling from near the clouds, that's like DB totally...
I think that the best series of Sonic was the one with him,Tails,Scratch,Grounder, and the other cast, which was large and....GI-normous! _________________ "When it rains,it pours. When it pours, get out of the rain." -quoth me!

I like all the video games of sonic the hedgehog. The anime Sonic X is awesome too. The animation is nice and the story is not bad too. I like all of the characters except that big purple cat whose name I can't remember. _________________

The character that you are thinking of LystikinenaXP is Big the Cat. His character in Sonic X acts very much like his video game character in that he has a care-free life and tends to speak rather slowly. The voice in the anime doesn't quite match up to the voice in the games, but I am able to tolerate it and not think badly of how it sounds. |

Was that a joke or were you serious? Cause it'd be funny if it was a joke but kind of ironic if you were serious. |

I was wondering when a Sonic thread was gonna pop up! Probably the best memories I have are when I used to watch the RAW episodes of Sonic X. The dub of Sonic X kinda put me off Sonic. But recently I bought both Sonic Mega Collection and Gems Collection. |

Seeing that the characters resemble their video game counterparts and that Sonic X takes place in Station Square among other locations, it does make sense to include story arcs from the video games. The thing is though Magicman, is that Sonic X follows a loose storyline when it comes to these arcs. Much of what happens in the games was not mentioned in the anime as it focused on the major portions of the games it was portraying. Thus, the arcs took about five or six episodes to go through what originally happened in the game. |
