It's like this:
Nintendo Thumb
Sony Hand
Microsoft Life.
Those lights are caused by the lights out of the screen, it overloads the optic nerves and thus creates these after images you describe. _________________

Here's one after-affect from video games. If you play video games for TOO long without giving yourself a break, you can bruise your arm! :O :! It happened to me once, I was trying real hard to beat Super Mario Bros. and I never took a break. My arm hurt for quite some time. You gotta be careful about the dangers of playing video games. :/ |

That is why handhelds systems, and ALL GAMES nowadays that are for game systems come with a little Saftey manuel, or in the game booklet says DO NOT PLAY FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME. Or IF YOU EXPERIENCE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING.... STOP PLAYING, TAKE A BREAK, THEN CONTINUE LATER.
They do that to point out the dangers of the flashing lights, and that sometimes buttons can give you blisters and such. _________________ I didn't lose my mind, I sold it on eBay!

Well.... nobody. Well, I certainly don't!
Just a few days ago, I started singing the Initial D Opening Theme "Around the World" in the library, someone asked me if I was playing Streets of Rage earlier... :O
And on the same day at lunch, where everyday I get a new batch of BN4 wins on my record, cause I'm the best in my school. I started actually saying the names of chips in their Japanese ways, and then I said this when I used BlueMoon, "Shin motu sukara... MISE TEMIYU!! BLUE MOON BATTLE CHIPPU!" if it means nothing, then sorry I was copying a quote off Soul Calibur's Japanese voices.... |

Yeah I know pretty much noone reads them because they all say the exact same thing. Maybe you read the very first one that you ever get, and the second but after that you know what they are preaching so since they all say the same thing there are very few people who read them. Well I know I don't.
I was in art yesterday and for some reason the Red and White dragons from Lunar Dragon Song popped into my head. _________________ I didn't lose my mind, I sold it on eBay!

I keep all of them too, but I've never read a single one of them. They just sit in the corner in a box. Hell, I still have my Legend of Zelda:Ocarina of Time one. _________________ EXEHQ. Click now, I demand it.

I wonder how high a pile you can stack with all those unread game manuals... _________________

Unread? I read all of mine! Often when my bro is playing the game and I get bored, or I'm looking up something. _________________

I sometimes get nightmares of MissingNo. deleting all my games, and once I dreamed of my EXE3 being erased by a BugFrag glitch that has been happening with me and my friend (I just finished it friday 100%).

I was referring to the little booklets that say the exact same thing, not the little game booklets the Health and Safety Precautions Booklet. they say read the following before you or your child play videogames, and pretty much they are all the exact same. _________________ I didn't lose my mind, I sold it on eBay!

I just counted. I have fifty four health manuals. They have one for Pokemon Puzzle League, that game should have had a surgeon generals warning on it. I played it for 11 hours in between ten minute mountain dew and ramen breaks. I couldnt see very well for a couple of days. My mom took away my N64. -_-; _________________

Perhaps they should have an addiction warning attached...
Then again, ALL games (regardless of console/system) would require one.
"WARNING: Game may become addictive."

Puzzle League is teh awesome, even if the voices do get annoying.
Oh THOSE books. I've read each about once. Heck I've read the manual to my PSP (The shame) T_T _________________

shame is right. you have a PSP.
one really wierd thing that happened to me was i was playing Wind Waker. after that, i went in the kitchen for some food. just as i was turning left into the kitchen, i thought, "wait! i have to change the wind to the west! what am i talking about?"
i've only had one other experience like that. once, after talking about Sonic Adventure with my friend at lunch, i felt like i could get to our classroom faster by rolling there. i stopped myself quickly before i did anything, though. _________________ just call me xfyre. not xfyrethespooky. |

Oh please, if you turn this into a PSP vs DS thread I'll be very annoyed as they pop up all over the place on Gamefaqs, seriously that place is filled with Rabid Weasels...the truth is the platform is irrelevant and any True Gamer knows it's the game that counts.
Another weird side effect: I can remember incidental music from games I played like 7 years ago...and it'll pop into my head at the most random of times. _________________
