I used to play MTG. I had some really rare cards (Lotus Vale, I think was the rarest for Weatherlight. I had that one)
Anyone remember those Unglued Cards? I have at least 1 of 90% of those cards. I remember having like 30 Paper Tigers. _________________ War may not be the right answer, but when you're in one, ending it effectively and with positive results is a must. Vote John McCain for U.S. President.

Unhinged came out. Even more funniez. You had a .5/.5 creature that cost 1/2 a white mana to play. Yippeez.
I had about 50 Cardboard Carapaces at one stage... _________________

Well, I'd doubt it, seeing as the actual Lotus is worth several thousand US dollars on the secondary markets. But, seeing as how the general trend of this thread for now is for the joke sets, I do happen to own a Mox. And a Lotus.
It's only a Mox Lotus, though. But it's foil, and looks very pretty. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! Foil Mox Lotus? Oooh... Shiny... *gets lost in shinyness*
Anyhow, I knew someone who LOST A BLACK LOTUS. It was shoved down a toilet once, but still... Someone offered up to a thousand AUS dollars for it... - -.-
Yeah. What decks did everyone here specifially play? _________________

Yeah. happened to me with Pokemon cards. I lost a Charizard and a Nine Tails down the loo once.
I like lands. ^^ I also like Isochron Scepter.
Isochron Scepter with Counterspell imprinted + Arcane Laboratory = MUCHO PAINO! _________________

How the hell did that happen? -_-;
Anyhow, Scepter+Boomerang is probably the most deadly combo. No lands --> PWNED. Agree?
However, it is extremely difficult to maintain, of course, as it will be countered/Stifled/destroyed upon landing the board...
But if you CAN maintain it, then it's extremely deadly. _________________

Boomerang or Counterspell. Both are lovely.
It happened when I dropped my cards in the loo whilst I was pissing. Then I flushed it for a dumb reason. -____-

True, but that takes far too many turns to pull off. I found it useful in draft, though. _________________

Obviously. A lot of different combinations of cards that yield infinite of a commodity are usually too mana-intensive or too time-consuming, in a constructed game, to get off with any sort of consistency before the opponent whips his out on you. However, draft games seem to allow these types of combinations to dominate, as the pool if cards is a lot more limited and random, so in that respect, limited is a better format, since it allows for a better angle of skill to enter the game. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! Which is why cards like Harrow, Lay of the Land, Explosive Vegetation and Dawn's Reflection were created.
And of course all the tutors like Vampiric Tutor or DeathWish.
There are some easy infinite mana combo. I had one written down somewhere but whatever.
I just like to bludgeon the opponent with weenie creatures. ^_^ _________________

Was the infinite mana combo Super-Mana? AKA Wirewood Channeler, and Pemmin's Aura. If you had another elf in play, you could get liberal amounts of mana in however many quantities you wanted.
Anyone played regular Extended? I had a standard Enchantress deck, except with Soul Sculptor... :stonecube: *bricked* _________________

I'm not a person who likes to play Constructed, unfortunately. In general, the decks that run that format are filled with high-power cards that would be nearly impossible for me to obtain, seeing as how I'm rather unlucky and too cheap to afford such cards. I enjoy the Limited format, though, since there's a modicum of skill in that format that doesn't exist in Connstructed because the pool of cards is more random and limited. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! Don't forget that they are usually MUCH cheaper and easier to obtain than in Constructed. _________________
