Sweet Collection - Netto, Saito & D.Rockman - G

This is what happens when Planty looks for reference pictures of desserts and candies, pastries and other sweets. This might be an on-going series of 'one shots' for different couples. :9

Sweet Collection: An Evening Snack. (Game Cosmoman x Swallowman)
------------------

Swallowman hummed contently as he applied a generous layer of soft and creamy white frosting over a strawberry mousse cake. With extreme care, he applied the frosting over the cake, styling it to give it a weavy form. As he finished his job with the cake, he placed it in a silvery tray and took it to the living room, where a large coffee table was arranged beautifully.

The bird-like navi smiled as he arranged some decorative flowers around the tray and the cake, nodding to himself when he was satisfied with the look of the cake. Letting out a content sigh, he returned to the kitchen, where he opened the oven's door and pulled out a cookie sheet that displayed chocolate cookies in stars and moons shapes.

Placing a finger atop one of them, he pressed it gently, testing its consistency -- they were just perfect. He placed the sheet on the counter, and gathered a tiny bowl full of yellow colored royal frosting, coating the top of each cookie with it. Before the layer of royal frosting could dry out, he sprinkled the top of each morsel with long sugar sprinkles, devoting all his effort and care into each pastry, until all of them were covered and dry. He pulled another tray, much smaller this time, and carefully arranged the cookies on it, taking it afterwards to the coffee table.

Swallowman studied the table for a moment, arranging things he felt that need a touch up, or fixing carefully the position of each item displayed until it satisfied him. A soft beep brought his attention back to the kitchen where he pulled a few large glasses of chocolate mousse off the fridge, arranging delicately generous portions of whipped cream over the chocolate surfice, placing a strawberry on top of each mound of cream.

The purple eyed navi smiled and left the kitchen once more to place the treats in the coffee table, breathing in the soft scent of the tea that was bioling in the stove.

With a final glance to the work of a whole evening, Swallowman plopped in the couch in front of the table, waiting patiently for his boyfriend to come back from his dialy virus busting routine, and hoping he'd enjoy the treats he had prepared for him this day.

It didn't take long for him to hear the particular sound of his boyfriend linking into their home, making him shift slightly in the couch.

Cosmoman walked into the living room before stoping cold in his tracks unde the threshold of the door, surprised by the sweet scent that filled the room, his eyes quickly noticing the lithe form of his boyfriend.

"How was the busting today? Are you tired?" Swallowman asked with a small smile, patting the space next to him in the couch.

"Not really. It was a bit boring today, truth be said." Cosmoman tilted his head as he sat next to his lover, "What's all this?"

"I was bored and randomly began to bake a cake," Swallowman admitted as he stood up to retrieve the lavender tea from the kitchen, "Once I began, I couldn't stop until a few minutes ago."

Cosmoman allowed his eyes to survey the coffee table, chuckling softly at the star and moon shapped chocolate cookies, the cake and the mousse cups presented themselves really inviting to him at that moment.

"Like what you see?" Swallowman's voice drove the larger navi's attention away from the tempting treats in the table.

"They look delicious," The gold navi admitted, smiling as his boyfriend poured some tea for him in small and rather ellegant looking tea cups.

"Help yourself to them, then." Swallowman grinned and handed him a cup of tea, happily watching as his boyfriend reached for one of the cookies first. "Well? Are they good?"

Cosmoman didn't reply just yet, letting out a soft sight as he felt the digital treat's flavor in his mouth, enjoying its taste very much. After a few more bits he finally looked back to his boyfriend and grinned, "They're far more than just 'good'," He admitted while sipping some of his tea.

Swallowman nodded contently and cut a slice of the cake for his boyfriend, offering a bit of it to the larger gold and black navi. Cosmoman chuckled softly and obligued, allowing his lover to feed the sweet treat to him.

After a few more minutes of feeding each other with the digital desserts, Cosmoman wrapped his arms around the smaller one's slim waist, pulling close to him as he placed a soft kiss on his lips, "You spoil me so much," He teased playfully as he took another cookie and offered it to his boyfriend.

"That's because I love you." Swallowman took a bite of the cookie offered to him, "Besides, here's hoping you'll do the same for me one of these days." he joked, he couldn't picture Cosmoman spending hours in the kitchen and not blowing it up.

Cosmoman grinned and kissed the smaller navi once more. It was a good thing he had found a virtual bakery in the upper network not long ago, as he sensed he'd probably have to take a trip there in the near future. "I'm sure can manage something."

The two navis smiled and kissed each other once more before feeding each other with the sweet treats, enjoying each other's company and love, in the depts of the Undernet.

Well...I have a defense. I just ate dinner fifteen minutes before reading this. Razz

Anyway...another cute one. The way in which you describe the pastries and other baked goods leads me to believe that you enjoy cooking as a hobby, and those types of descriptions simply do not appear that often in works of fiction (at least, what I've read here.)

Good god, I just ate. Now I want cake. You dastardly so-and-so. Excellent job nevertheless.

Oh. THe cake sounded so mouthwateringly delicous. It was adorable, though I don't think I'll ever get over some of the couples you come up with. I loved it though, you should write about two navis sharing dessert more often. I'm a fan of sherbet myself.

Planty your definitions of couples are just... I don't know, weird.

I know you like Bishounen stuff, and I admit I do to but seriously, it's just hard to picture CosmoMan and SwallowMan, sitting in the Undernet, enjoying a cup of tea, along with some cake. It doesn't fit.

I'm not saying I don't like it. I do like it, but your fics of the Darkloids being very affectionate for each other doesn't seem characteristic of them.

I don't like bishounen stuff, I think you mean shounen ai. Last I checked, Cosmoman doesn't fit 'bishounen'. It won't make much sense to you to just read this one without reading Sol's and Mine's fanfics about these two. Or mine in this case since all my Cosmoman x Swallowman fiction is game based and I explained how this couple came to be in the first place.

Swallowman is not a darkloid in the game, please pay attention to the fact I said this was 'game based' RIGHT AT THE TOP OF THE POST, and for what little bits of his personally can be seen in the game, he's got a rather nice and kind personality. And I wasn't aiming much for keeping 'In character' anything here. n.n;

I think this is adorable, and just from what I know about you Planty and reading the title told me that it had something to do with sweet confections. :P But still, I didn't expect it to be as good as it is, even if I did think it was going to be good... it was beyond expectation! I think that Cosmoman and Swallowman make a very good couple, given what I can tell of their personalities. xP

Bwahahaha.... I'm going to rant. Remember the sweet collection is just an excuse for me to have the EXE characters baking, buying, enjoying, candies and sweets with their loved ones. I don't go by one single canon with ese stories. I can go AU, Game based, Anime or even Manga if I gather the information I need. So yes, don't be surprised by 'random things' that you did not see in the game or in the anime. That said, This one is for Neko. Because she requested.

Warnings: This is totally AU with possible Stream Spoilers.

Sweet Collection - Saito, Netto, Dark Rockman - Not Shounen Ai.

Saito Hikari smiled as he stretched happily in the streets. It was a rather sunny day in Akihara and his school day had just ended. His twin brother, Netto, had to leave school an hour earlier for a meeting with the Net Saviors headquarters.

Admiteddly, Saito felt a little bored without his brother's chatter in the way back to their home. That was, however, until his green eyes stumbled with the vitrine of a candy store that was opening that day.

"Well, why not?" He smiled to himself and decided to go inside and take a look.

The store was small but every wall was covered to the ceiling with shelves displaying boxes or sheets of chocolates. The mixture of smells made Saito's nose tingle lightly, it wasn't an unpleasant feeling, in fact, he did like it. Behind the main counter, where another vitrine exposed several sheets of waxed paper displaying little chocolately treats, a couple of ladies arranged freshly made pieces of chocolate.

"Can I help you?" A lady asked behind the counter, smiling to the green eyed boy.

"I'm just looking for now, thank you." Saito smiled and looked around the store. He had never seen so many chocolates in his life in so many varieties. Dark chocolate, light, creamy chocolate, white chocolate. Even pieces of colored chocolate for different festivities.

"Netto would sure like this." The green eyes boy smiled and pulled out his PET, Dark Rockman grumbled as he was summoned into the screen. "Sorry to bother you, but I need you to check out some purchases for me." Saito apologized.

"That's alright." Dark Rockman muttered. Being shared by two brothers wasn't exactly an easy task for Dark Rockman, but at least Saito was rather sensible about the use of the 'shared' navi.

The brown haired boy smiled and selected a few pieces of chocolate he wished to purchase, smiling as Dark Rockman transfered the credit of his allowance to the cashier machine. "Thank you, I'm sorry to bother you."

Dark Rockman mumbled something about returning with Netto for the meeting, Saito nodded and plugged Dark Rockman into the phone line network to go back to the Net Saviors headquarters.

Later that evening, Netto returned to the Hikari residence, tired from the meeting and dreading the homework that he was sure awaited at home. Saito would surely shove a book in his face the second he stepped into their bedroom.

"I'm home!"

"Welcome home, Netto. Did you eat yet?" Haruka asked from the kitchen.

"Yeah, Enzan ordered food during the meeting. I'll go back to my room, mama!" Netto rushed upstairs to his room, Dark Rockman grunted something about Netto eating half of the food all by himself.

"I'm home ni-- woah!" Netto gasped in surprise as he opened the door of his and Saito's bedroom. Arranged neatly in a tray that rested in the carpet, laid several small napkins with a large assortment of chocolates of different kinds. PET Shapped little pieces of colored chocolate were the first to catch his attention.

"What is all this?" Netto arched an eyebrow, noticing the cans of soda that Saito had arranged next to the tray of sweet treats. Saito giving him sugar? Now, that was unusual.

"I found a really nice chocolate store in the way back from school. I thought you'd like some." Saito stated simply, motioning for Netto to take seat in the cushion he set for him.

Netto raised an eyebrow but didn't ask anything else, sitting down and plugging Dark Rockman into the local network. Saito smiled as he took a piece of dark chocolate entwined with white chocolate to form a shell of sorts, taking a small bite from it as he looked down to his book to do his homework.

Netto watched his brother for a while before imitating him, taking instead a piece of chocolate shapped in the form of a trunk, filled with raspberry jelly. Not long before that, Saito handed netto his homework, both boys chattered softly, helping each other in their homework as they enjoyed the sweet morsels.

Dark Rockman sat in his cyber space, watching the twins through the digital display. It was the first time since he was handed to them that he had seen Netto and Saito do their homework so peacefully and nearly quietly. He couldn't help but smile lightly, amazed at how different yet so alike they were. he appreciated the calm, truth be said, a day with Netto actually doing his homework without complaining to hell and back.

The red eyed navi could say the boy was actually enjoying what he was doing, a rare sight coming from the young net savior. He sighed and relaxed, unable to take his gaze away from the twins, watching them as they carried on, between sips of soda and pieces of chocolate.

"They're not sleeping early tonight." He chuckled to himself and rested his head on his hand, still watching the brothers enjoy their time together.

Wow.

Dark Rock being a joint navi for the twins is certainly an interesting idea, and, well, I've never seen anyone try to portray him in that fashion. Nevertheless, the chocolate marches on, and not only does it help the protagonists bond, but it also makes me hungry too. Dammit. *flees for food*
