Chapter 1-7: A Bombarding Battle
Seven days have passed since the battle against FireMan. Because of his battle, he has become stronger and more determined to defeat Dr. Wily and his robot masters. But on an unexpected day, that determination was to be put to the test. It all began when Rock and Daniel were doing another one of their jogging exercises in hopes that Daniel would lose weight. Fortunately, Daniel had lost now 10 pounds and is almost on his way to reaching his goal. Rock is training in hopes of becoming stronger so he would have what it takes to battle Dr. Wily and his robot masters. Unbelievably, his training was going to put him in a situation where things were going to be explosive.

Daniel: "I can't keep up with you, dude. Even though I lost 10 pounds as it is, I don't think I can reach my goal for the annual competition."

Rock: "I don't care. Saying that proves you are a quitter. Besides, with the weight loss that you'll be going through, you'll be more satisfied about yourself. I don't know why but you act like a complete idiot sometimes and plus, you are so foolish over this."

Daniel: Alright already. Dang, when it comes for someone that wants my help, you really have a one-cracked mind. You are a humanoid; you train like crazy if you want to be stronger. I'm only human and I don't have the same limitations as you do."

Rock: "Don't matter. Let's get going... if you can keep up, that is?"

Daniel: "Damn you, Rock. I'll show you."

Rock began running faster than anyone and Daniel began to catch up. Rock had a smile on his face knowing that Daniel is doing whatever he can to succeed. In another part of town, a red van was heading towards an apartment in New Light City. When it stopped, several people came out of the van and they were all involved in helping someone move his stuff inside. Something freaky was going on for some reason as some guy came out and took a good view of the town. He had long white hair that was straight and long going down to his legs. He wore an outfit of a red jacket, black shirt, blue jeans and red sneakers. He had crimson red eyes as he looked around and saw the place he would be living. One of the members came near this person and that was when he turned around and decided to reply.

Moving Worker: Bret, all your stuff is moved inside your apartment. You are ready to enter."

Bret: "Okay. Thank you. Your work here is done. Here's a little something that all of you can share."

Bret took out his wallet and brought out 200 dollars in which he gave it to one of the moving workers. Fortunately, his life in New Light City was going to be a very interesting thing. He went inside and checked out his whole room. It was just a normal room except with the addition of his room complete with a TV, computer, bedroom and a place where he can put his clothes away. He smiled and then looked out the window showing the beautiful city of New Light.

Bret: "I'm going to enjoy living here."

He looked at his watch and saw that it was time for him to go out. It was a watch that was similar to Rock's watch except that the color of his buttons were reversed meaning that one button is red and the other is blue. The instant he locked the door, he went off to enjoy the day and with a small smile he heads off towards the city.

Bret: "Let's see what this city can satisfy me. I hope I can find me something worth the effort."

Meanwhile, Daniel and Rock were enjoying a relaxing break after a tough jog. Daniel was breathing heavily after having to follow Rock throughout the whole park. Rock was nearby relaxing while enjoying a drink of water.

Rock: "So, you feeling better about yourself David?"

David: "Yeah. I'm feeling better now. I'm really tired now and I've had enough for one day. Whew, I feel bushed."

Rock: "Why is it that every time I try to help you, you end up complaining your sorry ass over it. You really have issues, man."

Daniel: "Is that right?"

Rock: "Yeah, that's right. I know for a fact that you have faith in your body but that's not like most people..."

That was when an explosion was heard and it took place in the central area of town. The both of them heard it unbelievably and that was when Rock transformed into Mega Man NG. With a yellow Dash Condor fishy, he was able to make it into the area and finds out the cause of all of this; its some of Dr. Wily's robot masters out to cause some serious trouble. Mega Man NG jumps off the Dash Condor fishy and immediately, he gets set for battle.

Mega Man NG: "Well, well... did Wily hire you bunch of morons to do his dirty work?"

CutMan: "Oh no. If it isn't that goody two shoes humanoid, Mega Man."

GutsMan: "That metal meddler has gotten in our way too many times. He beat the heck out of FireMan."

ElecMan: "I'm going to enjoy sparking up his tree."

BombMan: "Step aside, you bunch of morons. You all couldn't beat Mega Man and Wily had to bring you back no matter how many times. It's time I handle this so move it!"

CutMan: "Okay, fine. No wonder you are so insecure about yourself."

GutsMan: "Yeah, he's so hotheaded."

ElecMan: "This is so unbelievable."

The other Robot Masters moved aside and that was when things were about to take a very unexpected turn. Mega Man NG was going to enjoy the battle even though he's up against a ticking time bomb. Mega Man NG heads forward into the battlefield and he was ready to unleash the first strike.

Mega Man NG: "Let's do this. CustomSword, battlechip in!"

Armed with a CustomSword, Mega Man NG was on the attack but BombMan had different plans up his sleeve and it wasn't going to be an easy thing. BombMan blocked the CustomSword with only his arm and then BombMan struck him hard with a powerful punch sending him to the ground. Battling BombMan wasn't going to be an easy challenge and if things were going to get bad enough, he also had an explosive personality to go with it. Mega Man NG hit the air and used his CustomSword to unleash a powerful wave of energy. BombMan dodged the attack and Mega Man NG knew that this isn't an easy challenge.

Mega Man NG: "Dang it. BombMan is really giving it his all big time."

BombMan: "Time for you to get struck down, mega jerk."

Mega Man NG: "Try me."

BombMan: "Have it your way. Beetle Gun!"

BombMan's hand turned into a Vulcan Gun and immediately fired several shots. Mega Man NG had to be on the move and quick in hopes of getting the job and getting out of harm's way.

BombMan: "Alright, jerk. Let's see what you are made of. Hyper Bomb!"

BombMan brought forth two black bombs and immediately threw them like baseballs. Mega Man dodged the black bombs and rushed straight for BombMan. Giving him a headbutt in the process, he immediately sends BombMan straight down to the ground. That was when BombMan softened his landing and was on the move again.

Mega Man NG: "Okay, time for me to send you up to sea. SeaSeed, battlechip in!"

He threw a blue seed into the ground which immediately formed water which gave BombMan a dive and then Mega Man NG has the opportunity to go on the offensive.

Mega Man NG: "Let's see what you are capable of, BombMan. ElecBlade, battlechip in!"

Mega Man NG's right hand turned into an ElecBlade and unexpectedly, he aims straight for the water. The ElecBlade hit the water and that made BombMan really confused as to why Mega Man NG would do such a move like that.

BombMan: "What's your deal? Why the heck did you miss me?"

Mega Man NG: "If you were paying attention, I think right now you are getting an electrocuting wake-up call."

BombMan: "What?"

The ElecBlade's power is triggered giving BombMan a major electric shock and that immediately sent him flying. Fortunately, it gave Mega Man NG the strength needed to finish the job and fortunately, it was going to work big time.

Mega Man NG: "Time for me to end this once and for all. Program Advance! ShotGun! CrossGun! V-Gun! SideGun battlechips in!"

A powerful white light emerged as Mega Man NG lifted his arm powering up an ultimate weapon. When the light dissipated, he immediately revealed it to some large Mega Buster with a powerful lock on capability.

Mega Man NG: "Hyper Cannon!"

Instantly with the push of a button, he fires a destructive blast of energy which seriously engulfed BombMan in the blast. Unfortunately, he couldn't control its power but that is when he lost balance and then the radius of the blast was shifted upwards and immediately, a building gets completely consumed by the destructive power of the Hyper Cannon. When it powered down, he saw a building was completely demolished by its power. Everyone was shocked but Mega Man NG was shocked the most because he was the one who did this. When he checked for BombMan, he was gone. Unbelievably, it seemed that he escaped. Knowing that he has somehow failed to defeat him, he hits his fist to the ground and heads off. High over a rooftop, a mysterious figure watches over what has happened but for some odd reason, all he does is watch. Meanwhile, Mega Man NG powered down and as Rock, he enjoys a relaxing day at the hot spa.

Rock: "What's happening to me? I've been so out of shape today. I can't control the Hyper Cannon in that battle. Even in the simulations, I'm losing my touch somehow. Maybe after I got the Soul Unison Fire Soul, my skill has been decreased. FireMan, what would you say if you were here?"

That was when he closed his eyes and entered a period of deep meditation. That was when in some unknown area, he sees FireMan and the two of them enjoy a chat together.

FireMan: "What is the problem, Mega Man? It appears that your skills are starting to fade."

Mega Man NG: "I know. My skills are real off after my battle against you. What do you think its the problem?"

FireMan: "I believe your soul and your heart are not intertwined. In my last battle against you, your heart and soul was intertwined like a powerful warrior. Even though I was a villain, I fought you with honor and that was something that not even Dr. Wily understood. I believe that you must bond your heart and soul with the power of the flame. Once that is taken care of, your strength will burn like a meteor shooting through the stars."

Mega Man NG: "Maybe you are right. I should try using the power of the Fire Soul. Who knows what it can bring me?"

FireMan: "My spirit will be always with you no matter what. I promise you that you will succeed."

Mega Man NG: "Thank you."

That was when a light flew in and immediately Rock woke up from his deep meditation. It turned out that it was Doris giving him his towel. Knowing that he has suffered a volatile situation, Doris decides to help him out.

Doris: "Master Rock, is everything alright? I heard that you have lost your touch somehow when you were fighting Dr. Wily's Robot Masters."

Rock: "Yeah, that was the case. Unbelievably, you are right. Doris, I need your help. I need to go through some training again if I'm going to get stronger. For some reason, I've lost my touch and I feel so bad about it too."

Doris: "I understand, Master Rock. I'll do whatever I can to help you but first... you need to get yourself dried up. Any more minutes and you would be wrinkled up like a prune. I don't think your robotic body can handle that can it?"

Rock: "No way, Doris. I'm not going to be turning into a prune ya know that?"

Doris: "Don't worry, Master Rock. I'll see to it that you are alright."

Rock: "Thank you."

Rock immediately dried up and the both of them went off to the simulator. Hoping to help perfect his touch that FireMan had mentioned, Doris made sure to help him anyway possible. Doris made a few modifications in hopes of having the simulation set to Rock’s preferences.

Doris: “Okay, Rock. We are ready whenever you are.”

Rock: “Roger that, Doris. Let’s hope that this simulation will help me restore my touch.”

Doris: “Don’t worry. I will increase the level of the simulation as you train. Remember, if anything happens during the training I’ll shut off the simulator.”

Rock: “Roger.”

Rock transformed into Mega Man NG and instantly Doris started up the simulation at level five. The background of the simulation was a normal city and Mega Man NG was watching his surroundings. Everything was normal but that was when he witnesses some sort of powerful robotic spider. Mega Man knew what he was up against and was on the offensive.

Mega Man NG: “Time to take out this spider. ElecSword, battlechip in!

Armed with an ElecSword, he took a high jump and was ready to impale it to the robotic spider. But that was when the spider’s head began to move faster and with it, he began to lose balance. That was when he decided to get rid of the spider by means of another method.

Mega Man NG: “Looks like this strategy needs a new approach. WideBlade, battlechip in!”

His ElecSword was then replaced with a WideBlade and with it; he went under and started to take out the robotic spider’s legs one by one. When that happened, Mega Man knew he had to take care of business and so he continued slicing down the legs of the robotic spider. While that was taken care of, the spider began to lose its balance and unbelievably it began to fall. Mega Man NG took a jump high into the sky and then he rammed the WideBlade into the robotic spider’s head. Instantly, it began to lose control and Mega Man NG got it in balance. With just a strike of his WideBlade, the robotic spider was reduced to nothing and instantly Mega Man NG took a sigh of relief.

Mega Man NG: “Okay, Doris. Time to level it up on the simulator. It seems that I need more of a challenge.”

Doris: “Alright, sir. I’m increasing the simulation now to level eight. You’ll be having more of a challenge.”

The simulation was activated and that was when he was high in mid-air armed with a Dash Blazing helping him hit the sky. A giant robotic falcon was nearby and that was when Mega Man was on the move.

Mega Man NG: “No wonder I hate birds so much. Thunder Ball, battlechip in!”

Mega Man NG’s WideSword was turned into an electric shooter and with it; he began charging electricity and with it fired several shots paralyzing one of the wings. With the left wing paralyzed, he is on the move yet again.

Mega Man NG: “Time I let my fists do the talking. BronzeFist, battlechip in!”

His Thunder Ball shooter was replaced with a BronzeFist and then immediately he struck a powerful blow to the robot falcon which caused it to go berserk. As long as his BronzeFist was jammed to the robotic falcon, he was staying in balance.

Mega Man NG: “Time now to ditch this ride. AreaSteal, DashAttack, battlechip in!”

He immediately vanishes and then rides on a Dash fishy hoping to be out of the enemy’s way. The robot falcon immediately goes out of control and explodes. He smiles knowing that he kicked some butt big time. After a sigh of relief, Doris increases the simulation’s strength to level eleven. That was when things were about to get serious.

Doris: “Mega Man, the danger level in the simulation is now eleven. Be ready for what you will expect, ok?”

Mega Man NG: “I will. I promise you that I will succeed.”

That was when another giant robot appeared and unfortunately, it turned out to be a robotic mantis. Things were about to take a very drastic turn as the robotic mantis immediately went on the attack and Mega Man NG had to take some immediate action.

Mega Man NG: “Damn it. Looks like I’m really going to get serious with this stuff. It’s time to go on the move, AreaSteal, battlechip in!”

Mega Man NG immediately vanished without a trace and dodged one of the robot mantis’ attacks. Mega Man immediately knew what job he needed to do and that was to unleash the full power of his strength into one Program Advance.

Mega Man NG: “Alright, it’s all or nothing now. Program Advance! ShotGun, CrossGun, V-Gun, SideGun battlechips in! Let’s do it!”

Once he merged all four battlechips together into an ultimate weapon, he knew that he had a job to do. That was when a bright light emanated from forming the Program Advance revealing itself to be the Hyper Cannon. He had a hard time controlling its power before and that turned out to be extremely risky. That was when he decides to unleash the full power of the Program Advance, calmly and carefully.

Mega Man NG: “Alright, now. Time for all the marbles… Hyper Cannon activate!”

He aimed the Hyper Cannon at the robot mantis and knowing that he will take a big risk decides to go for it no matter what. Once he pressed the button, he unleashed the Hyper Cannon at full power. Hoping to master its strength, he held on hoping that he wouldn’t mess up. The robotic mantis began taking in damage and began to fall apart. He was certain that he would destroy it in one try but somehow, the robotic mantis is somehow hanging on. That was when he hollered unleashing the full strength of the Hyper Cannon and the robotic mantis was instantly obliterated. He immediately powered down the Program Advance and looked at the robotic mantis now; reduced to scrap ready to be heading off to the junkyard. Mega Man immediately took a sigh of relief as the simulation ended now with the power to control the Hyper Cannon program advance.

Doris: “Mega Man, you were awesome. You finally have gotten your touch back."

Mega Man NG: “Definitely. It’s good to be back with the skills I once have. Huh? What’s going on?”

Doris went to check out what was happening in the city and as it turned out, Dr. Wily was up to his old tricks but unbelievably, there’s only one robot master there and it turned out that he wants a fight. Realizing of the situation, Mega Man NG decided to head off and stop the situation himself. Mega Man NG arrived and saw BombMan causing destruction towards the city and Mega Man NG had to stop him no matter what.

Mega Man NG: “BombMan. I knew you would have a short fuse for this stuff. I’m going to stop you right here, right now.”

BombMan: “I’d like to see you try, mega wimp. Here, let’s play with these. Hyper Bomb!"

BombMan brought forth two bombs and threw them straight for Mega Man NG. He immediately dodged the attack and was ready to counterattack with everything he had. That was when Mega Man NG went high into the air and then he was armed and ready to fight.

Mega Man NG: “Time for me to show you what I can really do. Watch this, WideSword battlechip in!”

Armed with a WideSword on his left hand, Mega Man immediately struck BombMan but his arm blocked the WideSword attack and that was when he was resorted to various other measures. That was when he went to the ground and attacked with the WideSword sending BombMan to the ground but BombMan had another opportunity to counterattack and that opportunity was now.

BombMan: “Here, take this! Let’s play ball with my Bomb Swing!”

He grabbed two of his Hyper Bombs and threw them like baseballs and that made Mega Man NG be on the move. Unbelievably, Mega Man NG moved fast and quick to dodge the Bomb Swing attack but that was when he counterattacked with an attack of his own.

Mega Man NG: “SideGun, battlechip in!”

His WideSword transformed into a SideGun buster and with it, he fired a blast that split into three equal blasts unleashing an unbelievable amount of power in bashing BombMan. That was when BombMan had an angry look and was determined to finish the battle in just one strike.

BombMan: “Okay, mega twerp. You are asking for it big time. I’m going to unleash an attack so fierce that it’ll drive you mad. Unfortunately for you though, even if you dodge it this entire city will end up in oblivion.”

Mega Man NG: “I’ll take a risk. I ain’t moving anywhere and plus, you are going down before you unleash your big attack.”

BombMan: “We’ll see about that. Let’s see you try to stop me. In fact, I have a bet I’m willing to make. Here it is: if you can stop me before I unleash my ultimate attack which will be in the next 60 seconds, I’ll accept defeat. If not, your city is history.”

Mega Man NG: “Fine, I’ll take the risk.”

BombMan: “Have it your way. Let’s see you try to stop my ultimate attack, Big Bang Blast!”

Mega Man NG: “I’ll stop you before you unleash the Big Bang Blast. Program Advance… ShotGun! CrossGun! V-Gun! SideGun, battlechips in!"

Mega Man NG unleashes a bright light once his hands were in the air. Unbelievably, that was when the Hyper Cannon was in position and ready to fire. BombMan brought forth a giant Hyper Bomb and that was when Mega Man NG immediately unleashed his weapon at full power while BombMan gave the Big Bang Blast a powerful kick and instantly both attacks were unleashing full force.

Mega Man NG: “You won’t win, BombMan. I promise you that I will win and I will beat you no matter what it takes.”

BombMan: “We’ll see about that because you don’t have a chance against the likes of me. After all, you will never be victorious against the likes of me.”

Mega Man NG: “Okay, then. Let’s see you try to hold against the likes of my Hyper Cannon.”

That was when Mega Man NG unleashed major strength to the Hyper Cannon and that was when the Big Bang Blast immediately was consumed and then it was wiped out. BombMan was shocked to see that Mega Man NG had obliterated the Big Bang Blast. That was when Mega Man NG had everything necessary to deliver the final blow.

BombMan: “No… no way!”

Mega Man NG: “Time to finish this once and for all. Muramasa Blade, StepSword battlechips in!

Mega Man NG transformed his arm into a long samurai sword that was glowing red because of the increase of strength and the amount of health that he lost. Instantly, he raced with an AreaSteal like speed and instantly struck BombMan with a powerful slash. Instantly, he was destroyed and that was when Mega Man held on with the strength he had.

Mega Man NG: “Like I said, BombMan. Anyone who tries to cross my paths will feel my wrath. Whew, what a day this has been. I’m out of here.”

As Mega Man NG went home, someone from up above witnessed the entire battle and unbelievably, he saw that there was more to him than meets the eye. As he vanished off, Mega Man NG was enjoying a nice rest after an intense battle.

Rock: “Whew. Battling BombMan really pushed me to my limits. I have to admit that this guy is really something when it comes to battling. FireMan, I thank you for giving me the strength to revive my skill.”

As he saw the sky above, FireMan’s spirit watched over him and smiled with a flaming passion. Knowing that there are many challenges ahead, he had to take a good precaution knowing that evil would strike again. The battles would be tough and furious but only one outcome would come for this; it would be an unknown outcome.

On the next Mega Man: New Generation
Mega Man NG has battled against robot masters and even those that gave him a good fight. But nothing would prepare him for a battle such as this. Enker and Bass puts Mega Man NG in a serious disadvantage and when all hope is lost, a mysterious warrior in red comes to his rescue. Who is he and why did he rescue him? Good job, LgacyDX. Everything I read this I think about Rock from the original series becoming MegaMan EXE. I don't know why?

Chapter 1-8: The Good, the Bass and the Blues Part 1

At Dr. Wily’s laboratory, Wily was constructing robot masters in hopes of defeating Mega Man but it turns out that the robot master he is developing are considered to be more powerful than Wily’s normal robots. Hoping that the new robot masters would help defeat Mega Man, he put all his time and energy into making them stronger.

Dr. Wily: “It seems that my robot masters have failed to defeat the blue dweeb so with these new robots, Mega Man won’t stand a chance against the likes of me.”

Bass: “You called for me, Dr. Wily?”

Dr. Wily: “Yes. It seems that you have known much about our worthy adversary and it seems that after every encounter, you get stronger and stronger.”

Bass: “What’s your point, Wily?”

Dr. Wily: “My point you say? My point is that I need all the tactical information that you have acquired when battling that blue dweeb. I need only a small amount of data because it will be helpful in making my new robots stronger.”

Bass: “Alright, but you better hope that the data I have containing my battles will be beneficial for this.”

Dr. Wily: “It will be beneficial for us. I promise you that.”

Bass: “You better be right, Doctor.”

Dr. Wily took Bass to a data downloading section and then he had Bass shut down while he began downloading visualizations of the various battles that Mega Man had fought especially against the likes of Bass. From one battle to the next, Wily had watched every battle and every outcome hoping that his new band of robots would not make the same mistake.

Dr. Wily: “This data is unbelievable. I’ve never seen this boy fought against an unbelievable opponent. This data will be very necessary for my new robots. You have helped us well Bass and I hope that you will not fail.”

While Dr. Wily continues to see the data that Bass had of his battles with Mega Man NG, Rock enjoys a break rollerblading through the streets of New Light City. With Daniel following him, they both enjoy a normal day in the city. But like all days, something should definitely go wrong.

Rock: “What’s up, Daniel? You can’t keep up with me? Looks like you really are out of shape, Daniel.”

Daniel: “Hey, it’s not my fault man. You are as more energetic than I would anticipate.”

Rock: “Hey, you need to keep up man. If you want to lose weight, you got to push yourself to your limits.”

Daniel: “You want me to show you what I’m made of, Rock? Come on, fool! I’m ready to go.”

That made Rock smile and that was when Daniel caught up and the both of them began chasing each other throughout the entire city. Instantly, that was when the both of them reached the central area of the city. They saw some of the many sights such as the Robot Museum, various restaurants, as well as the New Light Arcade where various battles take place. They powered down their skates and checked out the New Light Arcade. New games had appeared and it seemed that it sparked both of their intentions to play them.

Rock: “Hey, there are new games here. Wanna check them out, Daniel?”

Daniel: “I’m so looking forward to this big time. Hey, they got the new SNK vs. Capcom Chaos game! I’ve been looking forward to playing with this for a long time.”

Rock: “You look forward to playing almost every game as far as I know.”

Daniel: “Very funny, Rock. Anyway, what game are you going to play?”

Rock: “I’m playing those flight simulating games again.”

Daniel: “What’s with you and those games anyway?”

Rock: “I love those games and they provide me a challenge ya know. You seem to have a way with this type of crap ya know that!”

Daniel: “Okay, I’m sorry if I offended you but I feel that you have an obsession for these games.”

Rock: “Who cares? At least I’m better than you in these games.”

Daniel: “I’m better than you in fighting games but in flight simulating games, I suck at those.”

Rock: “That’s the other way around and I knew that someone like you has a way with showing off.”

But before they could continue arguing, they began hearing cheers from another area of the arcade. It was when they saw someone playing a fighting arcade game and he was having a winning streak of 75 wins and was considered undefeated. When Daniel and Rock came to check it out, they saw some kid with white hair and they were shocked to see someone with a winning streak that high.

Daniel: “No way! This kid has 75 wins and he has never lost? Who is he?”

Rock: “We’ll find out when you get the chance to beat him. What game is he playing?”

Daniel: “From the looks of things, Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and that game had been out in stores a year ago.”

Rock: “You are right. No wonder this place is so popular nowadays. They have games that range from the old all the way to the new.”

Daniel: “You really have no sense of humor, ya know that?”

Rock: “Shut up.”

As the kid with white hair was beating another player in Marvel vs. Capcom 2, it was then that Daniel couldn’t waste any time and decided to get himself involved in the battlefield. After the game ended, the young kid sighed knowing that there wasn’t anyone in this place worth to be a challenge.

Bret: “Come on. I expect something better than this. Who else wants a challenge against me?”

Daniel: “I will. I demand to know who the hell you are.”

Bret: “You have a bad attitude for demanding but I guess I’ll tell you anyway. My name is Bret “Blues” Richards but I’m to be called Bret.”

Daniel: “Bret?”

Rock: “That name… it’s so familiar to me.”

Bret: “You want a shot at me or not?”

Daniel: “Yeah. The sooner we get this over with, the better I get the opportunity to beat you and put you to shame.”

Bret: “Whatever. I’m going to enjoy humiliating you.”

Daniel inserted a quarter and then he was ready to choose his team to play Marvel vs. Capcom 2. After choosing his team, he was ready for one heck of a battle. Bret however was not hesitant but calm and collected hoping that his enemy would be easily defeated.

Rock: “Come on, Daniel. You can do it.”

Bret: “He doesn’t have a chance.”

As the game began, Daniel and Bret were giving their all unleashing various attacks towards each other. Daniel was rushing through hoping to finish off the battle as quickly as possible but Bret was calm and waiting for his opponent to make a critical weak spot and then unleash no mercy.

Daniel: “I’m going to put an end to you once and for all.”

Rock: “Damn it, Daniel. You are so insufficient and plus you don’t know that Bret is expecting you to do these things.”

Bret: “And now you are going down my friend for this is the end.”

Daniel: “What? Impossible!”

Bret immediately unleashed his finishing attacks in the game and unbelievably, he beat Daniel. Daniel was shocked to see how strong Bret turned out to be. It seemed now that things were about to take a much unexpected turn as Rock steps in to show Bret what he’s made of.

Bret: “You are a waste of my time. Get out of my sight!”

Rock: “Hey, I’ve had enough of how you treat others to begin with. If you want to pick on someone, pick on me.”

Bret: “You’ve got guts for a fool like you.”

Rock: “It’s not guts. It’s the strength I have for my friends and what you’ve done is totally unacceptable.”

Bret: “Just shut up and show me what you are made of.”

Rock: “As you wish.”

Rock then inserted a quarter and chooses his characters. Fortunately for what Bret doesn’t know was that Rock had been training in secret not only battling against Dr. Wily’s simulations but playing fighting games without Daniel noticing. Bret was going to be experiencing a worthy adversary but only time would tell.

Rock: “Show me what you are made of.”

Bret: “I’ll end this faster than eating strawberry ice cream.”

Rock: “Bring it on, fool.”

The game started off with Rock gaining the upper hand by using air combos. Bret was not enjoying what was about to happen as Rock was gaining the opening hand striking Bret where he least expected it. Bret didn’t like what he’s seeing and that was when he takes things to his own hands.

Rock: “What’s wrong, Bret? You aren’t so tough.”

Bret: “I’ll show you!”

Bret immediately did an offensive move but that was when Rock found his weak spot and unleashed an attack that was so unbelievable, he was immediately defeated with just one strike. Bret was shocked to witness utter defeat but it was instead utter embarrassment.

Bret: “No! How can he beat me? He’s different. How can he be the one who defeated me with just one strike? This is unbelievable.”

Rock: “I knew the kind of technique you used against Daniel can be mimicked so I thought I would use a technique of my own and then boom, I beat you. It was so easy that you don’t even realize it.”

As Bret left in disgrace knowing that he lost, everyone cheered for Rock as a new champion was crowned. It was awesome that someone would gain victory so easily but Rock was something else. Rock and Daniel left the arcade seeing a disgraced Bret looking down in shame as if reality hit him hard like an anvil soaring down through the sky in a speed of 700 mph going through the Earth. Rock goes to give him support but that was when he was going to experience a side that not even he will realize.

Rock: “Hey, are you alright?”

Bret: “No. I’m not okay. I was known to be undefeated in that game and then someone like you beat me. How did you get to be so good?”

Rock: “This is why I practice. Practice makes perfect for me.”

Bret: “I see. No wonder you say that your friend wasn’t an easy challenge to me. He was too predictable.”

Rock: “Predictable? I doubt it. My best friend Daniel doesn’t like practicing and he is somewhat not too good to battle with.”

Bret: “I’d figured you would say that. No wonder he is such a wimp.”

That was when an explosion was heard and immediately, it sparked Rock big time and then when he turned around, he vanished. That was when he saw Enker and Bass and they were ready to kick some serious butt.

Rock: “Uh oh. It’s those idiotic morons again.”

Daniel: “Why is it that every time Wily and his band of robots decide to cause havoc, they have to cause havoc while we are around?”

Rock: “Daniel, find a safe place while I deal with these bunch of morons.”

Daniel: “You got it.”

As Daniel went off, Bass fired a shot of his Bass Buster and then Rock jumped high into the air and then he transformed into his alter ego. Ready to fight, he charged straight for them and immediately fired several Mega Buster shots.

Mega Man NG: “Let’s see you try to dodge these.”

Bass: “Oh, don’t worry. You are not escaping from me this time. Sword, battlechip in! Let’s go Enker.”

Enker and Bass jump high into the air and they began to go after Mega Man NG with everything they had. Mega Man NG had to retaliate and he had to make it quick.

Mega Man NG: “Two against one, eh? AquaBlade, AquaSword battlechips in!”

Both his arms turned into aqua-based swords and immediately repelled the attacks that Bass and Enker unleashed. He then went straight down and immediately counterattacked with everything he had. That was when Bass and Enker double teamed Mega Man NG and he ends up on the ground.

Mega Man NG: “Oh, damn. I’m so not going to like this.”

Bass: “That’s right, blue boy. It’s over for you. You think you can outwit us with the same tricks over and over? You are so predictable.”

Mega Man NG: “Actually, you are someone that loves to be predictable too.”

Bass: “What do you mean? What are you up to?”

Enker: “Yeah!”

Mega Man NG: “That was a fake you just assaulted.”

Mega Man then went poof and all that was left of him was a dummy and that made Bass and Enker shocked. The next thing they encounter is Mega Man NG high in the air and that was when he immediately was armed with both his aqua weapons and struck them both with a powerful double aqua attack. Bass and Enker tasted some water and then they got up seeing Mega Man NG ready to fight again.

Mega Man NG: “What’s wrong, Bass? Didn’t like the fake I brought out at you.”

Bass: “No. That was so wrong, ya know. You are so going to pay for that type of assault, man.”

Mega Man NG: “Bring it on, boy. I’m always ready for you.”

Bass: “As you wish. StepSword, battlechip in!”

Mega Man NG: “You think a move like that will stop the likes of me. I know every move that you can pull and one of them is this. AntiSword, battlechip in!”

Once Bass pulled his StepSword attack, Mega Man NG used only his two hands to block the attack. Bass was pissed to see something as unbelievable as that and Mega Man held the sword by using only two hands. That was when he pushed it up and immediately struck a counterattack at him. That was when he jumped high in the air and immediately was ready for a counterattack.

Mega Man NG: “You are so predictable, my friend. Time for me to finish this once and for all. DrillArm, AreaSteal, GaiaHammer battlechips in!”

Mega Man’s right hand turned into a DrillArm and then he drilled straight for Bass and Enker. They dodged the attack which caused Bass to drill straight to the ground. Next, he uses AreaSteal to keep up with Bass and Enker and then his DrillArm turned into a GaiaHammer and immediately, he smacked it to the ground and that turned Enker into junk but Bass got out of its way and was ready to counterattack with everything he had.

Bass: “Prepare for your obliteration, blue boy. WhiteWeb, battlechip in now!”

Bass unleashes a WhiteWeb that traps Mega Man NG in its grip and unbelievably, prevents Mega Man NG from escaping Bass’ sticky prison. Bass then got up and saw Mega Man NG struggling to escape and that was when he had a smile in his face knowing that he would finally defeat him once and for all.

Bass: “I have waited a long time for this. DrillArm, battlechip in!”

As Bass began spinning the DrillArm, Mega Man NG begins to panic as Bass begins to have a sadistic smile within him. As he was about to make the finishing blow, Mega Man NG shut his eyes and that was when a powerful blast of energy was fired stopping Bass in his tracks. Bass then looked around to see if there were anyone else around but that was when he sees a warrior in red appeared with an expression that was as serious as his skill. He was a warrior in red who had the same armor design as Mega Man NG but his helmet was very different.

Bass: “Huh? Who the heck are you? You have no right to get in my way.”

Proto Man NG: “I’m Proto Man NG and you have no idea how powerful I can become.”

Bass: “Is that right eh? Try me, ya red head.”

Proto Man NG: “You’ll regret this. Sword, battlechip in!”

Proto Man NG’s arm cannon changed into a sword but it was colored red instead of the normal blue color. Bass wasn’t surprised of Proto Man’s new appearance and style as he jumped high in the air and fired several Buster shots. Proto Man NG immediately deflected them and that was when he went up in the air and immediately struck Bass with a powerful slash.

Bass: “What kind of person are you?”

Proto Man NG: “I’m similar to Mega Man in every way but I possess abilities that are somewhat different than him. Observe! FireSword, battlechip in!”

Proto Man NG’s sword turned into a Fire-elemental sword and then Bass charged at him again. Even though he’s not armed with any weapons, he has a plan at least in hopes to defeat him. The instant Proto Man NG swung his sword, Bass jumped high into the air and fired a couple of shots but with only a second to react, Proto Man swirled the sword to instantly neutralize the attack. Bass didn’t like it and that was when he decided to take a more drastic measure.

Bass: “This is getting out of hand here. CustomSword, battlechip in!”

Bass’ arm turned into a CustomSword and that was when things were about to get more interesting. Proto Man NG was well aware of what he was seeing and clashed against him with everything he had. Meanwhile, Mega Man NG was struggling to try to get out of his WhiteWeb prison.

Mega Man NG: “Got to get out of this sticky mess. Salamander, battlechip in!”

Mega’s body began to be engulfed in flame and that was when he immediately he got out of his WhiteWeb prison. With no time to waste, he immediately was on the move hoping to stop Bass and making sure that he would be able to get the job done and help his new ally.

Bass: “I’m not letting you get in my way. You are nothing me than just an insignificant little thorn in my way.”

Proto Man NG: “And in case you haven’t noticed, my friend has gotten out of his prison and now he’s ready to kick some sorry butt.”

Bass: “What?”

Mega Man NG: “KnightSword, battlechip in!”

Mega Man NG’s arm turned into a KnightSword and then he was ready to fight against Bass. Bass didn’t like the numbers especially since this isn’t a battle Bass couldn’t win.

Bass: “Damn it. I wasn’t expecting this. I’ll spare your hides for now but the next time we battle… there will be no mercy.”

Bass immediately vanished out of the blue the instant he said those words and both Mega Man NG and Proto Man NG were all by themselves. That was when Mega Man NG looked at Proto Man NG and then they began to speak.

Mega Man NG: “Whoever you are, thanks a lot.”

Proto Man NG: “I think I should be thanking you. But, you are someone that is strong in the battlefield. Don’t disappoint me, Mega Man NG.”

Proto Man NG immediately vanished out of the blue and that was when Mega Man looked high into the sky. He had many questions that he wanted to answer. Unbelievably though, there would be a time and place for it. As for Bass however, he’s not pleased with the appearance of Proto Man NG. Knowing that this would be an unfair advantage, he comes up with a plan. What the plan will be is much unknown.

The young teen named Bret is now seen again at Dr. Light’s lab and that gave Rock a sign meaning something was up. If things weren’t bad enough, Bass and Enker want revenge from their previous battle. This means one thing, Mega Man NG and Proto Man NG must join forces in a 2-on-2 battle to stop Bass, Enker and a giant robotic snake threatening to engulf the city with its appetite. Can the both of them team up and kick butt? Find out in the second part of this exciting chapter, The Good, The Bass, and the Blues.

Okey-dokey, everyone. After a long while, here's the conclusion of the two parter of Proto Man's arrival.

Chapter 1.9 – The Good, the Bass and the Blues Part 2
On our last chapter of Mega Man: New Generation, Dr. Wily has been secretly developing stronger robot masters in hopes of defeating Mega Man NG after his previous robot masters have encountered countless failures. Bass sees what Wily plans to do and the evil doctor asked him for his help. So, Wily downloaded from Bass data from all the battles that he had when he fought Mega Man NG. Wily was shocked to witness that all his battles were as intense as the next. Meanwhile, Rock and Daniel arrived in an arcade in New Light City to discover a champion in a fighting game that is unbelievable. At first, Daniel gets a shot at him but gets utterly defeated, but when Rock takes a shot at this champion he beats him with skill. When Rock tries to help him, he doesn’t get much response from him. However, when the likes of Bass and Enker show up, Mega Man NG steps in and was ready to battle him. Mega Man NG was winning the battle so far but when Bass trapped him in the WhiteWeb, things weren’t going good. Just as when all hope seemed lost, a warrior in red appeared and saved him. The warrior was Proto Man NG and he gave him a peace of advice: “don’t disappoint me”. What did he mean by that? Find out in Part 2 of The Good, the Bass and the Blues.

As Rock and Daniel went home from an intense day, they relaxed in the living room area of Dr. Light’s home. Exhausted from an epic battle, Rock took a long rest while Daniel played some video games. Dr. Light came by and saw Rock exhausted after an intense battle and decided to step in.

Dr. Light: “What happened, Rock? You seem to be exhausted after a very tough battle.”

Rock: “The battle I had was too intense and plus, it drove me nuts. I need some rest, grandpa. That battle really took a lot out of me.”

Dr. Light: “I see. You’ll need to have your strength restored to full in case Dr. Wily prepares to attack again.”

Rock: “Do you have something that can take care of that?”

Dr. Light: “I have developed something new that can help you regain health in a short amount of time.”

Rock: “What do you mean, Dr. Light?”

Dr. Light: “Let me show you.”

That was when he showed Rock a green can which contained some sort of energy liquid. Rock took a look at it and that was when he took a sip of it.

Rock: “This drink is kind of good. What is it, grandpa?”

Dr. Light: “It’s an energy canister. It supplies a powerful dose of energy when you drink it. You need at least energy in hopes to handle yourself in battle and that battle you had really taken a lot out of you.”

Rock: “Why is it that every time I give it my all, I never get a chance to take a break?”

Dr. Light: “This is what it’s like when you are a hero. Heroes never get a break because it’s their sole responsibility to get the job done and save the world from the forces of evil especially when it comes to the likes of Dr. Wily.”

Rock: “Nice job, grandpa. Looks like that this will seriously help me when the situation gets critical.”

Dr. Light: “I made this one for you hoping that you would get the energy needed to get back on your feet.”

Rock: “Yeah, it tastes great.”

Dr. Light smiled as Rock drank the entire can and with it, his energy was back to full strength and he was raring to go. After taking a stretch and enjoying himself, he decided to look for Doris in hopes he can get something to eat. Fortunately, he found her in the attic cleaning and was pleased to see him again.

Doris: “Master Rock, it’s good to see you again. How have you been?”

Rock: “I’m feeling as good as new. What are you doing?”

Doris: “I’m cleaning the attic under your grandfather’s orders. How may I help you?”

Rock: “When you are finished with cleaning the attic, can you make a chicken salad with ranch dressing?”

Doris: “Of course, Master Rock. This will take a few minutes so you might need to be patient.”

Rock: “Sure thing, Doris.”

As Rock left the attic, Doris continued cleaning hoping to get it done and help serve Rock his lunch. Meanwhile, Rock went to the living room and saw Daniel playing video games. He decided to get started on his homework hoping that he would get the job done, he would be better than Daniel in his school work.

Rock: “Okay, let’s see here. I got various math problems I have to deal with along with that report. I just hope that I can get it all done before the deadline.”

Doris: “Master Rock, I’m finished with the attic. I will now start with making your salad.”

Rock: “Thank you. Oh, can you fetch me a diet soda?”

Doris: “Right away, Master Rock.”

With the attic all cleaned up, Rock continued on with his homework while Daniel continued playing video games. Meanwhile at Dr. Wily’s lab, Bass was undergoing repairs at his body after his unbelievable battle with Mega Man NG and Proto Man NG.

Bass: “Damn, that red head was very powerful. His attack was unbelievable especially with the use of his sword-type weaponry. Wait a minute, if he uses sword-type weapons, then that means that he can also use battlechips just like me and the blue dweeb. This makes things even more interesting. Wily, are the repairs on Enker complete yet?”

Dr. Wily: “Yeah, the repairs are complete. For what purpose do you need Enker?”

Bass: “Mega Man NG has gotten a new ally and he’s as strong as the blue brat. I need to make sure that those two go down for the count.”

Dr. Wily: “You really are very pessimistic, Bass. You know our robot masters have fallen at the hands of that blue boy. What makes you think that this one will help you win?”

Bass: “Because I’m helping you modify him to make him even more powerful.”

Dr. Wily: “Is that so? Please explain.”

As Bass discussed with Dr. Wily about how Enker would be modified, Rock was undergoing a workout exercise in the simulation room with the help of his personal maid, Doris. Rock was training against various robotic enemies and was using lots of skills to take the bad guys down. Armed with a WideBlade in one arm and a MegaCannon on another, he was bashing through everything in his path. Hoping to be stronger in battle, he decided to use a balanced amount of battlechips in hopes of getting better in perfecting his battle skill.

Mega Man NG: “These robots just keep coming. Why don’t they ever learn to quit? KnightSword, StepCross battlechips in! It’s time to take these robots to the scrap heap.”

Instantly, he used his KnightSword to strike down all that stood in his way and then some. When it was over, everything around him was reduced to scrap and he took a deep breath and relaxed. He immediately sat down as the simulator came to an end.

Doris: “Excellent job, Mega Man. You are becoming better than I have anticipated. Looks like you have at least improved in your battle skill. I’m proud of you.”

Mega Man NG: “Thanks, Doris. I feel very proud of doing this training. Now I’m improving in my skill big time.”

But before he was to enjoy his break any further, that was when an alarm was heard and the two of them immediately went off to the laboratory to see what was the situation at hand but it turned out that Bass and Enker are causing havoc in the main area of New Light City.

Doris: “Oh no, Dr. Wily doesn’t learn when to quit. He sends out his robots to cause havoc but something isn’t right. I feel that there is something wrong.”

That was when they heard the ground shaking and they looked to see a robotic snake coming out and made a giant hole. The both of them were shocked to witness something like that and that was when Mega Man NG had an angry look in his eyes.

Doris: “You got to be kidding me! Dr. Wily has really gone mad this time.”

Mega Man NG: “You said it. I’m going out there to stop him.”

Proto Man NG: “Not by yourself you are not.”

Mega Man NG: “Huh?”

That was when Proto Man NG was nearby watching and hearing everything that has happened. Mega Man NG was shocked to see Proto Man here as things were about to take a more drastic turn.

Mega Man NG: “How in the hell did you get here to begin with?”

Proto Man NG: “Dr. Light invited me over.”

Mega Man NG: “My grandpa?”

Proto Man NG: “Looks like I know who you are, Robert Light.”

Mega Man NG: “Damn you.”

As Mega Man NG took off his helmet revealing himself to be Rock, it only took him one lucky guess to reveal who Proto Man NG really is.

Rock: “You are so good at this stuff, Bret Richards.”

Proto Man NG: “Damn it. You are a sly fox!”

Then, Proto Man NG took off his helmet revealing himself to be Bret since the both of them knew each other by their looks. Doris was immediately confused as what was happening here.

Doris: “This is so unreal! Who’d figured that someone that Master Rock has encountered would be an ally of ours.”

Bret: “I don’t know why you figured me out but you have some issues.”

Rock: “We can settle this later. Right now, we got to team up and beat the heck out of Bass and Enker as well as dealing with that giant robotic snake that Wily has brought out into the city.”

Bret: “Why would that old hag Wily want to bring out a snake into the city?”

Rock: “I have a possible hypothesis and I don’t know if I can support it.”

Bret: “Just say it, don’t hesitate.”

Rock: “Looks like Wily plans to use the robotic snake to push the city deeper into the earth.”

Bret: “It’s just as I feared. It seems Wily has really gone off the deep end.”

Doris: “I dislike interruptions but I believe that you two should head to the city and stop them.”

Rock: “She’s got a point. Come on, Bret. We got a job to do.”

Bret: “I agree.”

As the both of them immediately went off to the city, Wily’s robotic snake immediately pops out of the blue and strikes again towards the ground causing various earthquakes throughout the city. Bass and Enker were over the rooftops seeing Wily’s snake borrowing through the ground and rising again.

Bass: “Wily’s plan is working like a charm. The entire city will soon be submerged into the bottom of the earth’s core.”

Enker: “And when that’s over, we’ll be going after major cities all over the world. New York, Los Angeles, London, Tokyo.”

Bass: “Don’t get over your head. We still have a job to do and that is to make sure Wily’s robot snake does its job.”

Enker: “Soon enough though. The entire planet will fall to its doom.”

Proto Man NG: “Not while the both of us are still standing.”

Mega Man NG: “That’s right.”

Bass: “Blast! It’s the blue dweeb and the red head.”

Enker: “Looks like we have ourselves a tag-team showdown, Bass.”

Bass: “You said it, Enker. Come on!”

Mega Man NG: “As you wish! Let’s go, Proto.”

Proto Man NG: “Right.”

The both of them got into the rooftop of the building and were ready to do battle, tag-team style. Of course, they had to deal with the giant snake that threatens to put New Light City deep into the ground but the both of them were certain that they had to get the job done no matter what.

Mega Man NG: “Looks like we are at a disadvantage, Proto Man.”

Proto Man NG: You said it and things are about to get a little more intense.”

That was when Wily’s robotic snake appeared and it had an evil look in his eyes. That was when the situation was about to become even more intense.

Mega Man NG: “Well, well. It’s Wily’s robotic snake. This is going to get too intense.”

Proto Man NG: “I hear you. Let’s get started with this battle. Sword, battlechip in!”

Mega Man NG: “LongSword, battlechip in!”

Mega Man and Proto Man were armed with their main weapons and were set for one heck of a battle. Bass and Enker dodged their opening assault and were ready for an assault of their own.

Bass: “That is so predictable. Time for us to show you what we can do. Katana, battlechip in!”

Enker: “Enker Spear!”

Bass brought forth a katana-like Samurai Sword and Enker brought forth a large spear. That was when they unleashed their first strike and both Mega Man NG and Proto Man NG blocked their assault and then countered. Both teams unleashed everything they had and both sides didn’t hold back not even for an instant.

Bass: “Impressive. You both countered with everything you had but it won’t be enough to stop us and our robot snake.”

Mega Man NG: “We’ll see about that. SilverFist, battlechip in!”

Proto Man NG: “Looks like we’ll need to strengthen our advantage. SlowGauge, CustomBolt battlechips in!”

Mega Man NG’s sword turned into a SilverFist while Proto Man NG’s sword turned into a CustomBolt while the SlowGauge started to increase its strength. Mega Man hit airborne and launched his SilverFist at Bass while Enker uses a charged-up CustomBolt to fire blasts of electricity which made Enker be on the move.

Enker: “You are good but I’m better. Mirror Buster!”

Enker lifted his spear high into the air and that was when he formed a powerful barrier which absorbed the CustomBolt attack. Unbelievably, Enker immediately formed a barrier that absorbed Proto Man NG’s attack, amplified it, and then re-directed it.

Enker: “How you like your attack, lava lamp? I just sent it back!”

Proto Man NG: “That’s what you think. I was expecting a move like that. ElecSword, battlechip in!”

Proto Man NG’s CustomBolt was then turned into an ElecSword and immediately he absorbed the attack. Fortunately, he had an eye for an eye in the situation as he struck Enker with the ElecSword.

Enker: “Damn. I really didn’t like that. I’m going to have to get drastic with you now! Dashing Strike attack!”

Proto Man NG: “How foolish! AreaSteal, battlechip in!”

Proto Man NG used an AreaSteal to dodge Enker and his Dashing Strike attack. That was when he re-appeared and using his ElecSword, he struck Enker by the back side and was hit hard in the process. Meanwhile, Bass continues to have his battle against Bass and things were taking an even more drastic turn.

Mega Man NG: “Time for you to go down with a bang. AquaSword, BambooSword battlechips in!”

Reaching high into the air, Mega Man NG unleashed both his weapons and then Bass dodged the bamboo attack but was pummeled by an aquatic wave. Bass got up and that was when he decided to go for a more drastic method in taking him down.

Mega Man NG: “How do you like that?”

Bass: “Ha! That attack was nothing to me. But, I have a lot something to counter that.”

Mega Man NG: “How can you be so sure?”

Bass: “Watch this. Attack, my robot snake!”

That was when the robotic snake appeared out of nowhere and it immediately caught Mega Man NG off-guard. Before it was about to devour the blue bomber, Proto Man NG immediately came and held the robot snake’s mouth giving Mega Man NG the opportunity to strike back.

Proto Man NG: “Mega, take down that snake. I’ll keep both those bunch of buttheads busy.”

Mega Man NG: “Right. Time to end this with my personal favorite. Soul Unison Fire Soul!”

Mega Man NG then roared as his body began to be absorbed in immense flame. Then, he stretched his arms and revealed his Fire Soul form; an exact similarity of FireMan himself. With that, Mega Man had a plan and he required the help of the robotic snake.

Mega Man NG: “Proto Man, let the snake devour me. I’ve got an idea!”

Proto Man NG: “Are you crazy!? You do realize that if the robot snake eats you, you’ll be melted.”

Mega Man NG: “Just trust me. I know what I’m doing.”

Proto Man NG: “Alright, if you say so. I’ll keep Bass and Enker busy.”

Mega Man NG: “Thanks, Proto Man.”

Proto Man NG immediately let go of the snake’s mouth and then just as it was about to swallow Mega Man NG, he jumped inside it. Now, inside the robotic snake he hopes to put an end to it once and for all.

Mega Man NG: “That snake really has bad breath. Time for me to give it heartburn. Heat-V, battlechip in!”

Mega Man NG’s left Fire Arm turned into a Heat Buster and immediately he fired multiple shots of Heat-V throughout the snake’s interior area. The more he fired his Heat-V, the more heartburn the robotic snake began to endure. Bass looked at the snake and saw signs of red appearing all over him.

Bass: “Huh? What’s going on with the snake? Why is it burning up?”

Enker: “It seems Mega Man must have found a weakness in our robotic snake. Our snake’s getting heartburn.”

Bass: “Heartburn.”

That was when Bass saw a Heat-V blast emerging from a hole of the robot snake and that was when things were about to get even more fierce. Mega Man NG did as much damage as possible and that was when he decided to take things up a notch.

Mega Man NG: “Alright. It’s time to finish this. Salamander battlechip in!”

Mega Man NG’s body was completely engulfed by Salamander and with his unbelievable rage, he used Salamander’s power to completely dismantle the robotic snake and all that was left was a melted glob of rubble. Bass and Enker were shocked to witness their plan go up in flames especially since Mega Man NG was the one who burned things up.

Bass: “No! Our Robo-Snake! It’s reduced to ashes.”

Mega Man NG: “Time to end this once and for all! Salamander unleash now!”

Mega Man NG used the power of Salamander to incinerate Enker as he was reduced to smoldering ash with just one strike. Bass was next and was struck hard and was damaged severely. Mega Man NG got out of the Salamander and then saw Bass, wounded and damaged.

Mega Man NG: “How do you like that? Don’t mess with the NG.”

Bass: “This isn’t over yet, mega dweeb. I promise you this, I’ll be back.”

Bass immediately used an AreaSteal and that was when he was gone from their sights. Mega Man NG and Proto Man NG looked at each other and then they shook hands but immediately, they laughed and cheered.

Mega Man NG: “You were awesome, Proto Man NG. Who would figure that you would have the same abilities as I do?”

Proto Man NG: “You aren’t bad yourself. After all, you are very strong in your own way. I’m very proud of you. It turns out you surprise me with that technique of yours. I’m impressed with your skill. You seem to not disappoint me after all. I hope that we become allies in the future.”

Mega Man NG: “I hope so too.”

Proto Man NG: “We will meet again.”

Mega Man NG saw Proto Man NG head off into the unknown. As legendary as he is, Mega Man NG was pleased to have him by his side. Unbelievably, with a new ally by his side it would mean one thing; Wily will be more determined than ever to destroy them both. Fortunately, the battles will be tough as well but only victory is certain that this battle will be endless.

On the next Mega Man: New Generation
Wily’s new breed of robot masters are ready to go and the first one is determined to take the job and show Wily what he’s made of. A fleet of air ships appeared and for some reason, there is no known purpose for it. When Mega Man and Proto Man NG try to reach the ships, no luck was made. But when the true mastermind appears, what will happen? Find out in the next exciting chapter, An Airborne Assault.

Definitely. TenguMan will make an appearance in the saga. Every robot master from the original Mega Man is involved in this fic.

This was a great chapter, but I find myself wondering whay Protoman really is. It is impossible that he is another human/bot cross, since rock was the first and I doubt that he is a robot because that would make him have no relation to rock. I guess it is possible, though this is my least favorite possibility, that he is just a human in cool armor. But either way, it is nice to see a new character show up.
Also, it seems odd having Doris be so servile. It would be interesting to see her show more freewill and be a friend to rock and Daniel.
Lastly, You might want to make your paragraphs smaller.

Yeah. And Chapter 10 will be awesome. So, if you have any suggestions for me to do like crossovers, please don't hesitate to do so because I'm always interested in new ideas. Of course, I have plans for two new sagas which will be involved in the Mega Man: New Generation story.

Saga Four - Awakening of the Beasts
This will involve Mega Man NG uncovering the legend of two beasts that once destroyed the world millions of years ago. It will have Soul Unison and the new Cross System.

Saga Five - Epilogue: Project X
The final saga which it involves Dr. Light's grandson not only fighting evil that still wouldn't die and developing a new breed of robot in which he calls it, Mega Man X.
