ok here is what i have heared about the link pet
1 it has a touch screen
2 beast out is somehow possible
3 there is someway to change what is called you navi skin(probably a way to get a new navi picture on screen)
4 it is able to use advance and progress chips
5 you can buy an arm band thing to wear it like how they do on the show
6 no hollogram (well duh)
that is what i have heared not realy sure if it is true so dont blame me if i am wrong
by the way does anyone know how much it will cost? ^_^ |

1- confirmed, after all it has a stylus.
2- the progress had cross fusion, probably the Megaman data chip activates it, I mean there are two color schemes one for Falzor, and one for Greiga(white and black frames) so that version + Megaman navi data chip= Beast out?
3- Ah the mysterious 13 different Navi JACKETS, I believe they are skins as in NDS SKINS, GAME CUBE SKINS, not image changers. The skin just changes the outward apearance of something not the inner info. So you can change it from NETTO's to Meiru's by use of a skin. cover the emblem with a skin sticker, and the blue part with pink. (Currently the different skins are unknown so yeah I was using Meirus as an example. I believe it will come with Netto, Laika, Enzan, and Dingo skins since another topic mentioned 4 versions and those were the versions mentioned but from what we can SEE there are two, both styled like Netto's but I think those are the skins it comes with.)
4- Makes sense, because the progress was backwards compatable.
5- AWSOME, if this is so I definately want, I'll order it and the Link Pet first chance I find some where good to get it. Plus then at lunch outside I'll walk around with it on. I'll work on a Costume for next halloween so I can be NETTO. I am not doing anything this halloween but next year if I have the LINK PET and band I'll be NETTO.
6- That is a no brainer.
As for Sam's question The BEAST CHips are the ones used in BEAST, go to the main site, then site updates, there should be an image of the ZET saber battle chip under one of the headings. That is from BEAST.

i have heard that you can use something like the Progress PET when you jack in a navi chip you can use that navi. I hope thats true.

I think you may be thinking of the EXE 4.5 Battlechip Gate, you could put in chips to that to unlock Navis in the game.

Or the EXE 5, progress chip gate, for the progress battle mode, in which you slot in NAVI DATA CHIPS to switch the navi used. It is just an additional Minigame type mode as far as I could tell.

I cannot wait for this too come out!
Choosing my own Navi Skins and Maybe even a Forte Skin! Or FCR Skin.
The Touch screen is a nice touch for the new PET. The Link PET is the exact same ting for an iPod For my point of view~!!

The link pet is only around the size of an I Pod, it can't download stuff from I tunes.
There will probably me no Forte, or FCR Skin because forte doesn't have a PET, and FCR was in the movie, and EXE5 only so I doubt that Rock would ever merge with Forte again for FCR.

Theres A Megaman/Rockman Forte PET And Forte Doesn't have an operator or a PET. But,, Still theres hope!

| If you all take a look at the battle network 6 boxart, It looks like it has functionality with the GBA/DS, so imthinking this thing has capabilities of doing more than we currently know, & if you dont believe me, look for the EXE6 boxart & look at the lower right corner, theres a triangle with the link PET, a GBA, & a DS |

Well from what I can see the only color is off of the screen, the yellow and stuff seems to be touch menu buttons that arnt part of the actualy veiwing screen that has rock on it. But the sprites in it seem to be in Black and white.

Does anybody know if it will take in older battlechips?
(argh I only have a few progress PET chips, but I have alot of Advanced PET chips)

according to shockman.exe it does have coplete backwards compatability with the advance, and Progress chips. I hope that is true, and chances are it is true because people who are getting this in Japan are likely to have the older chips.

does anyone know if the PET can jack into the internet, I have heard both ways, some people tell me it can and some tell me it can't. Also I have heard that it can jack into the Game Boy Advance is that true also.

about the internet jacking into they did make Digimon Digivice that could jack into the internet, but it doesn't matter. I was just saying that because I have heard some people say that it could and some say it couldn't. As for the jacking into the Game Boy Advance i'm almost possitive that it can.

No toy can "jack in" to the internet, it's just not possible. And unless I'm mistaken, we barely know anything about the toy Link PET. I don't even know if it's out yet.

it's not out yet but someone said it was the new Chip Gate. It gives info in japanese on amazon.co.jp the japanese amazon.com. As for the Digivice i have it. I comes with a jack and a CD. You put the CD into the computer and than i believe you jack in the Digivice. I heard the computer game wasn't very good though.
