Well people say, Anything is possible so I guess there would be some comprimises, and tweaks that could be made inorder to make an YGO/Rockman Cross over work.

Of course, a KH crossover with anything isn't that hard to do. Sora finds a new world that he needs to lock up, this world just HAPPENS to be the one that you're doing the crossover with, no setup required.

YGO and EXE can be crossed believably. I'm going to attempt it... as soon as my brain wakes up x_x

You couldn't cross the game systems. They're just too incompatible. The most you might get away with is using a select few equip magic cards on a Navi, or maybe a few traps, but trying anything else would be completely WTF-ish. As long as you didn't try to integrate Duel Monsters into Netbattling a crossover could be possible.

Exactly.

Generally speaking, you can get away with a crossover if the monster becomes a Navi and the M/T cards become support chips. Granted you have to be highly selective with just what you cross over, and you'll probably have to change the way it works slightly, but it can be done.

Example: Lord of Summoning D. is the Navi, support chip is a Flute of Summoning Dragon which creates White Dragon viruses (Blue Eyes White Dragon), Lord of Summoning D. uses an abilty which lets him fuse the three into the Ultimate Dragon Virus (Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon).

The system worked for me and scored a positive reveiw from MC, so...

And why I posted all of this, I'll never know... -_-;;;

Oh right! I remember that. A rare gem of a crossover--it actually seemed to be natural. That moots a lot fo my point, unfortunately.

Quatre--I didn't claim that a crossover is impossible. I merely claimed that crossovers of this sort have been attempted many times, and for the most part, they have been unsuccessful. If you want to try one, please go right ahead.

*coughcough* Umm yes... sorry for going off topic. Just thinking possible ideas for a story... Anyways, I've read some YGO/MMNT crossover... they were good till for some reason the author discontinued it. I was really annoyed because of that. If your story is kinda WTF-ish, then what the heck, I'll still read it. Your talking to a girl who has read A LOT of WTF-ish fanfics. *points up at Midnight's quote* I agree with you.

Hmmmmmmm, YuGiOh and EXE...together. Well, I kind of have mixed reactions on this. One side of me is saying that a YuGiOh and EXE crossover would be ok considering that execute it right but another side of me is saying that YuGiOh and EXE would never work because of all the Duel Monsters, Millienium items, Shadow Magic and all that jazz. Duel Masters and Boktai would work out because of all the reasons that were stated in this topic. Besides I don't like to see any character sent to the Shadow realm for any reason even if they lose in a Shadow game. The whole concept of that crap just creeps me out! I don't wanna lose my soul just because I lost a game!
