This is a very great game from the creators of Ico. For those who have played Ico, they won't be disappointed with this game, since the creators used the same graphical style as Ico. The game centers around an unnamed warrior who is only armed with a bow, an ancient sword, and his wits. He travells by horse to this temple in a far off land, in hopes of reviving a girl (this girl is not mentioned as being anyone in particular but is obviously important to the main character). The warrior is then ordered by a mysterious voice known only as Dormin to hunt down every last colossus in order to save the girl. Now to the gameplay mechanics, the controls are confusing if you leave them as they are, here is an example. Triangle is your jump button -.- . But after configuring your controller, the controls are simple, you move like a normal person would and your horse rides like an actuall horse. Unlike other games, there are only the colossi to battle, no massive amounts of items to get, and there are upgrades to your two bars. These are your health and stamina, stamina plays a huge role in the game, as swimming, holding up your sword, climbing are all major factors in this game. In order to find each colossus you must reflect light off of your sword, which focuses as you shine the light in the direction of the next colossus. The game is both action and puzzle based, as you battle all 16 colossi. Each battle is a major struggle, as even the smallest colossi is easily massive, the smallest and first colossi is about three stories high and the main character only comes up to his foot. The games music provides a wonderful ambience to every situation, from the opening to the colossi battles themselves, you get a sense for everything that is happening. This is a great game, though definetly not for people who like casual games like Mario or Tetris, though they could possibly enjoy the game. Gamers who love action RPGs wil not be dissapointed. I definetly recommend this game to anyone who is looking for a good game. :stonecube: :stonecube: :stonecube: :stonecube: four stone cubes out of five, for slight control and camera issuses. _________________ created by XHunter17, thanks! Some kids managed to get over the intercom at work and this is what they said, " Don't touch BIlly Elliot!" O.O. I'm surprised my manager didn't blow a fuse. |

I'll be renting this game soon, after I stop playing Graffiti Kingdom. |
