Flying Humanoid is right next to the save room before you fight Zephyr. Throw a Mandragora and the little cloaked guy in the back will explode, then you'll get his soul. Surprised

As for the crystal block room, get the ball that's bouncing around in the blocks to get stuck near the top, then tap it so it explodes. When the ball pops, the thing blocking your way disappears.

Whoo, I love this game...

Now I'm in the process of Soul Collecting. I got the necessary equipment, but it still gets annoying how many times you have to kill a certain monster to get a soul out of them. (I'm looking at you, Final Guard and Stolas. >_>)

Thankfully I didn't have to spend that much time on an Iron Golem. 4 times battling him, I got 2 copies of his soul. Yay.

Now I'm trying to find the last few secret rooms. Curse the castle for being so large. XD

And I almost have all the final weapons synthesized. All I need is the Fist one and the Polearm one. I use Muramasa as my main weapon now, with either the Climiah Solais or the Valmanway as a back up.

Now I have to try and beat Boss Rush in under 5 minutes. Death takes too long to kill. =(

Ahh, people are so impatient nowadays. :V

Instead of abusing zombie souls with the Brass Knuckles for gold, I find it best to just plain go soul/item hunting and grabbing whatever money they drop. This works pretty well, especially if you try to fill out every item entry in your enemy logbook without using the Rare Ring.

In my (unlucky) experience, the Soul Eater ring is kinda over-rated, and only seems to work on Mermen. Laughing

Still working on Final Guard's second item (4 souls, w00t). :D

I wouldn't exactly call it "overrated" when it can cut hours off trying to get 3-starred souls. Sad

It really does cut off tons of time trying to get 3 star souls. For example, an enemy that has 3 stars, such as Erinys, makes it tough for their soul to appear. The Soul Eater Ring helps tons in that regard.

Valkyrie Soul gotten the first kill HAH

Anyways, if you still can't get the 3 star souls, keep trying. They're not always going to appear, and you have to keep working at it until you can. Sometimes, you may find a 3 star soul easier to get than a 2 star. Heh.

In other news...

I finally completed Boss Rush under 5 minutes with the Valmanway and using the Devil soul. My time was 3:02:55.

The RPG rocks. XD

And I started a New Game +, to get back the Boss Souls that I used in synthesis. =(

...I still don't know why they don't give you the Black Panter soul back to you when you do start a New Game +. Soma moves far too slow. >_>

2:09:35, lol
Valmanway sucks and really isn't good for anything unless you're using Black Panther.

Firing it at zombies is fun, that's pretty much it.

Black Panther lets you complete parts of the game earlier than you should. All souls that affect your movement are lost in New Game+.

Zan... Your avatar... is amazing.

I beat it a few weeks ago. I loved it, though I found it way too easy XP. Souls were kinda annoying to get, but it wasn't too bad when you get the necessary stuff : o. Maybe I'll try Hard Mode next : o.

Hard mode isn't really all that different, to be honest. The only noticeable differences are that Enemies have better stats and some of them have been improved. For example, Zombies and Ghouls go WAY faster than before, and the Bone Arks shoot two projectiles instead of one. Some things, like the Puppet Master's switching puppets, take 4 hits instead of two to kill off this time.

Other than that, it's just a New Game + with souped up monsters. Nothing too difficult.

Ah, then nevermind. I probably won't play it >.>;. Julius mode would probably be more fun to play, it sounds like <.<;.

Alucard is nothing special, though. He only has Hellfire and Bat. Yoko and Julius are much more fun to play as. Although, Alucard's voice actor is awesome (Zero from Rockman X =P).

I have it too. It rules so much. I advise all of you to at least test it out.

While true, Alucard is probably going to be your main attacker when exploring the castle. His jump slashes are far quicker and he does more damage than Julius. Yoko is also fine in this regard, as her ice spell devastates enemies. Not to mention that every physical attack she makes heals your HP, and that's the only way to recover your HP other than save points.

Sadly, I have not found a great need for Julius. He has the best range, but his sub-weapons aren't terribly useful and Alucard and Yoko are just better to play as most of the time. The only use I found for Julius was to fight Abaddon with. Talk about severely toning him down from Aria of Sorrow... ¬_¬

As it is, I have Alucard as my main attacker/explorer, Yoko as my secondary attacker/healer/boss killer, and Julius when I need to play keep away with enemies.

Still, Julius mode presents far more of a challenge than Hard mode. YOu get killed quite easily, and you have to stay on your toes.

I agree with you. Effing locusts keep killing me while I'm fighting against Abaddon... ><

Anywas, I finished Julius Mode...and I must say, the final battle is one of epic proportions! Heck, [spoil:2ac16b86a3]Soma stole Yami Bakura's hair![/spoil:2ac16b86a3] XD [spoil:2ac16b86a3]The ending's a disappointment, though...you only see Julius, Yoko, and Arikado stand at a place while the cult's castle crashes...[/spoil:2ac16b86a3] I expected much more from it..T.T

The Stolas are CREEPY...they have that creepy nerdy look...not to mention that they look like turkeys...
