I'm starting to wonder if this series is good for my health. Because whenever I hear a baby cry, I think of Trill crying, and I burst out laughing. And laughing at crying babies is never a good thing... |

Why laugh when a baby cries? T_T heck, it is sometimes funny when Trill cries, but think of all the damages... |

You mean when another baby cries and you remember about Trill and laugh, or the effects that occur when he does? =P _________________

All while I was watching the battle between Flameman, Rockman, and Roll, there was one thing I couldn't figure out: WHY ON EARTH DIDN'T SHUUKO SEND AQUAMAN IN TO HELP!!!!!! Aquaman is a water-based navi and Flameman is a fire-based navi, so wouldn't that have given them an advantage? _________________ “Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.”

because no logic was placed behind that battle, easy.
I love Trill now, i didn't care for him/her when s/he was a baby.
God when are they going to give trill a gender, this is a living nightmare! _________________

Even worse: HiKaizer told me that if you squint carefully enough, you'll see that Maylu had an IceSeed in her chip selection screen during the battle.
Why didn't she use it? No freaking idea. >_< _________________

The answer to why people don't do what they should is the fact that most the EXE characters seem to STUPID, Netto always forgets how to netbattle in the games, and he and Rock forget people. Meiru didn't use a chip that she should of, and Shuuko isn't bright enough to figure out that water beats fire. _________________ I didn't lose my mind, I sold it on eBay!

I must say, I'm quite happy with Stream thus far. The most screen time for the Navi's since Axess, and the plot device of the series (Trill) requires that they keep having screen time and cyberworld battles. Additionally for all people complained about Cross Fusion still being around, they've hardly used it thus far. Also, while they introduced Rockman's Beast Out's in the first episode, they have yet to resort to them since; which makes me optimistic about them not overusing it.
Yes they still have Navi of the day battles, but that's easily lived with. Especially as they're getting around to putting in some of the Navi's they skipped over for one reason or another rather than just reuse dead ones.
On a different note, am I the only one that noticed the glaring lack of Gutsman on Dekao's shoulder during the opening credits? A lack that's in direct contrast to Roll and Tomahawkman being on their op's shoulders in the same shot?
Oh and:

Netto "forgetting" how to netbattle in the games is a necessary evil. They need an in game excuse to introduce the battle system to people picking up a Rockman.exe game for the first time, and to introduce new elements to old players that didn't bother to read the instruction manual.
As for Meiru not using IceSeed, and Shuuko not plugging in Aquaman, I look at it this way: IceSeed would have only turned the field to Ice, which is of limited use in this battle, and could even hurt Rockman by having him slide around at a critical moment. And Aquaman isn't exactly the greatest fighting Navi. He might be strong against Fire, but Flameman could probably still take him out with a single attack. |

I understand your comment Gray but I have two points.
1. Tutorials in games can be optional, Rock could ask "Netto, do you need a quick refresher course?" or something the likes of that. But, instead we're forced to fight those same 9 Mettaurs over and over again. And the tutorial is always the same too, except in 4 & 5 where they added FS.
2. Chips operate slightly differently in the Anime sometimes. Since there is no "Field" as such Area Steal teleports people around. In all likelihood Ice Seed would operate like it is named, when you throw it and it hits an object ice comes out. It's like in the game when you hit an enemy with it and they take damage, but only the square the enemy was on becomes the terrain of the seed.
Oh and I agree about Aquaman, while maybe not weak his power isn't very reliable... _________________

I agree too about aquaman. this is one of those places where they dont spell it out, but it is assumed we are smart enough to know that in the anime especially aquaman is a total wimp and mostly comic relief (ie no battles) _________________ You're an honest man, that's good. The thing is that they can't make it optional as people would skip it thinking they knew everything, only to find out something had been changed or added. BN2 changed how the add chips function worked, and BN4 added full synchro. Much easier for them to leave it mandatory than keep changing it back and forth when they have to have someone learn something new. And it's the same all the time because most of the basic functions are the same, and the weakest enemy is the same.

A point, but I still think it's main effect would be "freeze the area around where it hit". Which would make it of limited use unless you got a direct hit. And even for that, in the games, the damage isn't that great since it's primary purpose isn't attack. Roll would be more likely to draw attacks to her and Trill than to actually hurt Flameman.
Oh, and another thought on why pluging in Aquaman would be a bad idea: Imagine if Aquaman started crying and started Trill crying. |

Iceseed wouldn't have done anything anyway, Flames would have just melted it.

I know it wouldn't have done much, the point is that it's got Ice in it and Water>Flames. So she could have at least tried to use it, I know that it wouldn't have done anything really even if it had worked the way I suggested. _________________
