Beast Fics will be surfacing after a few more episodes anyways. I know that I have a Beast/EXE 6 fic that is still in the concept phase, and I am sure there are other people with skeletal structures for Beast fics but need to see more beast before they start to type it up.

Well Back on topic, like the other chapters this one was just as good. Cant wait till the next one just because it is such a good series.

Okay, without further ado here's Chapter 10 of Mega Man: New Generation. It's a long one because it is a battle that you would definitely love.

Chapter 1-10: An Airborne Assault

On one unexpected day in Dr. Wily’s laboratory, Dr. Wily was in heavy work with developing his new robot masters and unexpectedly, he completes them with plenty of time to spare.

Dr. Wily: “I’ve done it. I’ve finally done it!”

Dr. Wily was immediately with his sadistic laughter that proves he’s absolutely crazy. That was when Bass came by and wanted to find out what the entire ruckus was about. Ever since his defeat against Mega Man NG and Proto Man NG, he had been training long and hard in hopes that one day he would beat them both without any mercy or remorse.

Bass: “Okay, exactly what is going on here Wily?”

Dr. Wily: “At long last, my new robot masters have been completed. Now, all who dare to challenge me will fall before my might.”

Bass: “But where are your robot masters anyway?”

Dr. Wily: “You have a sense of ruining my good fortune. Anyway, behold my new robot masters!”

That was when eight robots appeared each with various skills and abilities. Bass wasn’t surprised seeing Dr. Wily’s new robot masters and that was when all of them opened their eyes. Wily then laughed with unbelievable glee witnessing an unbelievable shock. The robot masters were awakened and now they began to speak.

Dr. Wily: “At last, my robot masters have come to life!”

CrashMan: “Calm yourself down, Wily. You’re going to bust a blood vessel that way.”

AirMan: “I agree. Wily, let me show you what I can do. I’ll send that Mega Man packing for cover.”

MetalMan: “Let’s see what AirMan can do. Each of us can take a turn at trying to beat the blue dweeb and will show Wily what we can do.”

WoodMan: “Is this necessary?"

HeatMan: “You ask too much seriously.”

Dr. Wily: “Enough is enough. AirMan shall show us what he is capable of. You better not disappoint us, AirMan.”

AirMan: “Oh, don’t worry Dr. Wily. I promise you that once Mega Man NG is over and done with, the entire world will bow down at your glorious will.”

Dr. Wily: “I know. Ain’t I so smart?”

That was when he began undergoing his very sadistic laugh which made Bass give Wily the old crazy expression for him. AirMan had a lot of work to do especially since he has a job to do and that is to destroy the blue dweeb, Mega Man NG.

Bass: “I wonder if he can get the job done. We’ll have to see.”

Meanwhile, Rock along with his buddies Daniel and Bret are enjoying some time in the Light household doing what interests them. Rock was studying for an upcoming test hoping that he would be able to get his grades up so that he can move on to the next grade. Bret was designing some blueprints hoping that it will benefit mankind. Daniel was taking a snooze due to the fact that he had stayed up all night playing video games and now decided to take a long nap.

Bret: “Rock, think you might want to take a look at this?”

Rock: “Yeah, sure. What is it that you are developing?”

Bret: “Something that might help us when the situation gets tough.”

Rock: “Let me look.”

Rock went to see one of Bret’s blueprints and as it turned out, it was blueprints for some sort of portable battlechip gate. He looked it and began to wonder if it would be useful.

Rock: “What is that anyway?”

Bret: “These are blueprints for a battlechip gate my company will plan to design.”

Rock: “Company? Don’t tell me you work for a company.”

Bret: “I don’t believe so. I’m president of Cyber-Games Inc. which is home to developing various types of cutting edge gaming technology. Everyday our company continues to develop more and more cutting edge software to make video games more enjoyable for the people of New Light City. Of course, I have been recognized in various countries around the world such as France, England and Japan.”

Rock: “Wow. That’s awesome. How does it feel being the president of a multimedia gaming corporation?”

Bret: “It has its moments. Sometimes it’s a good day and sometimes it’s a bad day but in the end I like it. Recently, we are now developing Personal Terminals or PET to improve life on the internet. I’ve developed various early models but I believe that we are trying our best to go advanced.”

That was when Bret showed Rock designs of a new model Personal Terminal. Rock was pleased to seeing the new designs of the PET Advanced or PET II. That was when Doris watched from above seeing the new designs of the new PET.

Doris: “My, my… I’m very impressed with your new designs, Bret.”

Rock: “Huh? Doris, what are you doing here?”

Doris: “I just thought I’d dropped by and thought I’d check up on you.”

Bret: “It’s okay with us, Doris. The new designs are nothing but blueprints but I believe that if possible, we can get started with the production of these new Personal Terminals.”

Doris: “I believe so. Dr. Light is an expert also at various technologies. I think you should talk to him if you wish to get help on your new projects.”

Bret: “Thanks, Doris. You seem to be quite friendly with this stuff.”

Doris: “I agree.”

Rock: “Okay, Doris. What’s up? Have you done most of the stuff that needs to be taken care of?”

Doris: “Yes, I have Master Rock. I just thought I would get some time off from all this work.”

Rock: “And that you should. You deserve a rest because for someone like you, you earned it.”

Doris: “I feel very pleased.”

But before the conversation was going to go any further, the emergency alarm was triggered and the three of them immediately went to the underground laboratory. Doris began finding out what was the source of it and it turned to be a fleet of airships.

Doris: “This is weird. Why are a fleet of airships hovering over New Light City? This had better not be a joke because I’m not programmed to see bad jokes especially like that.”

Rock: “I know you are not, Doris. After we reprogrammed you after that electrical nightmare incident, we made sure that you would be the best maid in the household. Besides, you are kind of cute.”

Doris: “Rock, you are making me blush.”

Bret: “Now’s not the time to get all lovey-dovey. We have a situation that does not originate from bad humor. It seems something is up and if I can smell it, it has to be Dr. Wily. My guess he must have stronger robot masters after Rock recently incinerated Enker.”

Doris: “Bret, you have a sense of humor with situations such as these.”

Bret: “If you think it’s a joke, you should look closer. Look at the insignia on that main ship. Can you magnify it for a second?”

Doris: “Sure thing.”

Doris then pressed a few buttons and then magnified the view of the insignia and what they saw proved Bret’s intuitions. Rock and Doris looked at it and saw what they didn’t expect; the insignia of Dr. Wily, a mad scientist that has an obsession for developing machines.

Bret: “See what I mean. It’s Dr. Wily who sent out those airships.”

Rock: “Bret, you are good at this stuff. Doris, where’s grandpa?”

Doris: “Dr. Light is in a business meeting at New Light Industries and won’t be home till nightfall.”

Rock: “Okay. Doris, keep an eye on the airship fleet. I’ve got a feeling that this is part of a Dr. Wily plot. The both of us will go in mid-air and try to stop the airships from trying to go further into the city.”

Doris: “Hai. Before you go, I think you will need an energy boost in hopes that you survive in the battles ahead.”

Rock: “How so?”

Doris: “With Eddie?”

Rock and Bret: “Eddie?”

Doris: (whistles) “Oh, Eddie.”

That was when Eddie came by. Eddie was a small green robot that had no arms but two legs for movement. Doris then began to explain Eddie’s purpose as it was going to be a beneficial for that the both of them will very much need.

Rock: “What in the name of Earth is that?”

Bret: “It reminds me of those mini robot servants that I’ve seen in my old town.”

Doris: “This is Eddie, one of Dr. Light’s many creations. He’s a mini-robot that carries energy canisters which will be necessary for you to complete your mission. He may be small but his attitude can change all of that.”

Eddie: “That’s right. I may be small but I pack a lot of strength. Here! You both need an energy boost. It will help you a lot in your upcoming battle.”

Eddie opened his top and fired two canisters in which Rock and Bret caught. They then looked at each other and that was when they both transformed into their alter-egos.

Mega Man NG: “Okay, Proto Man. Bottoms up!”

They both use their cans to make a clang and they immediately drank their respective canisters. With it, they were fully recharged and were ready for battle. Mega Man NG hopped on his Skycycle while Proto Man NG uses a green Dash fishy to hit airborne. As they hit above, they see the airships flying over the city of New Light. Knowing that those things need to be stopped, Mega Man and Proto Man NG went off to stop those ships and send them packing.

Mega Man NG: “There they are. Those ships need to be struck down.”

Proto Man NG: “Looks like we have a lot of work to do to take down those ships. You ready?”

Mega Man NG: “As I’ll ever be. Spreader, battlechip in!”

Proto Man NG: “Let’s do it! HiCannon, battlechip in!”

Both of them started heading towards the group of airships and that was when they unleashed several shots at the main ship. That was when things were about to take a turn for the worst as the airships began to retaliate with various laser cannons and the both of them had to move fast or else they’ll end up blasted out of the sky.

Proto Man NG: “Looks like Dr. Wily decided to play hunting season with us, eh?”

Mega Man NG: “This is going to be a challenge for me. Doris, have you found any luck checking those ships out.”

Doris: “I have. The central ship is protected by three other ships containing shield generators. They are heavily protected by gun turrets which contain anti-air weaponry. You must take those three generators done in hopes to get inside the ship.”

Mega Man NG: “Looks like we got ourselves a job to do. Ya ready, Proto?”

Proto Man NG: “Definitely. I’m looking forward to this big time. Let’s go! SuperVulcan, battlechip in!”

Mega Man NG: “Magnum, battlechip in!”

Mega Man and Proto Man immediately changed weapons and they then went to each side of the ship to find the shield generators. Mega Man NG found the first shield generator and then used Magnum to blast it. The attack seriously damaged the ship and it then was destroyed immediately.

Mega Man NG: “Proto Man, I took out the first shield generator. How are you faring?”

Proto Man NG: “Not good. Laser fire is preventing me from destroying the second shield generator. I need your help, Mega.”

Mega Man NG: “You got it. I’m on my way!”

Mega Man NG then turned up the Skycycle into full power and that was when he went off to help Proto Man NG who was having trouble destroying the shield generator. Proto Man NG was moving in all directions dodging various enemy attacks and trying to stay alive. That was when Mega Man NG appeared and armed with two Vulcan guns, he attacked the anti air guns giving Proto Man the opportunity to destroy the second generator.

Mega Man NG: “Are you alright, Proto Man? Another second and you would have been blasted out of the sky.”

Proto Man NG: “I’m fine. Don’t worry about me. Thanks for saving me though. Let’s now concentrate on the third generator.”

Mega Man NG: “Right. I’ll be the decoy while you try to take out the third generator.”

Proto Man NG: “You read my mind. Okay, time to burn things up. Salamander, battlechip in!”

Proto Man NG jumped off his Dash fishy and was then engulfed in a flame creating a phoenix. That was when he roared in high speeds with Mega Man NG close behind.

Mega Man NG: “Time to lure the enemy away. Hey, looking for me?”

That was when Anti-Air cannons targeted Mega Man NG and opened fire with everything they had. Mega Man NG was on the move dodging cannon after cannon and hoping to get out of harm’s way, he gave Proto Man NG enough space to unleash his Salamander attack.

Proto Man NG: “Time to burn the last generator. Salamander attack!”

Proto Man then charged with unbelievable speed as he completely destroyed the third shield generator. With it, the ship exploded in a barrage of light. With it, the third generator was completely incinerated and in the process, a giant circle protecting the main area of the airship immediately disappeared instantly and that gave both of them the opportunity to enter the main area of the airship and find out who’s the cause of all this.

Mega Man NG: “The shield is down. We can get into the airship.”

Doris: “Excellent work, you two. Now I’ll be able to scan the entire mainframe of the airship. You’ll find the source of the problem inside. Until then, you are on your own. The airship is somehow blocking the communication line so I’ll transfer the entire structure of the airship to you. I’m leaving this in your hands. I hope you get out alive.”

Proto Man NG: “Don’t worry about a thing, Doris. The both of us will do fine. Right, Mega?”

Mega Man NG: “Yeah. Whatever happens to us, Doris… I will always be your friend. Keep an eye on the laboratory till the both of us return. I don’t want you to get scared worrying about us.”

Doris: “I know, Master. Good luck and god speed.”

Mega Man NG: “Arigato, Doris. Let’s go, Proto Man. We got an airship to sink and a plan to stop.”

Proto Man NG: “Right.”

That was when Mega Man and Proto Man NG immediately went inside the airship by means of heading towards the landing area. With that, they began racing straight for the inner area of the ship. As they got inside, they were racing toward the control room where the ship can be taken down. But unbeknownst to them, a mysterious person was watching their every move. He was a robot master who has a high-grade pulsating fan for a chest but packs a powerful wind cannon on his left arm. Watching what he is witnessing, he decides to continue seeing what Mega Man and Proto Man have planned.

Mega Man NG: “This place is really huge. No wonder Wily spends a lot of his time developing stuff. This guy is really good at this.”

Proto Man NG: “Is this a time to be praising Wily? We have a job to do. Let’s go!”

Mega Man NG: “Okay. I’m checking the map that Doris downloaded to us. I’m checking it and it looks like we have a long way to go till we reach the main control room and the one who’s behind all of this.”

Proto Man NG: “We have a lot of work to do to get the job done.”

As they continued on their way towards the main control room, they reached a huge part of the ship where it turned out to be the main area. As the both of them jumped down that was when they see what was happening.

Mega Man NG: “So this is the main area of the ship, eh? Looks like Dr.Wily is good at developing ships like this.”

Proto Man NG: “What did I ever tell you about praising Wily? You really are off man.”

Mega Man NG: “I know. Maybe if I can press a few buttons here. I can be able to find out where’s the ship next destination.”

Proto Man NG: “What do you think you are doing?”

Mega Man NG: “Trust me. I know what I’m doing.”

Mega Man NG pressed a few buttons and brings up a main menu on the monitor of the central area. That was when he pressed a button on his Mega Buster NG which brought a jack-in cord and he immediately plugged into the mainframe of the Airship Control Console. After pressing a few buttons, he hacked into the main battle console and that was when he found various battle plans. Knowing that it would be part of Dr. Wily’s plans in the near future, he decides to download the data in hopes that Dr. Light would make use of them.

Mega Man NG: “Alright, I jacked into the airship control computer and now downloading Wily’s blueprints.”

Proto Man NG: “Looks like Wily really has gone off the deep end. I’ll try to contact Doris from here.”

Mega Man NG: “Go ahead and do that. I only got 5 minutes till the download is complete anyway.”

Proto Man NG: “Roger. Doris, this is Proto Man NG. Can you hear us?”

Back at Dr. Light’s laboratory, Doris hears Proto Man NG’s communication and decides to contact them anyway she can. After pressing a few buttons, she sees Proto Man NG and Mega Man NG inside the airship.

Doris: “This is Doris. I knew you would make it inside. How are you faring?”

Proto Man NG: “We’ve got into the main area of the airship. Mega Man NG is now downloading battle plans that we’ve found inside the ship.”

Mega Man NG: “I only got a minute and half before they are done.”

Doris: “Even though I got into your communication, it appears as tough someone is trying to lock you out.”

Mega Man NG: “Let me check… uh oh! This is bad; it looks like someone is trying to stop me by using a remote terminal.”

Proto Man NG: “Jack out now!”

Mega Man NG: “You got it. I’m jacking out of the system.”

After pressing a few buttons, Mega Man NG plugged out of the computer but that was when the worst was about to unfold. Mega Man NG begins to feel a shock of static electricity causing his body to short circuit. Immediately, his body couldn’t take it and his Mega Buster causes a small explosion.

Mega Man NG: “Shit! My buster is damaged because of that short circuit. I can’t use my Mega Buster NG until I get it back online.”

Doris: “I’ll try to get the Mega Buster NG back online but it will take me some time.”

Mega Man NG: “How much time are we talking about, Doris?”

Doris: “I’d say that it will take me 3 minutes to get your Mega Buster NG back online.”

Mega Man NG: “Three minutes is all that I need.”

That was when a robot master appeared from a door up top in the main area. Unbeknownst to them, it turns out to be one of Dr. Wily’s robot masters out to cause trouble.

AirMan: “I’m afraid that three minutes won’t be enough for you, my friend. I’d say you only have 30 seconds worth.”

Mega Man NG: “Nandate?”

The both of them turned around and saw AirMan in the flesh and was ready to destroy Mega Man and Proto Man NG. If things weren’t bad enough, Mega Man NG’s Mega Buster was damaged and it will take 3 minutes to get it back online. Things were seriously at a disadvantage.

AirMan: “Well looks like Dr. Wily was right after all when it comes to finding the blue dweeb along with his red-headed friend. I would end up finding him where I would least expect.”

Mega Man NG: “Okay, who in the blue hell are you?”

Proto Man NG: “Yeah.”

AirMan: “My name is AirMan and I’m here to blow your sorry hide away. Looks like you tried to hack into my computer and obtain the data for the battle plans were ya. It seems as though you are too little too late. Your buster is damaged and I don’t think you will have a chance trying to stop me.”

Proto Man NG: “Is that right?”

Mega Man NG: “It doesn’t matter because I’ll still take you down. HiCannon battlechip in!”

Proto Man NG: “Let’s buy some time to get your buster fixed Mega. CustomSword, Shotgun battlechips in!”

Both of them were ready with their weapons as AirMan jumped from the top of the main area to ground central. A battle was going to ensue and time was not on their side. AirMan chuckled and that was when the battle immediately began.

Mega Man NG: “Let’s go!”

AirMan: “As you wish. Air Shooter!”

That was when AirMan’s turbine fan began to spin and immediately his buster unleashed a tornado causing Mega Man and Proto Man NG to be on the move. Mega Man NG used his HiCannon to fire several shots while Proto Man NG used his Shotgun to fire a volley of bullets straight for AirMan. Immediately, the Air Shooter consumed the attacks and immediately was repelled all over the area.

Mega Man NG: “No way. His attack repelled our blasts.”

Proto Man NG: “Looks like long range attacks aren’t the answer. We’ll have to go close if we are going to take them down.”

Mega Man NG: “That’s what I was thinking. AreaSteal, WideSword battlechips in!”

Proto Man NG: “I’m staying with CustomSword hoping that it will help us.”

AirMan: “Your attacks won’t stop me that’s for sure. I hope you like a taste of this, Tornado Spread!”

AirMan’s turbines began spinning again and that was when three tornadoes appeared and fired straight for the two heroes. Proto Man NG and Mega Man NG used their swords to slice the tornadoes but AirMan continues to unleash more and more tornadoes hoping to put the both of them on the deep end.

Mega Man NG: “Doris, how much time we got left?”

Doris: “Only two minutes left. AirMan is really good trying to hack through the system.”

That was when Dr. Light appeared and Doris began explaining the situation to him. Knowing that something was going to unfold, he decided to take part and help out.

Doris: “Dr. Light, it seemed that Mega Man NG’s Mega Buster has been hacked and was planted with a virus that couldn’t allow him to use it. I’ve only encrypted one-third of the virus and what’s worse, that virus is a nasty one.”

Dr. Light: “Leave it to me. I’m an expert at computer viruses and I can crack any of them in less than ½ a minute. Mega, I’m going to try installing an anti-virus into your Mega Buster. If lucky, it can destroy the virus in less than a few seconds but you’ll have to give me 3 minutes to get it done.”

Mega Man NG: “Again with the 3-minute crap! Alright already, just get the anti-virus done. I don’t know if I can handle him without my Mega Buster.”

Dr. Light: “Just do what you can, Robert Light.”

Mega Man NG: “Thanks a lot, grandpa. WideBlade, TripleBomb battlechips in!”

Proto Man NG: “I’ll help out as well, Dr. Light. LongBlade, TriArrow battlechips in!”

Both of them were now armed with different weapons and hoping to gain an advantage, Proto Man NG fired an arrow deep into the turbine of AirMan’s chest. It jammed his ability to perform any wind-based attacks and it gave them the opportunity to counterattack with everything they had.

Mega Man NG: “You jammed his chest?”

Proto Man NG: “I thought that would be an idea to buy some time.”

Mega Man NG: “Nice work. Now, let’s take him down.”

Mega Man NG and Proto Man NG rushed for an offensive attack and they struck him hard with the help of their bladed weaponry and AirMan was hit hard. Then, Mega Man NG used his TripleBomb to struck AirMan with major ounces of pain and Proto Man NG finished the offensive attack by using a TriArrow. That made AirMan pissed like hell but things were about to make a more offensive turn as AirMan got up angry and was ready to counterattack with everything he had.

AirMan: “Alright, enough is enough. You think a simple arrow will stop me from blowing you away? I’m afraid that’s all going to change. You haven’t seen the full potential of my power.”

Mega Man NG: “Is that right? Think you can unleash it in 60 seconds?”

That was when Mega Man NG pressed a few buttons and got the airship set to self-destruct. If things weren’t bad enough, AirMan’s turbine chest began to spin at a rapid speed then wind began to form from within AirMan.

Proto Man NG: “What are you planning now, fan face?”

AirMan: “Oh don’t worry. Since you set the ship to self-destruct I might as well take you fools down with me. Time now for my ultimate attack, Berserker Twister!”

Mega Man NG: “Aw, man. Can things get any worse than this?”

That was when Mega Man NG’s Mega Buster received a beep meaning that the Buster is restored back to its normal state. Dr. Light was certain to get the job done and fortunately, he did.

Mega Man NG: “Alright! My buster is fully restored. Time now to blast this windbag once and for all! Proto Man, let’s perform a Double Program Advance. We only have 40 seconds until the ship goes down.”

Proto Man NG: “Then we will have to make this count. AirMan’s Berserker Twister is generating a tornado so powerful that not even regular attacks can cut through it.”

Mega Man NG: “Then we’ll have to unleash our ultimate program advance to do this. You ready?”

Proto Man NG: “I’m ready. Only 30 seconds left. Let’s do it!”

Mega Man NG: “Program Advance!”

Proto Man NG: “Program Advance!”

That was when the both of them brought their hands together and immediately put it high into the air and that was when they called out their Program Advances.

Mega Man NG: “ShotGun, CrossGun, V-Gun, SideGun battlechips in!”

Proto Man NG: “Sword, WideSword, LongSword battlechips in!”

Both of their hands glowed with an unbelievable white light while AirMan’s Berserker Twister began increasing in power and speed. The both of them had to make this Double Program Advance count because it was the only way to achieve victory.

Mega Man NG: “Hyper Cannon!”

Proto Man NG: “LifeSword!”

AirMan: “Your pathetic attacks won’t pierce my ultimate attack. You are going down!”

Mega Man NG: “There’s no such thing as defeat for us! We’ll beat you! Hyper Cannon, fire!”

Proto Man NG: “Victory will be ours. LifeSword, strike!”

Both of them unleash their attacks at full power and with it, it was a clash between powers. Both sides held on with all their strength and unbelievably, AirMan was immediately engulfed by both Program Advances. With it, AirMan was destroyed and time was still running out.

Mega Man NG: “Alright, we beat AirMan.”

Proto Man NG: “But we only have 10 seconds before this entire ship goes. Let’s do it!”

Mega Man NG and Proto Man NG: “AreaSteal, battlechip in!”

Mega Man NG and Proto Man NG immediately escaped the ship with only 3 seconds remaining and immediately the ship went off with a bang. At a rooftop far from the explosion, both Mega Man NG and Proto Man NG witnessed the explosion of the airships being disintegrated.

Proto Man NG: “At least we took care of AirMan. It’s a good thing we put the ship out of harm’s way.”

Mega Man NG: “Definitely. Good thing Dr. Light installed an anti-virus program to make sure any viruses won’t enter my Mega Buster system again.”

Proto Man NG: “I agree. We did a good job but I know Wily. Wily will do whatever he can to stop us but we’ll beat them to it.”

Mega Man NG: “I agree. Looks like the sun is setting on New Light City today. I’m exhausted.”

Proto Man NG: “Same. I look forward to another day. Farewell, Mega Man.”

As Proto Man NG went off on his own, Mega Man NG smiled seeing that the situation has been taken care of. With everything that has happened, Mega Man NG went home. With another battle come and gone, Mega Man knew for certain that the battle for saving the world would be only the beginning.

On the next Mega Man: New Generation

New Light City is experiencing serious water problems and from the looks of the situation, it has Wily written all over it. Rock, Bret and Daniel head to the Water Plant to find out what’s the situation only to discover that it’s the cocky, yet evil BubbleMan behind this plot. That was one awesome chapter; I actually took notes as I went through :D Anyway, Boktai, though unoriginal; would be a cool crossover, as well as any of the .hack series. Also, I wasn't to thrilled to find that Bret was the president of a company; it seems to take away from his whole loner image. I did like, however; the way you went and gave Doris emotion and established some sort of relationship between her and Rock. In addition, I hope that You will include Axl when you get to the X series. Speaking of that, I hope that X is just an upgrade of Megaman NG, but minus any amnesia. Lastly, I think that it would be cool to have(as others said) Medi appear soon. Maybe she could be built by Cossack or someone and passd into Light's protection, becoming a friend of Rock.

I'm really sorry that I didnt' get the chance to read your story as much as I want to, man. It's just that my exam keeps me all busy and such. JAVA isn't an easy class for me to catch up on. But at least it's a bit easier than C++. In any case, I would like to make up for it by reviewing your latest and longest chapter. I would like to say that it was a good chapter. The characters aren't too bad either. I would like to say that I like this story man. It's like the older version of the MegaMan games that I used to play for when I was little. I liked for when both MegaMan NG and ProtoMan NG beat the living daylights out of AirMan. Oh, and I've liked the way that you've put up material from the MegaMan Exe Series into this story. I hope that I get to see more where that came from. One more thing, I like this sort of pairing that you've put up between both Robert and Doris. I can't wait to see what happens next. Things are gonna get bubbly. Here's Chapter 11.

Chapter 1-11: Bubble Trouble
At Dr. Wily’s laboratory, everyone was witnessing AirMan’s tragic demise as mixed emotions were about to unfold. Especially for Dr. Wily since he is freaking out over something such as this.

Dr. Wily: “I can’t believe this! Mega Man and Proto Man had defeated AirMan. This is impossible.”

Bass: “Definitely. Those two are no ordinary beings. They possess power that is beyond what others would think of.”

CrashMan: “I’d say it’s my turn to take out those two.”

FlashMan: “No way, CrashMan. I’ll show Wily how things are done with a Neon twist.”

HeatMan: “You can’t do anything. All you do is show off your little night tricks.”

MetalMan: “Let me fight him. I really want to battle Mega Man and see how powerful he is.”

QuickMan: “Oh, please. I’ll take everyone down as fast as everyone speaks in this place.”

WoodMan: “The reason why the previous robots couldn’t defeat them is because they weren’t in tune with their inner nature.”

That was when everyone began arguing and then Wily and Bass looked at each other realizing that nothing was going to get anything done. That was when BubbleMan came by and knew he wanted to do something.

Dr. Wily: “What is it BubbleMan?”

BubbleMan: “Puku, I want to show you I can beat that mega twerp. Please Dr.Wily, give me this chance.”

Bass: “Why not. Wily, should you give BubbleMan an opportunity to beat Mega Man?”

Dr. Wily: “I guess. Those other fools couldn’t do it, why can’t he?”

Bass: “Okay, BubbleMan. Do you have a plan to beat Mega Man and his red-headed friend?”

BubbleMan: “Of course, puku. I won’t let you down. In fact, I got a plan that will not only cause havoc but destroy those two all at once.”

That was when BubbleMan begins to tell Dr. Wily and Bass of his plans but what they are hearing is something that they wouldn’t expect. Meanwhile, Rock and his friends decided to do a field test of the new Battlechip Gate that Bret had developed. Daniel decided to take part by seeing if the Battlechip Gate is operational. Doris had activated the simulator in hopes that the test would go successful and hoping that Daniel would get some activity for a change.

Doris: “Okay, the simulator is online. Are both of you ready?”

Mega Man NG: “I’m ready. You ready, Proto Man?”

Proto Man NG: “Definitely. I hope the test of the new Battlechip Gate can prove to be very helpful.”

Daniel: “I’m ready whenever you are. Let’s start the test.”

That was when the simulator began to bring out an environment that was considered to be normal. Various simulator orbs began to appear as the simulation immediately began.

Mega Man NG: “Okay, let’s do it.”

Proto Man NG: “Start sending battlechips, Daniel.”

Daniel: “You got it. Here goes nothing, AquaTower, battlechip in! Download!”

That was when Mega Man NG’s hand began to glow and immediately he placed it to the ground and unleashed a powerful AquaTower. It was unbelievable seeing that the Battlechip Gate was actually working.

Daniel: “Here comes another. AirShot, battlechip in! Download!”

Proto Man NG’s Buster Arm turned into an AirShot cannon. With it, he was able to fire several Air-based shots blasting away several orbs. Daniel was actually enjoying the use of the Battlechip Gate and that was when he decided to slot in another battle chip in hopes to see if it’ll work.

Daniel: “Let’s see if this can work for defense too. LifeAura, battlechip in! Download!”

That was when the both of them were protected with a powerful aura as the orbs began to fire lasers and they were immediately negated upon strike.

Mega Man NG: “Awesome.”

Proto Man NG: “But let’s see if the Battlechip Gate can handle a Program Advance. Hit it, Daniel.”

Daniel: “You got it. Program Advance!”

Mega Man NG and Proto Man NG: “Program Advance!”

Daniel: “Sword, WideSword, LongSword battlechips in! Download!”

The both of them brought forth powerful LifeSword Program Advances and immediately they struck it with everything they had. It was unbelievable seeing that the Battlechip Gate had a successful test. As the simulator ended, they both powered down and then Daniel gave Bret the Battlechip Gate.

Bret: “This Battlechip Gate test is a perfect success. I’ll need to make some modifications especially since this thing is a little long. This is only a prototype and I knew it would be successful.”

Rock: “Hey, what do you guys want to do today?”

Daniel: “Well, we can go on that tour in the New Light City Water Plant.”

Rock: “True. We need to do a report about how water is filtrated and cleaned in that place.”

Bret: “I’ll join you for who knows what Wily may plan to do.”

The three of them nodded and they immediately were heading off for the New Light City Water Filtration Plant. As they arrived, they saw the building which was tall as it was also a place where water would be found, filtrated and sent throughout all corners of the city.

Bret: “So this is the New Light City Water Filtration Plant. I’ve heard much about this place.”

Rock: “Maybe if you go on the tour guide, you’ll learn more about it. After all, there’s a lot for you that you need to know about this city and for someone such as you, you need to know every little thing about our city.”

Bret: “Well I guess the tour guide won’t be bad. Let’s see how it will go.”

As the three of them enter the Facility and take the tour guide along with several other people, an unknown figure watches them get inside. It turns out to be one of Dr. Wily’s robot masters, BubbleMan.

BubbleMan: “Puku, puku. It seems I found exactly what I was looking for. Soon everyone will fear the wrath of toilet water.”

As BubbleMan laughed, Rock and the other two were ready to enter the tour but Bret was in the middle of a phone call involving the final production of the Battlechip Gate.

Bret: “How are the designs of the Battlechip Gate coming along?”

Rock: “The tour is about to begin man. Hurry up with the phone call already.”

Bret: “Alright already. Listen, once it’s complete be sure to have it delivered to me right away. I’m at the New Light City Water Filtration Plant. Okay, good bye.”

Daniel: “Hurry up, man. The tour guide started.”

Bret: “Alright already.”

The tour guide had begun and Rock began taking notes on many of the main areas in the facility. Of course it was going to help him with his report since it was going to count as 1/3 of his entire grade. He wanted to make sure that he needed to pass but not like most times, he wants to make this count. As they head further deep into the filtration area, the tour guide began explaining the many functions of the refinery.

Tour Guide: “You see here. These pipes help flow water throughout the entire plant. They help get rid of all dirt and dust that are in water so that rich, clean water would be delivered to the many people of the city. Now, are there any questions?”

Rock: “Um, I have one. How can water from the refinery head towards here?”

Tour Guide: “I see. There are pipes connected below the ground that allows water to be transferred to the refinery where it can be cleaned, purified, and sent through the pipelines to all the people of New Light City. Now, if you follow me this way I will show you the central control grid where all the water is regulated.”

Bret: “This tour guide is getting interesting.”

Daniel: “Yeah. Hey, Bret what was that phone call you had anyway?”

Bret: “In case you noticed, the phone call was involving the final design and development for the new Battlechip Gate. It should be here any minute now.”

Rock: “The final design. I hope it’s better than that lousy prototype that Daniel tried out today.”

Bret: “It’s much better than the prototype. I believe this one will suit Daniel very well. Of course, it should be here.”

Rock: “I think you shouldn’t worry about that right now. We have to go through the rest of the tour in hopes that we have everything needed for the report.”

Daniel: “I know.”

But before they could move on with the tour, that was when Rock receive a communications message from Dr. Light and it wasn’t going to be a pleasant one for certain.

Dr. Light: “Rock, this is your grandfather. Can you hear me?”

Rock: “Grandpa, what’s going on?”

Dr. Light: “This is terrible. It seems that one of Dr. Wily’s robot masters have entered the Water Filtration Plant. You have to stop him before it plans to cause havoc in the plant.”

Rock: “I’ll do what I can. Where is he anyway?”

Dr. Light: “He’s in the underground pipe area where all the water is planning to be purified. If Dr. Wily’s robot master tries to contaminate it, who knows what can happen.”

Rock: “I’m on my way. Bret, we have to head to the basement of this facility. One of Dr. Wily’s robot masters is up doing his old tricks again.”

Bret: “I was afraid that this would happen. It’s time to stop Dr. Wily yet again. Daniel, you stay on the tour until the battle chip gate comes. Then, head to the basement of the facility.”

Daniel: “Roger. Good luck, you two.”

As Rock and Bret head to the basement of the Water Facility, they transformed and went to discover who was behind all of this. They then checked out the basement of the area and that was when they saw the one who was really behind all of this.

Mega Man NG: “Hey, you!”

BubbleMan: “Puku?”

Proto Man NG: “Well, well looks like Dr. Wily has decided to involve even the most pathetic of robot masters.”

BubbleMan: “Don’t call me pathetic, puku. I’m BubbleMan and I’m going to teach you what happens to those that make fun of me.”

Mega Man NG: “BubbleMan? You look like a shrimp to us.”

That was when BubbleMan’s face began to go red and then he got pissed as hell unleashing his anger out on both of the heroes.

BubbleMan: “No one calls me shrimp, puku! I hate it when people call me small, puku! You will pay for making fun of me, puku! Try tasting this, Bubble Lead!”

BubbleMan’s top began to spew out a bubble that went slow at first but that was when it began moving quick causing Mega Man and Proto Man NG to move quickly to the touch. Mega Man NG fired a Mega Buster shot decimating the bubble and it revealed to be a bomb and it exploded.

BubbleMan: “How do you like my Bubble Bombs, puku? Quite painful isn’t it?”

Mega Man NG: “Out of everyone that I have ever dealt with, this is the most pathetic. I’m going to end this right here, right now. ShotGun, battlechip in!”

Mega Man NG’s arm turned into a buster cannon and that was when he immediately fired a shot which split into a volley of shots. BubbleMan didn’t like what he was witnessing and that was when he went on the defensive.

BubbleMan: “Your attacks won’t pierce me. Bubble Wrap!”

BubbleMan was then protected by a giant Bubble and all of Mega Man NG’s blasts were immediately absorbed. Mega Man NG was shocked to see his attacks were instantly neutralized. BubbleMan began to giggle and it was his turn to strike back.

Mega Man NG: “Oh hell no! That can’t be possible! BubbleMan must have some sort of protective shield to defend.”

Proto Man NG: “Looks like this guy is no ordinary Robot Master that’s for sure.”

Mega Man NG: “Then I’ll try something that can pierce it. TwinFang, battlechip in!”

Mega Man’s ShotGun turned into a launcher that fires tusks of a walrus. Immediately, he fired one shot and he took down BubbleMan’s bubble wrap. Now having an advantage in the battle, the both of them were ready for one heck of an offensive strike.

BubbleMan: “Puku? My barrier is gone. I’m going to take you down now.”

Mega Man NG: “It’ll be us that will take you down. Time for the offensive attack, LongSword battlechip in!”

Proto Man NG: “AreaSteal, ElecSword battlechips in!”

Proto Man went first using the AreaSteal to reach unbelievable speeds and attacked his foe with a powerful ElecSword strike electrocuting BubbleMan. Then, Mega Man NG immediately attacked BubbleMan with the LongSword giving off a strong slice attack. BubbleMan immediately got up and that was when he was set for the counterattack but he was too slow and got struck with a double assault.

BubbleMan: “Puku! This is unfair! Alright, I’m going to put an end to this once and for all. Harpoon Fire!”

BubbleMan brought two harpoon launchers and he immediately unleashed havoc by firing several harpoons towards the both of them. The both of them had little time to counterattack as they were struck hard by the legion of harpoons firing at an unbelievable speed. BubbleMan began laughing watching both heroes getting their butts kicked.

BubbleMan: “Puku! You two are no match for me. Time to end this, puku. For now my ultimate attack will be unleashed upon you, puku. Prepare to be destroyed, Bubble Blitzkrieg!”

That was when multiple bubbles appeared and then they were heading to their targets at an unbelievable speed. With little time to waste, things were going to reach an unbelievable conclusion but that was when one battlechip gave them protection.

Daniel: “Not today, BubbleMan. LifeAura, battlechip in download!”

That was when a white shield appeared and the Bubble Blitzkrieg was immediately neutralized. Mega Man and Proto Man were shocked to wonder who unleashed the LifeAura battlechip. They then turned around and saw Daniel and he was armed with the new Battlechip Gate. They smiled and saw the new Battlechip Gate which was like the size of a wristwatch.

Daniel: “Let me get you guys somewhere safe. AreaSteal battlechip in! Double download!”

Instantly, both Mega Man and Proto Man got out of harm’s way and arrived near Daniel’s side. Daniel was pleased to see the Battlechip Gate in effect and in a helpful way.

Proto Man NG: “Nice work, Daniel. It seems that the new Battlechip Gate is fully operational. Okay, now that you have the Battlechip Gate at your disposal, your job is to kick butt using the various battlechips you have.”

Daniel: “You got it. You both better get into the battlefield and kick some shiny metal ass.”

Mega Man NG: “Alright, let’s do this.”

BubbleMan: “You will pay for that, puku!”

Daniel: “Is that right, bubble brain. Time for me to show you how things are done. Mega Man: SilverFist, battlechip in! Download! Proto Man: VariableSword, battlechip in! Download!”

Both Mega Man and Proto Man were armed with their weaponry thanks to Daniel and his use of the Battlechip Gate. Immediately, they raced off to battle BubbleMan but the small robot master wasn’t going to give up without a fight.

BubbleMan: “Well, it appears that this is getting interesting de puku. Oh well, all good things must end anyway de puku. Bubble Parade!”

BubbleMan unleashed multiple bubbles and that was when Proto Man NG used his VariableSword to unleash a Sonic Boom that immediately destroyed BubbleMan’s Bubble Parade. Mega Man NG came in and gave BubbleMan a SilverFist of a beating. To make things more interesting, BubbleMan was smacked big time because of the SilverFist and now he was ready to be dealt with the finishing blow.

Daniel: “Alright, you two. Let’s finish this with a Program Advance double time.”

Mega and Proto Man NG: “You got it! Double Program Advance!”

Both of them held their hands high in the air and folded together while Daniel was ready to slot in the battlechips necessary to pull it off. Grabbing the battlechips from Daniel’s mini-packet, he was ready to unleash it.

Daniel: “Mega Man: MegaCannon, battlechip in! Triple download! Proto Man: Sword, WideSword, LongSword battlechips in! Download!”

Two beacons of light emerged were unleashed and immediately the Program Advances were revealed. Mega Man NG had the GigaCannon3 while Proto Man NG has the LifeSword. All BubbleMan could do was absolutely nothing as we staring through epic defeat.

BubbleMan: “Oh I do not like this puku.”

Mega Man NG: “This ends now!”

Both Mega Man NG and Proto Man NG unleashed their Program Advances and BubbleMan was completely engulfed by the blast. What happened then was a mark in the ground showing BubbleMan’s remains. That was then the three of them cheered and they went home after a job well done. At the Light household, they were celebrating with Hot Pockets and cans of soda. Doris came by to join the celebration for she is part of the team.

Rock: “The Battlechip gate is a success. Daniel, I hope you’ll help us with it in the battles to come.”

Daniel: “I agree. Doris will also be helping us who explains why Bret is having another Battlechip Gate being made and delivered to her.”

Doris: “I know. Bret is getting me a Battlechip Gate so I can take part as well. I feel really proud of being by your side, Master Rock.”

Rock: “I know. I’m proud too.”

That was when Rock gave Doris a kiss on the cheek and Doris smiled and gave him a hug. With the day coming to an end, these heroes have a huge day ahead of them as even though one of Wily’s robots is down, another one will rise to take its place. Mega Man NG and Proto Man NG will be ready for anything as they are heroes in their own right.

On the next Mega Man: Next Generation

Rock has to do a project that involves natural disasters. At first, he doesn’t get used to this kind of work but when earthquakes began occurring all over the city he feels that he has no choice. He checks out the fault lines only to discover that it’s none other than CrashMan who crashing up the city. Can Mega Man NG along with his allies save New Light City from being quaked to the ground? Find out in the next exciting chapter, Rock’s Crash Course. It will be one course that Mega Man NG will find it to be his toughest.

Sorry it took me so long to review you chapter man. I've just been busy trying to find out who I really am lately, that's all. Now, as for this new chapter in your fic, I would like to say that it's pretty good. I liked with how you got BubbleMan's personality down to the one in the Rockman Exe anime series. Boy, was that one of the most interesting chapters that I've ever read in this fic. Also, you've also managed to put in the Battlechip Gate into this story as well as some old elements and material from the old series. I hope that you keep up the good work man. Later!
