While I'm not one to propigate off topicness, Netto should be given a pension or something for saving the world so much, seriously if I did as much as him I'd at least want MONEY! 
Hmm, considering the girl is discovered in a Miliatary Base, a connection is possible I guess. But, I feel it's more likely she is connected to Beyondard, and that Colonel looks out for her.

Hmm... perhaps it's the same reason why Dingo's, Jasmine's, Pride's, Raika's, Miyabi's, and a whole bunch of other character's last names aren't revelead as well...
Personally, I just think that the people in Capcom's naming department either run out of ideas for last names, or just plain lazy...

Yeah, at the very least I hope he's getting payed for his job as a Net Saviour.
Though in the manga it wasn't so much that Netto didn't get recognition but that he didn't want it. I mean who wants reporters swarming your house 24/7? Plus Rockman also got recognition in the manga for beating Forte. He had to run from a horde of admirers. |

I always thought Barrel was his last name. He's referred to as "Col. Barrel" a few times (including the title of one of the episodes). His first name is what we should be wondering about... |

Unless even the military is in the dark about his last name; his LAST name is Barrel. Of course, it could be his first AND last name...

Uhmm... As far as I've seen, the given names come after the rank in Japanese Military (Gundam series). So I think that 'Barell' is the first name...
It seems that the closest thing we got to her name in Beast ep6 was "girl", as Sketch pointed out. Hopefully, she'll do more talking in later episodes. By that time maybe we'll find out her name...
I'm gonna be all screwed up if her name turns out to be something new and original...

Nope, Colonel says "Barrel-Taisan". In FMA people say "Mustang-Taisan", not "Roy-Taisan".

Back to the subject.... I think she's related to Barrel in some kind of way, but how? I don't know. First of all, Enzan found her in a old military facility and we can assume that Barrel was in the military.
Also, is Colonel is her net navi or she has a new one? (With preview of ep.7, it's more likely she has her own than having Colonel)

I wonder if there is some weird amerouppe connection going on. Remember how in the movie that was the amerouppe base and wily was working for the a. army which was doing experimental stuff like de-materialization. I wonder if he also has some connection to beyondard. Also Barrel knows wily so maybe there is some connection between the girl and wily and beyondard(through barrel)?
