So far, they seem to have little interest in doing female characters.
Female action figures tend not to do so well in stores.
But, Mega Man probably has a stronger female fanbase than many series.
Questions are, do they care about action figures, and do they care about female characters?
If the answer to both questions is "yes," then telling Jazwares would be a good idea so they might have some idea of interest.
Personally, I tried to get them on the road to making smaller GI Joe/Star Wars-sized figures, so maybe they could do multi-packs and include females. Like, say, a MMZ pack could have all Four Guardians, including Levi.
Instead, though, they went with those other mini figures.

I got 6" Jazwares Blues recently. Surprisingly, he's isn't very assy. Despite having lesser articulation compared to Cut Man (not only can his head not move, he cannot rotate his waist like Cut Man).
Female figures, quite frankly I find it a slap in the face Command Mission X MKII comes with Marino's weapons, but no Marino. Also in terms of Jazwares doing female MM people I don't know if they'd look nice with the system of articulation they use. I'll have to draw a diagram on how it would look like. |

This past weekend I finally found Megaman Zero and Command Mission X at KB. After sorting through the ones they had to find the ones with the best paint apps, I bought them both and took them home. While They look nice overall, I'm really disappointed in the articulation choice for both of them. They went with the articulation style that the 10" figures have, which means the arms don't rotate above the elbow, but below it, which is dumb. Also, MMZ has even less leg articulation than CMX does. His hips only move on one axis and that is either up or down, his knees bend, but they're extremely square and look weird when you pose him. No swivel in the knees either, same as the elbow thing. It was just a major let down. I mean, he looks cool standing up straight with his swords in position, but...if you try to put him in an action pose it gets awkward. I do wish they had just gone with the typical articulation molds they had before, or at least improved upon them. This is more like a step back.
Also, on CMX, if you look at his hands, he has fingernails.... Ew. They just look creepy. I dunno why they did that or why they gave him such huge hands in the first place. I also dunno why they decided to give him a weird light saber instead of his modified X-Buster or why they didn't give him an attachable "scarf" thing for his back. Oh well. I made one for him. ^_^ I doubt they'll make these again with improvements, but I wish they would. Or give the license to someone else. I think I'd like to see what another company could do with the Megaman characters now. :/ _________________ Power wielded by incompetance leads to nothing but self destruction. |

Ugh, I absolutely HATE bad paint jobs (unless of course the toy costs like $2 bucks). I generally never buy figures if they have them. I'm also really picky and will spend time looking for imperfections on a toy/plush before I buy it, comparing it with others of the same. XD
Guess that rules me out of getting any of those toys. I haven't even seen them around, either. -_-; _________________ deviantART / Live Journal / Yaoi Gallery |

Dude, Star Wars Super D toys (they're coming back) at Burger Kng are worth the $2 and it comes with food!
I have a decently painted Rush, but I keep thinking he has more of a retro roto feel due to the vinyl. He's too good to be 6 inch grade! |

I'm in agreement that all those had rather poor paint jobs, but I usually find the paint jobs to be decent and prefer not to mess with them, especially on the 6-inch-grade EXE series figures. The one time I did a paint job on a model or figure was a silfer-and-gold paintwork on an Ultimate Armor X figure I picked up a couple years ago.
(Off-topicness, but my friend and I used to do paint jobs on the Star Wars Super D toys. We opened them up and painted Boba Fett to look like Jango Fett, and also made a Red, Green, and Blue Clone Trooper. We'd wrap them back up using a special device my friend had at his workplace and sell them on eBay...funny thing was...our initial investment was $2 per toy and we were able to get at least $30 on each figure...go figure O_o) _________________ Better to keep your mouth shut and make people wonder if you are stupid, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. |

So that was you!! Security!
Ahhh, just kidding. The only time I invested any money in SW figues was during the original trilogy remake era. (I have the rare transparent blue "force" Obi Wan figure that was a Kellogs mail away exclusive. ^_^ He's fully posable, from a certain point of view. )
But yeah, the Jazwares figures, while somewhat disappointing, are still okay in their own right. I mean, one good feature about the MMZ figure is that his color scheme is pretty much exactly what it is in the game. That color purple is hard to match, but they did it. Most of my complaints are about CMX. He should have at least came with his trademark buster. That would have made the figure about 3x better. _________________ Power wielded by incompetance leads to nothing but self destruction. |

I think the style of their figures is great, but the quality is a big detriment to me. I think it would be to their advantage to make the quality a little better. then I might buy it! _________________ You're an honest man, that's good. Aside from the way MMZero's legs are positiioned at the waist, I think his poseability is perfect. I wish his hair was softer though. Oh well, still great. _________________ Once I was Dr Kain, but I died and have been reborn as Gankutsuou. |
