|
|
I figure it's about time I did one of these...
Intro: GutsMan wanders through Net City on an errand, trying to remember what groceries Dekao needed to order for his curry... Suddenly, a manhole cover blows open with a sudden blast of water! More covers fly open, and the street floods.
Meanwhile, Meiru and Netto are chatting over at Maha, with Dekao behind the counter humming happily over a steaming pot of curry and Dingo in an apron washing tables. Dekao lifts his ladle out of the pot to taste, and is greeted by GutsMan appearing on top of it, screaming about a disaster. GutsMan leaps out of the astonished Dekao's ladle and starts ranting at Netto - Net City is under attack by a CyberBeast!
Back in Net City, something resembling a cross between the Stay-Puf Marshmallow Man and - er - BubbleMan stalks in. "I am CyberBeast Burble!" And then a short speech, finishing off with "puku". Rockman and Roll glance at each other. "...Puku?" Rockman fuujin-rackets the creature, revealing it to be made of easily-blown-away foam... covering a pair of stilts with BubbleMan on top. "BubbleMan!"
"...Oh, forget it puku..." says a dejected BubbleMan as he starts to stalk off, still on the stilts. Rockman chases after, exclaiming that he has something he needs to ask, but BubbleMan still wants nothing to do with him. Enter TomahawkMan, jacking in on top of a building. "Leave this to me! Tomahawk Air Raid!" The flying axe slices the stilts to pieces, and BubbleMan goes thud (leaving an impressive crater). He runs off before Rockman can catch up with him, and there's still enough foam on the ground that Rockman slips and falls...
Episode 6: The Navi Remodeling Project!
Cut to AquaMan and IceMan playing some odd kind of hide-and-seek game. Seriously, I have no clue what's going on here... But when AquaMan goes off to find IceMan, he heads another direction - and finds BubbleMan! Caught, BubbleMan tries to explain himself ("I'm innocent puku!") to a bemused Netto and Meiru. Ever since ShadeMan-sama got deleted, he's been completely aimless with no Darkloid cause to follow... He can't seem to get it through his head that he's not actually in trouble.
Finally, Rockman gets to ask BubbleMan the question he's had on his mind ever since episode one: where do babies come from? (okay, okay, just the one baby) BubbleMan is hesitant to answer at first - he still has an instinctive distrust of Rockman and the rest - but an axe swung a few inches from his face (thanks, TomahawkMan) changes his tune pretty quickly...
BubbleMan explains to the other Navis what happened in episode 1 - he was trapped in ice (apparently for 20 years - Colonel had travelled back in time to do it!), it was melted by a mysterious light, he found a baby and brought it to Net City... Rockman wants to know just where he was, and BubbleMan tells him: Ameroppa, in an abandoned military complex. TomahawkMan does the axe thing again - "You'd better not be lying to us!" - but BubbleMan insists he's telling the truth. IceMan and AquaMan agree, anyway, and BubbleMan is overcome with emotion at someone finally acting supportive.
Netto relays the information to his father, Meijin, and Enzan, together at the laboratory. So Trill is an Ameroppan Navi...? Enzan gets Blues to charter a jet to Ameroppa. Netto wants to come along, but - no. Netto gets a different assignment - figure out why Navis have been vanishing. He complains about it, but to no avail.
Back on the Net, Trill is showing off his(her?) collection of virus cubes to BubbleMan, AquaMan, and IceMan. AquaMan and IceMan think it's pretty spiffy, but BubbleMan doesn't believe it. After a bit of "gimme that!" "don't wanna!", one of the cubes (a Moley virus from EXE3) topples out, reforms, and vanishes down a hole.
Yuuichiro and Meijin speculate about why Trill causes Rockman to beast-out, then we cut to Enzan getting a briefing on the plane over to Ameroppa. He lands at the current military complex and meets his contact, who drives him over to the old abandoned one. "Is this it?" "It's been a long time since I came here..."
The two of them start in, and the soldier offers to start up the generator. After he leaves, Enzan notices mysterious lights and sounds coming from down the hallway. Once the soldier pulls the lever and the lights turn on... there she is. The Mystery Girl. Once the lights are all on, though, a strange light comes from a monitor on the generator room. The soldier screams - and that's the last we see of him.
Enzan tries to interrogate the girl, but she stays silent... and then the sirens go off. Something's put the base under red alert! Grabbing the girl's hand, Enzan tries to make a break for the exit - but he's trapped.
Eyecatch! Dingo/TomahawkMan, then Netto/Rockman.
Back in Net City, there's a 'netball' game going on between two teams of FootMen (GridMen). Suddenly, a strange clear pyramid hovers over the field... there's a flash of light, and all of the players vanish. Z-PharaohMan is finally revealed, chuckling at the latest addition to his army.
Meijin contacts Netto and explains what's going on (there's a bit where he goes "San wa iranai!", making a silly pun on "san" meaning the number 3, but I didn't quite catch the context). Netto tries to ask Rockman his advice, but - where's Rockman? "He's over in my PET," explains Meiru. Eh? It turns out Rockman is trying to get Roll to take care of Trill while he's gone "off at work", but Trill pouts and absolutely refuses. Roll, on the other hand, enjoys the idea of taking care of the kid while Rockman is off at work. "Bye, darling!"
Cut to Z-SparkMan in front of Falzer's altar, pledging to interrupt this latest scheme by Griega's army...
And back to Rockman and Rush (who was in the stands of the game when it happened). They're standing in the deserted football field, while Netto listens in... Rush said he saw a flying object over Net City? Well, why not just leave that up to Net City's security? This causes Rush to pop out into the real world and kick Netto in the shins. Ow!
The pyramid hovers ominously over Net City, full of sarcophagi... One of which contains FootMan, his normal emblem getting replaced (quite painfully) with Greiga's. Suddenly, there's an explosion of lightning - it's Z-Sparkman! He proceeds to destroy the pyramid's cloaking system and all of the coffins, then the two Zoanoroids fight... briefly. Pharaohman locks SparkMan inside a coffin, and that's the end of that.
Back in Ameroppa, Enzan and Mystery Girl make their way to the security room. Enzan jacks Blues in, only to discover a swarm of zoano-viruses (the beasted-out viruses we've seen in previous episodes). He Z-sabers the lot of them...
Meanwhile, Netto has tracked the pyramid's control to a warehouse... with a Copyroid in it! Z-Pharaohman escapes from his pyramid system to the Copyroid. Netto gets a Dimensional Area and cross-fusions - nothing we haven't seen before. They fight a bit, PharaohMan's eye-beams versus CF-Netto's samurai sword. PharaohMan goes into his sphinx-like beast form, but it doesn't last long (too bad; it looks pretty cool)... He gets one good claw swipe in on Netto, then gets skewered on a Bamboo Lance attack and hyper-bursted into fragments. Back to the Net for him.
Meanwhile, Trill's pulled the kawarimi trick again on Roll. The baby's gone again!
Rockman plugs into the pyramid's system, and discovers, in one of the still-remaining coffins, the newly Zoanorized (is that a word?) FootMan... And then is discovered himself by Z-PharaohMan and a newly Greiga-converted SparkMan! The two navis double-team Rockman (SparkMan in beast form, PharaohMan just hovering ominously sending eye-beams and meteors down), and it's too much. Rockman's nearly deleted - but in comes Trill. A laser, a Spark Arm attack, and Trill all reach Rockman at the same time...
And Rockman's back in his Greiga Beast form. Words frankly can't do this fight scene justice - he defeats Z-SparkMan by ripping off his chest-symbol. Ouch. Enzan, watching the fight from the control room in Ameroppa, apparently gets Vulcan nerve-pinched by Mysterious Girl ("...I'm sorry..."), and when Blues discovers the mysterious light, isn't there to guide him.
Beast-Out Rockman continues to rampage, destroying the pyramid and sending Z-Pharaohman fleeing for his life... And then escapes into Net City proper. He's completely out of control...
...And that's where it ends. Pretty good episode, if you ask me. |

Wow, this episode sounds spectacular! Does Sparks escape, or get deleted? I'm also surprised Pharaohman survived. I don't know why. He just seems like a character that would get offed immediantly. |

I'd say so too, Especially the [spoil:1ce0e5979d]beast out ripping core thing.[/spoil:1ce0e5979d]
Trill is up to his/her little antics again, poor roll...
Like many people I want to see this episode too but my computer doesn't like bittorent... T_T (takes too long to download an episode)
I give this episode a 9.5/10 *runs before gets pelted by the other raters* |

Well this is a surprise... Apparently, Zoanaroids can be changed from Falzer worshipers to Greiga worshipers (and vice versa, assumingly). Or is this just Z-PharaohMan's own ability?
So it seems another magical plothole as to why there is a Z-PharaohMan... Heck, Forte didn't even make an appearance. He should be at least curious as why his former self is serving someone else... Well, they may encounter each other later. You did say he ran away...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but you said 'FootMen' were taken. Then later only ONE Z-FootMan appears. What happened to the others? [spoil:47bca2ccfc]And what happened to the FootMan premiered in the movie's opening?[/spoil:47bca2ccfc]It also seems that the transition into Zoanaroids is quite a painful process. Or is it so because FootMan's not yet deleted?
Meijin's seiyuu got more work this episode: He is originaly PharaohMan's voice actor... Gotta love these Japanese seiyuus: they're really amazing (remembers Dark Rockman, Rush, etc)
And speaking of seiyuus, is there a new name in the credits of this episode that could possibly be the name of the Mystery Girl? _________________ 闇の黒井心の本当のカ

It is her, but she's in there as "Girl"
Pharahman's power allows him to turn other navis into Zoans and then change their alliegance.
I liked the episode, Stay Bubb Mashmellow Man. \o/ _________________

And we get to see Footman? I love his battlechip in the games But poor Footman gets transformed into a worshipper
And Sparkman gets converted? Wow that's definitely new.

No he's quite dead. His navi mark was ripped out and then he was deleted like Plantman was. On the other hand blowing up a Copyroid doesn't delete the navi since Pharoahman is fine. So Punk could still be around. Otherwise Faltzer is really out numbered since Greiga had Plantman, Flameman, Pharoahman and now Sparkman, while Faltzer only had Punk, and Sparkman who was converted. |

This episode was suspringly good. The only disappointing this was that no one even mentioned Pharoahman, minus Sparkman. I was hoping that Netto or Rockman would be shocked. But they just called him a Zoanoroid, like Season 1 had never happened.
Also disappointed that they didn't give the mysterious girl a name. I bet they don't even tell us next week. We'll have to wait for CoroCoro or ep 8 (The episode right before EXE 6 comes out).
Footman was a shocker, they never do Meijin navis, well... never used to. But to answer the earlier question, there is only 1 Footman because all the other coffins got destroyed in the fights.
And Sparkman's deletion is up there with Shadowman and Shademan's, totally kickass.
EDIT: I'm also surprised at the number of new themes in this episode alone. Beast definately needs an OST, the "Zoanoroid Beast Out" theme is really cool.

I saw the Ep very good ep.
My theory on the Footman thing is that it's a certin program that creates a game of football created by the guy who op'ed footman in the movie.
But I think Pharoman will be sticking around for a few eps... my werid worry is that Forte will show up and be like wtf youre the old me! WE MUST FIGHT....Too much fanstay
Music i must say was very good the Mystery girls theme was like X-files music and the beast out theme was amazing....i wonder what happens to her in the next ep _________________ Xbox Live Gamertag username:

remember people in EXE, mainly rock and netto, have major Amnesia problems, always forgetting how to netbattle, and forgetting who people are.
well the whole thing about Zoan navi's is they are from Beyondard normally, only Z-pharoh seems like he can change non zoans into zoan navis.
As for the Z-Footman thing I haven't seen the movie but the screen shots made it seem as if the scientist from EXE3 was operating Foot, the lady scientist that stood where Meijin does in Black. The scientist at the battle arena in the screen shots looked like her to me. _________________ I didn't lose my mind, I sold it on eBay!

Hopefully, Z-Pharaohman will be given some significance if he sticks around for a bit. He was such a cruical plot factor in the original EXE... I mean, deleting Rockman, nearly destroying the world, and then becoming Gospel and Forte... I'd say he's important. _________________

I think they weren't as shocked sine, by the time they went through the Plantman/Sparkman deal, they already got it. "These only LOOK like the NAVIs we've fought a billion times before." |

Yeah, Z-PharoahMan may hang out for a bit. His ability might be a key factor in Beast's plot. And yes - the animators seem to have forgotten all about EXE Season 1, but we'll just have to wait for Forte to appear and hear what he has to say about it... I wouldn't say that Netto has complete amnesia, though: he did remember BeastMan back in Stream. Or maybe he (and probably everybody else) suffers from short-term memory loss? I mean, I wouldn't forget the person who tried to drop a satellite on my city... Let alone someone who deleted me...
First Punk, now FootMan... we've only got to wait for three more, assuming that Meijin does have a Navi in EXE6... Just don't let them be Zoans as well... Too bad that none of them turns out to be his. Moreover, the most likely one to be his Navi turns out to be a Zoanaroid from the start... At least our prayers to see them have been answerd... OMG I think I just realized why they created a Z-Punk!!!
@Sketch: when you say "Girl", do you mean the Mystery Girl? It seems that the animators want to give us more reasons to tune into Beast... _________________ 闇の黒井心の本当のカ

You forgot Footman, he was converted to Zoanoroid as well. Geez, with all of these new Zoans, I'm going to have to start another checklist again. (Actually, since I'm learning HTML and Web Design this term in college, it'll be more of a full-fledged Zoanoroid database if you ask me.) |

I can imagine how Rockman can act like the modern dad by saying 'Bye, darling!' to Roll when he asks her to take care of Trill. _________________

Z-Pharoahman isn't going to make Forte appear. He isn't the same "Ultimate Navi", just a random Zoanoroid. This is like Airman and Astroid Airman, no relation, since Airman is still alive. |

You were right: Words can't do justice for the Greiga-Rock vs. Spark and Pharaohman fight. The episode was really cool. After the not so good episode 5 this was really good. |
