Slur's Halloween (Small quick fic, nothing too special)

Sorry for not updating my other two fics. I've been getting a huge amount of homework in school to have enough free time. And I wanted to write a holiday fic, so I came up with this. This is the first Halloween fic I've ever written, so don't expect it to be really good.

Slur's Halloween

Well, here it is...

"So let me get this straight: You want to go to Earth to celebrate a holiday called Halloween?" Duo asked Slur.

"Yes. I heard that it's really fun, and I figured since now that we're not judging Earth, maybe we could be friends with the Earthlings...with the navis and humans we tested." Slur said.

"That would be a waste of time. While you're playing around with them, we won't be destroying evil. And this universe is infected with evil." Duo replied.

"Will you forget about the destruction of evil for a second?!?" Slur asked.

"Slur, if I didn't know better, I'd almost say you're defying me." Duo said.

"I am not! I'm just really interested in this Earth holiday and want to go down there and see what it's all about! But you're being a cruel heartless dictator!" Slur shouted.

She than gasped and said "Duo-sama, I'm sorry-"

"Silence. It is obvious that you will not capitulate to my refusal, so I guess I could let you go down for awhile." Duo said.

Slur smiled. After thanking Duo, she went down to Earth's cyberworld.

Slur looked around the Akihara Network in confusion. Every navi she saw was dressed up in costume or disguise, and all of them were walking up to various homepages, shouting the words "Trick-or-treat!" The navis who shouted would get cyber candy-candies invented just recently for navis.

"This is...strange..." She said to herself.

Slur tapped another navi on the shoulder.

''Um, excuse me, but what exactly do you do on Halloween?" She asked.

The navi gave her a look that read 'you're kidding, right?'

"Uh, lady, on Halloween everyone dresses up in costume and goes trick-or-treating for candy. Everyone knows that!" The navi said before walking away.

Slur shrugged and walked towards the nearest navi costume shop. A few minutes later, Slur came back out in a black robe with a hood on and a scythe. Her green hair still stuck out though. She could tell that her costume was good because several navis whispered about how it looked to eachother.

Slur blushed and decided that she wasn't going to trick-or-treat, but she would at least attend a Halloween party being held in Akihara square. Upon arriving, Slur gasped in amazement on how much the place had been set-up. Several multi-colored lights shone everywhere, adn disco balls floated in mid-air. There were tables with various assorted cyber foods and snacks, and a dance floor as well. A speaker boomed with strange music about ghosts and hounds of hell and the word 'thriller.'

Already there were at least 200 navis here. Slur smiled and decided to enjoy herself. This party was the one chance she had to not be under the constant orders of Duo, and she was gonna live the moment to it's fullest.

About a few hours later, Slur was sitting down over on a seat, watching navis have dance-offs and doing other various enjoyable things. She had just recently learned how to dance, won a most mysterious costume contest, and was hit on by several boy navis. She had a small bag of stuff from the party that she would bring back to the Asteroid when she left.

"Halloween is very fun...Duo doesn't know what he's missing." Slur said.

"Did you just say Duo?" Another voice said.

Slur looked up and immidiately recognized the navi as Rockman. He was, however, dressed up as a Medieval knight.

"Um, yes. Duo's the name of one of my anti-social friends." Slur said, glad that the black hood over her head hid her face from view.

Rockman sat down next to her.

"Oh, okay. I thought you meant the Duo who tried to destroy Earth a few months ago. You did hear about that, didn't you?" Rockman said.

"No, not really." Slur said.

"Oh well, he's gone now anyways. It's a shame, I think that if if he didn't leave after passing judgement on Earth, we might've been friends. Or at least his assistant, her name was Slur. She seemed a little more emotional than him." Rockman said.

Slur blushed under the cover of her hood.

"Well, they might be thinking the same about you, you never know." She said.

Rockman extended his hand to her.

"My name's Rockman. Pleased to meet you." He said.

Slur took his hand.

"My name is...uh, Jazz! Yeah, it's Jazz..." She said.

Slur got up to leave.

"I actually should be leaving. Good to meet you, Rockman." Slur said.

"Alright. Same here." Rockman said.

When Slur was out of Rockman's view and a good distance away from the party, she took off her hood.

"Don't worry, Rockman. Some of us wish we could have fun and make friends, too." She said, returning to the Asteroid.

Yay! Slur's other not ebil side. A great fic CFS. We dont see too many fics out of you, you should write more often. I can just picture Forte sitting there with a chocalate bar fuming and eating.
