My obsession for Pokemon comes and goes. It always has, for some reason. I think because people at school usually beat you down for liking it, but in secret, they like it too. ._.
I don't like the dub. I've never seen the japanese episodes, so I can't judge the anime by its American version. But I've always been hooked on the games- every new game brings something different, and almost endless possibilities. Plus, no one can deny how cool some of them look. Lugia, of course, has always been my favorite, ever since the second movie came out in 2000. <3 The first two movies were probably the best... then I personally thought it got kind of repetitive.
When Pokemon first came out, I was obsessed with the TCG. Later on, it kind of left my interest, but I still have all of my old cards, including my first edition holo-Venusaur and my japanese holo-Dragonite. Doesn't sound like much, but they're my most prized. ^ ^ _________________

Jirachi-Pre Order Colloseum in the US and then use the disc to get Jirachi on a GBA Ru/Sa once for EACH cartridge.
I love Pokémon Games too, just I'm starting to get a little burnt out over the GBA ones now...still got to beat the Elite 4 for the Second Time in FR and get past the Twins in Emerald...I've been lazy in that.
I tried using some different ones in Emerald though, but I have trouble with Nuzleaf, neither Lotad or Seedot's evolutions seem to be strong Grass types. _________________

Yes the Jirachi disk. I have so many Jirachi... I'm looking forward to using Munchlax, Snorlax is so annoying to beat and Munchlax will hopefully be faster. T_T _________________

A few years ago, I was really into Pokemon. I bough many Pokemon Trading Cards as I was able to, and I purchased some of the gmaes so that I could my own Pokemon and not having to rely on the rental Pokemon that could be used. As of late, my interest in the series has been waning, yet I still watch the anime, so my ties with the series have not been broken entirely. Perhaps my interest will take off once again when the next Pokemon games come out, especially the ones planned for the Nintendo DS. |

I've been playing Ruby/Sapphire on and off for a while now.
I prefer Ruby, due to the fact that I like having Groudon on my team - even though Kyogre is probably stronger. Meh. <_<
Breloom has a neat trick (Even though most of you probably know already) - delay evolution until level 55 and he'll learn Spore.
Evolve him, then teach him Focus Punch.
Spore + Focus Punch 8> most things. XP _________________

Yup. Bonsly is the baby form of Sudowoodo and the baby form of Mr. Mime is ...a ghost-looking thing with no name. Google around for details. XD |
Yeah, the Japanese names are Usohachii (Bonsly), and Manene (the Mr. Mime baby).
I love Ken-sama's artwork. It's so somple looking, yet, it's actually complicated. It's hard to imitate.. xD And he comes up with lots of cool designs.
Anyone who hasn't seen Japanese subbed stuff should. o.o if you hate the anime it'll make you like it. Especially the movies. |
Yeah, his artwork's REALLY EASY to tell...he has drawn almost all the existing characters!
Oh, and I'm with you on the Japanese version. Satoshi sounds A LOT COOLER than Ash ;D Just found that out when I watched the Japanese version of Destiny Deoxys (yes, I'm using the main character's different names interchangably to emphasize my point) _________________

(Oh jeez.....an emoticon of that baby.... -.- )
I bought XD: Gale of Darkness a while ago, and I have to say, its nice... just nice. Not great like Colosseum was, it was too short. They crammed so many Shadow Pokemon together and so many were so easy to Snag.
What little wild pokemon the game had were annoying ones, Zubat, Sandshrew. ect...
[spoil:88249fc023]The Final Battle has all Shadow Pokemon, 3 of which are the Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres, and they're super easy to snag.[/spoil:88249fc023]
When Hurricane Wilma took out my power, I was so bored I was actually running around my emerald with the itemfinder, looking for treasure. |

Bah, Kyogre may be stronger stat-wise, but Groudon has more combo potential. Obviously, pairing it with a Fire type or pokemon with Solarbeam has its benefits. But try teaming it with a Latios/Latias that has Helping Hand. Helping Hand's boost + Earthquake = massive amounts of destruction; Latios'/Latias' Levitate keeps it safe from the Earthquake, while the boosted attack inflicts insane amounts of damage on opponents, often KOing both at once. Substitue with Eruption as needed and no pokemon will be safe.
OT EDIT: And....I just realized my title has been changed to "Queen of France."

On the flip side, Kyogre already has pretty high Sp Atk and Def. Plus it's ability is more type friendly than Groudon's, who has very few Fire moves (Fireblast and Eruption). Plus, Groudon isn't a Fire type either, so Kyogre ends up with better stat multipliers in general. _________________

Volt Tackle is an Elec-based Double Edge. It is learned by Pichu-Riachu when you breed a Female Pikachu with a Light Ball attached to it. Emerald only. _________________

In order to have gotten Jirachi Magicman, you had to have preordered Pokemon Colosseum which came with a special bonus disk that had Jirachi included and all that had to be done, was to simply download it onto either Ruby or Sapphire. I'm too sure about Emerald as that one came along almost a year later. As for Deoxys, I know that it exists in Fire Red, Leaf Green, and Emerald, but I think you had to have a special item from Nintendo in order to reach the island in which it can be found. I'm not sure if anyone is using their own custom Deoxys for I have been out of the Pokemon loop for some time. |

Yea, Emerald has quite a few ticket event Pokemon, Deoxys, Ho-oh AND Lugia on one island, and Mew. AND OF COURSE! Normally, you can only get to them through event ticket things that only happen in New York.
BUT... If you have an Action Reply, you can get to the islands via Warp Code, where you just walk through a door and your there. I did it and I'm surprized nothing went wrong. Gale of Darkness even allows you to use the Mew and Deoxys where as coded up ones can't. |

I still play the games. Last one was LG. Made a pretty damn good team consisting of Blastoise, Victoreebel, Pigeot, Ninetails, Electrode, and one more that I forget.
The anime is far too kiddy for my tastres anymore. I remember an article about it when it first came out that said '' Some graphic scenes involving punching were taken out.'' ... And a lot of other cartoon shows had worse than that, Batman had guns, and no one threw a fuss over that... _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'

Yeah, we got the really shitty version. Disgusting. My party in Sapphire consists of Jirachi, Deoxys, Kyogre, Latios, Latias, and Groudon. I love the battle music for Deoxys. By the way, what's the name of the island that Deoxys, Lugia, etc. can be found on? Just curious, not planning on cheating to go there. _________________ EXEHQ. Click now, I demand it.

Faraway Island (Mew) (Emerald Only)
Birth Island (Deoxys)
Navel Rock (Lugia and Ho-oh)
Southern Island (The other of the two, Latios or Latias)
These Islands wont appear on your map. (Southern does, once you've been there)
Cheating... maybe, but how unfair is it that they program something in the game, and not everyone can get it. It's not like parents are gonna take you from Florida to New York, just to get a few bits of data in a game.
Obtaining Jirachi made a bit more sense. |

Been watching the Japanese version of Advance Generation, and I have to say that the difference in quality as compared to the US version is blatant. ._.
Voiceacting and everything is much better, and it just seems that they're trying harder.
Though it's not as huge of a difference as it is in the movies, it's still enough to bother me. :/ _________________ 「無一物」
