I owned one of those Digivices and it actually DID "Jack into" the internet. The CD was the installer and had a regestration code in it.. The actual Digivice was used for the MMORPG system that let you fight with your digimon over the internet. You picked an advatar which looked like a Chibi Digi-destined and walked around the digiworld with other people it was sorta cool though this was back when Broadband had JUST hit it's high so most people were on dail up. The service was shut down though because of lack of use. We know that these pets won't have that feature but it does prove that it is possible. If Bandai ever decided to take another chance wtih the MMORPG thing.

cool, i do know that you can get one of those Digivices on ebay, but we are starting to get off topic. I heard the Link PET will also come with or you can buy 13 different navi skins/jackets and that they come with or you can get when you hook it up with the GBA 11 different navis to choose from. It is going to be a cool PET i hope. I am getting one as soon as they come on November 17.

i translated a the words from amazon.co.jp on the Link PET.
The data of the lock man who was reared on the game it can designate entry (retention) as the Nabi data tip/chip. Be able to grow Nabi (character) who likes other than the lock man with the net battle, it is possible to make your own sufficient original pet by the fact that the custom jacket is changed (you dress to all the 13 kinds and change possibility. Nabi total number 11 body). It can enjoy the battle simply with adoption of touch panel system! From the game to animation layer, you can enjoy to everyone of the wide fan with the simple battle which used the touch panel.
