Thanks for the comments everyone ^^. I got the name Diaboro from the Digimon Diaboromon. But yes, [spoil:b2355314a0]Diahound was indeed the name of the monster who was in YuGiOh Millenium World.[/spoil:b2355314a0] I just changed it using part of the Digimon name.

Kratos is still the sick bast of a villain that he was always meant to be, I guess. << 999 pharaohs...hopefully his reign of terror will end at Serenade's hand before the big 10^3. Diaboro sounds like one heck of a villain as well. Can't wait to see more Serenade buttwhooping action.

I'm sorry the next chapter hasn't been up. School's been taking it's toll, and me and Chibi's birthdays are only two days (one for her) away, so we've been super busy. I'm working on the new chapters as we speak. Uh, type, whatever.

I promised I'd do another chapter soon, right? Well, I made it long to make up for the wait. Some of the plot is starting to be revealed in this chapter.

Chapter 04:MasaMune

Yamatoman and Darkman had made it through Secret Net 4 to a huge doorway.

"It says we need to hit all 4 switches on this door 500 times in 10 seconds. A feat like that is impossible." Darkman said, remarking the sign by the door.

Yamatoman pulled out his spear.

"Never say it's impossible...until you try it yourself." He said.

Yamatoman used 1000 Spears on the switches, opening the door.

"Amazing..." Darkman gasped.

Both of them proceeded into the door and gasped. They saw a huge desert, stretching out for miles. However, this desert was anything but peaceful. The skies were dark, death and malice whirled in the air. Several remains of navi and virus data was scattered everywhere. Destroyed pyramids dotted the horizon, and a destroyed city could be seen in the distance. In the middle of the destroyed city was a palace, it looked destroyed and evil at the same time. A huge dragon was rising up from the palace, it's wings spread out.

Yamatoman saw what appeared to be a dying white Scuttlest in the corner. He went over to it and stroked it.

"Poor thing...you probably never stood a chance against that huge dragon beast." Yamatoman said.

He picked it up in his arms.

Darkman found a message machine.

"We can probably get this to work, if we find some way to power it." He said.

"Darkman, you can switch elements at will, right?" Yamatoman said.

Darkman nodded. Than he realized what Yamatoman was getting at.

"Ah, I see." He said, and switched to thunder.

He launched a thunder beam at the message machine, powering it up. A hologram of a navi appeared.

"Yamatoman...he looks like you!" Darkman said, both of them being equally shocked.

"For those watching this: I am Horus. What you are hearing and seeing is a recording of the last moments of Neo Ka'ammut. Allow me to tell you the story..."

Kratos swung his blade down. But Serenade blocked it with her hand just in time.

"Wha...how did you block Akumatsu with your hand?!?" He asked.

"I'll admit, it's hurting badly." Serenade said.

She withdrew her hand and extended it towards Kratos.

"DIVINE WRATH!!!" She shouted, and the huge green wave of energy burst from her fingertips, tearing Kratos apart with energy blasts.

Akumatsu glowed and formed a black aura around the dark navi, and than both of them vanished. Serenade panted.

"Barely...defeated him..." Serenade said.

She picked up the broken pieces of MuraMasa. Exilon appeared.

"Exilon...I'm sorry. It shattered..." She said.

"Do not worry. I figured it had lost it's power. There is a way to fix it, though." Exilon said.

"Far to the west of Neo Ka'ammut lies a smaller city called Rokata. They're one of our few allies. If you go there and look for a data repairsman named Forge, he should be able to make MuraMasa stronger." Exilon said.

He than turned into a spirit and went nito the hilt of the blade.

"I shall be with you...I want to aid you in your fight against Diaboro. It's the most I can do for my heir." Exilon said.

Serenade smiled.

"Your help is greatly appreciated." She said.

"Just remember: Kratos isn't deleted. Akumatsu saved him at the last moment." Exilon said.

Serenade nodded and left the tomb.

Kratos had returned to Diaboro's palace.

"Oh great Diaboro...I have failed utterly." He said.

Kratos stood up.

"Please exact punishment for my foolishness."

Diaboro screeched, and a huge bolt of darkness impaled Kratos. Kratos screamed out in pain. It was so great that cyberblood spurted out of Kratos's mouth, and tears went down his face from his eyes. The bolt vanished.

"Thank you, Diaboro...I promise not to screw up again." He looked up.

"This time I will kill the pharoah for sure!" Diaboro screeched.

"What's this? I do not need Serenade's blood to unleash you?" Kratos asked.

Diaboro screeched again. Kratos grinned wickedly.

"Hehe, perfect!" He said, and gripped Akumatsu.

Diaboro channeled more dark energy into the sword, and Kratos laughed maniacally.

Serenade had reached Rokata, along with Jackal. The Scuttlest had followed her into the desert, and she let him follow her to the city.

"We're here. Come, Jackal." She said, and approached the gate.

"State your name!" One of the soldiers said.

"Serenade, pharoah of Neo Ka'ammut. I wish to speak with Forge." She said.

Both of the guards gaspped and bowed.

"Oh Pharoah! We are honored to have you here! Please, proceed!"

Serenade entered the city, scooping up Jackal into her arms. Everyone treated her with great respect, and she quickly found her way to Forge's house. She knocked on the door. A young female navi who looked very much like Medi answered it.

However, this navi had long pink hair, and instead of white clothes, they were black. The pink lines on her clothing was blue.

"Ah, Pharoah! We recieved word about you coming from the guards! Please, enter!" She said.

Serenade entered the house. It was a pretty nice living area, one seemingly suitable for a navi with such high respect in the city. Everyone liked Forge because he would fix and repair anything he could for free.

"Master Forge! Neo Ka'ammut's pharoah is here to see you!" The female navi shouted.

A new navi, now known as Forge, came out.

"Thank you, Leora. You may go back to whatever you where doing."

Leora bowed and left.

Forge looked like Freezeman, but instead of blue skin, he had black skin with metallic spikes on his body instead of icicles. His outfit was shimmering blue, and he had several wire poking in and out of his body.

"Pharoah. I am honored to have you here." Forge said.

"Thank you, Sir Forge. I have a request. I need you to repair this sacred blade." Serenade said, placing the pieces of MuraMasa in front of Forge.

"Ah, yes. This will be easy, but I need some help from you." Forge said.

"What is it that you need?" Serenade asked.

"I require some data from a DreamVirus. We've had a raid of them each night, but I'm not strong enough alone to take them down. Should you help me, we should be able to get what we desire." Forge replied.

Serenade nodded. Stomping was heard outside. Leora ran into the room.

"Master Forge! A DreamVirus is attacking!" She said.

"Ah, perfect timing."

Forge and Serenade left the house to see the DreamVirus attacking the city. Jackal hissed.

"It seems your little Scuttlest doesn't appreciate what one of it's brethren is doing." Forge said.

"You can understand him?" Serenade asked in awe.

Jackal let out a long huge meow.

"Yes. He's saying that he's disgusted one of his own would do this and he wants to get rid of him before he can do more harm." Forge translated.

Jackal and Serenade glowed, and a white light enveloped them. When it cleared, it looked like Serenade was wearing armor made from several different white Scuttlest parts, and now she had a face mask.

"I think this should be efficient enough to take care of that." Serenade said.

Forge smiled.

"Now we're getting somewhere. Let's go."

Both of them rushed at the DreamVirus.

"Spinning Needle!" Forge shouted, launching a tornado-like storm or metal spikes at the DreamVirus.

It roared in pain. Serenade leapt up.

"Jackal Beam!" She shouted, and blasted the DreamVirus with a powered-up version of Jackal's beam attack.

The DreamVirus took a swipe at her but missed.

"Craftsmanship!" Forge shouted, waving his arm.

Several cybermetals flew up from the sands and fused into one large shuriken.

"Shadow Death Wheel!" Forge shouted, launching the shuriken.

The shuriken multiplied into 6 shurikens, and they pelted the DreamVirus. The huge virus put up it's DreamAura.

"Allow me to relieve you of that." Serenade said, absorbing the DreamAura into herself.

"Saint's Light!" She shouted, and launched a huge shining wave of energy into the DreamVirus.

It roared and exploded in a mass of pixels, leaving only small bits of data behind. Serenade and Jackal seperated. Jackal fell asleep right in Serenade's arms.

"Poor thing...you must be very exhausted." She said.

Forge finished collecting the DreamVirus data.

"Why don't you stay the night, Pharoah? I can have your blade ready by tomorrow." He said.

Serenade nodded. Later that night, Serenade watched Forge rearrange the data and repair the blade. Eventually he finished, and the katana was much longer than before. It was at least 2 meters long, and a holy aura glowed from it. The blade carried Forge's insignia on it. Exilon's spirit felt more powerful inside of it, Serenade noticed.

"Your MuraMasa is repaired." Forge said.

"No...this is no longer MuraMasa." Serenade replied.

She held it up.

"I hereby rename this sword MasaMune."

...Kratos is freaking awesome.

Another good chapter. I know I've heard the name MasaMune from somewhere. Isn't that Sephiroth's sword? I could be wrong.

Yeah, that's Sephiroth's sword. Actually, it's in pretty much every Fnial Fantasy game, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, and even Phantasy Star Online. In other words, it's a pretty famous videogame sword.

EDIT:Sorry to double post, but this is a pretty important update.

Due to a small technical error, my computer will be in repair for a few days (On my parents comp right now.) Therefore, I can't type without them looking over my shoulder or saving it. I'll post new chapters as soon as my computer gets repaired. I'm putting this message in my other fic as well.

Yes, an update! ^_^

Really interesting chapter. The part with Forge kind of reminds me of that moment in Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past for some reason. Like the part where the blacksmith tempers Link's sword for free after he brings back his long-lost brother.

There was certainly no lack of action in this chapter, and it was nice to see Serenade bust out her skills in the Dream Virus battle. This new Masamune of hers is gonna make her rock as much as Sephiroth. :]

Chapter 05:Kratos's Ultimate Secret

Yamatoman and Darkman watched the image of Horus through the recorder.

"A vile navi known as Kratos has slain our pharoah, Serenade."

Yamatoman and Darkman gasped.

"The pharoah before her claimed she would be reincarnated, and eventually return here before Kratos had slain her. Upon killing Serenade, he could unleash the mighty Hell Dragon Virusbeast, Diaboro. This city...our city...is probably in unspeakable ruin. Serenade, however, will returned to her past live to stop this from happening, it is the custom of our lineage. But for now...Diaboro is unleashed at. You see him looming over the destroyed palace? Stay far, far, away. He could easily delete you."

Then, static. Yamatoman and Darkman looked at the dragon.

"You heard him." Darkman said.

"Let us wait. We'll wait for Lord Serenade to return, having saved an entire desert." Yamatoman said.

Kratos walked through the desert towards Rokata. He had reached the gates.

"Who goes there?!?" The guard navis asked.

Kratos merely grinned wickedly and held out Akumatsu. The evil blade's very aura tore the navis appart, and Kratos entered the town.

At Forge's house, everyone but Leora and Serenade were asleep. Leora was watching over the house. Serenade was in Forge's room, trying to sleep, but she couldn't.

"This blade...will it be powerful enough to destroy Kratos?" She wondered aloud.

"Master Forge! Pharoah!!" Leora shouted, running into the room.

"Someone is here, demanding we hand over the pharoah!!!"

Forge got up.

"Damn...Leora! Stall him!" Forge ordered, as he and Serenade escaped through the back entrance to the desert.

Leora nodded, and went outside.

"Who are you?!?" She asked.

"My name is Kratos. And you are merely fodder for my blade!!!" He shouted.

Leora clasped her hands together.

"Shimmering Ray!!" She shouted, and launched a huge beam of light onto Kratos.

It blasted away half of his cheast area, as well as one arm.

"Metra Cannon!" She shouted, and blasted Kratos with a huge energy beam.

When it cleared, Kratos was, somehow, fully healed.

"It doesn't matter how much you damage me, little girl!! Diaboro's shadow energy will always heal me!"

Kratos thrust his Akumatsu straight through Leora's heart.

"Master...Forge..." She gasped out, before being deleted.

Kratos licked the cyber-blood off his blade.

"Who's next?!?" He shouted, laughing maniacally.

"No..." Forge said.

"Sir Forge, what's wrong?!?" Serenade asked.

"Leora...I can't feel her presence. She's gone." Forge replied.

"Damn that Kratos!" Serenade said.

Kratos suddenly dashed up to them.

"Going somewhere?!?" He asked.

"Spinning Needle!" Forge shouted, and launched several needles at Kratos.

They bounced off.

"Old man, you are nowhere near my level of strength!!!" Kratos shouted.

"Grr..." Forge growled.

"Sir Forge!! Let me take care of him!" Serenade said.

"No...I will avenge Leora." Forge replied, and placed his hands onto the ground and channeled his energy into it.

Several cyber metals flew up and all formed into a giant metal statue.

"God's Fist!!!" Forge shouted, and the statue launched a punch attack onto Kratos.

The dark navi merely held out his finger, and when the punch connected with his finger, the whole statue shattered. Forge gasped.

"Ultimate Dark Sword Technique:Yamigarasu!!!" Kratos shouted, and faster than the speed of light, did a combo of slashes into Forge.

The old navi was sliced up.

"FORGE!!!!" Serenade shouted in dismay as she watched Kratos blasted the remains of Forge into oblivion.

"No one is left for you to hide behind, pharoah!!!" Kratos shouted saddistically, laughing.

"How dare you..." Serenade said.

Kratos looked at her curiosly. Serenade reared her head up to face Kratos.

"HOW DARE YOU DESTROY MY CITIZENS...NO, MY FRIENDS!!!" She shouted.

Serenade pulled out Masamune.

"I will deliver my Seven Trials Of Punishment unto you, Kratos!" She shouted.

"Go ahead, pharoah! See if you can defeat me with a wimpy new attack, when you nearly died before by my hands!!!" Kratos replied.

Serenade dashed at Kratos.

"First Trial! Scorpion's Tail Rage!!" Serenade shouted, and stabbed into a surprised Kratos with several quick thrusts of her Masamune.

"Second Trial! Dragon's Breath!!" Serenade said, and swung Masamune at Kratos.

Flames leapt out at him and scorched him.

"Third Trial! Spinning Edge!" Serenade shouted, and threw Masamune in a circular motion that looked like a giant spinning disc.

It cut Kratos deep.

"Fourth Trial! Deluge Of Blood!!!" Serenade stabbed Kratos directly through the eye on his chest.

They eye twitched and sputtered out cyber blood, and Kratos shouted in pain. Serenade withdrew the sword.

"Fifth Trial! Thunder Dome!" A huge dome appeared around Kratos, and he was shocked badly.

"Sixth Trial! Illusory World!!" Serenade shouted, and created several dopplegangers of herself.

They all dashed to Kratos and slashed him up badly.

"Seventh Trial!! Banishment Of Evil!!"

Serenade swung Masamune down upon Akumatsu. The dark blade shattered, leaving Kratos very shocked.

"If I didn't have this sword, you might still have a chance, but without your dark sword, you are nothing against me." Serenade said.

Surprisingly, despite the fact that he was everly injured and lost his most powerful weapon, Kratos was laughing.

"You idiot pharoah! That blade had the power to kill even souls! All I had to do was dstroy your new sword and kill the old pharoah's spirit to release Diaboro!!"

He looked directly at Serenade, grinning wickedly.

"Now I have to kill you instead to release my master."

He started to glow.

"And by the way: That sword wasn't my best weapon."

The glow completely eneveloped him, momentarily blinding Serenade. When she could see Kratos again, she was amazed and shocked at the sight. Kratos looked like he had merged with a phoinex.

"I am no longer just ordinary Kratos, pharoah." This new Kratos said.

"You may now call me...Falzer Kratos!!!"

Serenade has some kickin' new moves, I must say. Kratos could bearly fight back. Yet he's still alive, and like... about to beast out? Nice one =D

It was quite tragic to see two characters suddenly bite it...I for one surely thought that Forge would continue on as a canon character in this fic, a kind of backup for Serenade. And seeing a Falzer Unison/Beast Out transformation was certainly unexpected, and gives this read a very interesting twist. Looking forward to more of this, definitely.

Hard to imagine Kratos was able to do anything after all that damage. x_o The unison with Falzer was certainly unexpected- I'm looking forward to this next fight between him and Serenade.
