Luckly for me I happen to own both a DS and a wireless router, thought when mario kart and animal crossing come out I will try to get both,
but how do you play animal crossing? I've played mario kart on the 64 but not animal crossing.

Just wondering, would the USB adapter be available in stores, or is it only available through Nintendo's online store? I don't have a wireless router, and I don't think I can stand waiting for shipping! x_x

No, but they were given out to store managers early.

Looking at the games now, they don't seem like too much fun. I'll just pass on the whole wi-fi thing until Hunters comes around.

I cant wait for a decent game with Wi Fi, I am not a mario kart fan so I am not gonna get it just becasue of online play, I might get Animal crossing so everyone here with a DS can interact. Well that is probably what I will wind up getting, depends on what other games are coming out with Wi Fi to determin if I want to get the USB, WiFi connector or not.

Well aparently it is only avalable from Nintendo's online web site or through their toll free number. or that is what it seamed like from what I read, didn't say it could be purchased in stores yet.

I have a wireless network at home, so hopefully I won't be needing the adapter. Otherwise, I may hang out at EB and Myer a bit XP

yes if you have a wireless network at home a USB wireles adaptor is not required, just if you don't have a router at home.

I mailed out my USB port for first day delivery, so I should be joining soon. Since I have no use for a Live Journal, it will exist simply to post in the community. Hopefully Comcast high speed internet is enough to handle it.

One thing that's bugging me is if they have Balloon Battle in Wi-fi connection for Mario Kart.

I highly recommend the LinkSys WRT54G wireless router. Should be able to find them at Wal-Mart, which is where I got mine. I just hooked it up and it was good to go. No special passwords or setup needed for the DS to use it.
