VGR's OT Crap (minor shoujo-ai)

Awsome image. I know it was requested by Darth Osiris, but I always pictured Netto as being in Osiris Red, or as they say in the dub a SLIFER SLACKER, because well Lan tends to be a bit clueless sometimes. Enzan seems like the type to be in Obelisk, and Laika would probably be in Ra Yellow, so yeah. Meiru would also probably be a Slifer Slacker, and Pride I think would be in Obelisk blue just because she is a princess and that would probably influence her placement.

However even though I don't personally think the colors fit the characters to well but ohwell It is still a funny picture.

Once again you have created a magnificent piece Vanilla. I think it looks like Rockman although I had to first recognize the characters by reading your description after looking at the end result. I like the background very much and it looks as though you created the lines without an outline which makes it appear as though the buildings were real and not simply stuck in place. I can see why the outfits had to be adjusted due to the Slifer Red and Obelisk Blue uniforms that characters in Yu-Gi-Oh GX wear. I am surprised that Ra Yallow uniforms didn't make it in. And including the Duel Academy in the background....nice touch.

I can't get over the detail, in the characters as well as the background - amazing! Good poses too
The only thing that jumps out at me is the boy on the right seems to have short legs.
But very good overall Smile

Glad you thought your pic was at least okay Darth. With regard to the outfits, I wasn't that familiar with the series since I hadn't seen enough of it to learn what the characters were really like...so I based the entire choice of outfit thing on what color went with who. D: Not the best way, but at least some eye candy thrown in.

Thanks very much for the comments Ganondorf and kram_elbog. Wow, ya learn something new every day. O_o I actually wasn't too familiar with the Ra Yellow outfits by the time I drew this...and it shows. Obviously. I dunno, this pic was one of my "DUHHHH" moments...I did have one yellow outfit for Pride, but I didn't think it would look too good on her since it'd clash with her hair :grr:

Regarding everyone's comments about the detail...I guess this one turned out kind of okay. There's always room for improvement. Beginner's luck this time around.

Because of that drawing, me and my friend Mugen.exe, decide to go and start work on a Yugioh GX/Rockman fan fic, we got as far as Netto's first deck, Meiru's first deck, Shun's, and Mamoru's decks aswell and the first duel planned out, well then I realised that I could get maybe 6 of the chapters done with me doing the typing, and the story part, and him working out the duels, before my time would be filled with the start of my fic that I am starting in January, and my fic in january once started would obsorb all my fan fic writting attention.

We decided that it was too time consuming to design decks for them, and create cards for them, work out the duels, and type a story. The deck parts are easy but working out major duels, and typing the story part for each chapter would be too time consuming cause I'd have to wait for him to get the main duels laid out, and sent to me so I could type the dialouge and stuff.

He doesn't have time to do it alone with a senior project due and six classes a day. Luckily my high school is 4 classes aday, and they alternate between a and b. But the less important duels could be decided my AIm messenger, Proxied Duels but that would also take too much time to do that and type a story, almost too much work for each chapter. But we know have more respect for card creators because comming up with fair effects and stuff for cards is harder than it seems, keeping everything balanced and such.

Well now for me to get back on topic, it was a great image, and I seriously liked it, there is bound to be a few flaws in any image, wether it be tones of colors, colors, outfit mistakes, proportional mistakes, shading mistakes or what ever there is no such thing as a Flawless, or perfect image, though one may appear to it just doesn't seem to be possible to have a flawless or perfect drawing. The only flaw with your's was outfit mis matching with characters, it is still an exelent drawing because of the excellent concept behind it and character design itself.

Hey, that's exactly why I requested that pic! Only I'm not doing a crossover, but instead, an AU of both. And Lan's deck is mostly custom (a BN themed Elemental Hero deck, or "Cyber Warrior" deck).

Yeah yeah, I said I'd be back in January, but I'm just stopping in to take advantage of another golden opportunity to bore the masses. And so, lo and behold, Fairy Prince Rockman.

That's a weird pose he's in, I'll say that right now .__. Anyway, here's Rock and Roll as little Thumbelina fairies, riding on a giant bumble-something-or-other-bee and going all Honey Nuts. Trill balloons = CUTENESS. I dunno, this feels rather quickly done, but it's the best I could do considering there's way too much other stuffs going on right now in my world, one of which is artist's block. So...yeah. Sorry for making you wait, meggirl63...uhh...hope you like? ^_^

If nobody minds, I'd like to take a break from requests for a while to work on some of my own pics that have been dancing in my head for a while, crying out to be done. This of course after Ming Yi's collab is done. Just need a short break to crack the artist's block for a while.

Your art is amazing, Vanilla_Go_Rilla (Is it ok if I call you VGR, too?). I really love your realism arts, and your latest is quite sweet and well-drawn. I don't see anything wrong with this picture. The banner on the bee is quite hilarious as well. The best part, though, is the Trill balloons. So kawaii.
