thanks for the link, and lets see from the seventh scan on the Undersquare it looks makes it seem like this.
aqua beats fire
wood beats elec
fire beasts wood
elec beats aqua
but we all knew that here is the funny part
Tengu has an arrow going towards killer making it seem that
Wind beats Cursor
Cursor beats Breaking
Breaking beats Sword
Sword beats Wind, so it looks like non elemental's now have atribute weaknesses? so that gives them all a slight down sides.

And it's giving them downsides, but it makes them like the elemental ones, which have a weakness.

well lets see cursor beats breaking that I though was weird but if you think about it, Killer could find the weakest part of a bolder and destroy it, and stuff, think cursers can lock onto weak points and sucessfully toss a monkey wrench into a giant drill's gears jamming it. Cursors can pin point weakspots to stop things.
As for the other one, Sword beating wind, that is a good question I cant come up with an arguement for that and I know that my arguement to try to make Cursor > Breaking make sense wasn't that great.
I think they only did so the powerfull Cross Beasts such as Killer Beast mainly wouldn't be so great , I mean taking double damage from sword chips sure makes it hard to charge an attack properly since when you are hit the chips tend to vanish. I think they did that so all crosses had a weakness mainly because of their ability to go Cross Beast. But i do think it was a stupid Idea to give non elementals weaknesses.

Where does it show what the contest navis,Chargeman, and Dustman look like?I've checked the site and it shows the crosses,the beast crosses, the super beast outs, but not the new navis.Which button do they appear in, maybe I missed it.
May as well add my two cents:
Charge Cross:Nice design,especially the beasted version(evil trains are cool), and the fire increase is always a good thing
Dust Cross:Look, its the vaccum cleaner of doom.Meh, dont care for the design but I do like the junk-creature-thingy it makes
Elec Cross:Cool design(s), always liked Elecman(no lilac eyeshadow)
Tomahawk Cross:Very nice new design. |

sorry that I didn't make it clearer, I am now soo mad that i have to wait till it is released plus about 5 days to get it, and I am mad at the fact that I pre ordered Falzor first instead of greiga, ohwell Falzor is still a good one.

corect, Judgeman ,or as what I've heard his original name was bookman which makes sense. Well anyways yes Judgeman is next to Colonel, and yes he is fanmade.

Actually it isn't stupid, it's rather inventive if you ask me.
Wind > Cursor: Wind can screw with the balance of a weapon that requires aiming.
Breaking > Sword: A sword striking something hard can break it sometimes.
Cursor > Breaking: Everything has a weakspot, with an accurate aim you can find and exploit it even on the toughest of armor.
Sword > Wind: With a strong enough swing you most likely could push through the wind resistance letting you cut right through the wind. |

I'm not sure why, but Beats out Aqua cross reminds me of Hyperion X from the Zero series....
I am extremely dissapointed in Tomahawk cross' look, though. I was hoping for a full headress. Oh well, the single strange horn thing makes up for it in wierdness. |

Yes it is a good idea, plus the sword > wind, suggestion you gave reminded me of the Kaze no Kizu, from Inuyasha, cutting through where winds colide to unleash apowerfull attack.
Though it at first seems like a bad idea when one thinks about it, it makes perfect sense and is a great idea. Everything has a weakness, something that is used in many RPGs, but something that has been ignored in Rockman EXE. except for elements. Heck they used it in the classic, Robot Master B is weak against the attack you get from Robot master A, C is weak against B, C is weak against D, D is weak against E, and so on. With A being weak against G. So yeah it makes perfect sense.

Now, they'd better make up for it in Chip Variation, after all it's a bit boring if we can just kill Tenguman V4/Omega or whatever it is with one or two Dreamswords.
