I hope you're talking about the English voice...

Yes, I'm talking about the English voice. :] The English VA's are improved and decent this time around. I haven't had the urge to switch to JP voices yet.
I do miss Kilik screaming 'KUAAAANDO!!' (or however you spell it) when he did his Heaven's Monument throw in SC1, though. And SC2 Yunsung's "Still breeeathing?!"
Anyway...more character comparisons; Seigfreid plays very similar to SC2 Nightmare. He also has a new stance, named Base Hold (B+K), in place of that ground stance.
He's slower than I remember, but I haven't played SC2 in about a month...
Seong Mina retains her usual moves (Kilik's moveset was changed up quite a bit to separate him from her), with a few additions. She doesn't have any stances, as well.
Tira's pretty good in my experience, she's easier to use than Setsuka (then again, Setsuka's got a pretty big learning curve, it's probably just lack of practice). She also has a few infinite loop stances, though they're kind of hard of to time (somewhat like Ivy's Mistress Justice, but a little bit easier). She's not as fast as I expected, but she's got decent range.
I'll try to play through Voldo's and Sophitia's Tales today. _________________ Hmm... Defenestration is such a fun word. |

Well I started playing through Chronicles of Sword, but I've been calling it "Team of Naga", yeah... I made my lead person is Naga from Slayers accompanied with Storm Shadow from GI Joe, and some NPC character named Riese who's a thief. The missions remind of EXE 5's liberation mode. I'm playing at a very slow speed, I'm very new to the series and gameplay. (heck I do a better job with Storm Shadow than Naga...) |

Well, Naga isn't exactly what you'd call a melee fighter. I mean, you can give her a weapon, but she's supposed to cast spells. Hmm, I think I'd go with Chocolate or Tira Misu from Sorcerer Hunters over Naga. There just needs to be a whip available in SCIII ^w^
Hmm. I wonder if I could create Aoi from the Steel Angel Kurumi Manga? _________________ Church: Are you following any of this?
Caboose: I think so. That guy Tex is a robot, and you're his boyfriend. So that makes you... a gay robot.
Church: ... That's right... I'm a gay robot.

Naga's a staff wielding priest....
Seeing how there's maid crap, it might be possible.
Sadly in COTS, an NPC character I have is doing a better job than the ones I made....
She only lost 2 out of 20 battles.
When Naga and Storm Shadow have had about 5-7 losses. Then again this is Naga we're talking about it....

I apologize, I created a new topic. This didnt come up when I searched. I have a question, its about Ivy's "Summon Suffering". Was that in Soul Calibur 2, or is that a new move? I dont seem to remeber it being there in SC2, and I play as Ivy quite often. _________________

Summon Suffering was in both SC1 and SC2; in this game, she can now only perform it when her sword is in its normal state (Calamity Symphony can now only be done when the sword is in Whip State).
Anyway, I've beaten Chronicles of the Sword a couple of times...and I must say that the Theif class is kind of sucky. XP My commander is level 50 and her VIT isn't over 100. _________________ Hmm... Defenestration is such a fun word. |

Heh in general I do decent with Thief Class as long as I use wave swords.
I'm still trying to beat chronicles of the sword for the first time.... Then again I'm not very skilled at all since I had no prior experience to this game, and I'm known for button mashing in lots of games.... Right now I'm on Chronicle 16.
Some characters I made
http://tinyurl.com/algkm -this is a close up of Naga my lead character for COTS, she's a saint (0_o) equipped with Zassamel's Balor. She's a bit hard to use, but she's decently leveled (I guess it's from all those wacky losses).
http://tinyurl.com/alvm5 -some sort of female equivalent of Masa from EXE I suppose. I find the fisherman outfit cool for some odd reason. She's my strongest character in COTS. |

Oh, Chronicle 16 gave me a headache...the boss, especially. I can never do well under an 'All Guard Break' condition. 'Course, that's where I learned how to sidestep (I didn't know it could be done...double-tapping the D-pad does wonders), so it wasn't all a loss.
I generally use the Sickle discipline for the range, but then again, I never really let her fight.
My Created Characters (no pictures, sorry. I'll post the formulas if anyone wants them):
Linus: a Swordmaster, mainly uses the Chinese Sword discipline (Hwang for the win!). Originally I wanted to make him a sort of 'joke' character using Male Face 01, but he turned out to be my most powerful.
Ranelle: Knight using Soul of Seigfried. She's slow but tankish.
Alouette: A Saint, and a new addition to the ranks. I should have made her a Monk (wanted Soul of Kilik...oh well, that's what I get for not checking beforehand) but a Saint will do. Mainly uses the Staff discipline.
I'm going to make a male Dancer wearing all this armor (in a close approximation to SC1 2P Nightmare's costume) and have him use Soul of Voldo. Much fun shall be gleamed from there. :D
Anyway, what characters do you mainly use? I'm leaning toward Raphael and Nightmare. _________________ Hmm... Defenestration is such a fun word. |

I forget which one I'm on now.... I'm on the one where [spoil:7c76735c7c]you have to beat up your NPC team mates[/spoil:7c76735c7c]. The previous one was a bitch because block did crap nothing. I probably went through 20 battles alone just beating up the boss. |
