It seems the Mega Giga thing might still be around, that is, if Roll is indeed a Mega chip(which it didn't look like she is)

Two chips I missed


Coming Load and Going Load, creates a tredmill on one row of the enemy stage, bring them towards or away from you.

Magne Coil 1: Pulls in enemies on the top and bottom row attacks the central row

And don't be confused by Element Sword, when I said Elemental swords are back, I meant ELEC SWORD, FLAME SWORD, ect

EDIT: Blastman has an attack of Air Man's from back in EXE 2, "Air Bomber" :3 just some trivia

Edit again: Another Chip

Hell's Burner 1: Fire Arm (This is the chip that comes from the oven-like virus)

Wow ... this is going to be good . More than one of my favorite megachip . Hooray! ^_^ But downside is , I never bother to find MB ups until I beat the game and want SP/DS chips . -_-; Ah well . Looks like Capcom is trying to "revolutionize" -.- the game. The new chips look cool too . Looks like they have replaced fan and wind . Another friend 's name has been released . Yay ! Now we only have one left , Mystery Girl .

Intriguing. I for one, am quite thrilled that the Elemental Swords are making their return to the game. However, if the EXE5 rule for PAs still applies to EXE6, there may not be a diverse field of competitive-level folders, yet again.

And to tighten up the definition of the new chip limits as of yet--
Limit=floor(100/MB), where MB is the regular memory size of the chip, and the floor function is the greatest integer less than or equal to the number within, since we cannot have 5.36 copies of a chip.

Um, no, it's 2 left. There were 4 new people, two male and two female. So far we have Kojirou and Asuta (or could be "Asta", meh).

We know thier must be some other form of limitations put on chips as well. otherwise what would prevent people from filling thier folder with Giga chips and navi chips? Well, Assuming that isn't the path Capcom has decided to go. Would change the dynamics of things quite a bit.

Right but nothing in those rules prevent you from putting in 1 of each of the(atleast) 6 'Giga Chips' the game will surely have. There seems to be no restrictions on chips of comperable levels as long as they are all different. Unless I am understanding this all wrong.

Yay! A Fire Arm chip. I love that charge attack, and this one is one of my favorites. BY the sounds of it, the new chips are going to add some excellent strategies to the game. I'm reasonably sure that there arent any giga chips with less than 20 MB. THe new chip limitations are beginning to sound like the "deck limits" from Yugioh Reshef of Destruction. I hated those.

The way I interpeted it as, class limits are the highes ranking, still can only run one Giga becasuse of the limit one giga setting.

There are a couple Megas with a capacity in the range of limit one copy of that chip. You still can only have a total of 5 megachips with out other modifiers. So if you are running all low mb mega chips then you can easily run more than one or so copy of them, but no more than a grand total of 5 megachips.

Standard chips now have more range of amount, some can have 5 in a folders others 4, and others 3. So I believe the Hierarchy is not over ruled but the edited the other rules around it.

THank you (Kram, Elbog, KE, is there something you prefer?). You made it much clearer to me. It puts limits on stronger chips, and makes it so you cant have four copies of the chips to create some overpowering combos.

kram is fine. But yeah it is just added limits to chip groups. They are trying to combine some of their best systems. I mean they are bringing back old viruses, In one and 2 you could have 5 navi chips, one you could have I think 10 copies of a chip, in two you could have 5 copies of a chip. and then in three it became 1 copy of a navi chip, 5 mega, 1 giga, and 4 copies of standard chips. They are reviving stuff of old. and changing things. By adding the MB filter to chip amount it makes the MB above 50 have a purpose becasue stuff like 68, 72, 80, 99 and such MB made no sense because they couldn't pre set them but it doesn't make sense. If the Reg mem cap was 50, but this gives a purpose to the 68, 72, 80, and 99 mb on chips they are used for determining amount of copies of that chip that can be used.

Or at least that is how it seems to me, adds more variety to folder construction, in exe 1 power ful folders, same with 2, being able to run 5 copies of a chip you could have a folder containing 4 sets of two program advances pretty much.

That has not been confirmed in the games but it is safe to say Colonel and Barrel are time travelers because of the anime and a few things that happen in the game. I mean In TP Colonel just appears, and knows a lot about what has been going on. But it hasn't been confirmed in game, it might be confirmed in EXE 6 though but until it is the time travel is anime only and we shouldn't discuss it in this thread because in the anime thread Ryouko threatened to ban anyone who spoiled any plot points from the game in the anime section. So to be safe I don't think it is a good idea to do too much talking about the anime in this section. So yeah lets try to focus on the games.

I wonder exactly what some of the new navi chips will do, such as Blastman, Diveman, Judgeman, Elementman, Circusman, and so on. Hopefully the navi chips are all decent and not cruddy.
