Could I still use .txt as an image file?

I notice my sig won't work now as long as it has a .txt filename. I do that to cheat Geocities and stuff. It worked on the old board, now I don't suppose it could still work for this board with a bit of tweaking?

Yes, I suppose I COULD just get with the new millenium and get a decent image host, but I want to see if there's a solution that involves less work for me first.

It may be one of the security fixes we installed that is preventing that. Therefor it's probably undoable, sorry.

I suppose that you could always try to use TinyURL.com to link to your .txt image, or if that still doesn't work, link to a .jpg/.gif with TinyURL. I think that using [img]http://tinyurl/12345[/img] should work..

Which is weird, 'cause I tried with a tinypic url yesterday and it didn't show the picture. << The forum probably won't recognize anything without a .jpg, .gif or .png extension as a picture.

Edit: Success. Guess I'll be using Photobucket only for this forum from now on. Or now that I have it I can just use it for all my direct linking and save my Geocities space and bandwidth for the VI site (as if it needs it)
