I really don't understand Namco. They decide to make the next Soul Caliber game exclusive for the PS2 even though Soul Caliber 2 sold better on the GameCube. |

SC2 is a great game but why, Why does it have to be an exclusive. Oh well Namco will just sink to lower standards that's all..... _________________

Yay! Thats good! Its for PS2 and i have it! I didnt like Soul Cailbur 2 cause of the exclusive characters. It aint fair for Game Cube to have Link. Link is the strongest one and the best lookin one too! _________________

It'll almost certainly come to other systems after it's had a run on the PoS2. Not only that, but the other system versions will be updated, the way it usually happens. Game goes on PoS, moves to another system as a better version. I'll happily wait for the Game Cube's SCIII Happy-Happy Edition :D _________________ Church: Are you following any of this?

Link was faster, but Spawn was the strongest out of the three. His axe attacks could be used in succession after a big attack, and his levatation move could help him get away from horizontal strikes AND attack immediately. Link had faster moves and more speed in his attacks, but Spawn DEFINATELY had more power. Plus...Spawn looked badass in his black outfit (Although his limbo laugh at the end of the fight was kind of odd...)
Heihachi was just....bleh....his move set was horrible and he controlled just like a Tekken character...slow and unresponsive (Plus, he has more wrinkles than I can count...PUT A SHIRT ON MAN!!)
Soul Calibur 3 being ONLY on the PS2 is a big disappointment, although from various other places, it MIGHT come on to other systems (Although with the recent release of Namco's other games, they seem to have a partial liking of Sony for the time being.)

I wholeheartedly agree (My first PoS2 broke, my second one gave me disk read errors until it finally broke, and my current slim one is starting to act funny too...freezing all of my games and giving me disk read errors.) |

It just has to come to other systems cause even though the cube has the better character, that's no reason to not have the game on other systems.
(sorry Horoko it's not my opinion I read it in a game magazine) |

The game looks great, I only hope to see it on Gamecube too (they would make more money if they release the game in more consoles, I think they´re smart enought to have thought in that). I want a SCIII with Link. |

Only on PS2? Bloody hell, that's great! Looks like Namco is actually using some common sense and putting the game on the system where it belongs. I'm pretty sure that the PS2 version of SCII outsold the Xbox SCII, and I don't care about Nintendo. for I've lost all hope in them...But three new characters in SCIII? I'm happy. Pissed that it's gonna be a PS2 exclusive? Don't be. Hell, in my book, this is one of the greatest things to happen to the PS2 in years. Pissed that you don't have a PS2? Don't be. Just get one. _________________

On the system it belongs? In that case, it should be going to the arcades and only the arcades. =P
*Same goes with those system purists or something with Biohazard/RE, RMX, and whatever else went multiplatform now and then. They don't "belong" on Playstation systems. They originated elsewhere.* _________________ Net navis are like imaginary friends. The only difference is that you don't get weird looks for talking to them. |

Lost all hope in Nintendo? Care to elaborate? Because I'm sure it doesn't have anything to do with the fact that GC versions of SCII outsold PS2 versions.
Really, the PS2 does not need ANOTHER exclusive, Sony already has so many companies wrapped around its little finger, it doesn't need Namco too. I also like how you seem to think everyone has the money and the ability to purchase a PS2 in addition to whatever console they have right now. The only "common sense" Namco had in making SCIII that it didn't have in the other installments was including all the characters from the previous games. _________________ Stuck In The Middle With You; a Metroid and Halo crossover

I would buy a PS2 but I don't what to spend money on a system that may break and is a paperback book that my dad could might could break over his knee. (he's a pretty big guy too.) And I like my gamecube it has games I like and years upon years of work in the business (and remember mario revived the game industry when it was almost dead.) |

Sony has so many companies under its rule it isn't even funny. They have Capcom (Come on, most of you know it...even if Nintendo tried, they can probably get 1 new game from them, and that is if their lucky.) They have Atari (Of course, all Atari can do is sit back and get prodded by Sony's Rod of 'Stealing Dignity'.) Now, they are getting Namco...which is a huge disappointment.
Seriously, I am beginning to wonder how Sony does it. They could probably paste "PS2" to the back of a day-old turd and put it in a box, and people would buy it. I swear...I have NEVER had a system break on me THREE times...THREE TIMES...I still have a Famicom Home Computer from the 80's that still works TODAY....
Darn, it became a rant... |
