Ok i'm in the middle of trying to buy charaters (which can be very annoying) for a while I couldn't buy anyone but then I jacked up the diffucty to around 2-3 away from max and after I beat arcade mode I got Felicia *drool* but now I can't get anyone else again. Even tough I could have gotten War Mechene, Thanos, etc. I need help....

well you need points to buy people and you get points by beating arcade the better you do in arcade the more points you get. and also you can get points in trainning mode to I think the longer you stay in it the more you get. but just play arcade and get really good scores and you should be good, and oh yeah when you buy people don't forget to get the cheapest one to do that just back out and go back and the cost of them changes... I hope this helps some..

That's not the problem. Thing is no one is there to buy. It keeps saying "Sold Out" Even though I still have quite a few charaters left till I get all 56. I keep beinging the game and getting high scores but nothing changes

Are you using the japanese version of the game? If I'm not mistaken, that version restricted some characters by having three different kinds of points. Some characters can only be unlocked with those points -points you get in online play, arcade play (via vmu) or console play.

The american version should allow you to buy all characters with the points you get by playing the game.

Mari would be correct. I know because I have a Japanese copy of MVC2, and I can never open all of the characters because there ARE three types of points--D, N, and V. The V and N are only earnable through a Japanese arcade machine, and one of the others requires the Internet connection of the Dreamcast to play over a network.

But from the looks of things, since you unlocked Felicia, and she is a character that requires some number of N and/or V points, I'm unsure...

I have an american verson and turns out all I needed to do was jack up the diffucalty ^^;; thanks for the help
