Is your Naruto DVD specifically Region-2? For that matter, is it even an official Japanese DVD, or was it some burned CD you bought on eBay? Playstation 2's aren't supposed to play Region-2 DVDs (all Japanese DVDs, unless I'm mistaken) unless it's a Japanese PS2 (or modded). _________________

Only a Japanese PS2 will play the official EXE Movie DVD.
Most computer DVD Players, however, WILL play it (you need to switch the region codes - but beware, the switches between codes are limited). _________________ "Cats are interesting. Yeah, most computers with a DVD-Rom drive can switch back and forth between any region five times before the switch becomes permanent. |

Well, what you might have is a bootleg version, which is region free. |

Well, normally. a NA PS2 CAN play can and will play the EXE Movie DVD - I have it and it works. BUT - you need a special disk - the GameShark2 PS2 disk. It has a "Region Free" feature which let's you choose which DVD region you're about to play and then let's you play any of 'em on your NA PS2. WIN

Some newer DVD Drives don't have any region locks. Otherwise, import one from NZ; since theirs aren't at any rate. They decided that Area Locks were an illegal constraint of trade. _________________

Rip the DVD on your computer, change its region using DVD shrink or the like, reburn. _________________ You have your Navis, your Crazies, then you have your Shamanic Enzans |
