Hum. I really like the concept of it, what with the wings and fire and all, but there's a few things you should work on. Warning, heavy critique ahead. XD
Some parts seem a bit disproportioned (sp?); his neck seems a little too short and thick, making him look a little more heavy-set than he really is. Also, his head looks somewhat squarish- try making the chin a bit more rounded, the eyes a bit lower, and the hairline a bit higher.
Despite the things that need work, the idea of wings and fire is awesome- it makes him look a whole lot cooler. ^ ^

Well, it certainly looks very interesting.
The aura and the wings were a nice touch, IMO :]
My only complaint would be the symbol and the head, which are a bit smaller than the rest of the body...maybe you could try to draw 'em a lil' bigger?
Otherwise, nice sketch/concept you've got there ^__^

Also there are a lot of things wrong with this drawing the most notable is the head. Also it looks like you didn't draw the anatomy first. If you want I could help you out with a link to an artist who knows anatomy like the back of his hand, Andrew Loomis.

It's hard to learn proportions at first. If you have difficulty doing it freehand, try tracing for awhile. That said, you earn points in my books for having the courage to put your work up. As long as you practice, you'll get better so don't be put off! In the end, we just want to help you.

The fix for the neck is to make it too thin rather than too thick, then work your way up to thicker necks until you have what looks right. A thin neck can look odd, but you're looking to create definition, a definite difference between the neck and the head. Also, I dont know if you intended for there to be no chin, but normally, it shouldn't slope inward to connect with the neck.
