That didn't have any of the feeling the original version did. A lot of pointless edits. They cut him holding Netto by the throat...BUT YOU SEE IT LIKE FIVE MINUTES LATER. What the crap?
Then they censor the wave from the Variable Sword stabbing Enzan...but you can still see it after the flash. More useless-ness.
They cut Netto getting cut up but they left Enzan's in? Why?
"I need a vacation" >_> Wow, can they not follow the orginal script?

It was okay... it just lost some meaning because they used some nice music at the wrong time. .-.

Well, yeah I agree with you, though. At least they kept the violence. I would like to see the part where Protoman is turned into stone and sands himself away... >_o I think it's the fact I saw that at 3:30pm, not at 10:50 pm.

Wow did like... everyone hit the board at the same time to post roughly the same thing to sound repeated? That's kinda cool.
As for the glowing emblem A) It's not in the original, and B) I don't remember seeing the emblem glow... must have been my eyes.

Cut was the wrong word, they EDITED it, it was slightly altered & please post the entire sentence, they cut the sword hitting him, so acutally cut was the right word :puku:

| might have been dubbed & kids WB decided to cut it out, they did do that for 2 eps in exe, they spliced 2 of them together meanwhile there was more dubbed footage thats DVD only & canada only, besides, Kids WB skipped some episodes, so as far as we know, the other axess eps that were skipped might air in canada |

You know, I was pissed that Chaud's father didn't appear in today's episode. In fact, I thought that the reason why the 'funeral scene' was cut was that KidsWB! didn't want to scare viewers with the elements from the original. Oh, I did like the flashback of Chaud from when he was a child where he first met ProtoMan. ProtoMan was sooo nice in that flashback sequence. ^__^

Speaking of, am I the only one who noticed Chaud was holding the Advanced PET rather than the original, larger version during the flashback? That could be chalked up to it being a replay/rewrite rather than the actual memory, but it could've just as easily been an animation error. *shrugs* I dunno, just something I noticed ^^;

You and everyone else notice that. XD For some reason they use the current PET for flashbacks...except for Stream when Meddy was seen in an Advance PET rather than a Progress PET.

Hmmm... I appear to have missed this episode of which you speak... guess I'm ganna have to scan my sat guide a bit more seriously for the next ep ^.=.^;;;
But if they left pretty much anything of people getting Cut up... nehehe... that I MUST see *can't wait to seee if Teletoon will rerun it anytime soon*

*twitch* I should've expected the episode to be hacked, but it hurts to still see it. The entire emotional feel of the original was completely lost in its dub counterpart.
The funeral scene really tied in Enzan and Blues' relationship, seeing as Enzan no longer had anyone else to turn to. In that scene, his father also orders him to begin special training to be a top net battler for their company. Which explains Enzan's entire determination to "be the best", as he acted in the first season.
Ah well.

I still say we're lucky to have been able to see it at all. And at least there are places/people to get the original from, if one looks around enough.

I saw the episode. I was upset that they cut out the funeral scene with Chaud and his father, but at least they showed Chaud when he first got Protoman.
They could of used a better song for the ending. Its used to much. :/
I rate this ep 8/10.
