Well I know they aren't that good, but I'm clueless on which one to send...

And even if I do edit them, they will STILL come up terrible..
Since I can't ask for things here, I can't ask if someone can edit it for me...

I don't know what to do now...

What your friends say has no say in the LEGAL system. It's plagurized from a game, therefore if you were to send it in you could get into legal trouble.

Dude, if you send Templeman in, you would get sued t'ill you've got nothing left.

Try to find a better idea, because I don't see Emperorman getting accepted either.

I'd suggest that you look at whatever you want to base it on, take a few traits from the character at most, and think for a while about how you can make the design interesting and do the rest your self.

Also, Emperorman shows that your drawing is fairly decent (and even better than some of the winners in the past), so you don't need to trace over art to make your entries.

Emperorman was actually a good shot at that. I'd suggest that you look back at it, and then for your next try, attempt to change as many aspects as you can without straying entirely from the theme. I can't guarentee that it'll get you a good design, but it will at least get one of your problems out of the way.

But, if you can't take the effort to at least do that and make up your own attacks, then I don't think you have any chance of getting close to anywhere besides one of the last places in the contest.

Please don't ask how to enter a contest that has not been even announced yet. Wait up until the official announcement for it comes, I'm sure several websites will list how you can enter your own deisgns for the contest when it's opened.

OK, I'll try to make another navi, but it isn't coming along well...I have like 18 messed up navi sketches in my scrapbook. The only two that came out well were TempleMan and EmperorMan...

Ok, I'll make a human-like navi, but I'm not good with human styles. I know I'm not supposed to ask for help, but can someone post like a human navi concept so I can try at it? I'll use the navi I made some weeks ago, VisorMan...

And, just to add my bit, I don't think Capcom would actually sue Jeremi. Logically, they'd get all kinds of copycat Navis in the contests, since they are targetted at a younger audience. But, there's no way plaguerised material would actually make it into the games, not without serious changes anyway.

As Jeremi has said, i'm going to help edit his pictures to be more original. We go to the same school so he gives me basic sketches of navis he wants to make and I edit them. This way he can still post his ideas, but they won't look like someone else's work, i hope anyway. And yes IF and only if there is another contest, we will submit one of them.
