Imagine being in the CyberWorld...

Anyone every imagined being in the Cyber World? :/ Just came to mind, I sometimes wonder what RockMan, Roll, and all those crazy Navis feel like in the Internet... -_-; Anyway, I think that there'll be some metallic floor panels, and maybe some pictures stimulating the place where the internet server is located, or is meant for ^_^ Maybe some XTRA tall data-buildings, like CyberBanks and CyberHotels? Confused

I wonder...

The closest we're going to get to actually being in the CyberWorld is virtual reality... and the concept of the whole Internet becomming a virtual-physical world is very far off... it'll likely be an entirely different type of network...
Maybe when Quantum computers start becoming mainstream...

Theoretically, it would be designed very similar to that of our own world... but it's interesting to imagine and fantasize. It'll probably just like how the Internet was depicted on Futurama XD

I like the Digimon concept of the digital world... I'd like to go there (so long as I got a Digimon partner~)

I'm reasonably confident that the Cyber World would depend on the data in it and around the area you were in. So...there would probably be a *lot* of viruses and porn in the Cyber World of today.

Somebody needs to give it a good flush and start over.

That would be quite the life. But, (as what happened in Pendragon, sort of as long as we had gloid) maybe we would become addicted to it ("it" being virtual reality), and start neglecting the real world. We would enjoy perfection too much.

Note: Even though there'd be viruses, people could stay on HP's, or use a sneakrun and stay in ACDC.

If hazards like viruses or hackers were to attack this world then it will be forbidden to the public. I'd prefer the idea of a digital world from Digimon rather than the Megaman version. I mean, compare the settings for Megaman.exe's cyber world to the Digital World. It's so full of life and is like our world.

i understand what Goggles is saying, but i really like the idea of the MMBN-type cyberworld. now, someone in a previous post made the point of virii looking like psuedo-navis and NetBattling wouldn't be fatal and the such and that's true. the way i see it though, if we ever have this type of network, it would look like a big MMO, separate from the current 'Net. at least for now anyways. my friend and i are really interested in seeing if we can make this a reality (no, seriously :] ), if only for the NetBattles and real PETs.

I have an entirely different view than little metallic panels and bright colors. I like to think of the Cyberworld in a more realistic way, with day and night cycles, programmed weather patterns, different terrain, etc. If you think of it logically, it's a pretty slim chance of that, but imagination doesn't always have to involve logic. On another note, I usually use this realistic view of the Cyberworld when writing my fanfics- it makes the overall setting seem a whole lot more enjoyable, what with the grass and trees and such. Worn down buildings, towering skyscrapers shining from miles away... this kind of view gives a whole entire set of possibilities, making everything a lot more interesting.

The Cyberworld would evolve with the technologie.
Metalical panel in the beginning after 10 years they would be the full realistic world.

Netnavi concept in our world isn't impossible (in the PET, Dimentionnal Area will surely never exist or else this would be the beginning of a war because Cros Fused solder would be powerful),. Today our computer is a big box. But for a computer like today in the 50s a 3Ghz would have take 4km². So maybe in 2050 we would have a 3000 Ghz computer portable with an Artificial Intelligence. Once you got the AI giving in a 3D model would be the first thing research would do because it is easier to talk with something.

Netnavi would exist but maybe i will too old before. In 2050 i would have 61 years, before everyone can afford a netnavi it would be 2065.

After linking the brainwave with the navi would be surely impossible.

i like your idea of the CyberWorld FeatherDust. it would make the Net a lot more interesting, as something will always be going on (at least, enviromental-wise)...hey, this is kind of like Animal Crossing! :D by the way, those lyrics are from "Heard 'Em Say"!

If the digital world were as plain as it is in the Rockman game that would be a shame. I like the idea of a scenic cyber-world a lot more, allthough not with weather. The AI would get too soggy if it rained.

Can AI get soggy? So what if the technology becomes real in 2050, maybe not like MMBN like world but like Digimon or Ghost in the Shell? I mean some of technology used in both shows could be useful if not practical.

I don't think full prosthetic bodies would be practicle, I mean then probably couldn't well you know. That might be a solution to the overpopulation of the earth though. I mean now Digimon I still doubt would be practical at all. Heck if something like the digital world did exist in the future it would probably be more like Lyoko and then the going to the digital world would make more sense than being sucked in through a computer screen. Or maybe they could have it like the Digital world in Digimon World 3, a MMPRPG using VR technology. Saiyajin space Pods YAY!"
